Wow, nice new haircut, PrinceCor. I do like both, but probably prefer the shorter one, if I had my choice. I assume the Lady agrees? We moms tend to think rather alike. But you have a great wave in your hair, which the longer cut shows off nicely. Btw, did Vern get some of his scales trimmed too? Or possibly his claw-nails?
Tiana, thanks for that shawl link. It is ... gorgeously made! (I always think this new forum's clapping smiley looks rather weak, don't you? I mean a much more enthusiastic applause than that!
)
Ooh, do enjoy the kayaking. If we tried that here now, we'd freeze every part of our bodies.
Thanks, I will say HI, especially to Kimberly.
I hope your sister's labour and delivery goes as smoothly as is possible. Is this her first? Or are some of those nevvies of yours, hers?
Ti, for sure you'll hear/we'll let you know when the Voyage trailer is out. Loud and Clear. Btw, no question is dumb.
Who could forget Robby. He is the guy who hogs all the cookies that we shall not name.
Uh-oh. Here it starts again.
Btw,I think I'm supposed to disect a frog next week. I was hoping the starfish would be next, but oh,well. I ate frog once, but I didn't think it tasted that great.
I'd love to dissect a starfish. Anything to do with creatures from the ocean/sea fascinates me. Starfish grow back their legs if one is cut off, don't they? I hope that doesn't happen if/when you dissect one.
Probably my 'favouritest' hymn is "It is Well with my Soul". And what a story behind that beloved song!
Ach, Aiden, isn't it frustrating when people don't meet a deadline that involves you, especially if you're (and I think you are) one who sticks to the schedule. Ah well, patience is a virtue. Having said that, have you tried to graciously talk to them about this?
*pops the meat loaf in the oven*
Just thinking, I sure wouldn't mind if ceppault posted in here again sometime.
EDIT: And I'm off to Valiant_Lucy's family to visit for the weekend, so Ta-Ta/Toodles until early in the week.

Mortereve all!
It's Friday! (to steal the expression from Cor )
Oh, ok, I see. Yeah, he really hasn't had any sort of important or interesting role in any of the episodes I've seen.
Mm, the one I'm thinking about is in the 2nd season, I believe. Will's brother comes back; really good show.
Oh, that's right, your sister joined NW, didn't she? Poke her to visit the Square.
She joined about a year ago or so, but she only recently was allowed to use her account. I will. She's talked about posting here a few times, but I think having all these conversations and people talking at once kinda scares her.
lol, that's ok. It's partly my fault for only saying the number instead of the name. So... the one I was referring to was "A Thing or Two About Loyalty". What did you think of that one?
That was an interesting show. I liked the theme and the explosions. Actually, the explosions weren't that cool...but whatever... Not one of my faves, but at least it has Marian "break up" with Guy.
Aunty Jo actually starting using the term. I think Cor and his SquareGirls came along later.
Ah, I see. Probably was before my time when that nickname was made...
Cool avvy/sig, Jojo! Good to see you. How are you doing?
As in sweeetlilgurlie? She's lovely and so much fun. We met her last fall at an FotR symphony concert in her city, and we hope to do it again this fall when TTT comes to town again. I hope this works out for you to work together, Princess. That would really be so cooool!
Yep! We've been emailing back and forth since I help her with an little indy a couple of months ago. She's already contacted the director, and it looks like we might have a chance to meet.
Ahaha, I had forgotten all about PrinceCor and his SquareGirls. How did that come about again? Wasn't it that he was in the Square a fair bit with only females? What a hoot!
I think he got tired of calling everyone SquareOnions, because it's kind of a gender neutral term. So he changed it to SquareGirls. He got so bashed for that! It was hilarious.
*Waves to Tiana* God to see you, sis!
Well, I've got to run. See all of you later!

Thought I would do a short catch-up post...
PrinceCor004, great haircut!
Which one? The older animated, or the newer live version? I preferred the voice of Templeton the rat much better in the old movie, but the animation in the new one was excellent. And I didn't care for Julia Roberts' (who is not a favourite actress of mine, anyway) rendition of Charlotte's voice in the least. Nope. However, I really enjoyed Dakota Fanning as Fern.
I like Dakota Fanning, the cute animals, and animation better in new. But I really like the older one probably better. They are both so cute! (It was the first movie to make me cry when I was little --I'm a softy--)
GeorgieXO, I've seen you around, but I'm not sure we've met. You can call me LL, Lady, Lady L, or anything along those lines.
![]()
You can call me GXOs, GeorgieXO, Gsmile, or anything along those lines.
Bye! I'll be back soon! I finally got my background posted about 2 or 3 days ago...it's called: Cast Through the Years (Animated background GIF)
or something like that^

