lol . It goes well

Yeah! And still no one else has posted in here!
Micah should be here at least! He and I pretty much go on the most .
*sarcastically* You are so very welcome Ali!
BTW is Ali short for Alison (sp?) If you don't mind answering...
I don't mind. It's short for Alissandra. Yeah that's a long name . Most of my friends call me Alissandra but friends on the internet, and acquaintances, call me Ali...b/c it's shorter and easier to say. And I prefer it that way, I wish everyone called me Ali b/c no one can say Alissandra right
.
oh btw, I borrowed Cannons and Heaven and Earth by Phil Wickham from one of my friends and they were both really good! I've had them 1 week and the total plays of his song are 140! I really really like him! I actually wrote a review of Heaven and Earth for my blog http://musical-maiden.blogspot.com/2010 ... -phil.html . Just saying b/c I know you like Phil Wickham's music, seeing you had an avatar of him for aaaaages
.
And you are still the only one in here so Good Night!

Oh, sorry about that. "SquareOnions" is a name for anyone who visits (or used to visit) the Town Square. So yup... you're one yourself now!
Oh yeah, hence the 'square' I was thinking of literally 'square' onions. lol. Anyway, yay! I love onions with a passion.
bwahaha . *repeat* . I want to get Calendar Days too...can't find it where I usually get CDs though...maybe it's on Amazon. I can't get it anytime soon though. Too much money spent! Aaahh! yeah I'm a little hyper today...idk why. Probably still side effects from the concert .
(Hmm. This quote just doesn't look the same without all the smilies, but I'm not putting them all in)
You could always stoop as low as iTunes. I get the attraction of physical CDs though.
Concert? You mean TRS? Wasn't that ages ago?
Just kidding.

I had my last final this morning! (Hurrah!

Congrats!
I have a busy week ahead.. I think. At least now I have TAN's CD to keep me occupied, wish I could play it during classes.
It's even taking away the pain from this huge coldsore on my lip.
I love it already. (not the coldsore) And I'm not even at the end.
Gotta go practice piano.

*hurries into the Square* Wow, it's been almost a week since I've been in here! And now I have my braces on my teeth. My mouth hurt SO bad for the first couple days, but it doesn't bother me much anymore. It still hurts when I try to chew on food, though...oh, and the orphodontist said that once I get my braces off, I'll have to wear a retainer for the rest of my life! Augh, I hate retainers!
Also, yesterday evening I watched the first episode of BBC's Robin Hood! It was playing on TV, and I recorded episodes 1, 2, and 3. I've only had a chance to watch the first one so far, but I love it! Robin and Much are awesome!
Well now, moving on to ketchup...
Hello, Ruby! *waves back* It's good to see you too! I am doing wonderful, thanks. How are you?
NN95, that's cool! John Brooke was one of my favorite characters. Hope the play goes well for you!
QS, your brother says in a week and a half you might be able to chew again?! Thanks, that was real encouraging.
I've taken 6 ibuprofens so far...
*sends a hug to CS and LL*
AslansCountry, I totally understand that. Riley is awesome! He has so many funny lines.
Thank you! Getting my braces on went fairly well, and taking lots of ibuprofen helped get rid of most of the pain.
Miss Rose, I asked my orphodontist, and he said that I'll only have to wear my braces for a year and a half, so I'm pretty excited about that.
I'm doing well, thanks! We visited my grandparents over the weekend. It was nice to see them again.
Aw, thank you! I know, Riley rocks! And yes, I have seen NT2. I liked it even better than the first!

