*comes into the Square singing "Therapy" by Relient K"

So, I am tired. I am very, very, very tired. Life has been crazy busy, but I'm glad to say that it's been going well. :) School is coming to an end (YAY!) and so I have a bunch of assignments and finals to complete. My grandmother is visiting and bringing with her my eldest sister who is staying with us ALL summer!! I am so, so excited!

Of course, that means that we have to do our spring cleaning. We always deep-clean the house before Grandma visits. Which means I was spending the majority of my afternoon dusting, organizing book shelves, and cleaning in general. Ugh. I didn't get any home work done. But I guess it will have to wait for tomorrow morning, because NW posts are a priority at the moment. :)

Time to catch up...a task I have been putting off far too long. :P

Sounds fun! I also see at the top of your post you debated with your sister on this topic till 2 am! That sounds like something I would do. Let me know how the debate goes.

So, about the debate...I guess overall it went pretty well. Our team lost by one point and I'm pretty sure it was my fault. Call it stage fright. But I totally blanked. I was supposed to do the rebuttals and the closing argument (most important part of the debate) and I totally goofed up on both of them. I couldn't catch half the things they were saying in their rebuttals and I was supposed to refute every single one of them. Ah, well. I guess it turned out okay.

But let's just say, I don't like debates. :P

And now I have a 20 minute oral presentation due in a week!! Eeep! :-ss I'm really nervous, but really excited. Oral presentations aren't so bad (especially after going through the painful process of a debate ;)). We just have to talk about our research paper: why we wrote, why we chose the subject we did, what our thesis statement was, and so forth. My topic is the Sabbath and the Fourth Commandment in the Bible. I had lots of fun with it. :) So I'm looking forward to this presentation.

Heh, I've had the football thing happen... :p Not the most fun event. ;))
Yeah. ;)) It was pretty nice to have never taken one. :p And I probably wouldn't've except Mom said to. And since I took one yesterday I took one today thinking, "Hey, this'll really help. And you can't keep the record anymore..."
And I'm glad I took it today. :) So.
Anything new with you?

I guess it works that way with everything. I thought I would never have to take drugs to help me sleep, but when I get sick I cannot fall asleep. And so I will have to take Tylenol PM or some equivalent of that. No fun. Because you're all drugged and groggy in the morning.

And head ache medicine (like Advil) does really help a lot of the times. :)

Not much is going on here. I'm pretty busy. School is coming to an end. Yay!! But I have a dance recital this Saturday and a final to prepare for and Latin to keep studying before I'm finished. So, that's why I haven't been on here very much. :P

How about you? Like I said, it's been a while...

Yeah me too :p . I have been busy, but mostly with school. However if I do get a part in this musical I'm sure I'll be very busy. I don't really have time to do it as it is but I auditioned b/c my sister was and I already missed out on another musical she did ;) . What have you been doing lately?

Do you know if you got the part in the musical or not yet? It'd be cool if you did! Even if it is a time-consuming obligation.

School has been taking up the majority of my time as well lately. And I have a dance recital this Saturday, which I am really looking forward to! :)

Hey Ruby (can I call you that?), yeah, I agree. And I tend to apply a lot of the songs I listen to to Narnia. :p Ooh, lucky, you don't have to buy it then. ;) Not that I mind it for this particular album.. but still.

So sorry that it's taken me forever to reply. Yeah, calling me Ruby is great! I usually go by Ruby or Dani, whichever your prefer. :) Do you have a nickname that you like to go by?

Oooh!! I was so hyper yesterday when the album was released!! Of course, we haven't received ours in the mail yet, but I was still excited! It was a momentous occasion for me. :P Call me weird.

I know what you mean, Ruby. By the time Monday morning rolls around, I'm already looking forward to Friday. ;)) Only two more days.... only two more days..... Yeah. I just have four tests and a project to finish in the meantime. :p

BUT. I'm surviving. :) ;))

Four tests and a project? Sounds nasty! I just finished up two final tests for the year and I have one more final before it's over. Other than that, though, I don't have anything else! I hope everything went well. :) By the time it took me to reply, you're probably already finished with it all. :P

*waves to Benjamin* Heey! Good to see you on the Square! It seems like you've been away for a while. Been busy? How has everything been going? :)

*GASPS*

I almost lost my post!! That was a heart attack!! I'm horrible when it comes to clicking on random links on my toolbar... :P

*gives a hug to Lady Liln* How have you been doing?

