Hello hello!
*sigh* What a day! How was everyone's Good Friday?
Mine was...good. Tee-hee. We attended a service (which was lovely) and had a small little prayer time at home. Accompanied, of course, with music.
Well, now, to catchup! (It's been *sniff* so long since I've said that) *straightens up*
Ella! It's nice to see you around!
That's cool that you are doing a blanket!I have done quite a bit of crocheting but I think that I like knitting better. What do you prefer? Or do you just do crocheting?
Oh cool! (about being assistant director)
Hey there Benjamin! Thankee' thankee'. Hmm... that's kind of a hard decision. Both are very fun, but I must say that I am better at crocheting than at knitting. How neat that you've each before! What have you made?
Hi, Ella! How big is your blanket going to be? And what kind of things does a director of a Spring show do?
Mel!! How are you? How are things faring on that side of the screen?
Hehe, I'm actually not sure. I did all this complicated measuring and stuff but it should be about a medium size--a grownup could use it as a reading like throw.
Oooh! Such exciting stuff (lol, that's a funny face) , I do. I'm recording a few of the shows, getting props and stuff straightened out, and taking side notes for the director. Thankyou for asking.
*waves to CS* How are you? Great to see you on the square!
*waves back* It's so good to be here! How are you?
*waves at CSLewisNarnia* Ooh! Assistant director? How fun! Congratulations!
*waves to Lark* Thankyou!
And, how do you fare?
@ Ella. Nice to see you around!! It's been awhile since you stopped by. Please stop by again soon!
Hi there Soundtrack Man. I most definitely will stop by again. How are you?
*gasps* Ella?? 'Tis great to see you here! How fun that you are an assistant director for a show!!
Hi Djaq! Thankyou.
Lol, I'm having alot of fun being assistant director. It's exciting to see all the plays and stuff. How're you doing?
Well, I best be off. G'bye all.

Every time I think of a quote or witty comment to put here, the quote is not so spectacular and the comment is not so witty.
Blessed Easter to all you dear SquareOnions!
We had a great fire Sunday afternoon/evening in the backyard, with friends from church. Lots of food, fun, and conversation, not to mention a big bright almost-full moon and an Iridium flare.
Boy, it couldn't get much better than that. Well, I guess no moon would be nice, though, so more stars can be seen.
Ooooh, Djaq and flam, Juliette is adorable. I can't resist little babies, I must admit. And the twins ... my, but their eyes are so bright! It's kind of sad our eyes dim as we age.*gawks in awe at Djaq's ketchup post*
EtJ! So good to see you back in the Square again. Don't stay away for so long next time. (That's an order. )
Hey Queen Susan! I'm glad to hear the recital went well, and furthermore, that you weren't very nervous. Excellent about the rating you received!
And you played on a Steinway Grand? That's a dreeeaaamm ...
Safe traveling in your upcoming trip.*hint*=Ohio is kind of near Ontario.
Hi Aiden, how was your Easter? Do you get together with extended family at all? Aww, I see later you didn't come on here on April 1. It was really fun and confuzzling, but I thinkâI hopeâeveryone had a good time.
Ah good, Lark. I look forward to hearing about your frog-dissecting experience. And I majored in music at university. I didn't go the performance route (although we had to do a lot of that as well), but I was more interested in the theory/harmony/counterpoint stream. I've used it in many ways over my life, from teaching private piano lessons to preschool group music lessons to working in the music section of a book/music store. It's been quite invaluable. So, I say all that to say, it's a wonderful major to pursue. You have to really love it, though, because it's a lot of work (as anything at university is).
Benjamin, that's one grand ketchup post! Glad you're enjoying the work with your dad.
Hi PrinceCor and Vern. I wish I could get into the Attolia books, but I just can't ... so far. Maybe I'll give them another try at some point.
Btw, I was wondering awhile ago if you and Vern ever share the same soda? You know, like this? Well, you may share that drink now, if you wish. Doesn't it look delish? I think it's a root bear or Dr. Pepper float, but I do hope dragons know how to drink from a straw ...
*gasps in horror* Guess what I found on the same Google Image page? A photo of those Cookies We Do Not Name.
Wow, Djaq, that post you wrote before things got out of hand is still an awesome length.
Ruby! LOL, well if you're weather is like that, our weather is spring-spring, summer-sum, autumn-autumn, winter-winter-winter.
Ah, great system you and your friend having going to be accountable to each other, in a way. I wish everyone had that. It's fun, motivating, and definitely helps with one's spiritual growth.
My kids love Chicken Run. I've never seen the whole movie, but they want me to. Aside from being a good, fun story, they said it has some really quotable lines.
Yep, The Great Escape is an excellent book, first published in 1950 or so, I believe. There is much more detail than in the film, naturally.
Ruby, that sermon by your pastor about the difference between encountering God (in experiences) versus looking for God (in His Word) sounds excellent!
flam, all the best with FlambeauWriMo. Love the name!
Your brother was 10 pounds when he was born, GtG? That's one big baby! He was born like he was a couple of months old.
Someone mentioned Chesterton's The Man Who Was Thursday. Grand book! A friend (a NarniaWebber, actually) sent me another of his, , but I haven't had a chance to start it yet. Anyone hear read it?
*reads all the fun posts on April 1st*
*jumps back in her seat when she comes across the verrry close-up photo of the snake, even though I'm rather partial to snakes.
lover of narnia, you guessed the people behind the characters pretty well, I'd say. And I was starhobbit.
PrinceCor, you were Capt Cor for April Fools Day? Somehow I missed that.
stardf, I think I've heard all those songs you posted, but don't have time now to rate 'em. Actually, I may not have heard that first one by Anberlin yet.
CSLN, long time since we connected here. Great to see you! And what fun about you being assistant director. I bet that's a learning and growing experience. When are the show dates?
I should have gone out for a nice, long walk tonight because we had such a large dinner today (around 4 or so), but I haven't yet, and still have the kitchen to clean up and put on the dishwasher, so I'd better be ... outa here for now. *waves cheerily*

