lol me either.

that was me you quoted, not Libby
It is good, I love the songs where they combine the cello and classical music with the rock songs the band plays
Goodbye to all! Wish me luck, I get braces tomorrow.....

I hope it doesn't hurt too much! I had braces since I was ten and only got them off this past Christmas. Getting them on doesn't really hurt, just when they tighten them.
Yeah.
. The episode we watched last night was so sad. I was crying b/c

Oh cool! I'll have to check it out sometime!
you will, it's really good. The first time we sang it was the day after I first saw The Passion. Needless to say I was crying during the whole song...in front of the whole church. Oh well
Yeah they did not need to but it would not have been as touching if they did not.
Yes I would suggest that you read the book, as long as you don't read it with the intention of finding fault with itIf you read it with an open mind you will know way better where Will (the guy who wrote the book) was coming from

lol Same with me when I was watching it!
. And it's funny b/c I'm kinda liking it against my will. When I first started watching it I didn't want to like it
. I don't like modern twists in period stories, but at least there's not much in this besides Robin getting kissed every ten seconds
.
I actually dreamed about the show last night . I tend to dream about what I've been reading or watching lately
. It was pretty stupid...

Honestly, not much. Just the regular routine of school each day... not much more than that! What about you?
@NN: It's in Charlottesville,VA.
Ah,I see. I still do that out of an old habit though.
Oh yes, I knew that. How cool!
lol, I see.
It's "Lothlorien". Not "Lotholorien".
lol
Actually, it's Lothlórien with an accent over the "o".
*chuckles at the Ruby-Winter post, as always*
Those are pretty much my thoughts. I like to listen to soundtracks and classical a lot too. But you are so true when there are a lot of artists who write "clean music" that isn't really Christian or they say they're Christians when they're really not. What do you look for in music? I try and focus on the content, such as the lyrics. But then there are some styles of music that I just cannot listen to (like rap, for instance).
Oh yes, how could I have forgotten about classical. Some of the best music ever written! And a lot by Christians, too.
I think focusing on lyrics/content is the wrong way to view music, since music itself has waaaay more effect than lyrics. Now, obviously, if there are bad lyrics, then don't listen to it... I know you initially agreed with me, but actually, I know there's a lot of music you've mentioned you listen to that we wouldn't approve of. This is mostly an application of principles from Scripture, so a lot of it is a matter of opinion from one Christian to another, but there are obviously rights and wrongs when it comes to music.
@ NN. Heh, well, you're right.
Aye, that it is! I suspect we'll get a teaser trailer possibly sometime during the summer. I would really like to see a model of the sea serpent or dragon, though they will probably keep those two secret until the film is released....
For the longest time I only knew his work from The Mission and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (<--- which I find to be on the goofy side, musically). I think you would Once Upon a Time in the West. It has that sweeping, epic sound you like.
![]()
I guess so!
Yes, most likely. Since those things probably take the longest time to make in post, there will be featured very little in the trailers. I don't know they'll necessarily be kept secret, though.
Yeah, same here. And I agree that The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is very musically goofy. I'll definitely have to check out Once Upon a Time in the West!

Once a SquareOnion, always a SquareOnion.
There's a reason behind it, but that doesn't excuse it to me.
No, it doesn't. What's the "reasoning" though?
You're moving into a new room? I just moved into a different room in our house! And I'm still working on getting all my stuff in there.
I hope everything works out!
Yep. The room itself is nice... I just don't like leaving behind the old memories in my old room---and my new one is in a completely different spot in the house... Or at least a whole different level, so everything's a bit different. I really enjoyed it where I was--and I was right next to my two oldest brothers, so I would talk with them before we'd go to our separate rooms for bed or whatever. Now it feels like this room is kind of separated from everything... But I'll get used to it I suppose.
Do you like your new room? I have all my stuff moved in, I should just organize my desk and dresser... And clean the bathroom that's attached--because it's filthy.
It's hard to get past that point but you would understand it a lot more if you read it.
Mm. I'll still always be extremely skeptical. I mean, really.
So--what truth DOES it have in it?
Some episods are better than others in that respect.
Definitely. I didn't really like Episode 15 of season 3 either... Just--yeah. Too much like a horror movie I guess.
Who would you say your favorite character is? Juliet seems pretty likable... Shawn just makes too many stupid comments sometimes. Gus has his head on fairly straight most of the time... Lassie gets more likable as you go on I think.

