I love your attempts at translating what we were saying, Queen Susan! Do you really not know any Spanish? I have a llama named Sonny? LOL!
LOL, no, not really.
I know a few basic things--like the words for English, Spanish, comprehend, etc. I was guessing at pretty much everything, gathering up from one or two words that I knew what you MIGHT be saying.
Haha. I was right on the second generation thing, though I didn't know the word for Scottish.
Haha, anyway. It was pretty funny to try. Though some of the stuff I wrote out I knew was dead wrong. Like the llama one.

Our power is out right now but thankfully we have a generator. We've had a billion gallons of water dumped on us since yesterday so I'm pretty wary about those flood watches...
QS: yes he sings "Wonderin'". It's one of the best songs on the album in my extremely biased opinion . Lol, you're way off on some of them but pretty close on others (concering the Spanish
)
Wow, everyone's translating our Spanish conversation all of a sudden! Good thing we weren't saying anything private!
Lol I know!
(Es divertido que todos traduce que decimos, ahora.)
lol sí
Me gusta Rosetta Stone.
I have to get ready for bed now b/c my dad is going to turn off the generator.

*enters the square with a cold and a sore throat*
So, I feel wretched this morning. My mom is beginning to think that I have strep (is that how you spell it?) But! I started this post last night and I'm determined to finish it!!
EDIT: I just realized that it's been exactly one year and six days since I joined the NarniaWeb forums!
@ Ruby. Sounds about normal then. Same here.
Just doing the usual stuff mostly.
Ruby: Oooh I love that song
. I haven't been up to much, mainly school and shoveling
. How bout you?
*waves to Princess Anna* Lol, a lot of times I'm too behind and too lazy to bother with catch up, so I just drop in to say hi. I hope everything's been going well and glad to see you on the square!!
*waves to peterpevensie* Were we properly introduced? I don't remember...but I'll say hi to you anyway. Good to see you on the square! You really must stop by more often.
Dani: True, and at least I didn't have to drive. I actually recognized Mike's shirt at the show, but I didn't say anything because once again, I was being teased because of my TAN obsession.
*sighs* But I didn't care as much about that.
One of my friends asked me which one I had a crush on. I said,"Well, they're all married. But I don't know about Ruben. So,I don't have a crush on any of them."
But then she wouldn't stop teasing me about Ruben(who,I discovered, has a girlfriend). Oh,and when I was talking to Mike,he told me that they were going on tour again in the fall for their new cd!
Aw man! Some of my friends do that to me too...not fun. Teenagers these days just don't understand what the difference between an honest admiration and fangurly crush is!!!
Oooh!!! I hope I get to see them on their next tour! I am soo looking forward to their newest album.
What's your new av and sig about?
It's from the BBC show Doctor Who. My sister made this set from a screen cap taken from a trailer of series five (The eleventh doctor, hence number 11) which isn't airing until March. I can't wait to see it!! And then the next series of Merlin comes out in the fall...right? Well, I'm excited about it, whenever it's coming out.
I hope they do more of Morgana in the next series, because they sort of have been avoiding her and only bringing her in at convenient times within the second series. My favorite character, though, has always been Arthur...and Merlin. They're such hilarious friends!!
Indeed we do. But now we need something new to disagree on.

Lol, nothing immediately comes to mind, but I'll be thinking on it. Any suggestions?
(by the way, how is life these days?)
*waves to Queen Susan* Good morning to you!! How has life been these days??
Well, I think that's that. I'm finished for now. *reaches for kleenex*
Time for a cup of hot tea, some home work, and then hopefully I'll have time for a nap before I have to leave for class.
God bless!

I figured you at least knew some basic things. Seriously, some parts of it were very accurate! So far, I've been able to understand everything Ali's said, except I did have to look up the word for Scottish.
Yeah, and the part about her dad taking a Spanish class at 15 and failing miserably.