Hello, Ruby! *waves back* It's good to see you too! I am doing wonderful, thanks. How are you? :)

At the moment I am tired. My sleeping system is all messed up again. I've been getting to bed extremely late and sleeping in. Not good. But my schedule has been so busy and my home work piling up high that I never seem to be able to get to bed early.

Though, tonight, my sister and I have decided to ignore home work, get to bed early, and finish we didn't last night tomorrow morning. Sounds like a plan to me and I hope it works. :)

How about you? It's been a while since I was on here...

I know, aren't I? ;)

And as humble as a church mouse. ;)

I will be praying! :) Have you gotten any answers about the music thing yet? I'm pretty good, thanks! Really enjoying the spring/early summer weather, although lately it's been kind of...cold. >_> ;))

I've really been loving the weather lately too!! Spring is definitely my favorite season. :) I'm not sure about everything yet, but it's definitely not a closed door, so I'm still shooting for it. My parents have worked out one thing, though. My brother and I are going to be in a high school ensemble next semester. And my mom is going to be either pianist or assistant teacher. I am so, so, SO excited about it!! :)

How have you been?

Heeeey!! Is that Kat I see on the Square?? *HUGS* So good to see you on here!! It's been a long time. :)

I have consulted with the postmaster and he has agreed to let you ship your belated wishes at a much lower rate than he usually allows people to do. So, there is no harm in sending them late. ;)

Oh, phew! #:-s I was afraid that I was going to have to pay for all that expensive shipping! And with it so late...

But seriously, how did your birthday go overall? Feel any older?

Ruby, how did your really interesting debate go?

I, personally, don't think I did very well. All my teammates did great, though! We still lost by one point and I'm pretty sure it was my fault. But, oh well. It was a fun experience, but this is one person who will definitely not be doing anymore debates in the future (if she can help it :P ).

And are those...giant toasted ants??? GROSS!!! Where do you get these things? ;) Vern has quite exquisite taste buds, I guess...

*waves to Princess Anna, sweetlilgurlie, and Prince Cor*

I must be washing laundry and then rushing off to bed!! Good night all and God bless!!

*To clarify the misinformation recently given about how much chili I eat: I usually consume 3 to 4 gallons. Granted, this amount may vary from more to less depending on if there is dessert afterwards and how much root beer is available.... ;)

Oh, there you all are! ;))
*waves to everyone who has posted since my last post*

Hmm... what to talk about? *thinks* Sorry, guys... no ideas! Weird, when I can't come in here, I have things to say to you. But when I'm here I can't think of anything...

Well, if you can't think of anything... I have plenty to say.
They don't wanna know all that!
For your information, Matthew, I was going to tell them about my idea for the tractor...
Oh, I know! I also know that you aren't allowed near the tractor no more!
Whaddya talk, MACers? I am too allowed!
No you're not! Don't you remember the last time you went near the tractor?
I don't know what you are talkin about! I didn't do nothing to that tractor, and you all know it!
You landed it in the ditch!
No I didn't!
I WAS THERE! You can't deny something you had witnesses for!

Watch me!
I do. All the time. To keep my dad from locking you up!
Uncle Tom wouldn't lock me up...
Wanna bet?! Maybe I should ask him to. If that happened, maybe I'd actually get to finish the drawing I started earlier!
You never STOP drawing!
Oh, please... you are so making that up! I never get the chance to finish them because you always interrupt me with your ideas!
You finish them...
Yeah. A week later!
You could always finish them when we get home...
If I did that I'd never sleep.
True. You do need your sleep...
CHARLES ANDREW MCALLISTER, do NOT make me hurt you! I'm too tired from practice, to have to sit on you again!

*finally regains control*
Sorry about them. Do you see what I mean now? I can't take them anywhere... 8-|

Mortereve, everyone! :)
(It feels slightly special, saying that for the first time :p )

AslansCountry, I totally understand that. Riley is awesome! He has so many funny lines.

Ah, I know. I have to watch those movies again.

