Ben: I'm going to watch more of the first season, once I convince my mom to let us get it through Netflix. If I don't like it I'll probably stop after the first season though.

I like the book so far. I'm past that really long and boring chapter so it's moving along at a quicker and more interesting pace now :)

Back from the dentist and taking a little break before I practice violin... :) Thankfully no cavities. :)

I need a shower also because I was around a fire today.

Haha, yeah--I never really shower if I'm around a fire... I like the smell of smoke. :p If it's a Saturday I might though... just because I need to go to church the next day. :)
Hm, I see you read The Shack... What makes you like it? I've heard many mixed opinions on that book--most of them bad. So I'm just curious what you thought... Though it won't change my already-formulated opinion based on other things I've heard. :p

Do you have an account with Netflix? if so then you should be able to watch it instantly.

Hope you like it! (Robin Hood and the Book) :D

I like it when I'm around the fire but not all the time :p

Well for one thing I like the story, but then how un-religious it is! :p
How it display God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I don't really know how to explain it other then I just like it :P As you can see I'm not too good at explaining myself
I'm sure that book has offended tons of people! But that is what Jesus said would happen in the last days, that people would be offended with Him. And that would count the things people write about Him.

What's your opinion on it? Did you read it?

Hello all! Lovely weather, isn't it? It is here, anyways...Warm and rainy. It finally feels like Spring! :)

Hehe, no not especially. Dentist appointments are never barrels of fun. ;) But they aren't so bad--most of the time. I was just laughing at my statement "Life is exciting"... because I don't have much going on. ;))
Oh, and I just started playing violin... a bit less then 17 weeks ago. :)

Oh, now I see. *phew* You had me worried there! ;)
Well, you've been playing violin longer than I've been playing piano, speaking of which I need to go practice, I have a lesson tomorrow!

@ Winter. Hmm, don't know.... (I know who you are talking about, but I also can't spell his name. :p )

Yeah, I generally like so call him the "Triple Sour Cow", there is an ice skating term that sounds similar, and for some reason someone thought it suited him. I know, I know, it's kinda mean but he wasn't really a gracious second placer.

Well you see, if I find that a person has little mental durability then I ease off to cause no damage.

So, I guess I have some mental durability then, since you haven't "eased off".

See y'all!

*enters square listening to "Safe" by Phil Wickham*

Today has been dreary, but nice. Rain has been drizzling softly all day, but it's not freezing or anything like that. It's really cool and warm-ish, like spring. Absolutely beautiful! I love spring rains!

Speaking of rain, brings back memories of last summer when it rained all day and our youth group was trapped in the park. It was quite exciting. The streets were flooded, and we waded barefoot down them. So much fun!! :)

Anyway, other than rain, my day has had a few sweet moments. School as usual. And then I got my desk cleaned, which was a nice accomplishment (much more arm space now :P ). And then, after cleaning my desk, I went and fixed dinner for my family. I like working in the kitchen (a fact I had forgotten, apparently). I didn't get to fix anything special. My mom had planned hot dogs for dinner, so I just stuck them in the oven, chopped up some onions, carrots, and green peppers. Set out the dishes, etc. It was fun and something I haven't done in a while. I expect to be doing it more often though, what with being the second biggest sister around here and all...

And now enough of the rambling...catch up!

So what have you been up to Ruby?

Most recently, I've been doing home work and cleaning up my desk (a task completed, which I am very happy and proud of). :) Right now, I'm just hanging out on Narnia Web and listening to Phil Wickham. :) A very happy combination. :)

Glad you're feeling better, Ruby!! :D

Thank you, QS! And I'm doing extremely better today now that I got my desk cleaned up. :) How have you been doing?

*waves to CS* How are you? Great to see you on the square!

That's a very good point! No environmentalist will tell you he's striving for perfection, though. But, they do think it's their job to keep the world together or it will fall apart. And, if there were no God, they would be absolutely right and I'd be eco-friendly too. But there is a God, and He's keeping the world together, and also controlling nature meaning that if it's beneficial for an animal to become extinct it will and if not it won't.

It's only from the perspective of a trust in God that you can keep a balanced view of the environment. :)

Hehe, it is a lot of fun. Maybe more interesting if we had disagreed... ;)

Hey, at least we agree on something! ;) :P And, if you'd like, I can try and find a topic that we disagree on, just so we can argue about it...

Oh I see that makes sense. Oh Ruby I spelled it right! :-o :p ;))

Congrats, Ben!! ;) :P

Ruby: lol ;)) . The Iliad is a book by Homer about the Trojan War.

I knew it sounded familiar! I haven't ever read it, but I'm sure one of my older sisters read it for World History I class or something like that...I don't enjoy books like that, so I totally understand why you're not finding it particularly interesting. :P I can't remember, is that a very long book? Homer's books are usually thick and a bit tough to read...(at least, they're tough for me :P)

Thank you. I'm glad you found the little story amusing as well. ;)) (Also, hurrah for Winnie-the-Pooh. :D)

You're welcome! And Winnie-the-Pooh has got to be the most creative children's story ever... :)

Hello all! Lovely weather, isn't it? It is here, anyways...Warm and rainy. It finally feels like Spring! :)

Agreed!! :P :)

And I must be off now! Dishes to be cleaned up and I think my sista wants to watch a movie with me later...