Of course, the chief and Shawn's Dad are OK too... One of my little brother likes Buzz a lot.

Lark: Hey! I'm doing well, thank you!! Today my plan is mostly to organize my room, give my brother a piano lesson, practice piano and violin, then--yeah. Random stuff. And cleaning probably.
Tomorrow is "homeschool day" at our Capitol, so we're going to that...

Good mortereve everyone! How is everyone today?
I'm doing good. I am currently trying to get caught up on everything before April, cause I probably won't be around much that month (not like that will be very different in here... ). I am planning on taking a break from online activities (except mod duties), and graphic making (
Maybe I could still do a little bit...), and spend my time that month writing a book! So, basically I'm going to try to do my own NaNoWriMo (which I have jokingly begun calling 'flambeauWriMo'
). I've already written parts of the book, so my goal is to finish the book that month, not just reach 50,000 words. I'm both excited and nervous... but I am determined to do it.
Soooo, enough about me! Time to ketchup!
*Waves to Flambeau* How do you like my Avvie and Sig? A friend of mine made them for me and I love them!

Heya Ben!
Oh, really? Well, how cool!
What do you think of the 3rd Robin Hood season? Do you think it is worth watching?
Did.not.like.it. It's not worth watching. I personally think they should have scrapped the whole thing and then re-written it all. Robin's behavior is a bit irritating through most of it, and by the time the season was over I was feeling like it wasn't the same Robin from the other seasons. The new characters are all annoying (or end up being annoying), and steal most of the screen time from the original cast members, which is a huge shame! The best characters in season 3 are Allan and Much, both of whom are very underused (Allan most of all)! And then the whole 'three-different-gang-members-having-a-crush-on-the-same-girl' thing was sooo dumb.......
Sooo, yeah, I didn't like it. (in case you couldn't tell )

Yep for sure!
Yes my brothers and Dad own it

@ Bother Eustace. Greetings and well met! Welcome to the Square! You seem to be fitting in rather well with us.
Thanks for the welcome!! And I agree with your thoughts on the P&P adaptions - I prefer the '95 version, even if it is nearly three hours longer. However, I've never read the actual book (not yet, anyway); I think my judgement was persuaded by others around me who had read it.
I know this wasn't directed to me, but I wanted to say something . I love Classical, especially Bach and Vivaldi. Also, I'm really interested in your views on music... it sounds like we share some common ground there. I personally believe that in the same way the lyrics need to be judged as right or wrong, the music itself needs to be considered as well if not more so. That's my personal conviction on the matter; I think this subject is, to a certain extent, one of those Romans 14 issues.
Even my older brother thinks Juliet is one of his favorite characters... Probably mostly since she just doesn't say all the stuff Shawn does.
Of course, the chief and Shawn's Dad are OK too... One of my little brother likes Buzz a lot.
Episode 15... was that the one where they went to the "Murder" camp? I didn't like that one either, if that's the one you're talking about. My favorite character... Um, I'm not sure. I enjoy how all of them interact together, I guess. But I do like Juliet. I felt bad for Lassie too! He definitely gets more likeable, but occasionally he lapses back to being unlikeable. As for Buzz, I love him! He's awesome, I only wish he was in it more often; he usually only gets small parts.
I changed my signature image, as you can see, to a picture from the show "Monk" which used to come on right before Psych on the same channel; did you ever see it? I personally always liked that show a little better than Psych; I think it was funnier, and it had less bad humor (almost none, really). Sadly it ended last season, after eight years of running.

No, it doesn't. What's the "reasoning" though?
Mack (the main character in the story) had an abusive father so God appears as a woman so Mack doesn't build a wall between them or something. Just b/c it would be easier for him to accept a woman than a man. God changes in to a man later though, after Mack gets used to him.