Gooood mortereve all!!
I have returned to do a ketchup post. *finds her last post* Ah, good! Y'all didn't post too much while I was gone.
Yeah it is a really good episode! Yes! I love the show! I just finished "We are Robin Hood" Its kind of sad but sweet at the same time if you know what I mean... Btw is that the last one on Season 2? And is season 3 any good? I have not seen any of those yet, I thought that "We are Robin Hood" was the 3rd season but then now I know its season 2...
Mmm hmm, I know what you mean. Yes, "We Are Robin Hood" is the last episode in season two.
I've seen season 3 and I didn't like it very much.
It isn't NEAR as good as the first two seasons, and I wouldn't recommend watching it.
Yeah I went to Florida for a couple weeks and that was so much fun! We might actually be moving back there sometime this year, I would really like that!
...............Anyway yes Life has been treating me pretty well.
How neat that you might be moving to Florida sometime this year! It's good to hear that things are going well.
Oh! *smacks forehead* I forgot to welcome Glenstorm the Great to the Square. So sorry! Anyway, welcome to the Square!
Djaq, great to see you back. (Hey, that rhymes!)
Thanks! Ah, you are quite the poet. The same is to be said for you. It's lovely to have you posting more regularly in here!
So cool about you taking mandolin lessons with flambeau and your brother. I gather you're enjoying them?
Yes, I am enjoying them immensely! Our teacher is a lot of fun and has a great sense of humor, so that makes it doubly fun.
Now, that is quite the ketchup post!

Thank you! It took a while to type up.
It's a shame Apolo Ohno didn't win gold. But, to his credit, after he slipped and fell into last place, he still came back and beat both Canadians for the bronze. I'd be embarrassed to be those Canadians skaters.
Yes, I was hoping that he would win the gold, but he did do a fantastic job coming back for the bronze!
Just very perceptive! Or it was a lucky guess...
Indeed you do!
Yes, yes. Let's just go with a lucky guess.
*is privileged* (kidding!)
Why, thank you!
"Keep going."
Most welcome!
*mutters* "This is stupid. Baron."
"Then let's have it out right here!" NT2. Exactly.
"Does the term "cruel and unusual punishment" mean anything to you??" Remember the Titans. Does that fit well enough?
It's not your fault. Although... when you post it's like catching up on about 5 posts.
Feast or famine.
It can't be I!
It could be no other.
*Sigh* It is tragic, isn't it?
It is indeed.
Really, that's weird? I can't imagine where you might have seen it. Unless, another mod mentioned it? Or Ruby said it accidently? Or you used to process of elimination based on a comment I made in the names thread? (I highly doubt the last one, I merely mentioned it was in someone's list, but misspelled.)
I think I saw it on Ruby's blog quite a while ago and guessed that it was you, and have since confirmed it. . .
I've been pretty good! A bit tired lately (need to get to bed earlier). How about you?
Thank you so much for your prayers! My sister was supposed to leave Sunday, but due to bad weather, she's leaving tomorrow instead.
Mmm, I know what you mean about needing to get to bed earlier. I stay up too late as well.
I'm doing really good, thanks! Not much going on in my area.
Aha, I see. Has she moved out now? How have things been without her?
Yeah, I'm hoping things will settle down a little soon. Though I fear my hopes are in vain, because in Rhetoric class we have a final oral presentation coming up and I have a historical speech I have to memorize (I don't even know what speech I want to do yet! Any suggestions? It has to be four minutes long, at least). How about you? How's school going?
Oh, dear! Have you thought of a speech yet? I'm afraid that I can't come up with any.
My school has been going good. Math has been giving me some trouble lately, but I'm working through it (literally).
The song "Dental Care" makes me laugh!!

Me too! It's so random but cute.
*gasps* Djaq has returned!
Ahh...you helped out with your sister's kids and...hula-hooped?
Interesting.
Hey, Lucy! Yep! More of the helping and less of the hula-hooping though.
My nieces just got three hula-hoops and all of the kids were playing with them so I tried as well. . . I finally did get the hang of it.
(but, I'm sure I looked rather strange)
Haha, yeah, my sister and I chat together sometimes in the chatroom too.
It's fun, isn't it? I'm sure our inside jokes confuse some of the other people though.

Sometimes staying up late just can't be helped, like when heaps of home work call.
My sister has yet to move out. She's been backed up by bad weather and traveling details. But if all turns out she should be gone in a couple days. I'm actually glad that she's gotten to stay a little longer with us. She usually makes graphics for The Lions Call forum, but she made a few graphic sets for me in the right size for the NW forums.