God bless! :)

I have BIG NEWS!!!
Tomorrow,I'm going to the MONTICELLO!!! :D Oh,I'm so excited! Almost as excited as I was about WinterJam. :p
Oh,btw, the Monticello used to be the home of Thomas Jefferson. :)

Ok,catch-up time...

Oh,one more thing! Mama's getting her stiches out today! :D

@Ali: It's just piano, and she sings some different notes. I like it better than the original version. :) Btw,did you know that "Forever and Always" is the Joe Jonas breakup song? :p

Aw,I'm sorry. :(

Ok,so Apollo disguises himself as a homeless man,and he reveals himself to Percy with a haiku:
Dreams like a podcast
Downloading truth in my ears
They tell me cool stuff.

Percy:Apollo?
Apollo:Shh! I'm incognito. Call me Fred.
Percy: A god named Fred?
=))

Really? :-o What happened? I would just die if our power went out and I lost internet connection. :p

Please do! :D I really like German, and Norse, and Celtic, and everthing else. ;)) REALLY like German though. Btw,you know the legend of werewolves originated in France. [/radomfact]

Oh! You're reading FOTR? Very good book. :) How are you liking it so far?

@Dani: That's really funny. ;)) I actually wasn't supposed to get Of June and Maybe I'm Dreaming because my Mom didn't want me buying any more music before Christmas, but it was such a good deal my Dad let me. :P
Five sisters?? Oh,my. Well,I guess could share my room with one of my sisters, but only if I had to. Unfortuantely we can both be a little moody. :P
Glad to hear that you're feeling better.
Have you heard the new TAN single? :)
Wait,"Latin translation"?? You know Latin?!? Ack! I'm so jealous! :p

@Queen Susan: Hey! :) How are ya?

*It's a lonely, quiet night at the Town Square.... Two figures enter from either end of the Square: one wearing a leather jacket and fedora, the other looking suspiciously like a dragon. The two figures stand still as the far off echo of a distorted harmonica begins to play.

Suddenly, a distorted guitar joins the harmonica in the unmistakable sound of Man with a Harmonica. As the two figures approach one another, a solo tumbleweed rolls by between the man and dragon. The music suddenly switches to B.J Thomas singing Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head as the figures meet and walk towards the fountain, chatting all friendly-like*

LOL! =)) =))

@PrinceCor: Aw,I'm sorry. :( Why won't the places you've checked out pay for submissions? :-
I was going to buy it,but bought The Princess Bride instead. :P Maybe I'll buy it someday. *shrugs*
How's school been lately?

*waves at CSLewisNarnia* Ooh! Assistant director? How fun! :) Congratulations!

@Ben:Mmm! I love roasting hot dogs! Not that crazy over potato salad though. ;)) Which is weird because of how I was raised.

@NN: I'm really excited right now. *points to the top of her post :) *
Actually,I don't think we have. ;)) *extends hand* I'm Lark. Annoying, crazy, and at times extremely enthusiastic.
Neat. I always read acronym's as words at first,so the first time I saw that I read "Don't be a pachederm." ;))

So,yesterday,I read "The Death of Hector" from the Iliad. So cool! And I think Thusrday we'll discuss "The Return of Odysseus" from the Odyssey.

Mortereve all!

Yes very interesting ;)) No I have never used a certain curriculum :D
Yeah my Mom still had me do some history like essays every once and a while but other than that I did not do it
Compared to some of my friends I would be called a grammar geek but really I'm not that good with grammar.

Well, do you have textbooks, or do you look up stuff online, or what?
Ah, but you're going to start studying it more now?
But most of your friends are even worse? ;))

That's good that you like it! What part of the US do you live in?

Yeah, it is good since we have it so much. I live in Northeastern US (New England area).

This is really random, but you watch episodes of Robin Hood on YouTube, right?

NN95: No a ellos no le gustan el nieve tan poco. Ellos cren qu el Señor los llamo aqui. Y yo creo asi tambien porco, menos el nieve, es el mejor lugar que a vivimos. (I know my grammer is probably horrific :p ).

Veo... entiendo ahora. Bueno, a mí me gusta mucho vivir aquí con la nieve (¡o más!). ;))
(Grammer? You mean grammar? :P ;)) I'm sure it's better than mine.)

So, I guess I have some mental durability then, since you haven't "eased off".

Indeed you do, congratulations.

*shakes hand* Good to meet you.
Oh, I see. Lol! Technically an acronym is only when you can actually say it as a word, like NASA or SCUBA. So, PPWDKWTM is only an initialism.