*waves back to NarniaNut*

Hurray! There aren't too many people who love onions. :)

I know. :(( :(( It's one of the sadder facts of life. ;)

Aaah no iTunes! I've only bought one CD off iTunes and I want to keep it that way, I regret it every day . I looooove my hard copies.

Me too... but they're a bit hard to come by in Japan. ;) And preorders take forever to arrive. So if it's a choice between waiting and downloading, I download. :p

Thank you- me too! I've been kinda obsessed with Bryce since the concert, can you tell?

Not at all. ;) lol. I had my TRS-phase, now it's kinda over. Not that I don't still love his music.

*waves to ForeverFan and moves onto page 160, very conscious of the work waiting when I get off the computer*

Nice to see you in the Square, Kat :)

*waves to PC and Djaq*

Aslans Country: Yeah, I'm looking forward to listening to the new TAN CD!!!

Have you had a chance yet? :)

Anyone heard the song "The Sound" by Switchfoot?
We've met the John Perkins mentioned.

I already read this over in the music thread, but that's awesome. :p

*waves to CSLewisNarnia*

I haven't been here half as much as I should like; and I would like to be here far more than half the time of double what I deserve. *hopes that this turns out to be a compliment all around*

:)) :)) *laughs*

Yesterday was a pretty awesome day because, guess what? I got The Light Meets the Dark! BWAAAAAAAAH!

BWAAAH is right! :p I love the CD too. ;)

Yeah, calling me Ruby is great! I usually go by Ruby or Dani, whichever your prefer. Do you have a nickname that you like to go by?

Hmm... Ruby, Dani, Ruby, Dani, Ruby, Dani.. :- :- *tries to make a decision* :p
Not particularily, although my friends call me by very strange names that would make absolutely no sense to you sometimes. :p My name's Kathryn, you can call me Kathy, I suppose, or Kathryn, or just stick with AC. Whatever you want. :)

Oooh!! I was so hyper yesterday when the album was released!! Of course, we haven't received ours in the mail yet, but I was still excited! It was a momentous occasion for me. Call me weird.

Don't worry, I was excited, and I already had the CD. :p Have you gotten it yet?

EDIT: Forgot to say, I love your avatar - August Rush, right? :)

Jo: Yep, our exchange student is here! He arrived day before yesterday--mostly he's been sleeping so far. ;)) So I haven't gotten a chance to ask him many questions...

Kat: Hi. ;)

Aslans Country: Heh, sadly, no. I really hope I have the chance to listen to it today--and the rest of Hello Hurricane. :p

Ruby: Well, next week we're going on vacation! To Illinois. :D And Wisconsin actually. ;)) So that should be fun. :D ... Um ... Hm. Other then that--piano lessons today. And a wedding on Friday. And violin group lessons and family friends are over Saturday. And Sunday is church, etc. Monday we leave for WI. ;))

Oh dear, I hope I didn't miss anyone... I have a feeling I might've. :p

*waves to PA on the previous page*

Maybe, but I have it identified as being from Return of the King.

Oh, good grief. I knew it sounded awfully familiar. I can't believe I didn't get that. :P

And ... what a fun Mother's Day poem, Mel. :D Yep, Yay, Moms! ♄

*agrees with PA that Les Mis is a great soundtrack* And along with my very focused motif of the LotR CDs ;) I do enjoy the following, in no particular order:

~Fiddler on the Roof
~Amazing Grace
~Anne of Green Gables
~The Passion of the Christ
~Harry Potter
(I only own three, but I enjoy the lot)
~the Village
~Hidalgo
~War of the Worlds
~the Bourne soundtracks
~Pirates of the Caribbean
~Star Wars

Those last two I can only listen to so much at one time, then they become rather repetitive, but they're fun listens now and then with some great themes.

MissAravis, I know, that 'treat' for Vern made me gag too, although I'm glad to see the Dragon, himself, was thrilled. ;))

sweeet, we'd love to see you in the Square more! :D

[quote="PrinceCor, referring to the first 20 minutes of UP":3gm3mzmp]I actually preferred after the initial opening montage when the film started to get more funny.

