Mortereve to all the SquareOnions! I thought I'd drop in to say a quick 'hello' to all. There seem to be quite a lot of new faces around, so... hi, new people! :-h And hi to all you old ones as well. (Nooo, that wasn't an insult.) ;)

I hope you all have been doing well. I have, to be sure. Struggling with school (as usual!), but still enjoying life nonetheless. :)

Recently, I've been working quite a bit on my writing. Short stories, long stories, medium stories... poems... essays... stuff like that. It's something I've always enjoyed, but I've really been getting into it a lot more lately. I've also been working hard on my violin. A recital is coming up, and I have a big concerto to polish up.

Anyway, that's what I've been up to. I'm loving the spring (or more like summer, perhaps) weather! It's in the 70-ish temperature range, and today was over 80 degrees. :)

Well, I should get back to studying. I hope you all have a splendid evening and rest of your week. Tchau!

Good mortereve!!!

Let's see how quickly I can do a catchup post. :P ;))

Great to see you again, Ben!!

I do have a bigger chance of ending up because I have eleven brothers and sisters ;)) But who knows ;))

You probably will (pass me). ;)) I don't have that many siblings. ;))

You guys are awfully intense with your catch-up posts! Seems almost like a serious commitment, the way you go. O_O ;)

It's a way of life. ;)

Dee--we have claim names for specific gang members now for Team Hoodie? Sheesh! And I never knew! I'm assuming that you're Will Scarlett. But if you're not and no one is, I'll be perfectly happy to take him! ;;)

Welcome to "the gang"!!! :D ;)) It's not a necessary part of being in Team Hoodie, but it's a fun thing to do. ;))

Oh, how fun that you have been ice skating lately!! :D It's a neat sport.

I think we're kind of mixed up here. After Patrick says, "It's on the internet, there's not stopping it." there are a bunch of other lines we missed. He continues and says, "they have no understanding." And Ben says something along the lines of, "But you know the truth, you heard the story from Grandpa Charles." That's when Patrick starts that bit about "This guy's got evidence..." and so on. Now, your line of Ben's that you just quoted actually goes on, too: "Look, Wilkinson's saying that Thomas Gates was the mastermind of one of the darkest hours in US history, and he burned the diary page to cover that up. And you and I both know, he burned the page to keep Booth's men from finding the treasure, and that's what we're doing to prove. And there's only one way we can do it."

Ok, does that clear things up a bit? ;))

Wow, we did get mixed up! ;)) Thank you for clearing that up!
Is the next line something like "We have to find the treasure." ? I don't quite remember.

Yeah, I love that line. ;))
"Thank you! I've been told that before!" In Due Season.
Wow, that's hard to believe. I'm surprised you found that first quote! Looks like that was also when you first started calling me Nutty! (Good thing I didn't!!!!!!)

"Do you dance as well as you boast?" Anne of Avonlea.
It took a while, but I did. ;)) Yep! :) (Rub it in. :P )

(I think you were saying that in our argument you were right. It made sense, but it was wrong. Because I'm right! :P ;) )
Yup.

Whatever. :P No, you're wrong. :P

Yes, do keep these things in mind. :P

I shall try. If I don't, though, I'm sure you'll remind me. :P

Absolutely, it might as well. Eh, no one will know the difference. :P

If you say so. :P

Ah yes, I saw the aftermath of that all. Did you do anything offline?

No, I didn't do anything offline. :) I couldn't really think of anything. ;))

Yes, that makes perfect sense. My thoughts exactly! :D

Good! :D Wait, "[your] thoughts exactly"? Aren't you supposed to come up with all of my ideas? ;)

BTW, we haven't talked about this in a while, but there have been several new podcasts of late. Have you heard them? :)

I've been thinking about bringing this up too. :) I haven't listened to most of the new ones. :( The sound on my computer doesn't work, so I'd have to use the laptop. Or, I guess I could put them on the iPod. I'll try to listen to at least one of them soon. :) Have you been listening to them?

Are you still planning on scanning and sending me those music pamphlets?