It has been a very long time since i have posted here. I was going to a couple of times but never got around to it.
Anyway this is what i have been doing
1. went to year 10 camp, Abseiling was really fun, I had a great time, I got pushed into a lake though by this random kid that didn't even go to my school.
2. sewing- I have started to really like sewing, well i liked it before but now it is my favorite lesson of the week. At the moment i am making a video game quilt.
3. well school work and stuff, nothing exciting there.
I just saw the word ketchup, Anyway i love tomato sauce, I even have it on carrots and stuff.
IlF, 'tis grand to have you back in the square, and good to read your update.
1. Getting pushed in a lake by someone you don't even know, no less, is no fun. But very cool about the abseiling (we call it rappelling here in Canada). Our daughter did this a few times for her high school phys. ed. class and quite enjoyed it. The scariest part, she said, was going over the cliff top to begin.
2. I read about your video game quilt somewhere else here ... probably the sewing thread, I'm thinking. Will you be using it on your bed when you finish? I sure hope you can post a pic then. That's great you like sewing so much!
3. School. Same old; same old, eh? When is your next major school holiday?
Yeah, heehee, we like using the word 'ketchup' here when referring to "catching up" on past pages in the Square.
Tomato sauce on carrots: now, that I haven't tried before.
I am wide awake at 4 a.m. (without a friend in sight, lolâthat's a line from an old Carpenter's song, btw), after having slept solid for 4 & 1/2 hours already. 'Tis odd. Maybe I had far too much ham and scalloped potatoes yesterday. It does seem warm-ish and stuffy in the house after our spring-like Easter Sunday yesterday, plus the hamster down in the kitchen is running on his rather noisy wheel like mad: maybe I should stick in some earplugs.
Anyway, I'm heading offline soon to read in bed, and hopefully get more sleepy that way.

