LoL. Okay, then.

ROFL. Bad mental image. OK. Moving on.......
OK, my posts just went from halfway substanceful to hardly any substance at all...........

LOL.
It is pretty cool. Useful and fairly efficient. Although, when looking for sources for an economic research paper, it tends to run out of viable options quickly.
What? I don't want to know......
LOL. So sad...hey, you only have 1219 posts until you reach Fanatic.

Yeah. Amazing, really if you think about it. How far technology has come, that we actually have a search engine like that.
No, you don't want to know.
Um...........yeah. About that..............I don't think I'm gonna try for that tonight. I was feeling ambitious, but not that ambitious.
*yawns and catches computer as it slowly topples over*
So when are you coming to visit?
"Let no man's ghost return to say his training let him down."
It is pretty spectacular. Fairly amazing that we have multiple search engines like that. Yahoo, Google, Bing..etc.
I will certainly take your word for it.
LOL. Okay, fine then.
No! Don't drop the computer! I have done that on multiple occasions. It usually doesn't have a positive outcome.
Hmm...I don't know. Talk to dad.
Alright, I am off to bed. It is late, and I have a full school schedule tomorrow. It's been great talking with you. Hope you have a great week. Talk atchya' later. God Bless.*waves*

Okaday. Me too. Ditto, ditto, ditto.

Good Mortereve everyone! I hope everyone is well! I am most certainly doing well except for that I have a cold. Ah well.
Anyways! I'm sorry to hear that people were getting snow on the first day of spring, where's the fun in that?
And now for some catch up...
Oh, good!
I hope you enjoy listening to them!
Thanks! Believe it or not, I'm just getting around to doing it... How is life for you?
Things are going well. We've been getting a couple of computers in lately, so the house has had shipping boxes laying around for the last week or so.
School is going well also.
![]()
I'm glad to hear it! New (or new-to-you) computers are also fun...
How is life for you now?
I hope all is well!
Sounds good! I'll probably go back and watch the last season soon until we get the next one.
Sounds like a plan! Have you been able to do that yet?
Yeah we collected alot of the sticks to make a fort and then threw the rest in the woods. These kinds of storms tend to come at least once or twice a year for us. During the winter, the worst possible of times. Hopefully that's it til next year though.
![]()
Forts are always fun...
I remember that when I was younger (probably about 7 or 8) my siblings, cousins and I built a fort in the woods behind my Grandmother's old house. We had it for several years until a storm (and, as we liked to believe for some reason, the neighbour kids) ruined it. Then of course we always attempted to build treeforts and such, none of them ever actually got completed... ah well.
How is life for you?
So how's the weather where you are?
Is the the snow melting? Oh,I can't wait for some warmer weather!
*sends a Lark's way* How are you? I've been praying for you! The weather here has been lovely lovely, although today it has been slightly colder and moreso overcast, but all in all, it's been very spring-ish!
Most of our snow is gone as well. How has it been for you?
Hello! Where's your avatar from?
Competition songs are coming along fairly well, though I need to memorize one of them...
I have about 10 days to get it memorized... But I shouldn't wait until the last moment.
How've you been?
*hopes Queen Susan's songs are memorized by now*
My avatar is from the original tv series of Christy.
I have been good, I believe, busy, but good.
Definitely enjoying the spring weather. And you?
I read in your post that you are moving to a new room in your house, how did the moving go? I hope you are able to get used to it soon and make some new good memories in it!
Oh my goodness! I do the exact same thing!! And I do it way too much... I like and try to point out the negative things in movies and books, just to give my friends a heads up. But I usually make it sound horrible.
Huge ditto here! It's frustrating, isn't it? For myself, I actually really appreciate knowing as close as possible as to what sort of negative content is included (unless it's something really bad), and where it is and such, and so therefore assume that other people would like the same, and then of course I make it sound like the whole movie/book is awful. Ah well.
Have you seen any of the third season of Robin Hood yet? Just curious, because Winty and I were talking about it today.
