Did someone say chocolate? ;)

*waves to Lady A* Tis nice to see you about the Square; your posts are always a pleasure to read. And that's quite a nice avatar you're sporting too.

That's a very long and thoughtful post as well, from our Lady of the Shire. A few observations:

Mind you, by Friday here we should have temperatures up in the low 80s ... We're usually still getting snow this time of year!

Ditto! It's pushing 80F here right now, with a stiff south wind. I hope to enjoy one more fire before the red-flag warnings and bans go into effect (burning bans come in the spring, after the snow melts and until the vegetation begins growing again).

We had a great fire Sunday afternoon/evening in the backyard, with friends from church. Lots of food, fun, and conversation, not to mention a big bright almost-full moon and an Iridium flare.

...Victor Hugo (Les Misérables)—the latter who wasn't even a Christian, from what I know—and can honestly say that their writings have been a very large influence on me in my relationship with Christ...

Isn't it amazing that this is so? Les Mis impacted me profoundly when I first read it, and I'm convinced that (to a large extent) it was because I was reading it at the perfect time with the circumstances that were going on at the time. It's full of great quotes and themes (like forgiveness, redemption, law vs. grace, and adoption) that really resonate with believers.

...Have any of you seen the movie Blind Side? ... the rest of the family (including me) watched it all together last night. I must say, it was very, very good. I enjoyed it a lot!

I saw it in the cinema with friends, and we enjoyed it. Sandra Bullock really nailed that role. I've read that she had very complimentary things to say about the real-life family the movie is based on, as she studied them for a while to immerse herself in the role more fully.

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

Good mortereve all!!!

I announced in my last post (last Wednesday, I believe) that my sister had her baby, and said that I'd post some pictures soon. Well, I got busy and haven't had the chance until now. Anyways, meet Juliette. :D (flambeau is the one holding her...good aunt, that!)

Annnd, now it's high time I caught up...

Wow, Djaq, amazing about all your snow ... at the same time when we, many miles north of you, were getting much higher-than-normal temperatures (around 65°F)!

Yes, it's been an odd winter for many places. ;)) Wow, your weather was a lot warmer than ours! Our weather has really warmed up now though. It's supposed to be in the 70's and 80's this week. (are you sweating yet? ;) )

Is this their first child?

Yes, this is their first child! :)

Djaq, the wedding is the beginning of August. Still a couple months away, though I think there's a lot to do before then. ;))

Ah, okay. :) Yes, weddings take a lot of time and effort to plan! ;))

lol I don't have my own either, I share one with the family. But most of the music on it is mine and I use it the most so it's practically mine :p

Haha, my whole family shares one too. ;)) We usually hook it up to our surround sound and play it through there. It works good. :) ;))

*waves to Ata* :)

I am most certainly doing well except for that I have a cold.

Aww, I'm very sorry to hear that! Are you feeling better now? Completely well, I hope!

Thanks! Believe it or not, I'm just getting around to doing it... How is life for you?

That's fine! ;)) How are you liking the songs? :) Life is going very well for me! It's been rather slow, but not bad at all. :)
Your avatar is gorgeous, btw!! Your graphics are always so pretty! :)

I realize that you were talking to Ruby, but I just wanted to say that I was encouraged when I read this. Meaning, I'm not planning on going to college- unless it's in a few years- and I'm not planning on leaving home right when I'm 18, so it's kind of nice to know that others have done it as well.

I'm encouraged by reading what you said! :) I'm glad to hear it!

Good to see you posting more regularly, Djaq!

Thanks! :) I've missed being around more.

Of course, not a problem! I haven't been remembering this scene very well either, so each time I watch that section of the movie...

I still haven't watched it. Do you want to go ahead and do the next line? If not, that's fine and I promise that I'll have the next line before I post again. ;))

"No, I wasn't right." NT1. Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel for quotes!

"Don't contradict your mistress!" Nicholas Nickleby. Definitely. ;))

Ah, but if I admit that you're right, then we won't any more, and you'll be wrong. It's a paradox! :D

Ah, now there you have me. Oh wait! No, you don't! :P You have to go on thinking that I'm wrong because if you change your mind and say that I'm right, I'll be wrong... 8-}

Of course, we always run out of things to saw while we're having another secret conversation. ;)) Quite welcome! I've been doing fine, thanks. Nothing interesting happening of late... How about you?

We're so predictable. :PGlad to hear it! Not much going on here either. How is the play coming?

Boy, that a tough question. I guess I'd say Allan-A-Dale. I don't know what it is about him, he just seems like a cool guy.

I think it's actually Saffiya, but you were very close.
Yeah, he's a neat character! :) I really like Will Scarlett. As you have said, he's not a big character and doesn't have a lot to do, but I like how he stands for what he believes in and always wants to help people. (and he's good with wood. ;)) )

I've been talking to my parents about the music discussion that's been going on in here, and my mom gave me the booklets where we got our music standards (ultimately the bible, but this puts it together). I can scan it in or type some of it out if you'd like me to send it to you. :) If not, that's completely fine, but I just thought you might be interested since you weren't quite sure how to explain it.
Thank you for posting that link. I've been reading it and it makes a lot of sense. :)

s back atcha! Well, I had some girl in chat that wanted me to come back... :P I'm doing very well, thanks for asking. How are you doing? And how are those cute little twins, Jackson and Julia? Got anymore heartmelting photos?