Hey jo
1. It is intresting how names of stuff changes from country to country and even from state to sate(in australia anyway). It is better that it was soemone i didn't know, I would of been mroe upset if i did know them.
2. Yeah in the sewing thread, I will post up a picture, I might use it on my bed if it is the right length, it is more of what mum calls a pull over blanket.
3. Autumn break(or fall what ever you call it where you live) started on good friday. Goes for a bit over 2 weeks.
My family thinks i am weird for having tomato sauce on all this odd stuff. Must of got it from dad, he has it on crumpets.
I hope you have a good sleep... see you tommrow, or later today.
I haven't come in here in forever, but I feel obligated to come in and say...
I'M STILL A GIRL!
Not a boy, as I was saying on April Fool's! I didn't have internet access all weekend. That's what you get for stacking April Fool's day right next to Easter Weekend! Then and again, people may remain weirded out and stay skeptical about my true gender. Whoops!
How was everyone's Easter? Instead of getting candy for our Easter egg hunt this year, we found eggs with gift cards in them. It was very fun.

*Cor and Vern stop by the Square for a quick catch-up post*
Good Mortereve all! I trust everyone is doing well? I thought I would go ahead and make a catch-up post since there is only half a page to catch-up on.

@ L_o_N. Thank you! Yes, I think both KingLune and Lady A are grateful for me being back to my normal self. A "mental institution"?!? How dare you speak to royalty in such a way!!! *kidding!*
@ NN. Ahh, alright. Thanks for the information about using Google video to watch Robin Hood! I'll have to give that a try this week!
@ Ella. Hehe, yeah, LL made that nickname official shortly after you left chat....
Good! I'm doing quite well, thank you. I enjoyed my three day weekend, but now school starts again. Besides that, I'm doing splendidly.
@ Jo. That's O.K... I guess. I don't think they are the greatest things ever, but they are fun reads with some great characters.
Yes, we sometimes share a drink. Every-know-and-then it can get kind of annoying since we have the tendency to bump heads a lot when we're both trying to drink the same drink... Thank you for the float!!
Ah yes, Capt. Cor.... The Capt. Cor. *laugh* Yeah, I had a lot of fun with that. I only acted like "Capt. Cor" in the Square and a bit in chat, so that's probably why you missed it. *nudges Jo to look at the previous page to see my posts...*
@ Sweeet. Yay!!!!! Now I don't have to feel weird calling you Sweeet or picturing you as a girl since you are one. Hmm, that's a mind bender of a statement.
How was my Easter? Very pleasant. After church we went to my grandmothers house and had lunch. After lunch I stayed with her for the rest of the day. Pretty much just a usual Sunday.
------------------------
Well, that gets everything for right now. Time to get back to school work! Talk with ya'll later!!

Mortereve all!
I didn't get the feeling that he cared for her. But if he did, I mean, at least he wasn't marrying her just b/c of what he did but still.
Well, I thought he did. Any other Robin Hood fans have some input?
That's most of the reason I was mad at him. I actually cried for Much I felt so bad for him. Very sad. It's like Robin has strong feelings for these people but he doesn't know how to deal with them, especially when he's upset. Like when he told Marian she should just stay at home and do her cross-stitching. And then she said even her father supported her more than he did. Robin just doesn't think before he speaks. Makes me mad.
Well said, I completely agree.
btw you missed alot of April Fool's Day fun yesterday
Maybe. To me, it's more confusing than fun.
*waves to Ella*
Hi Aiden, how was your Easter? Do you get together with extended family at all? Aww, I see later you didn't come on here on April 1. It was really fun and confuzzling, but I thinkâI hopeâeveryone had a good time.
It was perfectly loverly, thank you. I trust yours was likewise? Nope, no extended family on Easter. But we do get together plenty of other times in the year.
I would say mostly confuzzling!
*waves to ILF* Good to see you back!
@ NN. Ahh, alright. Thanks for the information about using Google video to watch Robin Hood! I'll have to give that a try this week!