Alas, no. I think if I could, I'd like to finish watching Season 2 first. We got about halfway through watching it online but the place from where we were watching it had some really bad advertisements and other featured videos that we decided it'd be best to stop. Now that I think of it, I'm even wondering it it was illegal to watch it online.... Anyways.
So perhaps someday I'll get around to it.
How is life for you?
Praying for you!
We were, and it was quite fun! They (our friends) enjoy the show as well. They hadn't seen it before we introduced them to it, and now they've seen the first two seasons and really like them. I agree that Series 1 is really good!
I'm glad to hear it!
Agreed! It's time for spring!
Hurray! I'm glad your friends enjoyed the show!
Good stuff!
Has spring arrived for you? It sure has for us!
I hope that you are able to finish up your novel with much success!
*departs while humming He's My Brother from the Robin Hood soundtrack*
Oooh, the soundtrack! I have that! Do you have it too? I bought it in late '08 and I enjoy it quite a bit, although I haven't listened to it lately. My favourite is Robin's theme...
*waves to Aiden and Fanny* How are you both splendid people doing? =]
*waves to the lovely Bella* I am doing well, thank you, except for a slight cold! And how are you?
Welcome to the Square lover of narnia!
None of my sisters have ever moved out when they were 18, or any other age, really. None of them went to college and then they moved out when they got married, so my family isn't the usual "kids move out when they're 18".
I realize that you were talking to Ruby, but I just wanted to say that I was encouraged when I read this. Meaning, I'm not planning on going to college- unless it's in a few years- and I'm not planning on leaving home right when I'm 18, so it's kind of nice to know that others have done it as well.
*waves to Ata* Ata! Good to see you around again!
Well, I should be off. Have some reading to do. Cheers all!
Dear days of old, with the faces in the firelight,
Kind folks of old, you come again no more.
(Robert Louis Stevenson)
Mortereve all!
Saw episode 8 of Robin Hood last night. It was... interesting.
Good to see you posting more regularly, Djaq!
Oh dear. I can't remember the next line!
Can I get back to you on this?
![]()
Of course, not a problem! I haven't been remembering this scene very well either, so each time I watch that section of the movie...
"They're right." NT1
"No, I wasn't right." NT1. Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel for quotes!
You should just admit that I'm right, because I am. We do! *laughs*
Ah, but if I admit that you're right, then we won't any more, and you'll be wrong. It's a paradox!
We're running out of things to say here.
Thank you! ...Soo, how have you been?
Of course, we always run out of things to saw while we're having another secret conversation. Quite welcome! I've been doing fine, thanks. Nothing interesting happening of late... How about you?
Who is your favorite character so far in Robin Hood?
![]()
Boy, that a tough question. I guess I'd say Allan-A-Dale. I don't know what it is about him, he just seems like a cool guy.
I agree with this statement, but if it's in the Bible, there must be a chapter or verse to address the topic, however indirectly--and there must be verses that address the principles you're using--seeing just the phrase "it's in there" worries me. Is it really? Can I look it up for myself? I wasn't trying to be sarcastic, or to pick on you, in my original comment, just trying to point out something that's bothered me for awhile. (Besides wondering what you use to decide what to listen to, since our family has sort-of similar tastes. Except for me, that's pretty much all it is, taste. Kind of like when I've been asked lately, "Why do you always wear skirts?" Well, at first it was because my parents decided that that was how they were going to dress their little girls (cue oos and awwwwws because we were cute) but now personally it's more habit than conviction. I hope that makes sense!)
Of course, I did not mean to imply that principles for picking music are in the clouds around us... there are certainly verses that explain these things to us. But I don't necessarily know what you'd like to read that you think would be a good basis for music choices. For the information of anyone curious about this topic, the Religious Affections website is a great resource for any questions one might have about music, since I'm not an expert on this. I certainly understand you questions, though, Mel, but I can't necessarily offhand give you a reference that would satisfy your question.
ugh, that was horrible! And so unneeded!