Hmm, she sounds like she could be annoying. :P I'm doing great, thanks! :) Jack and Jules are doing great too! :D They are soo cute and growing so much! Of course I have more photos. ;) Every aunt should. ;)
Julia. Jackson. :D

*waves back* Hello, how are you? :D

I'm doing very well, thank you! :D How are you doing?

Aw,I bet having nephews are just like having little brothers. ;)) I've always wanted a brother. My oldest younger sister was never a good partner-in crime. :P ;)

Mmm hmm, it's great fun! LOL, that's too bad! :P ;)) (about your younger sister)

Ooh,fun! Do you enjoy cooking? :)I don't have much experience in the kitchen thanks to my mom and oft-mentioned sister(I really wih she would just join NW,so if nothing else,I could just call her by her username. :P ) who are both really great cooks. Btw,I have a recipie on my blog if you ever feel like trying something really new. ;))

Yes, I love to cook! :) I made lemon bars and brownies for dessert on Sunday and they turned out pretty good. I had to substitute some brown sugar into the recipe for lemon bars because we didn't have enough white sugar, so I'm glad that they turned out okay. ;))
(haha, that would be a good thing. ;)) I have three older sister who aren't on NarniaWeb, and I never know what to call them when I mention them on here ;)) ) *goes to look at the recipe* The one for artichoke pizza? It doesn't sound too bad! ;)) I'll let you know if I'm ever able to try it. But...it has crescent rolls for a crust?? The crust is one of the best parts of a pizza! ;))

How's school been for you? It's been so-so for me except for english, which has been incredible. We're supposed to start Julius Ceaser soon!
Thakn you so much! I've been meaning to post another update, but last week seems like such a blur. Hopefully, one will be up by the end of the week.

School has been going pretty good. :) It's been kind of hard trying to fit everything in lately since we made two trips out of town last week (my sister who had the baby lives an hour out of town), but it was sort of my "Spring break", so it worked out. ;))
I'm glad to hear that your English is going so good! :D Great!
You're welcome! I've been keeping up with your blog, so I'm seeing the updates that you've put on there. :)

how awesome! Congrats to you all! :D I love newborn babies :)

Thank you! :D

Wow, congrats to your sister, Djaq! How many nephews and nieces do you have now??

Thanks! Lol, I have 11 now. ;)) And, there probably won't be any more for a while. ;)) Three in a little over three months is a lot. (the twins and Juliette are three months and three days apart) ;))

Hope you can catchup soon. ;)

Is this soon enough? It hasn't been quite a week. ;) (I actually didn't see you said that to me until just now. ;)) I must have missed it when I read it the first time)

Robby!! Great to see you in the Square! :)

I thought you would be proud. BTW, how do you add "So-and-so said" to your quote? :-

Very. ;)) Wow, that's an odd smiley! (haha, I first typed it as "slimy" ;)) )

(without the spaces and the *) :)

*I believe I have. Lady A could tell better than me, seeing as how I'm around him most of the time.*

Hmm, really? /:)

Then I shall perhaps ask the lovely Lady A.

You don't believe me? ;;) :P

Well, as you know, I'm having trouble finding an episode to start on. :-s

I'm really sorry that I still haven't sent you a link! I looked on MerlinJunkie's channel and the earliest episode that they have is number 8, I think. :( I'll see if I can find them somewhere else...

*I thought you wanted me to push him into the fountain. :- Oh well, a little dip never hurt anyone. Right Cor?*

*the Prince, nicely dry now thanks to the fire, returns to sit on a bench near the fountain in a slightly better mood* Cookies would be much appreciated, Djaq. Though, you don't have to. Sorry for losing my cool, BTW, I just wasn't expecting Vern push me into the fountain....

Well, you advised me to strike him after he insulted me, I said that I'd let you do it for me and the next thing I knew, Cor was in the fountain...Oh well. All's well that ends...with Cor in the fountain? (Sorry! I couldn't resist! ;)) )

*hands Cor some fresh-ish-ly baked chocolate chip cookies* (my family is famous for our cookies, btw ;)) ) No apology is needed! It would be an alarming experience, I would think (not that I know and not that I'd like to find out ;) ). :)

Ditto, also I liked some of the camera movements in the '05 version, but that doesn't make up for the film as a whole. Yes, very much. :) It's one of my favorite Austen adaptations, actually. :D

Mmm hmm. :) S&S is one of my favorites too. :) I really like the cast and the costumes and locations are beautiful! (I love the location of the cottage)

Congrats yet again on your sister having the baby!!! :D

Thanks! :D

*waves to Libby* Thank you for the congrats! :)

Congrats Djaq! Give my congradulations to your sister too. Can't wait to see those photos. So how many nieces and nephews are you aunt of now? *sees NN asked the same question :P*

Thank you very much! :D
As I told Aiden, I have eleven nieces and nephews now. ;)) :)

Flam and djaq have Mandolins?! Awesome!