Good Mortereve everyone! I hope everyone here as been well! I have been, just really busy. As such, I haven't had time until now to do a catch up post here. Ah well.
I also hope you all had a wonderful Easter, we did!
We had a surprise visit from some cousins which was really quite a bit of fun. We played road hockey and basketball. I actually enjoyed playing basketball, I've never really played it before, but it was fun.
Plus I had my two cousins on my team, and their height (both are taller than I but younger, isn't that so unfair?
) made it easy for them to get the ball in.
(and this catch up goes way back to page )
Cool about the fort. I've always wanted to have a tree fort but our insurance won't allow it. When we first moved in to the house we live in now, the previous owner had built a really nice tree house but our insurance made us take it down. I was mad
Life is good
. School has been getting better, I'm doing alot more reading, bought some CDs, and I got to watch more Robin Hood last night!
![]()
What about you?
Aww! That's too bad! I can see how they could be potential hazards or whatever, but it's still sad.
Has school continued to get better for you? I hope so! I have been reading quite a bit too- and thankfully (!) I'm almost done the current book I'm reading. It hasn't been a bad book, but I don't agree with some of what the author is saying in different areas, but I purposed to finish the book despite that since I know I'm going to encounter quite a bit of things that I don't want to read but I know I would have to anyway, and stuff. Sooo. I wouldn't finish the book if it was really really bad, though.
Other than that life has been really good, thanks!
Just busy...
Which new CDs did you get?
ForeverFan. I'm sorry you have a cold, I hope that you recover soon. I meant to send you a PM yesterday in thanks for my birthday PM, but it did not go through. I apologize for not being more prompt with my reply, but thanks very much for the PM. It was and remains greatly appreciated.
Thanks! Thankfully I was feeling much better really quickly.
You're very much welcome for the PM!
And actually, your PM did get through.
So no worries about that!
Stwin and I attempted to build a bit of a fort when we were younger. It was a bit small, but served the purpose we had for it.
Neat! There was always something about forts that drew me to them- perhaps because when we were younger (and even now, especially more so) we loved history, so we loved the military and fur trade forts and such, so we always wanted to build something like that too. (Or something...) We got the chance to visit some of the living history forts and villages in my province (Ontario) and they were some of the best vacations we've ever taken. Especially the military re-enactments...
ForeverFan: Aw,thank you.
I really need them right now. (I feel so bad for not posting another update yet.
)
Our snow is gone as well, but the weather is being...to quote an oft-quoted song: "bipolar".Some days,it's beautiful and sunny, others(like today) it's cloudy and rains a bit.
You're welcome! How are you and your family? Still praying! I hope the weather has steadied out a bit- it's been so warm and summer ish here, it's been really nice.
*waves back at Mrs. Jo* I hope you're doing well!
Congratulations Djaq on your new little relation! How is she doing?
@ Fanny. Aye, they always are. Plus add in a little annoyance when you're trying to get them set-up.
![]()
How is life for you? Ah, yes! Indeed! But computer sure are nice things when they're all set up and working, eh?
I'm glad you're doing well, Fanny-dear! And I hope that slight cold leaves you once and for all so you may enjoy the spring weather.
I've been getting along quite jovially, thanks!
Spring break in view greatly contributes to that, of course.
Thank you dear! I am quite happy to say that I'm all better now!
I'm glad to hear you have been doing well!
How is life for you now?
Heehee! I guess that's the way it works. You don't want to give away any of the good spoilers, but I always feel a little obligated to let people know about some of the rougher content they should be aware of.
![]()
Yes! Ditto!
Ah, yes! In my opinion, the second series is probably the best. Well, it's my favorite at any rate.
Have fun finishing them up!
How has life been for me? Well, lesse, it's been rather eventful. This past weekend, I got to participate in a thirty-hour famine to raise funds for children in Haiti and poverty awareness in the community. It was a really successful fast and we raised a lot of money. I had never done a famine before that, so I actually enjoyed the experience.
Thanks! I'll be sure to mention it somewhere whenever we get around to finishing it.
I'm glad you enjoyed the famine experience- I've never particpated in one of those either, what exactly did you do?
Thank you for your prayers! How has everything been going for you?
You're welcome! Things here have been pretty good, normal and routine but good still.
And you?
That's fine!
How are you liking the songs?
Life is going very well for me! It's been rather slow, but not bad at all.
Your avatar is gorgeous, btw!! Your graphics are always so pretty!
I was listening to some of their songs about half an hour ago- they have a nice style! I liked it!
Thank you!
I'm glad to hear that your life is going well!
FF: I've been well! Moving into my new room has been good too, I'm somewhat used to it now.
Other things are going well too, piano, violin, etc.
In April we are planning a pretty major 2 week trip where we'll visit Ohio, Georgia and Alabama... Wow. That should be really enjoyable. In Ohio we're planning to go to the Creation Museum, in Georgia we're going to my little brother's "World" LEGO competition (they won State a few months ago sometime...) and in Alabama we'll be visiting some old, good, friends.
Ah good! Oooh, trips!
Your trip sounds like fun- I hope all goes well!
My Mom, sister, and I, are planning a trip to Ohio in June to visit friends, I like trips!
I've never been to the Creation Museum, but it looks to be a fantastic place! Imagine, a whole entire museum totally from the Creationist/Christian perspective...
That sounds like so much fun!
How is life? Mine here has been good.
Yup, we sure do! And you have it too? Neat! It's got some lovely music on it! My favorite songs are 'Rescue', 'He's My Brother', 'I Never Told Her I Loved Her', 'No Way Out', 'Outlaws', 'The Nightwatchman', and 'Robin Hood End Credits'. I can never choose just one, can I?
Oooh, 'Rescue'! Another favourite! I love the pace of that particular track, and just how it is written and such. That was a good one!
How is life for you? I hope all is well!
Well! I should be off, have some reading to get done. Cheers all!