I'm sorry that it took me a while to get them to you. I got busy and didn't get around to it. Anyway, thanks for your reply. :) Have you had a chance to read through it yet? :)

Aww, I'm so sorry that you're sick (AGAIN!), Dani!! :( I'm praying for you.

Haha ;)) . So what do you think about my music taste :p ?

Yeah it is :p . We knew someone who had a 12 lbs baby :-o :p .

I think that our tastes are different. ;)) You seem like you have a wide variety of bands that you like. ;))

Goodness! That's a big baby! ;))

Hmmm, I can't say! All the ones I heard I liked, but I don't think I've heard enough to pick a favourite...

I've been good, thanks! :) Busy- I don't think I mentioned it here, but I have two jobs now. One is house cleaning (which I've had for a couple of months now) and the other is working in the kitchen at a local restaurant (I just completed my first month there). Both have been fun, especially the latter job. But it's been keeping me busy. ;)) How have you been?

Ah, that's okay. :) I was just wondering.

Neat! I may have missed it if you had mentioned it before because I didn't know. The jobs sound great! Is it complicated working in the kitchen of a restaurant or mostly enjoyable? I'm just curious because I've never been in that kind of environment. :) ;))
I've been really good, thank you! I've been working more on baking and cooking things. I'll be done with school in a couple weeks, so that will be nice. So, not much has been going on. I may have to play the piano at church this Sunday if my sister is sick. Speaking of that, I should go practice my hymns. ;))

Winty! It's great to know that you're alive and well! ;)) Do come back when you can!

Wow, hello Edmund and Gen! Great to see you both!

I think I know how you get such long posts.... you quote everyone. ;)

Shhh! ;) Well, that's part of it. Then there are times when I decide to ramble about nothing in particular and that increases the length of said post which in turn makes it a stand alone piece of art that is only attainable with....quote boxes...I really have no idea what I just said!! :P I was rambling to prove my point. ;)
Moving on...

Yay! :D I'll try n ot to give you any offending titles, then... ;)

You had better not. ;)

*Ah, I doubt it will cause any permanent harm. Maybe a fear of a young lady asking a dragon to push him into a fountain, but nothing major. ;) ;)) *

Well, we're looking into that... ;) Good. :) :p

True. Nothing serious at all. ;)

Aye, indeed! :D This year I was actually prepared to join the fun. The last two years it's always caught me by surprise.

Great! :D I was planning on doing something, but I didn't really know what. I had a few ideas but I wasn't sure about which one to use. Then most of the mods planned the Alice in Wonderland thing on the night before, so I decided to join. ;))

QS!! Lovely to see you, m'dear! I'm glad that you're having fun on vacation. :D The Creation Museum sounds neat!

*gasps* malkah! :D I have been wondering where you were! Great to see you!

And...Rosa!? You're alive!! Okay, only kidding. I knew you were alive. ;) It's loverly to see you here again!

Wow, lots of people have returned to grace us with their presence! Fun! :D Come back soon!

Mortereve all!

lol ahyeah ;)) . We have to get him to come on more often :p . He needs to stop painting! ;)

I know, right? Does he seriously care more about painting than about the entire well-being of the Square? /:) :P

we watch it online. My mom would be mad if we got the DVDs b/c then she wouldn't be getting her movies :p . Of course she doesn't like us being on the computer either b/c she can't check her email but hey, we have to watch it one way or the other, right? :p

lol, I see. So, how many DVDs per month do you guys get? Is the online stuff unlimited?

NN95: My favorite Creation Museum place--hm. I enjoyed the gardens and petting zoo. ;)) And the Planetarium where they have you lean back and look at the ceiling was pretty neat too. Though I was wearing my hair up and it was rather hard to lean my head back against something. :p You probably don't know what that's like. ;)

Yeah, the petting zoo is cool. Did you see that little thing that looked like a kangaroo, but it's really tiny? When we were there the second time, it was his first day there, so we were one of the first to meet him! ;)) You're right, I don't exactly know what that's like, but I still think it's a bit hard to see the planetarium show... still, that's one of my favorite parts, too.

And hi to all you old ones as well. (Nooo, that wasn't an insult.) ;)

It's funny, I've been in the Square longer than most people here, but I'm one of the youngest. ;)) Anyway, hi back! :)

Yeah, neither did I.