Mortereve, all!
I'm feeling rather intimidated by the 12 pages of catchup waiting for me, but I guess with skimming benefits I'm better off and rather more cowardly than the people who brave 30 pages and do it all without much skimming. *sigh*
On the bright side, I have a mouse attached to the laptop (even though the dear thing is being very laggy), and I do admit that it's an Apple mouse, but not ashamedly, as it is rather round and cute... BUT, I still am ever faithful to Windows!
What have I been up to? School, crocheting, reading, blogging...nothing out of the ordinary.
And without much further ado... catchup! *settles down with a generous slice of Boston Creme Pie and begins*
Ruby: Glad you've been doing well! Oh, haha, how are the three instruments going? (What instruments are they, may I ask?
)
Yes, definitely. I'm thoroughly sick and tired of all this snow, and everything and as March comes, I hope that we'll have an early spring! Sadly, there's quite a lot of frost around, so I can't get to gardening until late after... But planning in the wait is always fun!
I've been doing good, thanks! Nothing quite so interesting happening, except for the large amount of snow we've been having but thank goodness it's melting finally. ^^ And, also, the spring session of my acting class is after next week, and it's going to be a fun session out of them all.
Thanks! It's good to see you too! It's a shame we don't talk more these days on facebook. Whatever happened to us doing that? Hmm?
About my book: Thanks!! (and I KNOW you've seen my status messages about it. haha!) I hope to tell you some more about it, sometime soon!![]()
Yes, it is! I'm sorry, yes, we haven't been able to talk on facebook-- right after Christmas and all, school and testings get really time-consuming, but indeed, we must make a point to chat on there!
Hee, yes I have, and it sounds like you're doing wonderfully and having a great time writing. (How neat that you have an idea of how to start a second book! ) I had recently stopped by Storytellers and I really liked what I read.
Ohhhh! Have FUN!
Don't fall through the ice, dearie! And I wanna hear about the adventure, once you get back!
(and by the by, I know I procrastinate. and not just with the Square... with LOTS of stuff)
Thanks, I did! (have fun, not fall through the ice, of course.
) It was a fun shkating adventure for the most part, and nice and warm with my m**f and scarf, although the m**f proved inconvenient when I flew over and couldn't hold up my hands to stop. ...
Me too, dear, me too! I think it should be a late New Years resolution for me to fix that problem...
Cor: [spoiler=]Ah, thank-you for the explanation! I haven't seen other plays or movies with Rex Harrison in them, but he is a splendid actor.
Haha, thanks! Yes...after much learning, I think that they ought to have seen the trouble, but I'm getting the understanding that some do like coming home from retreat with bandages of some sort...

Ok. lol, you could if you wanted to, but I prolly wouldn't remember who you were talking to.
LOL! Sadly, I have forgotten what I wished to call you, so I'll stick with simple and sweet "Winty." =]