*waves back to Ella* How've you been of late?
Ok whatever you'd like. Or we can talk about something that'd be more controversial
.
Yeah, sometimes debates are no fun when everybody agrees. Maybe you could give your thoughts on creation vs. evolution and/or on war, and if we all agree, then we can look to something more controversial.
*waves to Aslans Country*
Ahh, I see, Nick. That makes sense. And besides, it's still great practice whether you enjoy it or not.
(I would think.)
Very true, it's good experience.
True, true. An important lesson to learn.
Yup, that's life, isn't it?
So how've you been lately?
Now it turns out that I will not be flying back up to Oregon but my Family is going to drive down here... It's all a bit confusing right now...
Yeah, I have been doing about 5 days a week sometimes 6 in really hot weather! It's hard sometimes but good..
I see. Well, I hope it all works out well.
Wow, that's a lot of work! I'm glad you're enjoying it.
I have been doing good thanks, and yourself? I actually have not been watching much of those, I have been so busy! How about you? You done with the first season?
Glad to hear it! I've been well, too. Yeah, true. You probably don't have much spare time, eh?
Yep, I've watched the first season through twice.
Are you talking about me?
![]()
lol, the whole time you've been gone we've been talking about how your being gone is making the Square so slow.
Hey, congrats on your last final, LL! How did the school year go for you?
the orphodontist said that once I get my braces off, I'll have to wear a retainer for the rest of my life! Augh, I hate retainers!
Aw, that's awful! I'm done with braces and have my retainer now, and, honestly, I'd rather have my braces back. Maybe you'll get a permanent retainer, though, in which case it probably won't be so obtrusive in your mouth, and you'll never lose it!
NN95, that's cool! John Brooke was one of my favorite characters. Hope the play goes well for you!
Thanks, the play did go very well!

Oh yeah, hence the 'square' I was thinking of literally 'square' onions. lol. Anyway, yay! I love onions with a passion.
Well, that's not too surprising... I did, too, when I first came. And really? Hurray! There aren't too many people who love onions.
Glad your teeth don't hurt as much anymore, Narnia Girl! Well... retainers aren't that bad... are they?
My orthodontist gave me a whole miniature bottle of ibuprofen when I got my braces on. I never really had to use them, though... I think I might've taken one? Something like that. I never really had much pain from my appliance or braces (except when they tightened them).
A year and a half? Ehh. You've had braces before, though, correct?
Oh, wow. That must have been fun. I haven't seen my grandparents for awhile, but I think we're having a family reunion this summer.
Oh, you did? I personally liked the NT1 better, though the second was great as well. Can't wait until the third comes out!

Yeah, sometimes debates are no fun when everybody agrees. Maybe you could give your thoughts on creation vs. evolution and/or on war, and if we all agree, then we can look to something more controversial.
exactly. Well about creation I believe God created the earth and everything in it in 7 24 hour days. And about war I'm still not sure...I'm a hippie at heart so I wish we had world peace and could talk things out and all that but I know that it's not possible so thus I think that wars are ok if it's for something that's important, like a country attacking us or just helping out another country from it's own government or another country. But I don't think we should have wars over oil and stuff like that. I think that's what you guys were saying too. I have an idea for another topic though!

Good Mortereve everyone! I hope everyone is well?
Yeah, that's a great deal! So, you'd never seen the series when you bought the boxed set? I definitely agree that $50 would be a risky purchase is you weren't sure you were going to like it.
Yes, I hadn't seen the series before I bought the set, although I'm definitely glad I took the chance and did buy it!
(I mean, if it wasn't a good series I probably would have regretted spending even $20.00 on it).
*chuckles at the quote in F2 sig* Have you finished Season 4, yet?
Yes indeed! We started Season 5 this past Sunday evening, and are a grand total of one episode in.
But that one episode was really funny.
How did your play go? I hope it went well!

FF:
Hey! Well--tomorrow we're having the whole church over after--well, church.
Then the day after that I get braces.
And 2 days after that there's a surprise birthday party for our Pastor... He was born 5/5/55, and now he's turning 55, so.. yeah.
Then the next day is piano, 2 days later we're having a sewing class at our house, the next day we're going to my Grandparents for Mother's Day after church, two days later our Foreign Exchange student is coming, the next day is violin lessons, and the list goes on. I'm glad to hear it!
I'm technically done school, as we've finished up our "regular" classes (such as Family Bible "Class" every day) for the summer, but there's probably a few things left to be done...
Yes, I am, actually!
That's so comforting, knowing that God is with us, that is. Makes me feel so much better even when my plate is still insanely full.