Yep! We have both been taking lessons with our brother for the last couple of months. :) I just got a mandolin a couple weeks ago (I had been renting one from my teacher). It's an A style and flam's is an F style. :) I have pictures, but they're not on the computer yet... The name of my mandolin is Jeb. I don't know why, but it just fit. ;)) Flam's is named Oscar because he's an Oscar Schmidt mandolin. :)

Congrats Djaq on having a new niece! :D What a beautiful name!

Thank you! :D

No, I haven't [met any NarniaWebbers]...unless you count my sister. :P

But you have talked to one on the phone. :P ;)

Jojo!!! Sooo lovely to see you again! Thank you ever so much for the congratulations on the arrival of my new niece! I hate to seem biased, but she is the cutest! ;)

Oh, dear! I missed wishing our beloved Dame_of_Narnia/Lissa a spendiferous birthday through the Square! *pouts* I am very sorry, but I hope that you had a wonderful one despite that!! ;;) *reads on* Ah, she stoppeth by!! I definitely enjoy things that are sweet and sappy (as Jojo can tell you), so I read the whole thing! ;) Wow, how utterly fabulous! :D

Congrats on your new niece, Djaq! Enjoy your time with little Juliette.

Thanks so much! :)

Lady L!! Great to have you stop by again! :D
I recently finished reading The King of Attolia, so I now know where your avvie and sig quotes come from. ;)) (they're great, btw!)

*skims as much as possible* This is taking a while. :-s ;))

Djaq and flambeau, what wonderful news about your sister's baby's arrival. Welcome, Juliette Noelle, to this world. :D What a pretty name, too. 8.2 is a good size. I can relate as two of our children were 8 pounds+ (8.6, to be exact) but our middle boy (who is 6'4" now) was 9.8. *gulp* ;))

Thank you very much! :D Wow, you had some very good sized kids! ;)) 9.8?!? :-o ;))

Djax, congrats on the new niece!!! Newborns are always fun. My sister is due in about a month or less. Can't wait to meet the little one. And I also found out recently that my brother and his wife are expecting again. :D

Thanks! :D Yes, they are very fun! Ooh, congratulations to you too, then!! Yay! :D

Congratualtions about your new niece!! :D Such a pretty name too! :) I bet you and your family are really enjoying her.

Thank you! Yes, we definitely are! :D

Nice haircut, Cor! :)

QS!! I hope that you can catch-up soon! :) How did your performance go? :)

Well, no exact plans for Spring Break but obscure ones such as reading more, writing more, heading to the bookstore, and of course being here more often! :D
Ohh! That's simply fantabulous about your sister's baby being due soon! =D (Although, I s'pose this is Juliette Noelle who's come already? :) That is such a novel name. Congrats to your family!)

Aha, I see. :) It was about the same here. But I tried to squeeze school in when I could. ;))
Yep! Juliette was the one I was referring to! :D Thank you!

You can keep coming up with creative titles...that's much more entertaining. ;))

Okay, great! ;))

Huh, really? I wonder where Valia got her idea from, then, she hasn't seen season three.
Oh, congrats on the new niece! :)

No idea. ;))
Thank you! :)
How have you been lately?

I talked with my dad last night, and I'm gonna talk to my pastor about it Wednesday, but I really feel like I should play once a month on Sunday mornings. Our Sunday morning pianist is "borrowed" from another church, and I feel really bad that she hardly ever gets to go to hers. :(

That sounds great! :) I'm sort of a substitute pianist for my church (I fill in when my oldest sister isn't available) and it's a really good way to improve! :)

My sisters didn't move out right at 18, but they did go off to college and start their own independent life. I wish one of them would get married soon...:P

Okay. :) Haha, really? ;)) I have three sister who are married and I'm not in a hurry to get rid of the last one (flambeau). ;)

Thanks, Djaq! I've memorized about half of it so far and am really familiar with all of it. I'm actually having a lot of fun with it. It's a very sarcastic speech. I definitely like it a lot more than reciting one of my own speeches... :P

Good for you! :D I'm glad that you're having fun!

My mom is considering cutting back a lot of my school work next year to study music and practice. I've been progressing somewhat rapidly in piano, but I'm still way behind and will have to work extremely hard if I want to make it my profession. My mom thinks that I'm going to make voice my profession. I would like to make both. :)

Speaking of which, how are all the music lessons going for you?

Wow, that would be neat! :) How long have you been taking piano lessons? :) That would be great if you could make both singing and playing the piano your profession!

My mandolin lessons are going great and I'm still working on improving my piano playing skills! :) Our mandolin teacher emailed us the other day and said that in the next few weeks we'll probably be joining her other students and playing our mandolins in the Square (the actual town square ;) ) some Friday night! I'm really looking forward to it!

Djaq!!!! That's so cool that your sister had her baby! Now we can call you Auntie Djaq!! ;) Juliette is a beautiful name. Oh, that's so exciting!