*waves back to Jo* Thank-you, and the same! How've you been doing?
I'm doing quite well, dear triplet Pebbles! We have not talked in forever.
How are you doing? Anything fun happening?
I, for one, am not enjoying the new Facebook. =( But I guess I've slowly gotten used to it. On the bright side, the photo uploader is faster and more efficient!
Yay, good for you! But you weren't earlier when you mentioned you lost a post. That taught you a lesson!
Yes, that's true. I don't think I was very wise not using it, so it did teach me a lesson...
Well, we don't get exhausted easily. It's just that we have so much to do every day, there's no time to decorate. We don't decorate any time but Christmas.
Glad you got it.Right, time goes by so quickly that's it's easy to move from one thing to another.
That was so long ago, I don't even remember what tests I was referring to, but I assume they went well. You get points off for not dotting an i? Wow. I would flunk every test if I got points off for messy handwriting.Haha, sometimes a number grade sounds word than the corresponding letter grade, eh?
Yeah, I figured that! Mmm, I love going to a small church, because I know everybody by name and everybody is good friends with everyone else. What are some positive sides of a big church (just curious)?
Ah, you are forgiven. We shall say that, instead of getting to two Spanish verbs mixed up, you simply forgot what the native said. How does that sound?
Whoa, whoa, whoa! Verbs do not, absolutely do NOT have masculine and feminine forms! [/outburst] And, actually, quadruple comes after double and triple. Now that we've got that out of the way... you wrote everything right except for the verb, and you understood what I said, so good job!
You got to play a cow? Awesome.I got to play sheep and such when I was in the children's Christmas programs, but I don't count those when counting the plays I've been in. Especially since I hardly remember any of those programs. I don't think I'd like acting class, and I'd never want to be an actor professionally.
In the last play in which my friend died, you only hear that his character died. But in the first play, he got to have a hart attack right on stage. Aw,solemnly and seriously? Well, I'm glad we're not doing it then, because that wouldn't be fun. Back to my friend dying, he did get to do a dramatic dying scene, but the funeral was silent and solemn and it did "capture the audience magnificently", as you say.SpoilerJohn Brooke diesis absolutely a negative for the ending of the book. Oh, and another plus for ending the play where we do,SpoilerBeth gone.SpoilerJo hasn't turned down Laurie's proposal, so, if you didn't know the rest of the story, you would think Laurie and Jo ended up together, the way the play ends
Ok, I thought it was. It's funny, because, as I was watching the movie, I thought Christian Bale made a great Laurie. Maybe I'd think otherwise if I read the book and saw the other movie adaptions. Which version would you recommend?
Ah, I see.
True! It's hard to believe it's actually going to be March this Monday. But the faster a trace of warmer weather comes, the better.
That's good! Haha, yep. Actually, for messy handwriting, if it's really terrible, we have to erase all that we've done messily and re-do it, even if it means the whole book.
My sister has benefited a little bit more from that than I have, though.
True! When one says, "I got a 96% on my test," the one hearing will wonder what the person missed, but of the 96% is substituted with an "A", then it sounds just dandy.
Mhm, going to a small church is pleasant that you know everyone and they know you! Hm, well, some positive facts for a big church is that we can have concerts which reach out to the city and more people can come to church and hear the Gospel, and it's also rather spacious, so that in case there's trouble with one room, there are others to spare. (And of course, if it's well-known church, there's always a chance of Narniawebbers coming to it.
) Things like that.
Thank-you, I was so worried I wouldn't be. LOL, but that isn't what happened! What sounds better is that I remembered what the native said, but absently typed the opposite verb, therefore giving the wrong impression that the native said something wrong. But, you know, if you think that the other explanation's better...
*is really being sloppy with her Spanish* Sorry, didn't mean that.
What I meant was, what did I say that made it "he"? But that was a while, and I can't remember what I said... Mhm, I knew quadruple does, but by saying double triple I meant double + triple=quintuple.
Oh, good!
(Speaking of Spanish verbs...oy, learning and memorizing all the tenses is confusing. How can one possibly remember all those and then pull the right one when talking?!
)
Ahaha! Yeah, it was pretty cool. Ella even made patches which spelled my name out. ^^ It was rather embarassing, because at one point we had to sing a song,
"Deck the stalls in Bethlehem.. Baa baa baa, Moo-oo, Hee-haw."
And the costume wasn't the most amazing thing to wear.
I think I'd only count this one as a play I've been in because I wasn't a cow only, and the play was about a group putting on a play so I think it counts.
Ditto. Several people in my acting class do want to study acting in the future, but I'd rather just do it as a hobby. (Plus, it's more of an acting/writing class so that satisfies the author part of me.) A heart attack on stage? That must've been capital to play! Yep,
Oh, that sounds like such a perfect ending for the book! If only it ended that way, but then again, Lousia May Alcott had the right to do what she pleased with her story. But the ending of your play is definitely majority of the fan-preferred ending.

Haha, he did play Laurie really well in some parts, that's true but not in quite alot, in my opinion. Hm, I'm not sure which version is the best, as the one with Christian Bale is the only one I've seen. I think I'd recommend the book, over all. =]
Good for you! Two thumbs up!
Do you happen to remember what version you were upgrading from?
Hurrah! Ah, I don't remember which one I upgraded it from, and I don't know if I did upgrade it from any, because I just installed it in this computer which didn't have it...if I understand correctly.
[quote=Queen S