Ditto! :)

I do wonder why PC refused Vern's offer of the toasty ant treats. *tries one ... CRUNCH* Hmm, they're not too bad once you get past the legs. :P

Awww, Lady A, we missed each other ... again! :( But thanks for the and right back atcha! :D

Whew! That's quite the snow/Bulgy Bear/Vern story. ;))

Wups, I guess the title of my Sherlock Holmes tome is quite misleading: the book itself isn't an original; it just has the original drawings in it. But speaking of originals, I do have some 1928 copies of A.A. Milne's stories and poems, as related here. :)

A certain dragon just nudged me and said it was time for my bath.

Just had a thought: does Vern heat your bath water for you? Or does he instead take care of the sauna? Or the furnace, for that matter? ;)

Ruby! I remember when your sister first went away to stay with your Grandma. How nice it is time for her to return home. :D

Ick, sorry about the debate, Ruby.

Vern has quite exquisite taste buds, I guess...

Exquisite? Or *ahem* weird. Ssshh, don't let dear Vern hear me say that.

Whoa, that's a whole lot of chili, Vern! Where does the Lady purchase all those kidney beans? :-o

Aslans Country, I had forgotten you're in Japan! Are you bilingual?

Queen Susan, you're going on another vacation? Verrry niiiice! :D Wisconsin is beautiful (we visited there last summer): so much farmland and picturesque scenes. We were mostly around the Delafield/Oconomowoc area and fell in love with it. Is your exchange student going with you or is he 'holding the fort' at your home until your return?

Well, this evening I have a special event: a birthday gathering with some dear girlfriends, so I'm trying not to eat too much today ... so I can tonight. ;))

*scurries into the Square* Mortereve all! Wow, I'm gone for just a few days and look how fast the Square moves! Well here's a super fast ketchup post...

Btw, for any Ranger's Apprentice fans out there, I think Book 8 is coming out in the USA sometime this week! :D I can't wait for it!

NN95, good point - a permanent retainer would probably fit better. I'm afraid I hadn't considered that at all...lol.
Glad to hear the play worked out fine! :)

Miss Rose, you're lucky you didn't have much pain when you got your braces on. ;) Actually, though, I can't complain that much. It only hurt bad for the first couple days, except it still hurts sometimes when I'm eating. And yes, I have had braces before, but only on my middle top teeth. :)
Oh, I hope the family reunion works out in the summer! We might be having a family reunion in July. They're always so much fun. :D

FF, glad you're doing well! :) Do you have anything much planned for the summer?
My braces are working out great, thanks for asking! I barely notice them anymore.

MissAravis! Glad to see you back in the Square again! :D How are you?

PrinceCor, that's great that you saw Up! It's such a good movie! :D

Djaq, yup, now I have a full set of braces on. :) It hasn't been too bad so far; getting them on wasn't as painful as I'd expected, thankfully. :p
Yeah, I know what you mean! The thing that annoyed me when I got my ears pierced was that I had to sleep with the earrings in, since you have to wear them for two or three months or whatever, and they would always poke into the side of my ear while I was sleeping. ;))
Oh, and yes, I am a big Robin Hood fan now! :D I watched episodes 1, 2, 3, and 7. For some reason they played episode 7 after episode 3 on TV...I don't why they didn't just go to 4. *shrugs* Lol, anyway, I really like it now!

QS, I'm with you there! :p It still hurts to bite down on something with my two front teeth...but other than that I'm fine, lol.

*waves back to johobbit* Hello! Yes, I am still into the Gaithers! :p Lol. I think the GVB's next CD comes out in August, so I'm really looking forward to it. :) Also, I recently became a fan of the Isaacs, a group that sings bluegrass. They're so good!

Aw, I'm sorry you've been so busy, Ruby! :( Hope you're able to get some rest. :)
Well, not a ton is going on. I have a piano recital tomorrow evening, which I am really nervous about...and we're going on vacation next week - I can't wait! :) Other than that, not much.

AslansCountry, hope you're able to watch NT1 and 2 again soon! They're such good movies. :D
So, what have you been up to?

*faints* Okay, that was long! Guess I'm done now. Oh, and a random fact for anyone who is interested in: If you live to be 80 years, you will have slept 15 years of your life. (Yes, random, I know. One of my Sunday School teachers mentioned it earlier...I thought it was pretty interesting. :p )

PA, I think she liked it. Maybe. Anyway, she wanted to know if I was going to do one for Father's Day, but I said all I could think of was to rhyme Father and bother and Dad and bad... I doubt that would go over as well. :p So we tried 'borrowing' from Dr. Seuss, but that didn't work so well either.

