*comes into the Square and makes her way over to the bench by the fountain to sit down*

I just got home from painting my Grandma's kitchen, so I'm a wee bit tired, but her kitchen looks a whole lot better, so it's all good. ;) :D
How are you all?? I'm having a half busy/half slow week...which means that 3 and a half of the days will be busy and the other 3 and a half will be slow? 8-} I don't know...Like I said, I'm tired. :P

Thank you!!! We know one or two families who have done it, but I never expected us to. :p :) It'll take a LOT of getting used to I think--for me at least... And I really appreciate your prayers. :)

I think that one of my Mom's friends' family had a foreign exchange student for a semester or so, but I'm not sure... Mmhmm, it sounds like it will be a big change. :) I will definitely be praying! :)

Some of my favorite Josh Groban songs? Hm... "Don't Give Up", "When You Say You Love Me", "Oceano", "You Raise Me Up", "Remember When It Rained", "L' Ultima Notte" (spell? ;)) ), "Awake", and a quite a few others. ;)) I can't remember the names probably since they're in a different language. ;)

Ooh, good choices! :D "Remember When It Rained" is one of my very favorites! I also really like "Si Volvieras a Mi" (sp?)!

^ That was all typed up last night...Then I had to take a break and go eat supper. While I was eating, a friend of mine (she's also a neighbor) called and asked if I wanted to go for a bike ride. So I did and it was loooong. I'm very sore today! :P Anyway, now I shall resume my catch up post... :D

Heehee! I like to think of myself as generous, especially when it comes to sharing my laundry all over mine and my sister's room. :P I guess I could refrain from that too...

Haha! That is a very noble thing, I'm sure, but I'm not so sure that she appreciates it. ;) :P

That's great, Djaq! I guess we started school a little later this year, so we're getting out later also. Ah well.

Aww! I hope that it "goes quickly" for you! Not that it will actually go any faster since I said that, but it might feel like it... ;))

*sends a wave and a hug to Lady L*!

Hello, Lady A!! Lovely to have you grace us with your presents....er, presence. ;)

Welcome to the Square, Aslans Country!! :) It's lovely to have you join us!

Thanks! :) Yes, it is. :) I'd love to join Team Hoodie! :) Is there any characters that are left to be "picked"? (Or mayhaps I can be Guy on the Team Hoodie? :D He's one of my favourite RH characters, not because I'm a fan gurl, but because his inward struggles between good and evil are fascinating. If you, ahem, don't want a bad guy on the team, I'm quite alright with that. ;) ;)) )

Great! :D Ahhh, we hadn't even thought of Guy...good idea! We'd love for you to be him! :)

*pounces on Winty* Welcome back! :D

*waves to stargazer*

Cool- do you like Celtic Thunder?

Hmm, I have heard of them but I haven't looked up any of their music. Are they good?

ok, I might get some graphics to match ;)

I see that you have found some. You look great! ;) I love the sig you're using!

"Laboule!" (That was an easy one!)

"Laboule!! ...What is that?" (Very! ;)) )

lol! "You disappoint me, Ben!" ;))

"I'm surprised that Gilbert could even insult you." Anne of Green Gables. That fits, right? ;))

No, indeed! (Yes, I will!)

Yes! And, no, you won't. :P

Oh, man, that's how far back you are? In that case, I won't feel so guilty for not having read that paper yet. ;))
I really don't remember anything from those episodes. So, if there's anything interesting you want to discuss, you'll have to bring it up.

In that case, I'll just skip some of the episodes, and listen to the most recent one/ones. :)

Ah, so 99s of times? ;)) Wow, that is a lot!

Yeah, roughly. ;) ;)) Yep! So, naturally, I can quote most of the episodes. :P

I don't think I said that. Maybe you're telepathic. ;)) :P

Haha, maybe I am. :P ;))

Wow, you've been posting a lot lately!

Yep! I am trying to get better at it. ;) :)

*skims...*

Congrats! You're the first person on my catch-up list. :D ;)

Why, thank you! I am very honored! :D ;)

Welcome. :) Good! It's an apple from the Royal orchard that has been hand dipped in the Royal kitchen. :)

Aha, well it is excellent! :)

*fans face with a.... fan* Oh? Well, fiddle dee dee.... (BTW, I'm completely, fully and in all other ways kidding) :p

I suppose I can be persuaded to enlighten you on this subject... ;) The first quote is from Son of Paleface, an old Bob Hope movie. The second one is from the classic 1982 film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. :)

*laughs* (I'm sure you are ;) )

Thank you! ;)) That helps.

