I'm sorry Ali

thanks :(

Oh cool!
lol that would be kind of funny ;))

yeah but my mom wouldn't be that happy, I already have her watching LWW :p .

Just finished watching episodes 9 and 10 :D . I'm glad

Spoiler
Eve turned good! I feel so bad for Much- he falls in love and has to leave :( . Poor Much. I can't believe Guy was the one who tried to kill King Richard. That was a plot twist I was not expecting. The part when they kill the alchemist is so sad too.
Ok I'm gonna stop, I could go on and on about these episodes but it's late and I need to go to bed :p .

Mortereve all!

Saw episode 3 of Robin Hood yesterday.

:D Awesome! I'm glad to hear you're liking it!

Yeah, I definitely am! :D

I know this wasn't directed to me, but I wanted to say something :) . I love Classical, especially Bach and Vivaldi. Also, I'm really interested in your views on music... it sounds like we share some common ground there. I personally believe that in the same way the lyrics need to be judged as right or wrong, the music itself needs to be considered as well if not more so. That's my personal conviction on the matter; I think this subject is, to a certain extent, one of those Romans 14 issues.

Glad to see that we agree about this! :)

Sweet! How were you able to get them?
I'm most glad you liked them!

All of Series 1 is on YouTube. :D
Yeah, same here.

Why do a lot of TV Show get worse the further along they go?! 8-| X(

I know, this wasn't said to me, but I totally agree. You'd think they know enough to quit while they're ahead, but they keep going and it just goes downhill... That happens to too many shows. :(

me either, besides that I've been watching BBC Robin Hood lately. :)

Same here, I just started watching that show last week and I've been loving it! *points to the top of post* I'm only three episodes in.

At first I kinda liked him (one of those villains you almost can't help liking) but then he did that and now I'm just too mad at him X(

As much as he's such a despicable character, he's often quite funny.

I'm off, have a great day, all!

Hey all!
Well todays the day I leave! m/ .... Which mean I will not be getting on here as much :((
I do believe this will be one of my last posts here before I leave......... But if someone posts soon I might be able to get one or two more posts in before I leave for the airport.

Just a touch of Catchup.....

Saw episode 3 of Robin Hood yesterday.

Yeah! The second season of the BBC Robin Hood is not bad it's just the third!
They did that with The Andy Griffith show! On the seasons 6-8 Andy is getting mad all the time! 8-| And was no longer this fun loving guy! 8-|

As much as he's such a despicable character, he's often quite funny.

Yeah that's what it is ;)) He's really funny....

Yeah that's what it is ;)) He's really funny....

Yeah, I heard an interview with Richard Armitage, the guy who plays Guy, and he said Kieth Allen, the guy who plays the Sheriff is always ad-libbing and making up funny stuff as they go. He seems like a funny sort of guy. ;))

*enters square humming Miss You by Between The Trees* My favorite song at the moment. :)

So, I have been having a very interesting day thus far. The most part has been spent working on home work and listening to music (while doing home work). :P And I got to experience a cold shower! That was exciting. I just now finished washing all the dishes after dinner and am now here on the square. And that has been my day. :)

Now to catch up...

Same here :)

I've been listening to Tenth Avenue North's new song via YouTube thus far. And I've been trying to convince my parents to pre-order the CD for me. :) I've also been trying to convince them to buy me an electric keyboard...I'm thinking I should push more for the latter. :P

:p . What's that book about? I hope I finished the book soon too. I wish they told you this at the beginning of the book, but now I have to go through the whole thing and circle Achilles name whenever he is mentioned 8-|

It's basically a first-hand account of a sailor named Marlow and his journey to Africa, sometime in the late 1800s, I think. It was during the time when everyone was searching in Africa for ivory. I can't really say much more than that without spoiling the whole story. :P But it's a very short book and I guess it's pretty interesting. It's definitely not the kind of book I would read more than once (unless I Had to). :P

Well, good luck with that. :) I'm still not sure what I want for my b-day but I have a few months to think about it. :P

Hehe. I'm not exactly sure what I want yet, either. I've got this list that's getting bigger with every passing month and I've got to limit it to about one or two items. The two items on top of my list right now are an electric keyboard and a digital camera. Everything else, I probably could just save up for myself. :P But like you said, I still have a few months to think about it, don't I?

ahh cool, so I'm assuming there's pay involved :p

Yeah there is but I'm working for the family so I'm not getting anything except for food while I'm down there :D

Haha! You sound like my brother! He does a lot of lawn work for my dad and he's always wanting to get paid, but my dad just tells him, "how about food? Does that sound like a good salary?" With how much my brother eats, I sometimes my wonder if he shouldn't be paying my dad! :P Anyway, I hope your trip turns out well!

That's what I've heard. I hope you can go too! Did you get to see Scott the last time you went to a concert of theirs,or did they already have a sub bassist?

Sadly, I didn't get to meet Scott. They had a sub bassist then, but it wasn't Reuben. I forget what his name was, but he's played with people like Britt Nicole and Addison Road.