Thank you muchly, Dani!! :D Yes, I suppose I am Auntie Djaq now. ;)) Yes, we're all really excited and thankful!

I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed the first season of Robin Hood, Aiden! :D Does MerlinJunkie have the second season up yet?

*laughs at Lady A's post* As always, it's great to have you with us! Beautiful avatar, as well! :D

*waves to those she did not specifically address*
Wow, I should be getting off now!

I hope that everyone has a pleasant mortereve!!

Wow, Djaq!!! That's quite the catch up post!! :D You won't be catching me writing that much. But I did decide I would come back to the Town Square after a long time away. I hope you've all been well. Djaq, Juliette is a beautiful baby, and I love the pairing of her first and middle name.

Mortereve again!

Wow, Djaq!!! That's quite the catch up post!! :D You won't be catching me writing that much.

Thank you! :D It took a looooong time and I don't really like doing them, so I don't recommend them. ;)
How has your day been going? What have you been up to? :)

Djaq, Juliette is a beautiful baby, and I love the pairing of her first and middle name.

Again, thank you! :D Mmm hmm, the names go really well together. :) It's going to be a tad confusing having nieces named Julia and Juliette who are only three months apart. ;)) (I'm looking forward to it though!)

Am I posting twice in one day?? :-o Yay me! ;))

You almost tempt me to post a youtube soundclip of London Tipton saying, "Yay Me!" But I won't.

My day is going great! My family is on spring break, which means I also get the week off from Teacher Assisting. The weather's been wonderful, so that is an added bonus. Plus, I've started to realize that the next couple days are going to be fun with April Fools' Day, so I'm beginning to eagerly anticipate that!

:)) I was actually quoting her when I said that (obviously). I haven't seen the show in a while, but that line is one of my favorites. ;) ;)

I'm glad to hear that! :D Are you enjoying your week off? The weather has been great here too! I opened the windows this afternoon because it's so gorgeous outside! Am I being boring by talking about the weather? *tries to think of another topic* Got nothin'.

Ooh, yep! April first is coming up! :D I'm really looking forward to that! Psst, do you have any plans for it? ;)

Yes, it's been awesome!!! We had our doors open for quite awhile today! It got a mite cold though, so we closed them. But the sun has been amazing!

I probably won't do anything in real life. I don't have a good "poker face". I have a few ideas for virtual jokes, but I likely will just be a spectator.

Mortereve! :)

*waves to Gtg and Lark*

*waves back* And how are you this rainy night? At least it's raining where I am :p

Yeah, it does look like that! 8-}

lol yeah 8-} :p .

Okay, Ali it is. You know, a girl in your avvy could change that image. (But Lizzie in your sig does give that impression) Just a suggestion. :)

hehe probably ;)) . Problem is I'm more into guy bands, and bands are what mostly take up my graphic space ;)

Ali:lol,I would too. Scream,that is. ;))

Yeah, but at least I'm getting her to listen to better music. :P Still haven't made very much progress with RK and SF though... Wait I take that back,I did get her addicted to "Sadie Hawkins Dance". But she won't listen to the stuff I put on her iPod.<_<

That's what I get for being a procrastinator-extrodinare. :P I'm sure I'll like it! :) I'm tempted to read an online synopsis though...;)) :P

I haven't listened to it yet,but I've almost finished learning it on the piano. :P You're right it's very pretty! :x I'll have to play it at church sometime. :)

Cool! How was it? :) I still have a TON of work to make up,plus those two papers. :| Like I said,procrastinator-extrodinare. :P lol,I don't think I'll be taking a spring break either. ;))

I had the most AMAZING weekend! :D Saturday was really busy and I ate way to much, but it was still fun. That morning I went with my sister's to a special tea party at church, and I think I enjoyed it more than they did. ;))
Then after that I went to my 2nd cousin's wedding reception.(the ceremony was private) *sigh* She looked like a princess! And her new husband is very nice. Weddings are just so much fun!
Then I went to a baby shower for my late uncle's girlfriend. She got so much stuff,I don't think that baby Brooklyn Renee will ever run out of clothes. ;))

lol ;))

Too bad. My sister pretty much hates SF. I was singing The Sound the other day and she was like "this is the sound of me screaming! This is the sound of me breaking the iPod! This is the sound of me strangling you!" lol, we're kinda violent ;) .

lol, but don't ruin the story! :p

Cool, do so! :D

I'm done with the book :D ! I finished today! But now I have to write those essays

That's so nice! I love weddings and baby showers (as long as there aren't a ton of people- I don't like crowds, even if it's people I know :p ).

Ali! *hugs* How are you?

*hugs back* good how bout you? I finished The Iliad today! :D

Well, I've seen the season finale. I don't know that there's necessarily anything that makes me like him less... he's just been despicable the whole time.

Yeah, it was really sad. I've been spoilered on NW, so I pretty much know how every episode is going to turn out, so I knew Eve was not going to turn in Much... ;))

Really? I thought finding out that

Spoiler
he didn't really care about Marian
made him less likable...