Yeah, Vern gave me a good ribbing for posting that.... One of the problems with having a pet/friend that talks.... ;)

*AHEM! I can hear you quite well, Cor. [-( *

......... :-ss

I'm sure he did! ;) Now, Vern, be nice to him...just this once...His birthday is tomorrow, you know. ;)

Djaq!! It's fabulous to see you too! Well, not "see" you, but see you, as in see your writing...enyhoo.
"You could indeed." :)) "Come now, Uncle Jack, shake your brother's hand!"

Jojo!! It is absolutely stupendous to see you here! Aha, I quite understand about the "see" thing. Same here!
LOL! I LOVE that line (the "You could indeed.")! ;)) "What a charming boy. I like his hair so much."
LOL!

*reads through Cor's post* Wow!! Thank you sooo much!!! :D I am VERY honored! And thank you muchly for the treats! They look delicious!

And most importantly, I hope Djaq has a wonderful day!

I have had a wonderful day today so far! And it has been even better from the wishes I have received on NarniaWeb!

Hey, it's Djaq's birthday, eh? HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DJAQ!!!!!!!

Thank you so much!! :D Wow, I love all of the colors!
EDIT: I forgot to write this in red. ;)) *changes it*

*gasps* DJAQ!!!! It's your birthday?? :D Happy birthday, then!!!! ;)) :D Hope you have a fantastically super-duper wonderful day!!!! :D :D

Aww, thank you SO much!!! I have met so many wonderful people on NWeb!!

Okay...I'm off for a bit. :D

Edit: NN: I'm kind of around, but have to go eat dinner. :p So not really.

lol, so basically not. ;))

"Laboule!! ...What is that?" (Very! ;)) )

"It's a 'who'. Edward Laboule. Where's the phone?"

"I'm surprised that Gilbert could even insult you." Anne of Green Gables. That fits, right? ;))

"Come on, Romeo, get outta here." NT1 (Well, it fits as well as mine... ;)) )

Yes! And, no, you won't. :P

Blah, I give up. You win. ;) :P (This is a first! ;)) )

In that case, I'll just skip some of the episodes, and listen to the most recent one/ones. :)

Naw, go ahead and listen to them all! BTW, I read that paper on music. It's very good! Thanks again for scanning/sending it. :)

Yeah, roughly. ;) ;)) Yep! So, naturally, I can quote most of the episodes. :P

lol, I see. Yeah, I'll bet you can. MerlinJunkie has started uploading Season 2, so I'll start watching it when I finish watching through Season 1 again. :D

Thank you so much!! :D Wow, I love all of the colors!
EDIT: I forgot to write this in red. ;)) *changes it*

If you love all the colors, why didn't you color them again in the quote? :P lol, you should have seen what it looked like all written out in my post with all the color codes. ;))

Too-tut-too! A little Miss of the Square has herself a celebration today!! :D HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DJAQ!! :-! I ordered a clown to come entertain you: :o) **snicker**
I hope your cake makes you drool!! =p~ **teehee**
And I hope you have a simply all-around fantastic day! :-bd It's a beautiful day for a birthday here...I hope it's there too! :D

Aye, it's absolutely superfantastical to see your avatar. (There we go! I get to "see" the avatar!)
I do too. Jack's face is soooooo stern. LOL! "Do not cough, Earnest. When one is dictating, one must speak clearly and not cough." :))

Big hey to the rest of ya! :D **waveth**

Queen Susan, I hope you enjoy the performance tonight! My brother and his friend are going to it. :D Wish I could... Yay for iPods! They save my life daily. =] Make that "hourly". Lol, many a household job is easier because of music.
Hmm, nope, nothing's new with me. I might be going to a play tomorrow night with a friend. Workin' all day Saturday...Babysitting tomorrow too. =] That's about it.

Nutty, I can see that fancy font sure as I can see the back of my hand! Thanks, it satisfied my want of a fancy font. ;)
Well, it's appalling when the director is too lackadaisical. The director I worked with was rather strict on certain things, but not the important things. *shrugs*
Yes, opening night...when the curtain is about to go up, and suddenly, all of your lines are Zip! out of your head. ;) Well, I'm sure you'll do your utmost to play him well.