FF! Good to see you! *waves back* I'm doing wonderful, thanks! How are you?
Hurray! I'm glad to hear you've been well! I'm doing really well, thanks!
How are the braces working out for you?
School and dance has been going great. I'm a little stressed about music, though. I'm finishing high school in two years and I don't feel like I have the experience or the talent to make music my profession. My schedule is going to be packed next school year, which I'm excited and a little worried about. I'm sure it will all turn out well.
How are you doing?
I will be praying!
Have you gotten any answers about the music thing yet? I'm pretty good, thanks! Really enjoying the spring/early summer weather, although lately it's been kind of...cold. >_>

Anyway... I'm quitting twitter and a couple other sites that I used to visit a lot, so I'll probably be on NarniaWeb much more now Since you guys are, I've concluded, the best group of people on all of the internet.
All righty... I will come back later! Good to be here again!
*two very familiar figures enter the Square discussing how long it's been since they stopped by*
Mortereve all! Sorry for disappearing there after my birthday.... Various stuff came up and I kept meaning to stop by, but never got around to it. Well, know I'm here and will be making a much overdue catch-up post.
Oh yes, before I begin I have a few pieces of news to share:
1. I finally saw Up over the weekend!!! The Royal Family agrees it is now one of our favorite films.
2. Saw Avatar over the weekend as well. I posted a full review of it in the Past Movie thread over in SO, sooo..... Hinty hint, hint.
3. Twilight Zone: the Movie arrived in the mail yesterday!!!!
This was a late birthday present from KingLune, so I've been eagerly awaiting it's arrival. There will be a review of the album posted on my Blog sometime in the not so distant future.

*waits to be recognized* Otherwise, would I have to go through a Square initiation all over again?
![]()
And thanks! I hope so too!
![]()
Haha! No, I don't think we even have a Square initiation.... Nasty things they are. Makes one late for dinner.
I first read that as cooking marshmallows and spam together...like sort of a spam s'more, perhaps?
And then I realized they were cooked separately. At least, I hope so...

*gags* Yuck! That would be most disgusting and disturbing! Oh yes, cooked separately and at different times.

I'm sorry to add to the already sugar-filled day, but we thought you would like them. I'm glad they have your approval!

That was perfectly fine, I made sure not to over do it. Oh, they mostly certainly met and exceeded my approval!
Thanks again!
Yes, we knew we couldn't let you down after we had said that we were going to give you one! Notice that we decided against the ruffle...

Thanks for deciding against the ruffle.

While I'm not familiar with the pop songs you cover, I was very impressed with your covers of LotR and Narnia. Great work!
Have you ever listened to or thought of covering any of the music from Legends of the Fall?

Whew! I figured this would be a long catch-up post.... *munches on his apple before posting*

Good, we agree about creation. Though, there are so many debatable aspects I'll bet we could find some point to argue.
About war... I feel bad for true hippies and the like that look to all of the wrong solutions for peace. For true peace, there's only Jesus Christ. War is a part of life and self-defense.

So, that's the end of this section, if I'm not mistaken, but we can go on to the conversation between Abigail and Mitch. I can't remember how that starts, so if you want to go on you'll have to start it.
There are two more lines in that scene. "It's just temporary until I find a new place." I'll let you do the next one.
I'm not entirely sure how the next conversation starts either, so I'll have to watch it again.
"Nobody's gonna die. There's another way out!" NT1. (Sure...