Good! :D Wait, "[your] thoughts exactly"? Aren't you supposed to come up with all of my ideas? ;)

Well, I don't have to come up with all your ideas, as long as the ones you come up with on your own match up with mine. ;)

*slowly trudges into the Square and sits down heavily on a bench* Ugg, I hate colds. Anyway, it's been a little while since I've been in here; I decided you need a little update, and of course a catchup on all my other conversation...

PrincessB, did you notice what I called you in the previous post? *winknudge*

Oh...didn't recognize my new nickname. :P Maybe we should just stick with PrincessB. ;))

*searches for her name*

What do you mean Marian broke up with Guy in that one[A Thing or Two about Loyalty]? /:)

Well, they don't really break up...Marian just gets mad at Guy and there's a bit of a rift between the two.

*spots the picture of Djaq's Juliette on page 142* What a cutie! Jackson and Julie are getting so big... I love how their eyes are wide open, looking curious. :)

*skims over all the April Fool's posts*

*reads about Team Hoodie* I've been wanting a long time to become a member. Such a cool name. :P *puts it in her sig* Lovely, lovely. :) Oh, I don't have to be inducted or something, do I? :P

PC004 looks like Westley from "The Princess Bride"---In my opinion.

That was also my first impression of him. Of course, the image got worse the long her stayed my brother... :P (kidding, kidding)

Malkah! *hugs* Good to see you. :)

It's a way of life.

Hehe, yeah. It's a terrible offence if you don't catch up. ;))

It's not a necessary part of being in Team Hoodie, but it's a fun thing to do.

Which gang members are left to chose? :)

Well...tomorrow is my long-awaited prom! I'm really excited about it!!! (as if you couldn't tell) Just hoping I can shake this cold so I can be feeling great.

And for those of you who were keeping tabs of the meeting Sweet thing, I got to met her last Saturday. It was really fun, we had a blast. We wrote together on our scripts (for Screnzy) and really got along well. She was the first NWebber I've met, so I'm glad it was a good experience. We're already talking about meeting again sometime. :)

Well, I'd better run. Got some salt water to gurgle. Cya Onions!

Mortereve all!!

Hello, RaWkr! :) Welcome to the Square!

Dj: Anything new with you? Any summer plans possibly? :)

Hmm, not much is going on with me right now. I'll be done with school in a week or two, so I'm looking forward to that. :D I don't have any plans for summer at the moment. For a while I thought that I was going to Florida with one of my sisters and her family as a "nanny" of sorts, but they decided they didn't need to take me, so I think I'll be home all summer. ;))
What about you? :)

Yeah, we did. ;))
Yep, that's the next line. :) "We've gotta find it! And you're gonna help me find it. So come on; let's hear the story again from Grandpa Charles."

"Grandpa heard his father say "treasure map"...then there was a commotion." When I turned our Blu-Ray player on, it was already at that part of the movie. We're getting used to this. ;))

"You dare to question the word of a Gestapo officer?" Hogan's Heroes.
Wow, I wouldn't have the patience. (Don't worry, I won't rub it in!!!!!!!!!!)

"I would never sass you, Grandma!" Princess Diaries 2.
It wasn't too bad. ;)) I enjoyed reading through all of the conversations. (Of course you won't!!!!!!!)

Actually, you're wrong. But, that's ok. :P ;))

Yeah, you're used to me being wrong, right? :P (we like to contradict each other a lot ;)) )

Of course I shall.

You're very helpful.

Well, I don't have to come up with all your ideas, as long as the ones you come up with on your own match up with mine. ;)

Right! Of course. :P ;) Does that mean that I have to ask your opinion on all of my ideas?

Alrighty, let me know when you do. Yeah, I've heard them all. :D ;))

You're so far ahead of me! ;)) I'll try to listen to one today. *goes to download the new ones*

That's ok. I didn't realize how long it was, either! Unfortunately, I haven't read all of it, yet.

Okay. :) That's fine. Yeah, it is kind of long.

