Good Mortereve! Warm and cozy slipper to all! I would judge that right about now all my American friends are sitting down at their computers with a cup of hot chocolate. :p Not. :) How is everyone doing today? It's bright clear morning over here, birds chirping and a gentle breeze floating through the trees. Lovely isn't it?

*Quotes Djaq about all things 'Team Hoodie'*

Do you have to see the series before you can join? ;;) I was wondering cause if not I may join.....if I'm aloud. I like lot's of Rrobin hood things, and I plan to watch the BBC versions if they ever come on.

Reads posts where people have answered your "square survey"

Thanks to all who answered! :D I can't say I learned much :p LoL. No, thank you again to all who answered!

Checks her Rp posts and updates while becoming increasingly worried about the crashing train noises that she can hear a half a mile away

I'm afraid I have fully intertwined myself in the life of Ditto town. I'm now invovled in three (I hope busy ) Rp's and am waiting approval for one. I'm enjoying them to the fulliest, but wondering what will happen when I go on vacation.... 8-| Anyway! ;) I hope all you fellow writers can bear with my slowness. I tend to be rather slow to post when I am busy with other things.

On a different note I want to ask: Have anyone here seen the movie Merlin? It's going to be on one of the channels in our package and I'm always craving for knew exciting fantasy movies. Me and my brother would really like to watch it, but I wanted to check up on the nature of the film first. Considering I have never seen it before.

Checks her spelling and moves onto the next subject this is nagging at her mind

I'm planning on reading they Attolia series. Some of my Narniaweb friends were talking about the series in the chat box only a few days ago, and I inquired about it. They told me I really should read it and I plan to with my next trip to the Library. Though they only gave my a brief description it still sounds awesome and I'm looking forward to it.

Takes a deep breath and smiles

I believe that's all for me this morning. I must go get some "Num Nums"

Mortereve, all!
*bypasses the chocolate tree and takes something from the apple tree, lest she should spoil her appetite*

Oh no, did I disturb you? I thought that despite tripping, I cleared you with enough space that you wouldn't feel the effects of my klutziness. I am very sorry! *makes note to herself to LOOK before popping next time*

Oh, not at all! It takes perhaps a tree falling to wake me up, so I just slightly felt your presence with your trip. Aheehee.

Thank-you! Yes, weren't the stars loverly last night here in the Square? Maybe we could grow a telescope tree and water it with telescope-polishing substance so it's the very best kind? :D

Ah, I can see why. I hope it's as pain free and unstressful as possible for you, dear!

Aw, thank you! Yes, indeed! They just seem to be beckoning you to jump in and go off on a splendid adventure.

Mhm! A nice, old-fashioned sort of adventure with all sorts of pleasures and perils waiting ahead. And perhaps to land in a place with Munchkins who love the colour green. ;))

D'aw, thanks! Hm, yes, now that you mention it...it does bear resemblence to Attolia! :) Somehow it reminds me of Sounis' castle but I've always imagined his a bit less ethereal but more fortress-kind. I imagine probably Eddis' palace this way, with the trees and all; I need a reread to imagine Attolia's castle, because I sped past descriptions to find out what would happen. ;))

*waves to Becca* Well, I'm more sitting in front of the computer with some tea. ^_^ How've you been?

Well, I should be out to go get ready for piano classes in half an hour. I'll be back maybe later in the day! :)

Uh.. I'm not even gonna attempt to read that many pages! (especially since I don't remember how many I've been away) Sorry, dear ones!

Anyway, thought I'd pop in and let you know I haven't died. Though my characters are probably trying to make me... you should see the endless slew of information they send at me daily! #:-s =))

How are all of you doing?
I'm alright, I suppose. Some things good, others bad. But that's life, right? :p
Though, if you could... would you pray I get my sleeping pattern back on track? It's been off for MONTHS, and is really having an impact on things. Oh, and some of my books that I want on my shelves are lost too. So if you could pray about that, I'd be ever grateful. Thanks!

I'll probably stick around for awhile, but don't be surprised if I get distracted. Hope I get a chance to chat with some of you!