Ok, sounds good!
I still haven't listened to any more...Sorry! I keep forgetting until I'm catching up.
Actually, I just finished it last night. But, for some reason, MerlinJunkie has only uploaded the first episode of season two, and the last three parts of the last episode. Weird!
That is weird! Have they uploaded any more yet?
Actually, I don't think even clicking the quote button retains the formatting. Well, it was pretty easy to do by pressing the "font color" button.
I'll go see...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DJAQ!!!!!!! Ah, it does work. I clicked "quote" and then copied and pasted the color codes that were there.
Am I nervous? Well, sitting here in front of my computer I'm not nervous. I think the time most people are nervous is the few seconds right before they go onstage.
Well, perhaps that wasn't the right way to phrase my question. I meant it more like...Are you apprehensive about the performance or do you feel well prepared? Anyway, since the play has happened now, it doesn't really matter. I'm glad to hear that it went well!
Yeah, I know! Fortunately, it was a Friday night and I didn't have to get up for anything.
Yes, Friday nights are the best for posting late (or just staying up late in general).
Thanks, Djaq! Yes, I have had braces before, but only on four of my top teeth. This time I'm getting them on all my teeth...
Oh, and that is SO cool that you and flam got your ears pierced!!Congrats!
Ah, okay. Just think about the perfect teeth that you will have at the end!
< like that.
So you have your braces on now?
Thanks! My ears hurt every so often now, but other than that, they're really nice.
Yes, and she's actually very good about helping me clean up and our room is usually in pretty good order.
It seems I missed your birthday.
Do you take late well wishes? Or are the shipping fees extremely high when you're late?
That's good!
I have consulted with the postmaster and he has agreed to let you ship your belated wishes at a much lower rate than he usually allows people to do. So, there is no harm in sending them late.
Well, I take down the information of who's in what play, what props are needed, extra notes the director has, being on-book, and things like that.
Oh, how fun! What are you planning to sew?
That sounds really neat! Are you enjoying it?
At that point, I was making an apron...and I'm about to start working on another one. It's a really cute pattern (I'm making the one in the middle).
Welcome back, Ben! It's great to have you back! How are you doing?
And, another welcome back to Lady L!! Congratulations about your last final!
Yay!
Also, yesterday evening I watched the first episode of BBC's Robin Hood! It was playing on TV, and I recorded episodes 1, 2, and 3. I've only had a chance to watch the first one so far, but I love it! Robin and Much are awesome!
That's great! Another Robin Hood fan!
And how is life for you? Anything new?
Life is going really well! Things are not really busy at the moment, but this weekend will be rather hectic. On Thursday, flam and I are going to take a CPR class with one of our sisters. We're going to spend the weekend out at my sister's house (she lives an hour away and she's close to where the class is being held) because her husband will be out of state and she would be by herself otherwise. It should be fun! On Saturday, my parents are going to my other sister's house (three hours away) to work on some tiling that needs to be done. After that, I'm not sure what we're going to do. What about you?
KAT!!! It's great to see you here again! I haven't talked to you in...a long time!
How are you doing?
And you're the first person I'm quoting again! Hmm, this is starting to became a trend....
You're right; it is. I won't be first in your next post though; Aiden posted above me.
*puts away fan and girly like act* Vern tells me I do that too well. Perhaps I should stop...
Quite welcome!
I'm just glad I know enough about movies to tell you were the quotes come from instead of simply saying "Uhh, some movie we like..."

Um, yeah, I think that you should stop.
It is very useful knowledge to have.
You'll be glad to know that Vern was very nice to me on my birthday.
*Yes, but I made up for it on Saturday.

*
I am very pleased to hear that!
Vern...what did you do?
Congrats! You're getting two separate segments of my catch-up post!
![]()
Whoa, thank you!
That was perfectly fine, I made sure not to over do it.
Oh, they mostly certainly met and exceeded my approval!
Thanks again!
![]()
Well, that is very good. Why, thank you!
And, you are welcome!
Thank... you. *clears throat* It's as lovely as I was expecting it to be.

Thanks for deciding against the ruffle.
*Aye, it does!
*
I can tell that you really like it.
And you are very welcome for the lack of rufflyness (which isn't a word, but it is now since I said it.
).
That's all for me. Please excuse anything that I may have missed.
Mortereve all!