*is wondering what, exactly, Charlie wanted to do with a tractor* I'm assuming it had very little to do with field work... But, yes, I can see how that would quickly go from amusing to annoying. ;)) (But it's still very amusing at this point.)

I've finally seen a movie with Jennifer Connelly in it. ;)

You've seen more than I have. ;)) Is she a good actress, do you think?

Btw, for any Ranger's Apprentice fans out there, I think Book 8 is coming out in the USA sometime this week! :D

Ack! How long was I gone and there are two pages! Or one and a half...anyways :p

@ Ali. Very good, thanks. :) Just finished a late dinner of homemade potato soup. :D

ooh yum! I love potatoes cooked in any which way. They're the only root vegetable I really love :p .

Anyone heard the song "The Sound" by Switchfoot?
We've met the John Perkins mentioned. Another kind of subtitle for the song is "John M. Perkins' Blues" I think. :D

[Random Fact of the Day]

coolness. Saw this in the fave music thread :p .

Is the second a long or short? I remember being asked about how to pronounce my name when I was graduating, and I'm like, "Eh, whatever; but the last way you said sounds good." And then my mom says that it's the opposite. (And since she named me I guess she'd know, right?) But I don't remember which way it's 'supposed' to be said anymore since I always go by one of my nicknames. ;))

You pronounce it "ah-ly-sahn-dru". Yeah practically everyone I know pronounces my name a different way, I don't care too much anymore. It'd just be easier if everyone called me Ali though :p .

A lot of it is more technical stuff that's debated by amazing creation scientists.

Yup, it's sad to see all those "Peace" and "Coexist" symbols.

Oof, I really don't have an opinion on that, and don't care to at this point. I'm sure Dani would like to talk about that, though.

lol at first I couldn't find your reply to me b/c you put Rosa instead of Ali ;)) .

Yeah I don't like to get huge into the technicalaties though. They can be annoying and uneccesary :p . I know I made some spelling errors there ;) .

Ugh I know! Coexist is EVERYWHERE 8-| .

You don't have an opinion! You don't care! :p Ok, whenever Dani comes on :p .

Ali: hehe yes, I used to frequent the square but a few months ago I stopped... I'm giving myself more time here now though since I had to leave some other websites. I deleted my twitter and I left the Switchfoot forums (which was really really really hard. I just went back and looked at people's posts and everyone was super upset that I left, but I think it's for the better, at least right now. :/) because of some.. stuff. (I can clarify in a PM if you like :P ) Mainly because they were big time-wasters. And apparently it was the "wrong crowd of people" to be talking to. But yeah.... I'm still incredibly sad about the SF boards. I feel like I lost part of my family or something... which is kinda sad, but true ;))
Wow.. ok sorry for ranting. You didn't need to read all that :P

sure you can PM me :) . So I shouldn't bother joining the SF boards? I was looking some of the stuff over and they have a Crush thread? :-s I don't worry you're just venting. I do it all the time :p .

Do you know if you got the part in the musical or not yet? It'd be cool if you did! Even if it is a time-consuming obligation.

School has been taking up the majority of my time as well lately. And I have a dance recital this Saturday, which I am really looking forward to! :)

No I still don't know. Hopefully by the end of next week :| . They're taking FOREVER :p .

Ooh I hope that goes well! What kind of dance? Irish step dance?

Me too... but they're a bit hard to come by in Japan. ;) And preorders take forever to arrive. So if it's a choice between waiting and downloading, I download. :p

oh well I see what you're saying...but I prefer waiting. CDs are the one thing I'll be patient for :p .

Not at all. ;) lol. I had my TRS-phase, now it's kinda over. Not that I don't still love his music.

lol ;)) . Yes his music is definitely love-worthy ;) . I'm going through a few obsessions right now. Usually it's one at a time but right now it's a few. :p

Mortereve all!

Wait, that reminds me. I think I have a similar volume. How could I have forgotten? *runs downstairs to look* Aha, it's the Original Illustrated Sherlock Holmes: 37 short stories and a bunch of other good stuff. And lookee there: "The Speckled Band" is included, yay! I'll try and read it sometime this week yet. :)

Ah, that's neat! Let us know how you enjoy "The Speckled Band".