And I think I'll be playing one called Norwegian Air, but I'm not sure. But I must "practice, practice, practice!" DoIreallyhavepermissiontoramble, okay, thenI'lltellyouaboutthetimethatIalmostknocked
downayounglassCubbies,andtotrypreventthat... (the end of this story is quite embarassing...what happened was that I was trying not to push her while I lost balance, and in my desperateness of frantically looking for something to catch so I could regain balance, I chose the low table and in the process, swatted a cup with great force which sent it flying a couple feet to the side, spreading water everywhere. And then a little girl across the table stared at me, unamused.)
Goody, thank-you! n_n I don't know if I can ramble at the moment, because of something called school.
Enough about me, how's life been for you, m'dear? =]
Ah yes indeed!
But I like almost everything else about being an introvert, so I really can't complain.
![]()
Ditto! ^^ I don't know the complete list of characteristics of an introvert, but I like being one either way.
Mhm! Hurrah for Jojo, and that the idea seems fitting. Shall we tell her? =]
Your Bible sounds fantastic- I've lately often wanted to look into something like that, or a somewhat detailed timeline or overview that would give me a good idea of what was happening when events in the Bible were happening. The other day I was surprised to find that people like Buddha and Confucious were actually before Christ! (Why them in particular is because I was doing a lesson on missions and they were listing some of the major world religions and they included those two...) It was actually kind of shocking, but it's nice to have even that little bit of information for the image in my mind.
![]()
Yes, it's really fun to look at! I had noticed that it also showed that the Native Americans had migrated quite a long while ago, and I was really amazed by that.
Wow, I hadn't known that! It is nice to know such as that. (And this is definitely one of the reasons why a big dream of mine is to be either a Bible, Egyptian, or Native American archeologist.
)
Counting bottle caps sounds fun, but I think drawing maps would be easier done (not really
). I do like the idea though! Oh, and do you like to play in the snow?
^Lame me.![]()
LOL, for a second, I was a little confused and then I realised we were rhyming.
Oh dear, you say the activity of drawing maps we could take, but, yes, it isn't all cake. Unless, of course, we drew a story-book one, for that would be quite fun!
Playing in the snow is novel, but I cannot say that I like to shovel.
Aw, it wasn't so bad.
A belated conga-rats on your second anniversary! It has been splendid getting to know you!
*waves to Lark,Gazer, Liberty, Poggy, Ben and everyone else*
And, now, after an exhausting day of school and catchup which took some time (but was still a joy to do. I apologize if I missed anything said to me, due to leisurely skimming through the pages.
), I am thoroughly finished and will resort to sitting under one of the stately oak trees, spreading a cozy, delicious, fluffy fleece blanket and having perhaps forty winks, nicely warmed by my blanket and the campfire.
*is suddenly woken up by something hitting her head, and alas! What could it be but a ripe chocolate piece that fell off?" Wups, wrong tree... *goes off to the preferred tree rubbing her eyes, dragging aforementioned blanket behind, and holding onto the piece of chocolate to gnaw on...just kidding about the last part *

Bella!!! So good to see you on here.
What instruments am I playing right now? Well, I'm mainly working on piano and I'm trying to clean of the rust on my *cough* violin skills and then I hope to start viola soon (very soon ). Viola looks like so much fun.
Oh, I am so sick of all this cold weather too. Worst part is, the sunshine is being deceptive right now. It'll shine clear and beautiful in the mornings and then by the afternoon it'll be all gray and dull again. I'm so ready for spring.
Snow is always exciting, but as you surely know, it becomes very tiring after a while.
Acting classes? That sounds like a lot of fun!! I've always wanted to take acting classes (I seriously need them, lol). Well, it's good to hear from you and it's great to know that you're doing well despite the snow and cold.
God bless!

Mortereve all!!
How is everyone on this fine......and cold mortereve?
I've been good. I went and laid down for a minute this afternoon and woke up just a few minutes ago. Didn't know I was that tired.
I agree with y'all it is way to cold. It did snow here the other day, but nothing amounting to much. Ruby, I can't say that I've ever been sick of snow, but that said I've never seen over an inch of it either.
Wow that was some post Bella.
This thread has been very slow this year.....well, ever since we've started it actually.
Well, enough of my useless rambling. Wasn't even that interesting if you ask me. I'm kinda out of it tonight. Not really looking forward to getting up early tomorrow.
"Whenever you feel like criticizing any one," he told me, "just remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages that you've had.”
*Cor and Vern enter the Square discussing tonight's dinner*
Mortereve all! Well, tonight I made homemade pizza! As always, it was delicious (hey, I can brag on my own cooking if I want too).
*And this time it's actually the truth. I still can't believe you made half a dozen pizzas tonight, Cor.
*
Well, I had some help from the Royal kitchen. Just don't tell anyone, k?
*Umm, Cor, you just told everyone in the Square.... *
Drat.
Well, I suppose I should start catching-up....
*Cor and Vern take their usual spots at the fountain*