Mortereve!
Yeah, I know. I used to like Guy a little, but really not much anymore. I mean, I do like him much better than the Sheriff... I don't know, he's not too bad...
So, what did you think of "A Thing or Two About Loyalty"? That's the one I just saw. I liked it a lot. But I felt bad for Much when Eve left.
ugh, after you watch the series finale you won't like Guy much at all. I'm finding him a bit despicable now.
That was sad- I cried. I liked the episode and I'm so glad that Eve didn't turn Much in but it was sad how he finally fell in love and couldn't stay with her .
Well, want to describe it?
np.
I think I might have just imagined it. Whatever.
@ Ali. Oh well, that's something I noticed first thing. *shrug* I don't think I ever had a rally good fixed image of what the characters should look like. I just know what they "shouldn't" look like.
I hope you enjoy the 1995 P&P!
![]()
sadly I didn't get to watch it yet . I went to put my tape in the other night (I have the whole thing on video cassette) and it didn't work
. And it was the tape's fault, not the VHS player, b/c my other tapes work
. But I requested it on Netflix so hopefully I should be able to start watching it on Monday.
Btw, I like your new haircut. Although I am a fan of long hair on guys, the shorter cut looks nice too
Ali: you played man hunt with your gympy foot? why?
that isn't really the best idea with a swollen foot.....
![]()
yeah it wasn't that smart. We had some friends over and they wanted to play and I didn't want to stay inside and I thought my foot was healed enough to play...oh well. We have more friends coming over tomorrow but I won't run around outside this time
*Gasps* You wish to touch the hand of a Royal!?
Glad to finally met you officially. Is Glen an acceptable nickname?
I didn't know it was such a big deal
. Glad to meet you too
. Actually, I like Ali better- alot of people on here already think I'm a guy
Yeah, I like that one!!
cool, it almost looks like some kind of chemical equation
Ali: That would be incredible if you got tickets!
Let me know!
I let her listen to "Shorline" and surprisingly she didn't say anything negative about Wes' voice.![]()
I actually had to temporarily give S&S up because I need to work on my C.S. Lewis papers for english. They're due in a couple months.
![]()
I haven't heard "Be Thou My Vision" but I love "It Is Well"! It's a really fun song to play, too.
Aw,thanks.
So how's school going for you?
![]()
Trust me, I will! I'll be like bouncing off the walls and shouting from the hill tops and screaming for the whole world to hear!
Really? That's weird
Poor you. Hopefully you can start reading it again soon, I really like it and I hope you will too
Listen to Be Thou My Vision, it's really good, one of my fave hymns
Pretty good actually. I'm almost done with The Iliad (finally! ) so once I'm done with that and two essays I have to write I'll have a little "break" in school. By break I mean easier stuff
. How bout you?
TTFN
Mortereve Square Onions!
*waves to Ti* Yay for "Happy Working Song."
Jo, I shall color code this one. I was too tired to too it last night. I'm not sure how frequently I'll be in here anymore. This week has actually been calmer then my Spring Break, but I'm fearing it's just a prelude to an upcoming storm that won't end til Finals are over. It's nice to visit again though!
And yes, you're all pretty close as to how the term "SquareOnions" came into being. I live an hour away from the biggest city in Canada, Toronto. Its inhabitants are called "Torontonians", and from that it became "Squareonians", but we all thought it looked better—and was so much more fun—to change that last "a" to an "o". So, yeah.
Also, I know you were posting links to the Unmentionable Cookies awhile back. Did you get the link where they were banned?
We rarely stop in Buffalo, but drive through it on vacations. It's one of the few towns that can get my nose out of a book to look at. We have to spot those buffalo on the side of the highway.
It's a very cold one here. Considering we had +18C/64.4F last week, it's rather a shock (although I don't mind) to wake up to -17C/1.4F this morning (with a slight wind chill). Invigorating, to say the least!
Our weather's been doing the same thing! I want it to hurry up and make up it's mind what temp it wants to at least stay near!
Who could forget Robby. He is the guy who hogs all the cookies that we shall not name.
![]()
Oh, dear. Such flattery, Ti.
Btw,I think I'm supposed to disect a frog next week. I was hoping the starfish would be next, but oh,well. I ate frog once, but I didn't think it tasted that great.
Frog's are fun. I never dissected a starfish though. Is this marine biology, or just regular bio?
Hey, Aiden! I've missed y'all in here. Life's been very busy.
Nice haircut, Cor! I like the shorter cut better. *waves to Vern*
I like GXOs. Nice to meet you. *shakes hand*
*waves to Ali*
It's been nice to be in here again. I'm not sure when I'll be able to stop in again though. Take care, all!
Sweet dreams and God bless.