...hours later...
Seriously, what is with this? Every time I have time to stop in and chat, the place is as dull as tombs... I disappear, and everyone shows up. What gives? /:) Don'tcha like me anymore? :p

Mortereve! :)

I think that our tastes are different. ;)) You seem like you have a wide variety of bands that you like. ;))

Goodness! That's a big baby! ;))

Lol, yeah I listen to many different kinds of...rock :p . Jk I'll listen to almost anything.

Yep. :p

I know, right? Does he seriously care more about painting than about the entire well-being of the Square? /:) :P

it's very selfish of him [-( :p .

lol, I see. So, how many DVDs per month do you guys get? Is the online stuff unlimited?

Our DVDs and the online stuff are both unlimited. With the DVDs we can only have one at a time though. So we have to wait in between movies for shipping.

*waves back and drops a curtsy* I do very well, thank you. :) And yourself?

I'm well besides that I have a cold :| . I have a sore throat and a runny nose but besides that I'm fine, as in I'm in a good mood :) :p .

That's by The Rocket Summer, right? I take it you're a fan of their music? :)

Yep! I'm a HUGE fan :D . Just saw Bryce in concert last week :) . Best concert I've been to :D . Do you like his music? That's actually him on my av and sig :D .

*wanders in, breathing in the fragrant scent of flowers*

Mmmm. A big thank-you to the SquareOnion who came up with the idea of planting flowers along the Square's entrance! ;) They are absolutely lovely and add a nice, welcoming touch.

Catching up:

Yeah, Djaq, I was sick all last week with some kind of flu. I think I'm finally over it, though. :) Thanks for the well wishes!

*wonders absentmindedly what 'Team Hoodie' is* I'm sure it's been explained here numerous times, but I'm too lazy to go search the threads. :p

*waves to Bella* Hello to you as well! Eh, I'm sorry to hear about your troubles with school. Sounds kind of like me. I've been having some difficulties as well, and unfortunately I tend to dwell only on the negative aspects of life. But. There are so many reasons to be happy, as well! In fact, they often outdo the unfavorable ones, when you come to think of it. Glorious weather, scented flowers, painted sunsets, spectacular mountains... It makes one feel pretty small, but important all the same that our Great Creator would design all this just for us! ;)

Anyway. Sorry to ramble on so.

Oh! And I almost forgot to say how much I like your avatar. It's lovely! It reminds me of a storybook full of adventure and imagination. :) Did you make it?

I hope the recital goes well! :) What piece are you playing?

Thank you! I'm terribly nervous already. And, uh.... *runs to double-check*... It's Concerto No. 9 in A Minor, Op. 104, written by Charles de Bériot. Kind of a long name... :p But it's a really, really beautiful piece. Difficult, but beautiful. There's probably a recording of it online somewhere. I've looked, but the only ones I could find were played either very badly or incorrectly.. ://

Thank you so much for the well wishes! I'm feeling quite better now.

*waves to lover or narnia* Hey! I don't think we've met. (I haven't been around here in ages!) I'm Rose, Rosa, Miss R... whatever you prefer. :)

Heh, I've been wanting to read the Attolia series as well for a long time, but never got around to it. :p Hopefully I'll be able to check them out from the library in one of the next several weeks.

*waves to Anna* Nice to see you again!

Anyway, thought I'd pop in and let you know I haven't died.

That's quite relieving to know! :// How is your story coming along? Are you still working on it?

And sure, I'll keep your sleeping trouble in my prayers.

You're sick as well, Glenstorm? Eh, I'm sorry. Get well soon!