@ Ali. Quite welcome, miss Ali!
Exactly! She (Emma) got on my nerves a little too much especially at the beginning, for her to one of my favorites heroines. Still, I'm glad she finally came to her senses by the end of the book.
I thought her relationship to Mr. Knightly was very cute.
(yes, I said "cute")
Lol! It just appeared to me as well! It's stalking my avatar!!
@ PP. Glad to know you're not dead or "mostly dead".
Hope you can stop by again soon!
@ Lark. Ah yes, papers and such can get in the way of pleasure reading. Well, when you have time, I highly recommend Sense & Sensibility. It's my favorite Austen book so far.
Thanks! Djaq did a marvelous job, as always.
Heh, I've been listening to the Beatles since I was young enough to remember.
KingLune is a big fan and would play the records/cassette tapes for me as I was growing-up. Maybe that's why I have a slightly British accent....
@ NN. They have, but usually they will just release a "Special Edition" with a few more minutes of music. Thankfully, labels like Intrada and Varese Sarabande will release complete editions of scores, usually older works that never really got a good presentation before. The big studio labels (Disney, Reprise, Sony Classical) have released some complete or near complete albums for their more popular titles: Star Wars (Original Trilogy), LotR: Complete Recordings, Beauty and the Beast, etc. Pretty much your best bet on complete scores would be to checkout one of the specialty labels that focus on just film scores.
I'm not sure exactly. I haven't been keeping up with VotD news very much..... I wouldn't be surprised if it is, though.
I haven't seen very many 3D movies, so I can't really form an opinion on them. I do remember going to an IMAX movie at the TN aquarium and having to leave because the glasses made me sick.
@ Winter. Yes, just a tad.
I watched the first few dancers on the first night, but soon got bored with it and didn't watch it anymore. On the other hand: Did you see the women's free skate last night? The South Korean girl was AMAZING!
@ QueenSusan. Glad you're doing well! (Heh, I hope it was not in a bad part of town.
)
I've been/was watching the figure skating. I really enjoyed it this year. Most of the people that I wanted to win won, so I'm happy.
@ Djaq. Your welcome!
*Very glad to hear you are both doing so well. From what I heard from Cor, MotW sounds like a lot of fun. Glad you enjoyed it! And if I'm not mistaken, isn't Flam MotW now?*
Ah, O.K. I'll have to check them out soon then. Heh, kind of an odd username for posting Robin Hood videos...
"Legend of the Seeker" is fantasy TV show that looks like it was filmed in the same locations as LotR. It's a really weird show.
Glad you understand.
And by now as you know I have received and sent you a "thank you". Of course, I guess it wouldn't saying it again so..... Thank you! I would be complete avvie-less without you and the other great graphic makers on this forum.
Well, the length wasn't that shocking, but the number of quotes to me was a little surprising. In a good way, of course!
@ Bella. Aye, that he is.
Welcome! Hmm, I'll never understand those types. Unless they like pulling up their pants leg and saying "... and I got this one from snowboarding and that one from when the So-and-So tripped over my leg and..."
---------------------------------
O.K, that does it for me. I hope everyone has a splendid ( and warm) evening!
*Cor and Vern exit the Square, but not before the Dragon lights the nightly fire for Jo whenever she stops by*
Avvie by the great Djaq!