I keep forgetting to ask you...Would you like to join Team Hoodie? :) It's a Robin Hood "fanclub" that flam and I started. All it involves is putting "Team Hoodie" in your signature. But, if you'd like to join and not put it in your sig, that's fine too. ;))

Yup, Djaq, I am actually alive. Surprising, eh? :p It's great to see you again, as well!

It's shocking, really! :P ;) Aww, you've been sick? :( I'm sorry to hear that! I hope you start feeling better soon!

Princess, you're sick too?? :( It must be something going around the Square. ;)

*spots the picture of Djaq's Juliette on page 142* What a cutie! Jackson and Julie are getting so big... I love how their eyes are wide open, looking curious. :)

:D Yep! They are all so cute! It's kind of strange to have three babies around at once. ;)) Not a bad thing though! ;))

*reads about Team Hoodie* I've been wanting a long time to become a member. Such a cool name. :P *puts it in her sig* Lovely, lovely. :) Oh, I don't have to be inducted or something, do I? :P

Yay! :D We're soo glad to have you join! Yes, actually, there is a very tough initiation that you must go through first. . . Only kidding. We'll let you be a member without it. :D ;)

Hehe, yeah. It's a terrible offence if you don't catch up. ;))

Most definitely. [-( ;)

Which gang members are left to chose? :)

There is Little John, Marian, Roy and Carter. I think those are the ones that are left...We have a Djaq ( ;) ), Allan (flam), Much (Ben), Will (sweeet) and a Nightwatchman (greenleaf). :)

Wow, this didn't take long! :D

I think I want to change my graphics. . .I'm not recognizing myself with these. Anyone have any ideas for what I should use? :) ;)) EDIT: I changed my avatar and decided to go without a sig. How does it look? :)

*strolls in and wonders where she last caught up from*

Mortereve, my friends! Good to see the old faithful square still here.

The highlight of these past few days has been the weather, of course. What lovely temperatures we've been blessed with! So warm and comfortable.
Other than that, I'd better not delve into all my problems regarding school and ohter things, lest I should be impertinent and spill my pessimism all over the square. ;) Today hasn't been the best day, but "Isn't it nice to know that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?" Yes. Yes, it is. And even better to know that God's beyond my petty problems.

Now for catchup!

*waves to Winty* We haven't talked in a while! While lurking around some SO threads, I learnt you're doing Script Frenzy this year, am I right? How fun! :D How's it coming along now?

Hello, Lark!! I'm doing well for the most part, how about you?

*waves to Miss Ruby* Howdy! How's you, good friend?

Very cool about your Little Women play, Aiden! Judging from the while ago that was posted, I take that your play is closer than 5/6 weeks now? I hope you all perform fabulously! :)
How have you been doing of recent?

*chuckles at Cor and Vern's talk of Cor's pancakes* ;)) Are they the Prince's specialty? They sound good!

Ha ha...I wish everyone would stop posting when you stop! :p Thanks for bolding my name, it works out good for me! :D By the way, I chose you for Name That NarniaWebber!

Ahaha! Well, if everyone stopped posting then there wouldn't be any catchup and that won't be terribly fun. ;) I get where you're coming from though. :P
D'aww, I always feel so special when someone uses my name for Name that Narniawebber. Don't know why, but it's just so. ;))

*Very well. The Lady Amalthea admires her new Bella-designed avatar as she munches contentedly on her apple-thingy.*

I am thrilled you like the avatar, milady! :D Ooh, and I had forgotten that the chocolate tree bears caramel/chocolate apples. *runs to get one*
Now I wonder if there're any chocolate covered pretzels....

Why, thank-you, Jo! =] Ahaha, two posts in here in a day just doesn't happen enough. ;))

*drools (into her Drool Bucket, of course) anytime the Olive Garden is even hinted at. ;))

I'll add my hearty ditto to that! Olive Garden is... indescribable. Their salad dressings, in particular, are spectacular.

*waves to Djaq* Aahh, now I understand what Team Hoodie is. Creative name! ;)) I thought it was for the clothing hoodies, ahee.