*finishes her catch-up with a sigh and collapses onto a square bench, looking up at the square trees above her before slowly drifting off.... to.... sleep.....* (-|

Hello, hello, hello!!! *bounces up and down* Last night was so, so fun!!! *breaks into song* I could have danced all night, I could have danced all night....
Okay, well a lot of you want to know about the night in detail, so here goes. I went over to a friend's house before the prom. A group of us were meeting early; we had a formal dinner, and hung out for an hour, then headed over to the party! The first hour or so was contra dancing. Fun, fun! Then we did "normal" dancing, until I was exhausted... The cold thingy didn't help. :P So one really nice guy kept me company. I got to meet a lot of new people. T'was fun! :D

Yay! :D We're soo glad to have you join! Yes, actually, there is a very tough initiation that you must go through first. . . Only kidding. We'll let you be a member without it. :D ;)

Yeah, you should have to watch all the shows like 10 times or something ;)) Heh, I don't even think I've seen all of the episodes once. :P

How's Script Frenzy going for vous? =]

Very well. :) I have 61 pages. I'm a bit behind on my personal schedule, because I haven't written for the past two days. But hey, I've got the rest of Sunday...

Hehe, interesting dream, Bent. :P

It's good to see you too! :D You're going to prom? How fun! I'd love to see pictures (at least of your dress)! ;)

Becca, Attolia is awesome! Tell us how you are enjoying it. :)

Well...I guess I'll leave you guys with one photo of me. :) http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/hs450.ash1/24787_114440751909327_100000302089202_167418_1210065_n.jpg

Mortereve all!

Lol, that is kind of interesting/amusing, Nick. :p

'Tis interesting! So, how have you been of late?

Well, they don't really break up...Marian just gets mad at Guy and there's a bit of a rift between the two.

Oh, I see. Yeah, I suppose that's a good point.

"Grandpa heard his father say "treasure map"...then there was a commotion." When I turned our Blu-Ray player on, it was already at that part of the movie. We're getting used to this. ;))

"Ok, I've got all that. Was there anything after that? Anything he said? Something he did? Anything at all?"
Ah, cool. Yeah, I think we have the hang of this. ;) (That's awesome you have a Blu-ray player, BTW!)

"I would never sass you, Grandma!" Princess Diaries 2.
It wasn't too bad. ;)) I enjoyed reading through all of the conversations. (Of course you won't!!!!!!!)

"Why do I get the feeling you're lying?" (That's in the special features of NT2. Sorry for the obscure quote, but it's what came to mind.)
Yeah, true. Doesn't the old forum look strange, now?

Yeah, you're used to me being wrong, right? :P (we like to contradict each other a lot ;)) )

Well, if I say yes, saying you're wrong, then you'll actually be right. If I say no, that you're right, then you be wrong. It's a paradox! ;)) (Indeed we do, but I'm not going to agree with you. ;) )

Right! Of course. :P ;) Does that mean that I have to ask your opinion on all of my ideas?

Naw, some of them I don't care about. And some of them, you'll know what I think about it even without asking.

You're so far ahead of me! ;)) I'll try to listen to one today. *goes to download the new ones*

Well, I'm subscribed to the feed, so anytime there's a new one, it automatically downloads to my mp3 player.

I keep forgetting to ask you...Would you like to join Team Hoodie? :) It's a Robin Hood "fanclub" that flam and I started. All it involves is putting "Team Hoodie" in your signature. But, if you'd like to join and not put it in your sig, that's fine too. ;))

Oh yeah, I've read you and flam talking about it. Sure, I'd love to join. *puts in sig* How's it look? ;)

There is Little John, Marian, Roy and Carter. I think those are the ones that are left...We have a Djaq ( ;) ), Allan (flam), Much (Ben), Will (sweeet) and a Nightwatchman (greenleaf). :)

Aw, too bad Allan's taken. ;)) But, I really liked Roy, while he lasted, so I shall be he.

Very cool about your Little Women play, Aiden! Judging from the while ago that was posted, I take that your play is closer than 5/6 weeks now? I hope you all perform fabulously! :)
How have you been doing of recent?

I'm not sure what I said when, but the play is two weeks from Thursday. Thanks!
I've been great, thanks! How about you?

*waves back to NN95*!! How've you been? :)

I've been well, thanks! How're you?
So you're a Robin Hood fan, too? :)

it's very selfish of him [-( :p .