Maybe I didn't say what I meant... ;)) For instance, you've posted in a font called Samurai (at least, I'm assuming this is what it would look like?), which I don't have, so the browser is displaying the text you wrote as a serif font. Which, I imagine, is similar to what you're seeing for AliciaWonderland... (I'd screencap, but I'm lazy...) I don't know if it works exactly the way it does in HTML, but in HTML it is tied to what fonts are installed on your computer, which is why you're supposed to use common fonts when designing a website or make your fancy font stuff into images.

Ah, my bad. I only assumed I was able to see your font because it looked different than everything else, but I guess it was just displaying something like Times New Roman, which everyone has. Interesting!

@ NN. It's an older movie/score, from 1994 to be exact. The movie is rubbish (an overblown soap opera set against historical events), but the score is simply amazing! One of Horner's absolute best with only minimal re-used music from earlier films. If you like An American Tail and Dragonheart, definitely give Legends a listen. :D You can find clips of the album easily on youtube. :)

Right, though Twilight Zone has some more traditional music mixed in with the creepy stuff. Still, you'd probably be doing better just to skip it. I hope you can get those two soon!

Ah, I see. No wonder I've never heard of it. Not that I've heard of most modern movies either, though... ;)) Anyway, I should definitely look into getting those!

Sorry to hear you lost! But I'm glad it was close. ;)) I imagine I wouldn't do well at a formal debate either. They sound really hard. An friend of mine, who's very good at discussing theological things, frequently tells me about when he was a kid debating in school. They never actually won, because of their style of debating, but they always got everyone to agree that that they were right. ;))

Sounds like fun, but a lot of work, too! That's something homeschoolers miss out on. Even if they are required to prepare an oral report, there's really nobody to present it to, except maybe the family. They never get the experience of presenting it in front of school.

I almost lost my post!! That was a heart attack!! I'm horrible when it comes to clicking on random links on my toolbar... :P

Out of curiosity, have you ever heard of Lazarus (it's a Firefox add-on)?

NN95, good point - a permanent retainer would probably fit better. I'm afraid I hadn't considered that at all...lol.
Glad to hear the play worked out fine! :)

Now, you've had braces before, right? Or am I totally making that up? ;))
Thank you!

lol at first I couldn't find your reply to me b/c you put Rosa instead of Ali ;)) .

Whoops, my bad!

Ah, I love the technical stuff, but that's just the way I am. The thing with a lot of the technical stuff is that you can't be dogmatic about a lot of it, since nobody really knows all the technical aspects for sure.

Mmmhmm. Have you ever seen those bumper stickers with symbols of all different religions that form the word "Coexist"?

lol, not really. It'll be interesting to read you're discussing with Dani, though. :)

Mortereve all!

Jo: Yep, yet another vacation. ;)) Our student was going to come with us on this said vacation...
But turns out he's going back to South Korea early Sunday morning!! His parents sent him to the US to become a Sports Trainer (he's pretty good at Soccer I guess) ;)) and it ends up he wants to be an actor! ;)) So he discussed it with his parents in the last few days... and they decided he could try acting school for a few months in S. Korea...

Wow. So--we had a foreign exchange student... and after the first 5 days he's going to leave. :p

All the best with your braces, Narnia Girl. Who's the other person who just got braces? Oh yes, Queen Susan. :)

And hurrah for still liking the Gaithers. :D Yes, I've heard a bit of the Isaacs' music. Talented, they are.

Oh, and a random fact for anyone who is interested in: If you live to be 80 years, you will have slept 15 years of your life.

15 years! What a waste of time. ;)) Even though I know sleep is absolutely necessary for the revitalizing of our bodies and minds, I still often wish we didn't have to, especially knowing there is so much to do in life, as well as all the glories of the night sky flowing by us that we're missing when our eyes are closed. ;) Wouldn't it be cool if we could trade off sleep with someone else? So, if you were extra tired, but had a lot of work to do, I could somehow take those sleep hours for you, or vice versa. Wouldn't that be just so handy? ;))

*waves cheerily to Mel and Glenstorm*

Aiden, I'm in the middle of reading The Speckled Band right now and am eager to see how it pans on. Exciting, curious, poignant, intelligent ...