I never clicked on spoilers for it :p . I'm good about spoilers for pretty much everything but Narnia ;) .

@ Ali. Aww.... :( That's happened before with some of our VHS tapes. We'd try to watch them and the tape would get chewed up. :-s Well, I hope you can get it from NetFlix soon! :)

Thanks! :D (2)

I received it on Saturday but still haven't been able to watch it . Hopefully I'll start tonight. Well I actually did start Sunday night but then the whole family was bored and told me to put in something else they could enjoy :| . Oh well...

Haha, my whole family shares one too. ;)) We usually hook it up to our surround sound and play it through there. It works good. :) ;))

hehe us too, except the music I really enjoy listening to I'm not allowed to play around my younger siblings ;) . Juliette is adorable btw! I love little newborn babies :x

TTFN :)

Anyway... Ready for catchup. :D

I'm far too impatient to give one of my younger sibs a music lesson. ;)) Good luck with that!

;)) It's going pretty good I'd say. :D With this brother I can just joke around with if he messes up--it would probably depend on the sibling how impatient I was. :p
Ooh, yeah, the cello is cool! I know three people who play it... :D

they sometimes give me grief for "wasting" my money

Heh, yeah, know how that goes. :p Not too much for me though--I'm so poor I don't HAVE any money to "waste"... ;)

But she was like "You're not doing that!" and grabbed her purse back. LOL. They didn't get the guy, but he didn't get her purse so it's ok. I would've been way to scared to grab my purse back...My mom's so brave.

Whoa! That's awesome, creepy, and hilarious all at the same time. :p

You know the ones that are like twelve measures long, and have titles like "Christmas Trees" or something like that.

Haha, I know exactly what you mean. :p Titles like "Vacation Time" and "A Summer Day" and "Pretty Butterflies".... ;)) *laugh* Kind of annoying, IMO. :p I still have that sometimes, maybe not so much with piano--but violin at least. :p

Ooh, are you fully moved in now? How does the paint look? What shade of brown is it?

Yup!! :D The paint is pretty nice, it's supposedly a "burnt almond" color... ;)) I like it. :D Got some curtain things too... For, like, the first time in my life. ;) http://www.myperfectcolor.com/Match-of- ... 080354.htm <--color of paint

I don't know what I'm going to do when I end up the eldest at home.

Mm, me neither. :-s 2 weeks ago or something I got so depressed thinking about that. :p It was kind of--um--pathetic. *laugh* I felt better after talking to my brothers, they assured me they weren't getting married for a few years, and they'd be around a bit yet. :p
They always say to view a marriage as gaining another sibling instead of losing one, but that can be kind of hard for me. :p

Most of the girls around here seem to adore the new version. Glad to know you like the older version.

If you're talking about P&P, Ugh, the new version is the worst. ;)) *laugh* None of my family likes it, and I can't say I do either. ;))

DJ: Ooh, a late congratulations on the new niece!! :D

NL101: Nice to see you around! :D

A belated happy birthday to Dame of Narnia!! :D At least I was on time on facebook. ;))

*skimskimskimskimskimskimskimskimskimskimskimskimskimskimskimskimskimskim*

Thank you, Glenstorm and Lark for the prayers!! :D And anyone else who might've prayed as well. :) They were appreciated!

Jo: The recital went very, very well. :D I wasn't really nervous at all, *surprise* ;) and the pieces went better then they had before, and not many mistakes. :p Got the highest "rating" possible pretty much, except for "Superior +" which means you do it perfectly probably. ;)) I just got a Superior.
I played "Song without Words" by Felix Mendellsohn, and "Scherzo in E Minor" by David Karp. :) Yes, I was pretty well satisfied with the performance. :D And I got to play on a nice Steinway Grand on a stage, which was cool. B-) ;))

*let's out a girly AWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! at Dj's awesomely cute pictures of her 3 neices and nephew. :D :D :D*
;)) And my performance went well, thank you! Read the description I gave Jo^^ if you want to know more. ;))

FF: I've been well! Moving into my new room has been good too, I'm somewhat used to it now. :) Other things are going well too, piano, violin, etc.
In April we are planning a pretty major 2 week trip where we'll visit Ohio, Georgia and Alabama... Wow. That should be really enjoyable. :D In Ohio we're planning to go to the Creation Museum, in Georgia we're going to my little brother's "World" LEGO competition (they won State a few months ago sometime...) and in Alabama we'll be visiting some old, good, friends. :D

So that's pretty exciting.

And now it's bedtime. ;)) Finished! Hooray!

Mortereve all!

:)) Yeah. What kind of sweets do you enjoy?

Well, as far as candy, I like pretty much anything other than chocolate. As far as deserts... there aren't really many deserts that I like at all.

Yes, one does have to be very careful of basing our relationship with Christ purely on experiences, rather than the trustworthy facts of God's Word and what Christ has done.

Exactly!