*warms her hands by last night's fire, which is now only fading embers* (Thanks for the thought, though, Vern and Cor!)
At that time last night I was watching the Canada/Slovak hockey game. And now it's *WOOOT* Canada versus US tomorrow afternoon. What a game that will be. Don't you wish we could all be in the same room watching it? Fanny and I would be cheering for one side; the rest of you for the other.
Speaking of PMs...You still owe me a PM from like, 2008 or something.
You're not keeping track there, are you, Winter? Oh my, and I thought I was caught up with those 2008 PMs. If you want to send it my way again (all the way from the old forum), I'd be glad to see it ... and respond this time.
Wow, Ruby, what a fun (and not fun ) Saturday you had! Hope you're not still sore now ... five days later.
Narnia Girl, how was your sister's 11th birthday? And how cool you're writing a story! All the best with this! Yes, I figured you'd rather enjoy that Southern Gospel picnic.
Wow, Ben, you're moving to ... Florida? Are you looking forward to this change? And, how is your cold? Also, Amazing Grace is one of my favourite movies. What an inspiring story. It motivated me to pursue studying the life of Wilberforce a bit more and he has become a person I highly and greatly look up to. Can't wait to meet him in heaven!
PC, what a lovely Wednesday spent with your mom. Moms are the best! (Well, dads are right up there, as well.) Did Vern join you?
*waves to PA and heartily welcomes peterpevensie back to the Square* Wonderful to see you here again! Are you ... graduating from university this year?
Lark, I sure hope you can make it to that TAN/CC concert in April! And thanks for that partial translation (rusty, or no). 'Cause I hadn't a clue what they were saying in Spanish. (Here in Canada, French is the language we learn.)
Wasn't it NN and Sonny who used to have those Spanish conversations on the old Square? Then others sometimes joined in as well.
PrinceCor, wonderful news about your ACT score! Vern, you wanna see a real drum roll?
And here is a celebratory cake! (I tried to find one that said ACT, but didn't succeed.) And Vern, before I forget, here is a variety of dipping sauces to go with those cockroaches.
My dream is living in some very, very cold place.
*agrees and doesn't think we'll ever convince GtG otherwise*
NN, I didn't care for the Oval Office scene either in NT2. Dumb and simply not appealing.
flambeau, Oscar is a B.E.A.U.T.Y!!! And I kind of like that angle: it's really unique. What a gorgeous mandolin!
Louise the First! Ah, you did as I commanded requested. Good to see you in the Square again.
All the best with your school busyness.
Ugh, Liberty, I've heard Vertigo is plain miserable. Glad you're gradually getting better. Were you sick to your stomach, too? (That's such a lovely smiley, is it not?
)
You're so fortunate to be getting all that snow, NN. We've had a good amount in the past week (more than the rest of the winter put together), but I think you have much more than us (lucky ducks!). Enjoy! Ours looked like Narnian snow yesterday, especially.
Excellent about figuring out the entire song on the piano from scratch, GtG! What song was it, if I may ask?
Well, I actually mentioned it earlier in my post there
Wups serves me right for skimming!
Sounds like a fun dream. I always enjoy dreaming about NarniaWebbers, 'though I haven't had one for awhile now. I distinctly remember two that really stand out: one with wisewoman and Val in an ancient, ruined city; the other was Meltintalle selling lemonade at a stand (when I thought she should have been selling books).
Yeah, most dreams are so much ... fun!
Oooh, congrats on your one year anniversary, Ruby! But so sorry to hear you might have Strep. Ugh!
Before I forget, I hope pogginfan and Louise the First had wonderful birthdays!
Super about the mandolin lessons, Djaq. It truly helps when a teacher—whether music or school, or anything—has a great sense of humour.
*skims quickly and gawks at AitB's mammoth post*
Tiana! I wouldn't call that useless rambling. I always enjoy when you stop by.
Yes, you're right: this Square doesn't go an nearly the pace of the old Square. I wonder why the change ... But I'm kind of glad, actually. Btw, has cep stopped by here recently? He is missed.
Well, we have extended family coming over today for a games day, so I'd better go and continue preparing. Have to finish making my Sloppy Joes ('those are no relation to me, btw )
Good day to all you SquareOnions!

Hey Everyone! How are you all doing!? Hope your lives have been Fantastic!
Okay a bit of catchup...
Ruby: I will tell you how it turns out
Bella: Wow! What a post! How long did it take you to do that Catchup post?
Wow, Ben, you're moving to ... Florida? Are you looking forward to this change? And, how is your cold? Also, Amazing Grace is one of my favourite movies. What an inspiring story. Well not completely for sure... But we are going to be moving out of this house and then we will get into the motorhome and go down to Florida and work then we will see if that's what God wants us to do... But yes I do REALLY hope that we move down there! We used to live there for 6 years and then we moved up here to Oregon... But we have not been able to find work up here so we might move back down to FLorida.
I think that it is one of my favorites too! Maybe I should study his life! That would be cool!
Well I'm off! *Rides along*

Oooh, you watched the Canada-Slovakia game too? So did we! I must admit I was pretty tired this morning from staying up until then (although it wasn't all that late) but it was worth it!
It was very nail biting at the end though!
Maybe it's actually a good thing we all won't be in one room watching the Gold Medal Game, after all, we may be rather outnumbered and all. Ahem. But it would be fun to meet everyone else.
*pulls out her red-and-white wig, her Leaf jersey (alas, I don't have a Team Canada one exactly, just a Toronto Maple Leaf one...) and other Canada related stuff and sets them aside for tomorrow*
I'll do a catch up post shortly, I hope. Hope everyone here is well!
Dear days of old, with the faces in the firelight,
Kind folks of old, you come again no more.