Wow, Queen Susan. That must be the shortest Exchange Student trip ever. ;)) An actor, eh? He could have saved a couple of expensive plane tickets if he had decided this earlier. :P

Did anyone see the launch of shuttle Atlantis today? We watched it online (in real time) and, as always, WOW! I'm reading Apollo 13 now (formerly called Lost Moon) and in watching NASA TV, I'm understanding so much more than I used to, just from remembering phrases explained in the book. Really cool!

Mortereve, all!

Cor: Thanks for the website! :) *goes to look around*

*waves to Mel* 'Tis good to see you again! Oh, and you wrote a poem for Mother's Day? How nice! I've written quite a few poems as well.. but I highly doubt you'd enjoy reading them. ;))

Thank you, Louise the Second! I... think it will be well in time. :)

And mmmm-hmmmm.... we had a FANTASTIC time at Olive Garden. The food was delicious! (Especially the salad and breadsticks. Isn't it terrible? I always fill up on them before the main dish even comes...) :p

*chuckles* I think Glenstorm wrote the part about dating, Nick. ;) But that's fine, only a misquote. ;))

Well, science finals are over, at least. ;) I still have the math and history coming up, but that's okay. They don't last for four days each.

Miss A: I'm doing all right, thank you! Oh, the concerto is... *goes to check*.... Concerto No. 9 in A Minor, Op. 104 (by Bériot). Quite a long name... but it's really awesome. You heard of it?

There's probably some recording of it on youtube. I checked and couldn't find anything of good-quality, but... maybe you'll have better luck! ;))

*waves to sweeetlilgurlie* Helloo! I see you all over the forums and never seem to talk to you, so.... HI! ;)) It's good to see you here.

Am I the only person on NW that actually liked the more funny moments of the film over the sad scenes?! I thought the sad moments were handled masterfully, but I greatly prefered the more upbeat parts of the film.

I have to admit that... I second that. ;))

Four tests and a project? Sounds nasty! I just finished up two final tests for the year and I have one more final before it's over. Other than that, though, I don't have anything else! I hope everything went well. By the time it took me to reply, you're probably already finished with it all.

Yup! Very much so. I finished my science finals this week as well as several additional tests, and I now have just three left! Two next week, and one the week after. :D Hurrah! Isn't it interesting how the school year seems to fly by until the last month or so? And then it just draaaags/ ;)) Blah.

And yes, I did... fairly well on those tests. I think I got a high B+ (which isn't great, but... it's okay for a final). :p

It certainly is a pity, AslansCountry. Well... To clarify, I like onions on and in things. Not raw. ;)) Raw onions just by themselves sound nasty.

Another thing I REALLY like is cilantro! Mmmmm. :D I've met (outside my family) one or two people who love it as well. Now that is sad.

Narnia Girl: Yay! I'm glad the braces aren't too painful. :) Ah, and I see. Only on your middle top teeth? Wow, I've never seen that before!

And yes! I really hope it will work out. My grandparents aren't doing very well (which is why the idea came up), and I haven't seen some of my relatives in over five years. Cool, I hope you can have one too!

*skimming....*

All right, and I'm done! Have a wonderful evening, all. :)

EDIT: Oh, btw... I found this on youtube. SO adorable! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Bmhjf0rKe8

Hello everyone!

Well, there's not much going on, just school edging to the end and the like. And definitely some summer reading being stocked up.

Anywho, I'll catchup:

Yeah, definitely! School seems like it goes by faster each year, huh?
Things are great here, too, but especially busy! Hopefully things will slow down when school finishes.

It certianly does feel like it. But, maybe it's because I look forward to it at the end of summer instead of wishing it was only the beginning of summer. (Not that I don't enjoy vacation, but, "there is a time to have vacation and there is a time to have school" ;)) )
Lol, I hear you! Everything is beginning to slow down here. :P What are your plans for the summer?

@ Ella. Haha! Well, actually the answer to that question might be a page or so long. I pretty much liked everything about it as well, though there were some spots where I thought the editing could have been better. Besides that, it's a great movie!

Lol, I see. ;)) Did you like the score? (My family absolutely loves the track "Married Life")

*waves to Aslans Country* I don't think we've met before. :)

Well, I'll be around. It was a pleasure to drop by.