So I'm going to be going back down to Florida in a week from today! I'm really excited that I get to go back down there! The only reason I would not be excited is because I would not be able to get on here and talk to you all as much :( ........... :(( But i'll try to get on as much as possible!

We have some history books but we get a lot of our information on Wikipedia. For math we use "Saxon math"
Probably, not that sure what I'm going to do, I'm going to do some kind of history just not sure if its going to be US, World or a bit of both or just famous people :D Like right now I'm going to be doing a essay with my brother (we both are doing one) about the life of William Wilberforce.
Believe it or not yes they do use worse grammar than me :P They like to talk in "computer language" such as "b4" instead of "before" or "u" instead of "you" but other than that I'm not really that much better at arranging my words :p

Yeah, it is good since we have it so much. I live in Northeastern US (New England area).

Oh okay, cool B-)

Actually I watch them on Netflix. My Uncle has an account and he lets me and my family use it.

Oh, I see. Wikipedia is very useful, but not always the most reliable. Anyway, it's certainly a good resource for a lot of information! I used to use Saxon math; it's probably the best there is, though it's quite difficult. Which grade of Saxon math are you in now?
So, for the essays, you go online and find information to compile about the topic? That's a great to learn new things.
Oh, they use chatspeak, huh? I can't stand that! I'm glad no one in the Square writes like that, huh? #:-s Anyway, I like to be well versed in spelling, but also in punctuation and grammar. :D

Oh, ok, I thought I'd heard you mention you were watching it on YouTube, but I guess not! I wish we had Netflix, but oh well. That's neat you get to use your uncle's! :)

I love this song! It's one of those stories that's so depressing, but absolutely beautiful. :)

Well, today has been pretty typical. School as usual. The weather was a little weird, partly stormy and sunny all day.

And now for some catch up... :)

That's really funny. ;)) I actually wasn't supposed to get Of June and Maybe I'm Dreaming because my Mom didn't want me buying any more music before Christmas, but it was such a good deal my Dad let me. :P

Aw, that's sweet! I need to start buying my own music. I really want the new tobyMac album. I've heard three singles from it and I LOVE them!! It's a lot different from his other albums, but I think it's just as good! :) And of course I need to get more Owl City...and a lot of other stuff. *sigh* :P

Five sisters?? Oh,my. Well,I guess could share my room with one of my sisters, but only if I had to. Unfortuantely we can both be a little moody. :P

Oh, I understand that! My roommate sister and I don't always get along. She's the neat organized one, I'm the messy one, I also usually stay up a lot later than her. :P

Glad to hear that you're feeling better.

Thanks!

Have you heard the new TAN single? :)

You mean they've released a single? I heard to of their unreleased singles at a concert. But I can only remember one. It went:
You are more than the choices that you've made
You are more than the sum of your past mistakes
You are more than the problems you create
You've been remade
That's the only one I could remember. :P I love it! And I'm so excited about the new album coming out soon!! It's on the top of my music list of albums I need to buy.

Wait,"Latin translation"?? You know Latin?!? Ack! I'm so jealous! :p

I've been taking Latin for several years. But High School Latin is a lot harder, a lot more work, a lot more vocabulary to do, and a lot of exercises. :(

Yeah, true. If you'd like to try to think of something, go right ahead. ;))

How about this for a topic? What do you think of music? What do you consider Christian music or secular music? This is a topic that's been interesting me recently, especially since I have a keen interest in music. :)

Good for you ;)) Oh I love Phil Wickham! That is his music :P What album do you like most?

I've only heard his newest album "Heaven and Earth". My sister bought it because she heard he was good. I'd love to hear his older stuff sometime. I'm sure it's good. :)

Well, that's all for now! I'll be off!

God bless!

Mortereve, all!

Okay, so since some people seem to be confused on how my quiz here works, here's a little walkthrough/explanation of the first four questions.

Question 1:

Spoiler
The question asks for which of the Pevensies is "more coal". Coal is made from a substance called peat, so the Pevensie that is "more coal" is "peat-er", or Peter. Click on the answer Peter to get the "Correct!" image (all the answers are links).

Question 2:

Spoiler
"All of Narnia was under me." This is in reference to The Silver Chair, and in particular one of the signs that Aslan had Jill look for. Click on the answer that is the name of several signs.

Question 3:

Spoiler
Is man a myth? Or, if you say it out loud, "Is manna myth?" If you know your Biblical history, you'll know that manna is food, so click on the corresponding answer.

Question 4:

Spoiler
Of course, all of these questions are made moot if you realized that, since all of the answers are links to images telling you whether your choice was right or wrong, the easiest thing to do was to simply choose the link that went to a different picture than the others went to. If, by this question, you realized this trick, good for you! This question should be a piece of cake as well. That said... good luck on the next six questions; the trick might not work so well on those questions, and you might find yourself facing four wrong answers...

As for Questions 5-10... yeah, good luck. Here's a hint if you need one:

Spoiler
Look harder.