I still haven't watched it. Do you want to go ahead and do the next line? If not, that's fine and I promise that I'll have the next line before I post again. ;))

Well, I think I didn't actually say my whole line before, so I'll finish it.
"This guy's got evidence; he's got everything. We have a story; we have nothing."

"Don't contradict your mistress!" Nicholas Nickleby. Definitely. ;))

"Why not? It's true!" In Due Season.

Ah, now there you have me. Oh wait! No, you don't! :P You have to go on thinking that I'm wrong because if you change your mind and say that I'm right, I'll be wrong... 8-}

lol, this reminds me of the argument between Ben and Abigail. "Ooh, so I'm wrong again!" "Ah, now there you are correct!" ;))

We're so predictable. :P Glad to hear it! Not much going on here either. How is the play coming?

Indeed. The play's coming quite well, thank you. It's going to be in about 6 weeks, I think.

I think it's actually Saffiya, but you were very close.

Gah, what's up with these weird spellings? ;))

Yeah, he's a neat character! :) I really like Will Scarlett. As you have said, he's not a big character and doesn't have a lot to do, but I like how he stands for what he believes in and always wants to help people. (and he's good with wood. ;)) )

Yup, and pretty funny, too. Really, you like Will, too? Mmm, those are some good points, though.

Oh, that's neat. Sure, I'd love to read it. :)
Glad you found the link helpful.

Is this soon enough? It hasn't been quite a week. ;) (I actually didn't see you said that to me until just now. ;)) I must have missed it when I read it the first time)

Not really, but that's ok. ;)

I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed the first season of Robin Hood, Aiden! :D Does MerlinJunkie have the second season up yet?

I did indeed. :D No, he doesn't yet, but he just posted that it's going up soon (that's why he's been taking down the episodes of season 1). However, if I get impatient, the episodes are elsewhere on the internet, it's just that they're subtitled in Spanish or Chinese which is annoying, so I prefer to watch them on YouTube. Anyway, I may take the time to go back and watch Season 1 again.

*waves to EtJ*

It took a looooong time and I don't really like doing them

So come by more often! ;)

Ooh, I forgot tomorrow's April Fool's Day! Eh, I probably won't do anything.

Really? I thought finding out that

Spoiler
he didn't really care about Marian
made him less likable...

I never clicked on spoilers for it :p . I'm good about spoilers for pretty much everything but Narnia ;) .

Wow, I never got the impression

Spoiler
he didn't care for her
... :- Anyway, I loved how the wedding turned out. ;))

I love spoilers, so I click on all of them. ;)) I probably shouldn't...

Have a good mort'reve all!

I am so hyper! I'm going to a TRS concert! Eeeeeppppp! :D

Heh, yeah, know how that goes. :p Not too much for me though--I'm so poor I don't HAVE any money to "waste"... ;)

I don't have a ton of money either, so when I do get it, they'd prefer I save it but instead I spend it. Though I do save a certain perfectage...30% :p

Wow, I never got the impression he didn't care for her... :- Anyway, I loved how the wedding turned out. ;))

well he said

Spoiler
he only wanted to marry her b/c she could "cleanse him off his sin" b/c she was so innocent.
That pretty much shows to me that his feelings weren't really genuine. Yeah, I loved the wedding too :p . Good thing
Spoiler
Guy didn't run after Marian though or he would have seen Robin.
Another good thing is that Much has good sense, and knows what he should do, unlike Robin. I got rather mad at him in this episode [-( =; ;) .

I love spoilers, so I click on all of them. ;)) I probably shouldn't...

Yeahhhh!!! Pizza for dinner! :D Whoot!
Oh,and I got my Easter dress yesterday! I posted it in the "Fabulous Fashion" thread, but I'll just re-post it again.
http://www2.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?Gr ... rchresults

It's about two inches two low for me on my,um...chest,so I'll be wearing a white sweater with it. Well,I guess it's more of a cardigan than a sweater. It's not on the site yet,so I can't post a pic.:P

Dani: I've missed you!!!!!!!!!!!! So glad to see you again! :D
Catch up...
I keep going back and forth on if I'll do a music major. I know I'd just love it,but sometimes I'm think I could never make a decent living, and other times I think I should just do it because I'd love it. I've been praying about it,but I'm still not sure. :| Indecisiveness is one of my biggest faults. ;))
Do you play piano by ear or do you read music? :)
I almost gave my dad's truck a fender-bender last week. ;)) It totally dashed my self-confidence,but he told me "Could you play the songs you play on the piano now after your first or second lesson?" Hehe,I love my daddy. ;))
Aw,I'm sorry. :( I check around the site and it looks so cool! I use a DVD program from Pensocola Christian Academy. I like it,but I'm just so glad I don't go to the actual school. it's insanely strict.
I hope things slow down for you. Busy schedules are a drag for me.
I've been pretty good. I know I keep mentioning it,but I'm soooo excited about the Hymn Playing Contest next month! :D And the Dove Awards. I hope Relient K and Switchfoot win! :D Have you listened to the new RK album?
Thanks! :D I've been wanting to use it for a long time, and Wunder_Lu's avy goes great with it. :x Yeah,I more or less like the music video. I think it's so funny how Adam's wearing a suit and converse. ;)) I like the one for Fireflies better though. Btw,that line in your sig is one of my favorite SF lines ever. :x