Sorry I haven't been around for a bit--I plan on catching up soon in the next week hopefully. This last week has been fairly busy.
Right now I just dropped by to say that I'm having a piano recital/performance/competition/I-get-judged thing this morning around 11:30, and if you all would pray for me that'd be great!
Thanks so much!!
Talk to you soon hopefully,

Mortereve all!!
Jo, like I said I think that is one of the prettiest shawls that Mom has made. All of them are pretty though.
Actually we aren't going kayaking cause my oldest sister got sick. It would be a beautiful day to do it though.
This will be her third child.
*waves back to Double N*
LL, I actually just watched enchanted for the first time the other day. It was a great movie.
Well I have to go make lunch for the family before they get back home. I should be around later.
"Whenever you feel like criticizing any one," he told me, "just remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages that you've had.”
Mortereve, all!
All these fun people showing up, I thought I would, too. And, hey, only about 6 pages of catchup! This'll be a breeze.
Well for the week now, I'm on Spring Break! Hurrah! I have plenty of reading to catchup on, (one especially exciting book that just came out
). I also will have leisure time to write and crochet and all that fun stuff.
Anyways, I should do catchup before this grows long with pointless rambling, hm?
Aha, so I did remember right, Eustace! *suddenly feels very intelligible* Thank-you for that emoticon wishing all those pleasant things- they're coming gradually!
It's pretty sad how at first 40-degree weather seems so warm when it first appears and then we grow dissatisfied with it in a few weeks after tasting better weather.
Good day, Becca! Lovely to see you in here.
@Soundtrack Man (*heard of the nickname* ) Ah, I see. (About the 2005 P&P.) I've only seen the beginning scene, the ball scene, and a little bit of the "You write uncommonly fast, Mr. Darcy" part.
So, I cannot say much of the acting, but for the casting Mr. Bingley was definitely not a favourite.
Nice new haircut, btw!
*waves to Vern* Seems to be I haven't talked to you in a while! How're you doing, sir? Any successful hunting adventures lately?
Hehe, glad of that, Aiden! How's your Little Women play coming along?
*agrees with Jo in imagining Aiden to look like Ben Barnes*
You didn't get snow there, Brains(;]) ? Well, hm, that might be lucky from some aspects but I like snow around Decembertime, so I don't know. I know, but it's been pleasant chatting with you some in the chatroom recently!
*receives the hug and gives a big one back*
Hm, about Study Mate being back-- I hadn't talked to her, but I did see her around. From what I've heard of her, she sounds like a lovely person; I hope she stops by so we who haven't can meet her!
Thanks, Djaq!
Well, no exact plans for Spring Break but obscure ones such as reading more, writing more, heading to the bookstore, and of course being here more often!
Ohh! That's simply fantabulous about your sister's baby being due soon! =D (Although, I s'pose this is Juliette Noelle who's come already? That is such a novel name. Congrats to your family!)
D'aw, sorry about your cold and your brother's chicken pox, Mel! "Dear Lord, ... and may You please send the chicken pox back to the chickens?" I got the chicken pox when I was about 5, right after Ella got it, which was expected of sisters who played a "bet you can't swat me!" game... I mean, sisters who are incredibly close and just have to give each other a hug daily.
I hope they heal soon, and I hope you do, too! But hallelujah for the lovely weather!
*waves to KK, Ata, and Lady A* What a treat for you to grace us with your presences! Wonderful to see you all.
I'm glad you're doing well, Fanny-dear! And I hope that slight cold leaves you once and for all so you may enjoy the spring weather. I've been getting along quite jovially, thanks!
Spring break in view greatly contributes to that, of course.
LOL, GeorgieXO. That might have to contribute with the way I used to post in the old forum, unless I'm unconsciously posting a whole lot... :/ Well, I'll stick to GeorgieXO right now, but I'll think of something!
*waves to Gtg and Lark*
Good to see you in the Square, Rob! Have you been caring for your peach tree while in that corner?
Jojooooo!! How lovely to see you. What a dear, dedicated sister you are!
*gasps for breath and nearly falls over the fountain with excitement* It's the two missed L's!!!!!! *rushes over to them both and hugtackleglomps each* =]
Lady L, it's been too wonderful seeing you more often around the forum and in chat!
And, Lissa! Happy happy birthday, from all of us to you, we wish you happy birthday, so ... *hums the rest* What an interesting gift you received, yes! I wish you again, and hope you did again, have the most wonderful birthday and you really must stop by more often here when it isn't too busy for you!
Heya, Ana!! I've missed seeing you! =] Ditto to your being kinda excited for VDT. I can't wait to see a trailer when it comes out.
And, I believe I'm finished, yay! I must be going now, but I'll come by every five pages, seeing how catchup only takes about 45 minutes roughly...instead of the normal two hours. Anyways, ttyl!