Indeed it is! Someone must talk to him about this... ;))

Our DVDs and the online stuff are both unlimited. With the DVDs we can only have one at a time though. So we have to wait in between movies for shipping.

Ah, so do you have a pretty high-end plan?

I'm off. Mortereve all!

Good Monday Square Onions! I know, I know, I have no right to be here after such a long absence. My plate has been so full lately that I had to adjust priorities; Internet connections had to be limited and I'm so sorry it has taken me several months, and fifty-five pages to come back. :( But don't think that I pushed you to the back-burner on my stove of life. I have missed you all a ton, and I mean it.

Now if you mean for me to catch-up on 50 pages, I'm afraid you're sadly mistaken. I have only a tidbit of time on my hands tonight ( :(( ) and I'm afraid that a catch-up would only discourage me. Oh well, I'm kind of feeling up to it. Last weekend, we took four days and skedaddled to "The City!" to spend a few days with my brother. We went swing-dancing the first night, and that is always fun!! I learned how to salsa, and we also danced the cha-cha as well as the swing and waltz. It's a really cool club that plays '40s type songs for dancing. Really nice! The second night, we went to church and had a great service with my brother's young-people group. Then Sunday we went to church again, and that evening, we went to see Vocal Spectrum (men's barbershop quartet from St. Louis) in concert. It was awesome!!!! I can't even describe it; they remembered us ('twas our fourth time seeing them) and we're all chummy now. It's awesome. :D We got pics and hugs from them...wow, "livin' the dream, baby!" :D

We got home and I got 52 chicks to start feeding and growing for butchering later in June. Normally Dad does the blood and guts part, but he's gonna be busy re-roofing, so I took on this project in full knowledge that I'd have to butcher all of them too. I can read the headlines now: "THE AWFUL TRUTH ABOUT A NEBRASKA TEEN COMES OUT! She is a murderer! A head-chopper, a gutter! Shameless and cruel..." :p 8 of the chicks died last night though...smothered each other. :( Not good.

How is everyone doing? How is school for everyone? I bet you're all as excited as me that summer is so near, eh? Yay summer break!!! I'm so near to being done, the smell of freedom is tantalizing my mind like the smell of freshly baked bread tantalizes the taste-buds!

Then again, I might attempt a catch-up after all. I tell you, these first four months of 2010 have just flown by too fast. I don't even remember when I was here last; January? Ridiculous!

Hey Queen Susan, Narnia Girl, Mel, Winter, and Ruby, how are you lovely ladies doing this spring? =]

Nutty! What's up, man? How'd the play "Little Women" go? (you've performed, I take it)...You're still so lucky to get to do it while I twiddle my thumbs theatrically and wish upon a star to be involved in one. ;) BTW, I had some WONDERFUL chocolate the other day. Mouthfulls of bliss, I tell you! And actually, I have reformed my ways so much as to say that *too* much chocolate IS bad; most anything in excess is. So there, I came halfway, will you come the rest of that half?

Hey Cor, how's the royalty? *sustains a long wave in the Prince's direction* Is anything new in your neck of the state "Clearers of the Thicket"? (it's what the name of your state means) Nothing too terribly new here.

Djaq! Your last metaphor, being drawn from bees, is very serious! "So serious, in fact, that I think you cannot be quite well!" ;) :))

Did anyone here watch Masterpiece's "The Diary of Anne Frank"? I watched it online just today, and my oh my it is good. I love movies from that era; I love their accents; and even though the end is sad, the movie was great. =] I wanna be Anne Frank...

I've been reading Oliver North's "Mission Compromised", and "The Jericho Sanction" this past week, and I've been doing a lot of thinking about technology and communication as a result. No one, in these books, can hide or avoid communication from anyone because of satellite, GPS, message-tracking, and even "secure" phone calls aren't secure...I kind of want to go back to the time when communication was limited, slow, and safe. It's kinda freaked me out that anyone can find you anywhere... :-/ Lol, you're probably thinking I'm crazy. Any of you read those books and know what I'm talking about?