. He's more than 30 lbs

yeah what do the rest of you think?
Well said, I completely agree.

Maybe. To me, it's more confusing than fun.
it was both . The mods switched their usernames around and there was an Alice in Wonderland kind of theme going on. It was fun

Yeah. We're not allowed to have trampolines either .
Well I'm done with The Iliad so now I'm writing an essay on it. So I'm glad I'm almost done with that, then I'll ahve to start reading The Odyssey.
I got All the Houses Look the Same by Deas Vail and Until My Heart Caves In by Audio Adrenaline. Have you heard of either of those bands? Deas Vail is one of my favorite bands but I haven't heard much music by Audio Adrenaline. I haven't even listened to the CD I got yet

Hey ho!
My, but the Square has moved slowly the past few days.
Great, IlF, do let us know if you post a pic. Well, do enjoy your autumn break. Any special plans? Your dad has tomato sauce on crumpets? Yes, it must be in his genes he passed on to you.
sweeet, I'm so glad you confirmed you're a girl. Oooh, I'd love to find some eggs with (bookstore) gift cards in them.
PrinceCor. Yep, I bet you and Vern bump heads a lot when sharing a soda. Doesn't his hot breath heat up the cool drink, and how do you avoid that happening?
Yes, thanks, Aiden, we had a lovely Easter, 'though the weather was a bit too warm for my liking. I did manage to see Venus and Mercury together on Monday night in the western sky. Beautiful! 'Tis a rainy week here now, so I'm thankful for that one opportunity.
Speaking of the weather, did everyone see fantasia's new fun season poll thread?
Fanny, how fun your relatives dropped by! I'm glad you enjoyed basketball. I, myself, was never good at it.
That Creation Museum sounds fantastic! I'm heading to Ohio in late July, but unfortunately where I'm going is a bit too far from the museum for a day trip, I think.
Yep, that's a big boy, GtG. Our 9.8 son is now 6'4", so I'll be curious to see how tall your brother is in a couple of decades.
Hello again lover_of_narnia. How doest thou? In answer to your poll, I do not do RPs. I'm just not much of a writer ('though you'd never guess from my chattiness, would you
), but I admire those who have this talent.
And now, I'm skedaddling. Toodles! *disappears with a flourish into this very foggy night*

hehe yeah. Our whole family is kinda tall-ish, so I wouldn't be suprised if he got to be around 6'4''
Eeeppp ! The concert is tomorrow night- I am so excited, can you tell?

Yes i am a lot like my dad. Yes his bad spelling and good math. I got my pattern material(whihc will be used for half my quilt squares) yesterday. It has stars kind of liek the stars you get in the mario games.
also a nearly 10 year old 6'4 gosh i am only 5'4.