NN95:Hehe,thanks. ;)) It's not my best poem, but it still works.
I've been fantastic! :) I went shopping yesterday, which was so much fun because I hadn't been to the mall in forever. But I'll spare you the details, since I predict they'll most likely bore you. ;))

PrinceCor: For the most part,I'm great! :) I'm going to an Easter Egg hunt tonight at my church. I'm too old to actually participate, but I'll still have fun. The kids in our church are hilarious. ;))
How about yourself?
Aw,poor Vern,having to be your guinea pig. ;)) :P

jo: I haven't disected the frog yet,(I am after lunch today)but I'll let you know how it goes! :) *can't wait :D*
Hehe, sorry. ;)) I've actually been listening to more He Is We than Relient K lately...

Djaq: Awwww! Juliette is too cute! She looks so precious! I'm thrilled to hear you're enjoying her,but now I don't see how you couldn't. ;))
Mmmmm....reading about the brownies and lemon bars makes me hungry! ;)) Glad to hear everything turned out well in your "adjusted" recipie. :)
Maybe I'll just call her Sister1. :P Simple,and easy to remember. ;)
Yup,that's the one! Most people gag(not talking about you,Cor :P) when I tell them about it. ;))
Do you not like cresent rolls? :-

I'm glad school worked out with your sis having her baby. :)
Thanks for keeping up with my blog. :) It means a lot to me.

And thanks for my beautiful siggy! :D

Ooh,that's cool that your older plays piano, too! :) Thanks,I'm a little nervous about it though. But my pastor is a guy who's really easy to talk to so i'm not sure why. ;))

Ali:Oh,gosh! That's too funny! =)) =))

Fine,then. :P I'll wait.

Ugh,I hateeeee essays. What kind are they?

Queen Susan: Yay for Terminals! :D
Cool! I don't think anyone I know plays any classical instruments...;)) I actually have on one to talk to about playing music anymore. :P Well,in real life, anyway. ;)
Glad to hear your everything went well! :D I love those songs. Especially the Mendelssohn one. :x

*enters the square*

Hey all and Good Mortereve! Hope all is well here in the square!

I have not been in here for a while so here is a bit of catchup......

Hey Ben, glad you're having a great time in Florida! :D Hope you can post just as much as normal, though you probably won't have as much time, eh?

Thanks! As you can see i have not been posting much :( I don't have much time at all!

Yeah, but The Andy Griffith Show is a classic example of what you were saying, so it's no wonder we both thought of it.

That's true.

Yeah, I think that would be a lot of fun. From the interview, Richard Armitage seems like a really neat guy.

My sister watched the movie "North & South" where he plays as the main character I hope to watch it soon too.

Three of my nephews are staying with us this weekend (until Monday), but they're playing outside right now, so I thought that I'd catch up! :)

Fun fun! How many nephews and nieces do you have?

Yes, it's a pretty good movie. :) It's really funny, of course, but the first one might be better. :)

I'll have to see it, whenever I get the chance! Who knows when that will be!

Hmm, it doesn't always take a lot of time. It depends on...how many newbies' posts need to be approved (or if they need to be disapproved, it takes more time because we have to explain to them what we did and why)...and other various things. :) That particular day was kind of busy, if I remember correctly.

Oh I see...

Yay! ;)) So we have three outlaws so far. Anyone want to be Will, Little John or Robin? ;))

Yay! A gang! ;))

Ben: what are you working on in Florida? I hope you are having fun!

I'm painting houses, today i just finished a house with my Dad and then I will be starting one later on this week.
I'm having a great time! Even though I'm working ;))

you really do like that smiley don't you? :p

Aye, I do ;))

(I'm a hugger :p )

;))

Good for you. I hate planes. It's the only reason I don't want to go to FL.

Why do you hate planes?

I've had an interesting past couple of days. Yesterday, I went on a hike in the woods with my siblings and some friends. And then I came home and played around with my flute with one of my friends on her harp. It was a lot of fun, because she has a lot of Celtic tunes that I could lay on my recorder or flute and she accompanied on her harp. It was fun. :)

Sounds like lots of fun!

Yeah, I've taught myself how since I was a little kid. But recently my mom started "seriously" teaching me piano, so I'm getting a little more into music theory, or at least trying to. :) How are you enjoying piano lessons?

I need to learn more about music theory, right now I'm just playing by ear and then just making up tunes in different keys/scales

Glad to hear it! I hope the rest of your time there goes well!

Thanks!

You're learning Piano? Neat. I've recently taken it up as well. Actually, I took lessons long ago, but sadly I quit (now I regret that decision). So, recently, I decided I wanted to start learning again. Kinda wish I had just stuck with it originally, since it's harder to find time nowadays than it was then... but, I am determined! :)

Yep
Cool!
I hope to learn more about music theory soon when I get the time, but right now I'm just playing by ear and making up different tunes.