It will,I'm sure. :) I really only want to earn it for etymology purposes. ;))

Oh! Using it for etymology is really fun! In Biology class, whenever there's a weird word with a Latin origin, my teacher turns to me and says, "Dani, what does this mean?" Usually I can sort of figure it out, but it's not like I have the entire Latin dictionary memorized... :P

I have been very well, thank you. Fighting a bit of a cold, actually, but nothing serious. And how're you? I've never heard of the "Sons of Korah"; they sing Psalms? Sounds interesting, I'm going to check it out.

Good to hear that you're doing well, despite the cold. It seems everyone's getting a cold lately. Colds are no fun. I've been doing well myself. I've had a lot of home work lately, but it's going pretty well. :)

The Sons of Korah sing all psalms! It's really neat, I think, because in the Bible, a lot of the psalms were written by a group called "the sons of Korah". And they do it pretty well. Some renditions of the psalms I've heard don't really work musically, but the Sons of Korah are pretty good for the most part. :)

Just wondering, do you have a nick name (or nick names) that you like to go by, such as Bother, Both, Eustace, Eus, etc... :P

How did everyone take the time change today? Any funny stories?

I took the time change pretty well for the most part. Except for the half day, I was one hour behind. :P And I guess my sister was pretty tired, because she slept for four hours in the afternoon and so I had to stay up with her until midnight watching Doctor Who (which was fun and funny). :P

By the way, I LOVE your Georgie Henley set!! It is so cute. :D

*waves to Libby* SO good to see you on the square! We've all missed you. :) Are you still recovering from vertigo? Oh dear.

That's because it's not polite to start singing a song that's not exactly complimentary to the restaurant and staff in public, and I'm afraid that I might have when faced with McDonalds food. ;)) I don't remember all the words, but I'd probably have started around, 'tastes like cardboard and chews like sponge'. You'd never have asked me back. :p

Haha!! We were wondering whether or not you liked McDonalds food or not, but then there's no denying the fact that it's seriously not healthy for you. :P

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank our hosts and sponsors for allowing... oh, they've gone. Oh well. *waves and yells* I enjoyed myself very much!

I'm glad that you had fun starring in our show. :P It was most fun having you!!

I cracked up at the disclaimer at the end of your post!

We actually submitted our post and then realized that we had forgotten a disclaimer on Mel and Ben. It was pretty funny...glad you enjoyed it! :D

My weekend was splendid! :D Watched P&P '05 on Friday night, went to the local dairy and got hamburgers on the way back on Saturday and then spent the day with my grandmother today. :)

How about you?

Grandmothers are so much fun! I love visiting mine. :) So glad to hear you had a great weekend! My weekend was a lot of fun! I got to spend most of my Saturday at Winty's, which was fantastic! As you can see, we wrote a joint post. We also stayed up until half past 2 in the morning working on a crazy story of ours. Saturday evening, I watched Doctor Who with family and yesterday I got to spend all afternoon at a friend's house, messing around in her "music studio" which was tons of fun!!

I now am trying to convince my parents to get me an electric keyboard, so that I can work on composing and recording my own songs. :)

Oh yes, how could I have forgotten about classical. Some of the best music ever written! And a lot by Christians, too.
I think focusing on lyrics/content is the wrong way to view music, since music itself has waaaay more effect than lyrics. Now, obviously, if there are bad lyrics, then don't listen to it... I know you initially agreed with me, but actually, I know there's a lot of music you've mentioned you listen to that we wouldn't approve of. This is mostly an application of principles from Scripture, so a lot of it is a matter of opinion from one Christian to another, but there are obviously rights and wrongs when it comes to music.

That's really interesting, because I haven't really heard many others' opinions on music. So you're saying that the sound of the music, such as rock, classical, pop, rap, etc, could be a bad influence, not so much as the lyrics? Or the equivalent? I don't believe that the style is what makes music Biblical or anti-Biblical, but rather whether or not the artist is a Christian. If the artist is a Christian, then his Biblical beliefs will naturally come out in the music. But you still have to be careful, because, like you said, a lot of artists testify as Christians but you can tell they're not by their music and what they do.

Yep. :) The room itself is nice... I just don't like leaving behind the old memories in my old room---and my new one is in a completely different spot in the house... Or at least a whole different level, so everything's a bit different. I really enjoyed it where I was--and I was right next to my two oldest brothers, so I would talk with them before we'd go to our separate rooms for bed or whatever. Now it feels like this room is kind of separated from everything... But I'll get used to it I suppose. :)
Do you like your new room? :) I have all my stuff moved in, I should just organize my desk and dresser... And clean the bathroom that's attached--because it's filthy. :p

There are a lot of things I like about my new room. Like, for instance, I get to share it with my older sister. And it's nice being in with my older sister after staying in separate rooms for so long. But, my new room (like yours) is on the opposite side of the house from my old one and my brothers. It's kind of the same situation as yours. I would talk with my brothers before going to bed. But I won't be alone in my room for a couple more years. :)

Haha! I just finished cleaning our bathroom today (it was quite filthy too). :) I now need to get all my laundry organized. I hope everything works out and I'll be praying for you as you adjust to your new move. :)

Thank you! And thank you again! :) Lessons are coming along quite well! We're learning some new songs, so it's quite fun! :)

You're welcome and you're welcome again!! :) Glad to hear that lessons are going well!! You and Djaq are both taking lessons, right? Or is it just you? Anyway, I hope it keeps going well! and maybe sometime we can hear you play. :)

*chuckles at the part where flambeau called Djaq a "Chris Thile wannabe"* That's what I call my older sister!! :P

It is quite lovely! But then, most of their songs are pretty!
I'm doing great, thank you! How about yourself?