Good mortereve everyone. I hope that ya'll are doing well this evening.
I will attempt to remember what I wanted to reply to from the last two pages...
Jo, if you did take up hunting, it would be a momentous occation, and I would rejoice for days. There is no age too much to begin your hunting career.
LOL. I never thought if it that way, but yes, we have a new convert.
We saw about twenty turkeys today. Four gobblers for sure. All with good beards, but none would stay in range long enough to get a shot. Hopefully we can get one next week though.
Two of the longbeards were in full strut side by side, and they remained so for as long as we could see them. They were gorgeous. Twin white heads tucked back in the chest plumage. The fans completely out and just turning back and forth, showing off for their girlfriends. It was marvelous...makes me want to cry.
PC, your haircut is cool looking either way. Wish my hair looked that good long.
That was my first viewing of the Blob.(I keep typing Blog for some reason)
Tiana! You came back! Your mother does awesome work with her knitting.
Jo, I am in agreement, Olive Garden is very good.
*watching the NCAA Tournament, Elite Eight matchup between Kentucky and West Virginia*
Lady Liln, great to see you on. Hope that you can make yourself less scarce.
1F Jo? THAT IS SICK. We haven't been below freezing but once in a month I think, and that was last night.
Mel, I can't say that scene was one of my favorite parts of the movie, but that would be because I thoroughly enjoyed the entire film. I thought it was very well done, and definitely worth watching.
So how are ya'll doing this fine mortereve?
They did drugs and they're all dead.

Heya KK!
I'm doing alright this evening. I hurt from soccer last night, but I'll live.
Yes mom's knitting work is beautiful.
I am so out of it tonight. I have to make lunch for tomorrow, do some laundry, and clean the kitchen. Yeah it will probably be a late night.
I've only been to olive garden once I think. It was good.
As far as the topic of weather goes it was in the lower eighties F today. It was so nice!
[/end of a very random post]
"Whenever you feel like criticizing any one," he told me, "just remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages that you've had.”
Tiana! Sorry I missed you.
Good. That's good. Glad it was enjoyable, though tiring.
Awe dang. I need to clean the kitchen...I think that's all. If I don't fall asleep first.
Yeah.
Wow. It was cold this morning, and pleasantly warm this afternoon.
Nothing wrong with randomness, it often is the substance substance is made of.😛

And, hey, only about 6 pages of catchup! This'll be a breeze.
I remember when I had 4 pages, it took a while to see if my name was mentioned in any posts, reply, and keep scrolling! I'm going to keep caught up as long as I can...Town Square just keeps going even if you don't have time to post!!
LOL, GeorgieXO. That might have to contribute with the way I used to post in the old forum, unless I'm unconsciously posting a whole lot... :/ Well, I'll stick to GeorgieXO right now, but I'll think of something!

Okay, Ali it is. You know, a girl in your avvy could change that image. (But Lizzie in your sig does give that impression) Just a suggestion.
QS, how did your piano recital/performance/competition/I-get-judged ( ) thing go?

*is so jealous!* We're still in the low forties. Bleh...
Wow, okay, so not much to catch up on even though I didn't get on here yesterday.
Little update on the meeting Sweet thing, for those of you who have discussed it with me. She's not going to be able to work with the film group , but we still live close to each other, so perhaps we'll get a chance to meet some other time.
Well, I'd better run!

Mortereve, all!
Here to catchup, and two posts of mine in one page...it's been a long time since that's happened.
So today was very fun- woke up at about 7-7:30 and got ready to go sing for choir, and then Sunday school. For once, we did not have choir practice again so we were looking after some darling kiddies of some friends. ^_^ So that was excellently fun!
Also, on Friday we watched the new The Princess and the Frog. It wasn't too bad, wasn't my favourite-- there were things I definitely really enjoyed, and others that made me not like the movie all so much. A lot of the music in it was very well done, and Tiana was a likable character. (Ana, I was thinking of you the whole time when we saw it, lol)
*waves to KK* How've you been doing? =]
PrincessB, did you notice what I called you in the previous post? *winknudge*
Haha, that's true GeorgieXO! After leaving for a while, I've noticed the pages grow and grow. Although, unlike some braves, I don't usually pick up after 30 pages unless I really have time on my hands or I'm desperate to. That sounded odd, but I hope people take it the right way, lol.
All right, name bolded and ready for you to see-- I'm good. 😉
And I'm done now. I'll probably be around a little later!