Mortereve, all!
First of all and MOST important... *trumpet blast*... HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my fantastic sister!
I doubt you'll ever read this... but, if you do, feel special that I'm including you in this post.
Love you lots-and-lots! And wow... twenty? Goodness, you're getting old.
Oh, you're learning French, Winter? I took it for a semester. Terrible experience. Well actually, I think the language is awesome... I just had no talent for it and the teacher stunk.
But anyway. How long have you been learning it? Do you speak any other languages as well?
Two more weeks 'till school's out!
Hurrah! Just.... two... more.... I can survive.
*reads with interest the brief evolution/creation and war discussions between Glenstorm and Nick* Hm.
Oh, you're so fortunate, Fanny. I'm in the midst of finals! (Some of them, that is. More are still on the way...) *sigh*
But hey, God is right here with me! I find that comforting during... stress. (As well as other times, of course! Right now I especially appreciate it.)
*waves to Miss Aravis* Hellooo!
*blinks* Wow. Did I really.... *blinks again* Did I really just see quotes in Cor's post? Wow. Amazing!
Yay for watching Up! And I really, really enjoyed reading the review for Avatar you posted on facebook earlier (I just never got around to commenting). It was helpful to hear your perspective. Thanks!
Oh, and... *ahem*... could you possibly give me the website to your blog again? I'm afraid I've forgotten.
You were missed at the celebration.
Hmm, or should that be ---->:( No, I think--- >
is better.
Thank-you. I'll be sure to make it next time.
It went very well! Probably one of our best plays yet.
Wow, that's great! Glad to hear.
That's definitely one thing I enjoyed about homeschooling. No finals. We had little bits here and there, but it wasn't a huge series of tests to stress out about.
Oh dear!

I will keep praying. When is the program going to be?
Aw, thank you so much! Well, the recital is on May 23rd. (Or somewhere around there.) I'm definitely not going to be performing. My teacher said I can still come to hear the others play, though, which I'm excited about. Evidently, I can also take summer lessons and finish up the concerto. She'll have another recital in late-summer, and I can perform there.
Annnndd.... that concludes my catch-up post! I hope you all have a splendid evening! I'm off to a birthday trip to Olive Garden, and then... studying. For finals. Wish me luck!
Tchau!

Mortereve everyone!
;)) Yes, it is.
How are things going for you?

Lol . Um, pretty good. School's still kinda hectic but I got a CD in the mail today! TAN's new CD! I preordered it so I got some extra stuff but I was a little upset b/c they sent me a size XL shirt instead of M
. Oh well
. The CD is really good though
.
*waves to Kat* wow I didn't even know you ever went in the sqaure . Wait you're quitting twitter! Why, if you don't mind me asking?
Good, we agree about creation. Though, there are so many debatable aspects I'll bet we could find some point to argue.
About war... I feel bad for true hippies and the like that look to all of the wrong solutions for peace. For true peace, there's only Jesus Christ. War is a part of life and self-defense.
What's your idea for another topic?
I suppose we could
Yes Jesus Christ is the only source for true peace, but unfortunately most people don't believe so.
Dating! I've had several conversations about this and most didn't go too well but I figure since we're all friends here it should be ok
*waves to Cor* how are you?
My brother gave me the Celtic Woman "Songs from the Heart" CD for my birthday! I had been wanting it and looking at buying it, so I was really excited.
![]()
That would be great! (about the song recommendations)
Oh wow! I want that CD too! I almost bought it for my friend b/c it's her birthday this month but they didn't have it where I normally buy CDs so I got her this instead http://www.christianbook.com/aaron-shus ... em_code=WW
Ok I've only heard one of their CDs but these are the songs I really liked
Heartland
The Mountains of Mourne
The Voyage
Come by the Hills
Steal Away
The Island
Brothers in Arms
Cal/Local Hero
Lauren and I
Ireland's Call
Puppy Love (my dad hates this song )
Yes, flam is a great graphic designer!
