That's good to hear! I'm still recovering from this past weekend. Friday dance lessons, work out at the YMCA Saturday morning, and then I was at a birthday party all afternoon and with my friends at the bowling alley Saturday night. I'm still extremely sore and I don't really know why...probably because I'm not used to being on my legs all day like that.

It's been a while since I posted on the square. *guilty*How have you been doing?? Anything exciting happen in your life lately?
Wow sounds like you have been doing a lot lately!
Well I just got back from Florida and that was a blast! and now it looks like we will be moving out of the house that we are in right now by the end of March if not before. We will either be moving to Florida permanently or will just be working down there for a while.... So thats what has and will be happening with me
Benjamin, I've been doing pretty well.
Hey, do you happen to know when the next Ranger's Apprentice book comes out?

I'm not sure when it comes out Have you read Erak's Ransom yet? If so is it good?

Mortereve all! Guess what? I got my ACT scores today!!!!
Aaannnddd, I made.... *Vern taps his claws on the cobblestones in a mock drum-roll*..... 21!!
It's not exceptionally high, but I'm quite pleased with it. I can graduate now!!!
*Cor and Vern pass around bottles of root beer to all (or if you dislike root beer, then any drink of your liking )*
Now, for a catch-up post:
*Cor and Vern take their usual seats at the fountain as Cor begins playing some of Once Upon a Time in the West on the guitar*

@ Lucy. I think you meant "I liked the book over the movie"? Then yes, I preferred the book over the film. The book was more interesting IMO and I liked the Twilight Zone-esque twist at the end that is completely given away at the beginning of the film.
If I remember correctly, it's a trilogy or something. Fanny or Jo could tell you more about it.
@ Fanny. Very true! It's like watching LotR on TV and all the little cuts and tucks they always make. Granted, sometimes TV edited versions can be better (some movies that have a LOT of cursing in theatrical format have hardly any in TV form).
Life's been good as of late. Everything going along as usual, but it's been nice just having everything "normal".
@ Ali. I'm really enjoying Emma. I'm getting near the end of it now. Princess has recommended Northanger Abbey as well. I think I'll take a break after Emma, though. Too much Austen can be a bit.... taxing.
@ QueenSusan. Nice to see you around! How have you been of late?
@ Djaq. DJAQ!!!!!
It's soooo good to see you around here again!!
*Hello miss Djaq! Long time, no speak! I trust you and Flam are well? By the way, Congrats on being MotW! *
Umm, I have no idea.
Good, good. Glad to hear she is doing well.
I'll be sure to let you know. I might have to get on youtube to watch an episode or two. Is it anything like "Legend of the Seeker"?
Eeh, sorry to hear you were sick, but glad to hear you are all well now!
Quite welcome, Djaq! Most of the food was for Wren's birthday.
*kidding!*
On mentioning my post count being higher than yours: What else and I'm suppose to do?
Very muchly welcomed! Ah yes, I think I still have that avvie, BTW.
Speaking of avvies, I'll be getting in-touch with you soon about a new avvie request.
*amazed at the length of Djaq's post and at the number of times she quoted him *
@ Jo. Ooh! Ahh! Thanks for the guitar cake, Jo!
*Hmm, cockroaches... Vern picks up one of the bugs and pops it into his mouth. Needs a little salt and maybe some dipping sauce, but they're good. *
@ NN. *laugh* I do believe Vertigo is a very well done score, but Psycho is REALLY overrated. Kind of like Titanic.
Oh, that's what they call it when they are made. I guess now it would be more appropriate to say "etched" instead of "pressed".
The term comes from the old days when they literally "pressed" LP's.
Oh, well, in that case... never mind. Oh yes, there is an ongoing debate about this subject. Also about CD's vs MP3's. Both have their plus's and minus's. I think it will be a debate that will be around forever.
@ Winter. Thank you, thank you! *bows* Well, I can now watch Lord of the Rings or Lawrence of Arabia if that is any indication.
Yes, that's something I've noticed as well. *shrug* I sometimes/most of the time disagree with the score that the judges give. (granted, this depends on the sport and how well I like the athlete)
@ Ruby. Hello there! How are you doing?
-------------------------------------
Whew! That was a lot..... Well, that gets everything for this evening. I'll be around for the rest of the night.
Talk with all of you later!

No. But otherwise, I loved the rest of both of the them, too.

Gotcha. Well, I don't think either is my taste.
Oh, I see. So, you were saying that they released the LPs/CDs before the score was even finished being recorded, huh? That's strange.
Well, I imagine you know much more about this stuff than I, so I won't argue. I imagine, since you take the LP side of the LP vs. CD debate, you'd take film over digital video?

How's is everyone doing? I'm doing quite well! Just thought I'd pop in for a semi-quick ketchup post since 1) it's been a while since my last one, and 2) I'm not sure I'll have time to do one during the next week.
First though, I believe that I said I would post a picture of Oscar. So here it is! (I realize that the angle isn't the best, but I wasn't really thinking when I took the picture. ) Meet Oscar!
Ketchup time! Here we go... (I say 'we', I mean 'me'. )
flam! You haven't been in here in a long time, either? Well, welcome back, from one who has barely returned, herself. And you're without Djaq for another week.
It's special you two are so close! And I love the name of your mandolin. What fun you're taking lessons! Oh yes, I think we'd all rather like to see a photo of Oscar.

Hello, Mrs. Jo! Nope, I'm afraid that I have been rather absent for the last few months. Trying to stop in here a bit more often, not sure if I'm succeeding yet or not.
Ah yes, I did manage to survive without Djaq, and she is now home! *sighs contentedly*
Thank you so much! I am really enjoying lessons! It's very different from the piano, but it's still quite fun!
@ Flam. "How rude!" C3PO, Empire Strikes Back.
"Oh, get over it!" - Cedric, Robin Hood.
Oh, and yes, I was able to manage without Djaq! Thank you very much!

F2,
Ummm, well, I didn't mean to cause a debate. But I am particulary more fond of being more serious, but I do have many moments when I do burst out into random energy where I cannot be serious.
I could never be fully serious. And hmmm, I can enjoy movies where it's unrealistic (how could I not enjoy Narnia where animals speak?
). But it seems to be harder for my mom when it comes to modern day unrealistic movies.
And it's great to see you around again too, Djag!