I know, but at least she got what she deserved. So, you say there's only one more such instance?
I know this wasn't directed towards me but, YOU DIDN'T FEEL BAD FOR HIS BRO???!!!! How could you not?!!?!? He had those big blue adorable puppy-dog eyes that make you want to squeeze his cheeks everytime he was on screen, Alan has them too, so I was bawling for them both. Besides, you kinda like Alan's brother, even though he's fairly troublesome...don't you?
Umm... I didn't exactly want to squeeze his cheeks when I saw him... that would be weird. Honestly, I thought he deserved what he got. I liked his brother at the start, but he really becomes unlikable by the end. Anyway, in case I seem too coldhearted, I did feel bad for Allan.
*waves to Atamar and Kk* Good to see you two posting!
Sounds like a plan!
Have you been able to do that yet?
I think we did like several weeks ago... can't remember now. What episode are you all on?
Have a loverly day, all! Mortereve!

Once a SquareOnion, always a SquareOnion.
G'day, SquareOnions!
A little catching up:
Jo, Stargazer...ya'll can keep the snow. We had flurries this morning, and I am ready for it to leave. It is Spring now and that means turkey hunting. You don't hunt turkeys in the snow in the South!;)
I'd love some snow! A TV weatherman last night noted we're close to a first in the over 130 years of records: a snowless March! Almost inconceivable as it's usually one of our snowiest months.
You have a spring turkey season down there? Ours comes in the fall, and there's usually snow. I remember (about 35 years ago) when wild turkeys were pretty rare around here. Now they're common - we've even seen them in our backyard, and we live in a suburban neighborhood.
Thanks for your kind words, Lady Amalthea! I always enjoy the clever wordplay and elegance with which you and your royal husband post, and it's a pleasure having all of your royal family here in the Square.
*has never seen a chicken plucker - or a chicken being plucked for that matter - though both of my parents grew up on farms that had chickens(
I would bring up the NCAA Tournament and the fact that almost every bracket in the country has been busted by the Kansas loss to NIU,
I'm inclined to cheer for NIU as an underdog - and not to mention it's in the state just south of here. There are a few Big Ten schools left for me to watch as well.
Looks like another pleasant (but snowless ) day here today; after lunch I must get out for a nice walk before the heat, bugs, and allergies kick in.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
*Walks into the Square singing Wizard of Oz*
Mortereve all!
Good to see that a lot of people are glad that I'm back...not that someone would be sad that I'm back...but, yeah, whatever. On to catch up, or if the play-on words are still game, "ketchup."
Yeah, I'm glad I can finally understand and give input on all the different conversations about it.
So which character is your favorite?
'Course, I didn't feel so bad for Allan's brother.
Same here. He was kinda annoying.
Congrats about finishing your book and getting a job working with a film crew! What will you be doing?
Thank you. I will be working with the Art Department. They haven't quite assigned me a specific job, but I will be doing costumes, set dressing, that sort of thing. Should be fun.
Princess!!! Good girl for coming back to the Square!
![]()
How are you?
s back atcha! Well, I had some girl in chat that wanted me to come back...
I'm doing very well, thanks for asking. How are you doing? And how are those cute little twins, Jackson and Julia? Got anymore heartmelting photos?
Isn't it fun to have immediate relatives home for Spring Break, p_o_n? Glad you and your brother had a good time. Our son was home a month or so ago ... 'though we call it Reading Week up here and it's in February.
Yes, it is! I told my sister what you call Spring Break up in Canada, and she laughed.
But it does make a little more sense, because it isn't a break at all. They assign a ton of "homework" and my brother is doing more reading than breaking. But I enjoy dinners with him.
As Aiden said, it's great you're finished the first draft of your novel and have a job that will give you much good experience this summer.
Ooh, when is your prom?
Thank you. My prom is April 17th, and as you can probably tell, I'm really excited.
*bounces up and down in her chair* (okay I'm not really doing that, I never really do that, I just get this silly girn on my face when I extremely happy)
Haven't seen you around very often, Jo, on FB or here. What's been going on in your life?
I made a deal with my sisters that once we're done with Season 1 of Robin Hood we'll take a break from it and watch a video from P&P every night. So hopefully in 2-3 weeks I will be done watching it
.
If I may butt into your conversation again, sounds like a really good deal. Except six whole days to watch P&P seems like a long time.
Once I watched it twice in three days....but that was when I was sick.
Btw, I don't know if we've offically met, Glen. *stick out hand to shake and then remembers she is a royal* *cursties*
I spent part of my last shift here watching the first two Bourne films. First time I've seen them. I didn't have the third one to watch. I also want to read the books. My paramedic that I used to work with said they're way better than the films.
Bourne is awesome! I've heard the books are really good, but the plotline is a bit different. So I would suggest really getting down the movie plots before you mixed up all the book plots too. But that's just me, I take awhile to distect a plot. Also, the third movie starts right after the 2nd one ends, actually kinda before...so get that last movie soon.
Really good.
Wow! Its a day for the oldies (no disrespect by that term) to come back. Good to see you, KK.
*reads Ata and KK's half-random, half-substanceful (is that a word?) conversation*
M'kay, well it looks like this post has grown long enough.
*Waves to everyone on her way out*

No, but there was an article in your link that was very helpful. (Actually, there were several, but there was one that specifically fit the referencing Scripture as well as common-sense sounding statements criteria.)

That's a tough choice, I like them all, but I think Allan-A-Dale is my favorite. Not sure why, he just seems kinda cool. I love his accent. Who's yours?
Same here.
He was kinda annoying.

Heya, GeorgieXOXOsmile! I don't think we've met-- you can call me AitB or Bella. *extends hand in greeting*
Hey, Bella, I don't think we have met either, but I have seen you around A LOT! Probably because you have 3255 posts! You can make something up for me, I guess. Some just call me Georgie or GeorgieXO...I don't have very many nicknames that stick though!
Those are two very different films.
Yeah, probably...Sorry!
Everyone, I just got the coolest pink and green lanterns for my room! I'm going to put battery operated flickering tea lights in them...just thought I would tell everyone!

Cool about the fort. I've always wanted to have a tree fort but our insurance won't allow it. When we first moved in to the house we live in now, the previous owner had built a really nice tree house but our insurance made us take it down. I was mad
Life is good . School has been getting better, I'm doing alot more reading, bought some CDs, and I got to watch more Robin Hood last night!
What about you?
I know, but at least she got what she deserved.
So, you say there's only one more such instance?
Haha yeah when she fell in the mud (or whatever it was ) I LOLed
. I thought there was one more scenario before that. Idk. Btw, do you mind if I call you Micah? That's your name right?
Umm... I didn't exactly want to squeeze his cheeks when I saw him... that would be weird. Honestly, I thought he deserved what he got. I liked his brother at the start, but he really becomes unlikable by the end. Anyway, in case I seem too coldhearted, I did feel bad for Allan.
ok well you're a guy. But I am sappy, cheesy, and emotional so, I felt bad for him. I'm one of those ppl that sometimes likes the bad guys better than the good guys . But at least you felt bad for Allan. I felt sorry for Djaq too

We might do it in three nights. I don't want to push my limits though, my parents have decided to institute a bed time. So pushing curfew as soon as it's instilled is not something I want to do .
Btw, I don't know if we've offically met, Glen. *stick out hand to shake and then remembers she is a royal*