That is very true. I'm really excited about their new album release on May 11! :)
I've been doing pretty well!! Not so busy as usual, which is very nice! :)

Well, it seems that I've completed all my catch up!!

Have a lovely evening, or what's left of it, everyone! God bless!

One of the things that I love about the book is the interaction between Jesus and Mark. Jesus is this fun loving person who is.... fun! Not this super religious guy

Haha--but I use it with assurance. ;)
Mm. I definitely believe you can have a deep relationship with Christ... but--what exactly do you mean by "fun-loving"? /:)

Are you talking to me? :-

Whoops, nope. Sorry. I was talking to Bother Eustace and forgot to write who I was quoting. :p

An F style mandolin. :)
How are you doing these days?

;)) Ah, I see. Doing well, thank you! :D My parents are out on a short 25th-anniversary trip by themselves, so I guess I'm kind of--um, in charge. Not really, since I'm fourth oldest at home. ;)) But since my oldest brother will be working--yeah. The rest of them are boys, so I'm saying I'll be in charge of the cooking. And cleaning. And baking. And--keeping the little boys in line. ;) How about you?

As for Buzz, I love him! He's awesome, I only wish he was in it more often; he usually only gets small parts.
..."Monk" ...did you ever see it? I personally always liked that show a little better than Psych; I think it was funnier, and it had less bad humor (almost none, really). Sadly it ended last season, after eight years of running.

;)) Yeah, he seems pretty likeable, and funny as well. :p It is sad that he's not there much. :( Nope, never seen Monk, though I've heard of it quite a bit. I have a few friends who really liked it--or at least one. ;)) But I've never seen any or really know what it's about.. What's the main gist of that show? :)

so God appears as a woman so Mack doesn't build a wall between them or something. Just b/c it would be easier for him to accept a woman than a man. God changes in to a man later though, after Mack gets used to him.

Hmmm. :p ;))

Owl City was coming to Boston and I can't go b/c the tickets are all sold out. I'm very dissapointed.

Aw, that's really too bad. :( That'd be sad. :( I know TAN and Casting Crowns are going to be half an hour away from us in April... but we're leaving that day on vacation. :p Second time TAN's been "in town" and we didn't go. I doubt it's as bad for me though--because I know we probably wouldn't go anyway. :p My family isn't big into going to concerts. *sigh*

Like, for instance, I get to share it with my older sister. ...
But, my new room (like yours) is on the opposite side of the house from my old one and my brothers. ...

I hope everything works out and I'll be praying for you as you adjust to your new move. :)

Aw, fun. :) Before my sister got married we shared rooms--probably for half of our lives. :) Now I'm the only girl. *sniff* ;))
I guess my younger brothers are in the room next to mine... So I'm not completely isolated. ;)) But it's not quite the same I suppose. :) I don't usually go to my little brothers if I have a question about stuff that they don't know either. ;)) Such as--questions about the Bible I guess. :) My older brothers know a lot more then I do. :p
Oh, thank you!!! I think I'm getting somewhat used to it. :p :) Anyway, that's very kind of you. :)

I'd best be going... Folding could be done.... Along with that bathroom that I was talking about earlier.

Mortereve all!

Oh yes, absolutely. I've heard many, many leading music experts testify to that. I think Christians are very capable of writing music that's not glorifying to God. Why does being a Christian suddenly make music with a dishonoring sound become good? And then, on the other hand, people who aren't Christian's are capable of writing good music. Classical, for example, was mostly written by non-Christians, but because of the style and the way they wrote music, classical music can influence one for the better. I wish I knew more about this sort of thing so I could explain myself better.

I just watched episodes 9 and 10 last night but I'm not going to watch anything tonight. We got a movie from Netflix and my mom wants to watch that so oh well :p

My fam isn't huge in to concerts either. I've only been to two and my parents have been to see MercyMe and David Crowder but that's about it. It's kinda depressing. But at least they let me buy CDs almost whenever I want (although I pay for it and they sometimes give me grief for "wasting" my money :p ).

Lark: lol thanks. I love my av too. I made a sig to match but I don't usually do sets so I just used the av. I made it to make myself fell worse about missing the concert ;) .

Oh, I see. I've also been meaning to watch some for a while and only just started on it last week. Haven't had much time to watch, though, so I'm only about 3 and a half episodes in. :|

I hope you get to watch more. It's really good so far. Episode 10 is my favorite, I think, so far :) .

No, neither do I. I don't think he's hard to hate at all. BTW, what do you think of Guy?

He's just hard to hate b/c he's funny and clever-ish. I like Guy alot. He's kinda a nice villain. I'd cry if he died in one of the episodes, even though he is bad, he's kinda good too. :p