How exciting about going to Florida, Ben! I'm envious of the warm, sunny weather you must be experiencing at the moment. ;))

Very exciting! I'm having a wonderful time here! Its been warm and sunny a lot of the days but a few it has rained, though Florida rain is very lovely!

*waves to Cor*

*Waves to Princess*

Really? Sounds fun...when will you be back? (You might already be back though. )

Was a lot of fun!
I'm not sure when I will be going back to Oregon, but it could be a couple of months, its all depending on how much work comes in......

*Waves to Tiana*

Well that's all for now... I'm not sure when I will be back in here but... Until then!

*Cor and Vern enter the Square discussing King of Attolia*

So Vern, you think I'm most like Gen, eh?

*Oh, quite! Though you have both your hands and you're not a thief. I also think Attolia would be the perfect match for you.... ;) *

Whoa!! :-o A woman that can switch from being gentle and kind to her husband one minute and the next order someone's head lopped off? No thanks. Sounds a bit too..... violent for me.

*Oh, I think you would get used to it.... ymwhisle *

Yeah, right..... :-w

Mortereve all! I trust everyone is doing well today? It's in the 70's down here and sunny! :D/ *is happy*

Attolia reading update: I am now only three chapters away from finishing the book!!! :D I decided to finish reading it tonight, hopefully. :) I'm at the part where

Spoiler
Phresine is about to tell Gen the story of Klimun and Gerosthenes. I love the fact that Gen keeps interrupting the story.... ;))

O.K, time for catching-up:

*The Prince and Royal Dragon take their seats at the fountain*

--------------------------

@ Winter. *Cor and Vern return the wave*

*Yes, it is amazing I don't have food poisoning from prior cooking "adventures". Fortunately, Cor has improved and yes, he was the one who made the pancakes. :) *

I'll be sure to tell her you send greetings! :D Edit: Well, it appears Lady A stopped by the Square shortly after. *waves to his Royal Mother*

@ NN. Hmm, that must be a different version than the two I'm familiar with. Both of those scores have been released dozens of time on various record labels. #:-s

Well, in that case you should probably be able to see it at your local IMAX then. :)

@ Jo. *Ooh! Thanks miss Jo! :D Vern proceeds to partake of the pancakes*

It have been funny for ya'll, but it was greatly disturbing to myself.... :-s ;) :p *major kidding*

Aye, hair does put a damper on eating. :p

@ Djaq. Yay! You stopped back by!! :D

Very. Wow, that's an odd smiley! (haha, I first typed it as "slimy" )

(without the spaces and the *)

That is a weird smiley..... :- I think I was trying to click ( ;)) ), but slipped and put that guy in instead.
Thanks for the explanation on putting titles in when you quote someone! :D

Then I shall perhaps ask the lovely Lady A.

You don't believe me? ;;) :p

*That would probably be best.*

I'm not sure.... You are a tricksy one after all. Not to mention a Mod and a bandit. ;) :p

I'm really sorry that I still haven't sent you a link! I looked on MerlinJunkie's channel and the earliest episode that they have is number 8, I think. :( I'll see if I can find them somewhere else...

That's O.K. Like I said, there's no rush. :) BTW, I watched an episode of "Merlin" on SyFy channel Sunday. :D I actually rather liked it. It was much better than what I had imagined. :)

Well, you advised me to strike him after he insulted me, I said that I'd let you do it for me and the next thing I knew, Cor was in the fountain...Oh well. All's well that ends...with Cor in the fountain? (Sorry! I couldn't resist! ;)) )

*hands Cor some fresh-ish-ly baked chocolate chip cookies* (my family is famous for our cookies, btw ) No apology is needed! It would be an alarming experience, I would think (not that I know and not that I'd like to find out ).

*Ah well, a minor misunderstanding. Yes, all ends well with Cor in the fountain. ;) *

I shall refrain from commenting on that last bit there, Vern.... [-( *graciously accepts the warmish cookie from Djaq* Mmmm, thanks! :D Aye, that it is. Now I know how Lady A feels on a regular basis... Oh, come on. I know you're just dying to find out what it feels like. Vern would be happy to dump you in the fountain... ;)

Mmm hmm. S&S is one of my favorites too. I really like the cast and the costumes and locations are beautiful! (I love the location of the cottage)

I just like the whole thing. ;))

Nice haircut, Cor!

Thanks! (7)

@ EtJ. Welcome back!! :D It's nice to have you back in the Square. :)

@ Ali. Bummer.... :| Well, hopefully you can watch it without having to subject your family to it.

@ Lark. Glad to hear it! :) I'm not sure if our church is going to have an Easter egg hunt or not. If we do, I'll probably won't go like I have the last several years.

I'm doing very well, thanks. School is going well as is Life. :) Nothing really interesting to report on at the present time. ;)

*Fortunately, I have built up a strong tolerance to various poisons over the years. Especially food poisoning. ;) *

-----------------------------------

Alright, I think that gets everything. :) Talk with all of you later!

*Cor and Vern exit the Square humming "Cheyenne" together*