*greedily licks the spoon with vanilla cream for the Boston Cream Pie that is being made as she skims*

Gtg, I'm doing well on this...windy evening, as it is now instead of raining. I don't know if I wish it was rainy; thunderstorms are pretty affairs as rain, but I don't like the leaking roof part all to much. *shakes head*

Glad you're having such a good time in Florida, Ben! (Forgive me if this is a little behind in news, though. ;)) ) Oh, I bet Florida rains would be lovely! :) How've you been doing lately?

*waves to Flam* How's flambeauWriMo going? ;))

*waves to her very own sister* How are you, CSLN, dearest?

Hurrah for feeling better, Fanny! :D/ Life's been pretty normal for me, not too terrible by the grace of God. :) What have you been doing lately, m'dear?

Sweeet, how fun that you've been doing ice-skating! :D That's such an enjoyable sport. Good to see you in the Square more often!

*waves to Mal,, Genny, and Miss R* 'tis lovely to see you all again! Y'all were greatly missed!

Oh...didn't recognize my new nickname. :P Maybe we should just stick with PrincessB. ;))

*giggles* PrincessB we'll keep it, then. How's Script Frenzy going for vous? =]

Woo-hoo, I believe I'm done. Ah, I'm sorry for the rushed nature of this post. There'll be none of that in the next, I guarantee. :)

And if you all will excuse me, I'm going to try get forty winks here under one of the great, stately oaks. *collapses there and in a moment, everything is unknown to the fast asleep Bella, dreaming of serene subjects such as chocolate fountains, mile-high pies, laser mice running around with their lights, and rabbits hopping through fields....and a nicely seasoned lamb chop waiting for me on a nice table*

Good mortereve!! Hope you're all having a lovely Friday! :) It's been one of those never-ending weeks here, so I'm definitely looking forward to the weekend. ;)

Quick ketchup!

*waves back to NN95*!! How've you been? :)

*waves to Malkah* How do you do?

*waves back and drops a curtsy* I do very well, thank you. :) And yourself?

*skips in singing "Break it Out" extremely loudly*

That's by The Rocket Summer, right? I take it you're a fan of their music? :)

Queen Susan, how neat that you went to the Creation Museum! :D I'm hoping we get to go sometime. It sounds like such a fascinating place! And I'm sure it's very refreshing to not have to stop at every exhibit and go, "No, this did not happen 25 billion years ago..." :p

*waves hello to Eusy*

*waves to Rosa*!

I've also been working hard on my violin. A recital is coming up, and I have a big concerto to polish up.

I hope the recital goes well! :) What piece are you playing?

*gasps* malkah! I have been wondering where you were! Great to see you!

Hiding in the land of lurkdom, I'm afraid. ;)) ;) It's great to be back! How's everything going for you? :)

Hello RawKr! Welcome to the Square! :) Hope you come by often!

Rosa and Princess, I'm sorry you're both not feeling well! :( Get better soon!

Malkah! *hugs* Good to see you.

It's good to see you too! :D You're going to prom? How fun! I'd love to see pictures (at least of your dress)! ;)

Would you like to join Team Hoodie? It's a Robin Hood "fanclub" that flam and I started. All it involves is putting "Team Hoodie" in your signature. But, if you'd like to join and not put it in your sig, that's fine too.

May I please join too? ;;) I've been meaning to ask for a while and forgetting...and then seeing it around the forum and remembering, and then forgetting again. ;))

And I like the new avatar/no sig look! ;) :)

*sends a wave back to Bella, to be waiting when she wakes up* ;))

And now...scholarship applications are demanding my attention at an ever-increasing volume ( %-( ), so I better head out for the night. Have a good mortereve, everyone! :)

*feels someone come, twitches, turns over and mumbles in sleep, "Which one of you mice took my lamb chop? I'm gonna get...", turns over and words are muffled through the leaves. Silence is then regained and she's still fast asleep*

And now to the present:

*wakes up to the darkened sky to find nothing and no one about but the fountain shooting up water with lights glamorously showing it off. Well, might as well take the time to do some star gazing since they're shining so brilliantly right now. *munches on some chocolate-covered pretzels while spotting constellations* Guess I wish I had a fancy telescope!