*sends hellos to Malkah* How are you, mm? :)
Hi, Lover of Narnia! Don't believe we've met; I'm Jojo. =]

Bella! Great to see you here!! I know I'm always complimenting your avatars, but I LOVE this one that you have now!! ^_^

Glenstorm the Great (or did we decide on "The Great One"? ;) ) How are you today?! :)

Heeeey, it's Miss Rosario!! I'm so glad you're over the flu; that's no fun!! Stay well, ok? :D

Hey Valia! (back on page 105!) Gooooood to see you again!! Come back soon so we can catch-up, k?

*quickly greets all other Onions*

I am afraid that's all I have time for now. :( "I'll be back when you call me, no need to say goodbye!" ;)

Toodles and God bless!

Mortereve all! Ahh, it actually feels like Spring outside! :D The temp is in the low 70's with a nice breeze. *sigh* It feels great....

I trust everyone had a good weekend? Ours was very nice. On Saturday, KingLune and I went to the local dairy farm and then stopped by one of our favorite hamburger joints on the way home. :D On Sunday, I was able to spend the majority of the day with my cousins, which is always a blast. We stayed outside most of the time, playing Godzilla: Unleashed on a portable TV and then cooking marshmellows and spam over an open fire when it got dark. :p

*You smelled like burnt logs when you finally got home.... [-( *

An unfortunate side effect of cooking over an open fire. ;))

Well, I suppose I should get on with making a catch-up post....

*The Prince and Dragon take their usual seats at the fountain*

----------------------

@ Mal. *squints at Mal* Hmm, you look like someone I used to know who stopped by the Square... :- ;) :p Kidding! Welcome back, Mal! I hope you can stop by more often. :)

@ NN. Well, on.... Friday, I believe, I finally watched episode 7 of Robin Hood. :D "Brothers in Arms" was the name of the episode, I might have the number wrong... Anyway, I enjoyed it, though I think I'm a little more partial to the Merlin TV show. Still, I really enjoyed Robin Hood. :D

*hums "Changing Seasons, Wild Horses, Tristan's Return" from Legends of the Fall*

@ Rose. ROSE!!!! :D So good to see you around again! Glad you're finally over being sick. Being sick with anything is a real pain.... #:-s :-s

*Rose! Tis good to see again! Cor told me you were under-the-weather. :( Glad to hear you are on the mend now, though. :) How are you and yours?*

@ Djaq.

Shhh! Well, that's part of it. Then there are times when I decide to ramble about nothing in particular and that increases the length of said post which in turn makes it a stand alone piece of art that is only attainable with....quote boxes...I really have no idea what I just said!! I was rambling to prove my point.
Moving on...

*finishes eating a chocolate and peanut butter covered apple and looks up at Djaq* Oh, were you saying something, miss?

You had better not. ;)

Oh, don't worry. I would never, ever wont to get on the bad side of a Mod. Especially a female Southerner Mod.... :-ss

*That's not what you told me, Cor. :- *

VERN!!! Shhhh! :-$

True. Nothing serious at all. ;)

*Exactly. ;) *

Great! :D I was planning on doing something, but I didn't really know what. I had a few ideas but I wasn't sure about which one to use. Then most of the mods planned the Alice in Wonderland thing on the night before, so I decided to join.

I wondered if the whole Wonderland thing was pre-planned or spur-of-the-moment. It was a very good April Fools joke, especially with everyone playing their parts so well. :)

@ Bella. They seem to be my specialty now. ;)) I can also make great sweet tea and cream potatoes. :D Oh yeah! and a pizza!

So, lots and lots of..... starch. ;))

@ Rose, again. Dahhh! You stopped by a few more times and I missed you.... :( *sigh* Well, I guess we're back to our old rutine, eh? :p

@ Princess. Glad you had such a good time at the Prom! :D The photos of your dress that you posted on FB looked quite lovely. :)

@ Jojo. We are all doing very well, thanks. Not much to report on here. As you already know, I got a few CD's recently and graduation is coming up, but besides that.... not much.

------------------------------

Alright, I think that gets everything. :) Time to get back home and finish school.... I'll be so glad to be off next week.