Of course I was taught not to compromise!! Who do you take me for? I believe I will retract all of my previous statements and close this argument with you. For, as far as I am concerned, Chocolate-lovers way outnumber you, and I quote Calvin Coolidge: "You lose". [-( [-(
(hehehehehehe)

Do you HONESTLY think that sushi (seaweed) is better than chocolate? (sweet and creamy) You're nuttier than I thought! Ha!

Gotta skitter...Ttyl!

Nutty, I can see that fancy font sure as I can see the back of my hand! Thanks, it satisfied my want of a fancy font. ;)

lol, it's really simple. Just type a code like a color code or a quote code: But, replace the * with the name of a font. I'm not sure if all fonts are fair game, but I tried several and they all seemed to work.

Mmm, true. Don't tell her so, but when someone steps out of line, even in the slightest, our director does perhaps go over the top. Ah well, it's not mine to say.
Eek, I'm getting the nervous twitches just thinking about it. (Not really, that would be quite strange.) As is always the case this time of year, I dreamt last night that we were putting on the play. Those dreams are always the worst, because something inevitably goes wrong, and I near have a heart attack. Usually I get them after we've done the play, which isn't so bad.

Well, good! I'm glad. I leave you with two thoughts. First, being outnumbered does not make one wrong. Was Columbus wrong when he was one of the few to think that the world was round? Was Galileo wrong when he was one of the few to realize there were more than a few thousand stars? Secondly, a common principle in debating is that the first person to get upset loses. The defense rests. (Have I been watching too much Perry Mason lately? ;)) )

Do you HONESTLY think that sushi (seaweed) is better than chocolate? (sweet and creamy) You're nuttier than I thought! Ha!

Well, I've never tried sushi, so I can't HONESTLY say which I like better. I could tell you what I would predict, but I think you know that already. ;))

*peeks shyly into the Square* Hello, guys! Does anyone remember me? It's been ages since I've been in here.

Wow, I see the Square is as busy as always! How is everyone doing?

Today's Djaq's birthday? :D Happy birthday, Djaq!! Hope you're having a fantastic day!

Well, not much has been going on for me lately...but I'm getting braces on my teeth next week. *moans* Not looking forward to it...

Has anyone seen the movie How to Train Your Dragon? :) I saw it the day it came out, and, being the huge, crazy dragon fan that I am, I absolutely loved it...can't wait till it comes out on DVD!

Well...mortereve all! (Man, it feels like I haven't said that in ages! :p )

*enters the Square full of energy because....*

I have a week off schoool!!
Yes, in my current state of life, that is cause for such celebration. :p

*waves to Aslans Country* Welcome to the Square! You've completely got the idea of the place.

*waves*
Why thank you. :) :p

Welcome!!! How've you been?

Great! And you? :) Congrats on becoming a 'Welcomer'. (even though I don't have much idea what that means. )

I actually already have most of Do You Feel. And I made a mistake. It's actually the exclusive edition and they only have it on iTunes. I just looked it over and it's only one bonus song actually, and it's a cover. I don't want to buy the actual CD and the digital copy too (since the song is album only) but I found it on Amazon MP3 for 99 cents so I'll just buy the regular CD and buy the MP3.

Ah.. I see. I.. think? *tries to get her brain around the paragraph above* :p

Aslans Country, welcome to the Town Square! It's the place of chat and all other utterances of nonsense that you might have.

Thanks :) Great, I love nonsense. ;)

And I have to say that I love your avatar!! And I love that song!! I'm really excited about the new TAN album coming out in May.

Thanks. :D (I still can't get over how creepy this smiley is)
TAN+Narnia=perfect. :p
Less thank 2 weeks left. ;)

*waves to Aslans Country* Hey! Welcome to the Town Square! I'm Miss Rosario, better known as Rose, Rosa, or Miss R. It's great to meet you!

*waves back* Thank you :) And you too.
I see. Too many namessss!!!! :-o :-o
Just kidding. You must excuse my strangeness.

Welcome to the Square, Aslans Country!! It's lovely to have you join us!

Thank you And Happy Birthday!

*waves to Narnia Girl*
Hi. :) It's nice to meet you. That is, if you.. er, want to meet me. :p

Do I hear talk of sushi?!
In my mind, chocolate and sushi will be forever equal, and I will eagerly defend the goodness that is sushi. ;) But that's because I've grown up in sushi's homeland. :p

A breathless runner from a Certain Castle runs breathlessly into the Square, baring...er, bearing a Royal Proclamation...

*nabs a flagon full of ice-cold cranberry juice (and a chocolate or two from the Tree) and slips out again* Nice announcement, O King Lune. :) *pokes Lady Amalthea to be careful not to fall into the fountain today on this grand occasion of your son's birthday*

*Lady Amalthea enters the Square, followed by several fauns carrying trays*

Thank you Nigel. Just put the trays on the tables the centaurs set up. Arrange them as you like; you always do such a lovely job. You're such an artist!

To all the Square Onions, it would please me most wonderfully if you would partake in the refreshments that are here in honor of Prince Cor's birth. I tried to make sure that everyone's favorite food was prepared.

*A shadowy figure flies into the Square, carrying a large barrel*

Oh, thank you Vern! Please put the barrel of Virgil's root beer by the ice chest with all of the other drinks. Yes, near the flagons.

Now, I must be getting back to the castle to finish preparing for this day of celebration. I hope you all enjoy and I'm sure Prince Cor will stop by later. He's such a late sleeper, just like *coughmecough*

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, COR!!!!! :D :) ;) :- ;;) :p :-o B-) =; =)) 8-} :D

I brought a present and cookies!! (homemade chocolate chip...made by flambeau and myself) :D They weren't made in a castle kitchen, but I hope they are satisfactory. :D

*waves to Narnia Girl* Hey, good to see you back around!

My, my I see there's a party taking place! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BENNETT!!!!! I hope it's a great day filled with... soundtracks?

For anyone with whom I was discussing our play, the two performances are a week from last night and tonight, and, despite not being officially labeled as such, tonight we be sort of a "final draft". Pretty much a dress rehearsal, but we won't have quite all of our props and such. Next Tuesday is the real dress rehearsal, and then the play! :D

What's this? A post without quotes?! Well, despite the flurry of posts, there's very little to catch up on! Mortereve all!

*The Prince (aka "Birthday Boy" for today) and the Royal Dragon enter the Square and head for the refreshments*

This looks AMAZING!! :D I've had to smell the great aromas drifting through the palace for the last few hours, so it's great to finally be able to partake of what I've been smelling being cooked.

*Cor and Vern help themselves to a flagon of root beer (thanks KingLune), a slice each of Fender guitar cake (thanks to Jo) and finally grab a few morsels from the dessert table brought by the deer dear royal mother, Lady A*

Oh.... wow. Everything is quite delicious! Thanks greatly to Jo, Mom and of course the cooks who helped my Royal Mother prepare the refreshments. :D *takes a swig of root beer* And of course, thank you Father for allowing us to partake of the Royal Root Beer cellar. :D

*After taking a sip from his flagon... Tis all very delicious! Thank you greatly to everyone who helped prepare the food! :D

*Ahem* Cor, do try to behave yourself with the root beer this time. We don;t want another Capt. Cor incident.... ;) *

We don't? :-

*No, we don't.*

--------------------------

@ King Lune, Father of the "birthday boy". Ah yes, the cake.... well, er... ymwhisle Vern told me it was truly an accident. Seems someone was seasoning some of the meat for tonight and Vern caught a whiff of black pepper.

*Terribly sorry, Father of Cor's. It wont happen again! Next time I'll try to aim away from the cake. :) *

@ Jo. Eeek! A Stratocaster birthday cake! Thank you! Thank you!!! :D :D Thank you for the kind birthday wishes (both here and on FB). It has been a pleasure getting to know you and all the other members of this great forum over the years.

*has obviously arrived after being summand by pokes* ;)

@ Djaq. Yay! You made it!! :D Cookies? Homemade?? You really shouldn't have, but who am I to say no? ;) :p *samples one of the cookies* Oh wow... I'm going to have sugar overload by tonight if people keep bringing great desserts... :p

*opens his present from Djaq* Oh, a... dress? :- No, wait, it's.... The Apron. :-o *holds it up in-front of himself* So, you and Sweeet actually went through with it, eh? Well, thank you. *bows*

*Marvelous job, Djaq! It's so.... Cor! :) ;) *

@ NN. Thanks NN! You're actually not too far off from the truth. I'm hoping to "borrow" KingLunes sound system later today and listen to some soundtracks. :)

----------------------

*After finishing his flagon* Ahh, this has been a great beginning to my birthday day! :D I'll be around off and on all day, though now I need to head off for a bit.

Thank you again for the birthday wishes, presents and sweets! :D

*Cor and Vern exit the Square, being sure to grab another chocolate chip cookie from the Mod Sisters and refilling their flagons before they leave*
