Another song that always makes me smile!! :)

Well, nothing really interesting has happened around here lately. My sister, JMoon is moving out Sunday!! As in, leaving our home, hours away!! :( I don't know what I'm going to do without her...

Everything, as in school, has been going well.

I'm still working on Oliver Twist and picked up another Ted Dekker book at the library for fun, because they're always exciting books and I finish them pretty fast.

Okay...enough said about meself. Time for some catch up!!! :D

Ruby: Oh yeah, Rose is only in the 6 hour adaption actually. They usually cuy her whole part out.

That's sad, especially since Rose was such a good character...not to mention important!! It seems to me that the plot loses a whole lot of essence when they cut her out...

About the Oliver Musical:

Anyway, I think the Artful Dodger was my favorite character in the musical. Probably because if I was a character in that movie, I would be the Artful Dodger. :P

* waves to Ruby and GTG*

*waves back to Libby* How have you been? Have you finished recovering from Vertigo yet?

@ Ruby. Well, no matter. :) Yeah, math is the subject I really dislike. All the others are O.K, some better than others but mostly O.K.

Same here. I think the only subject in school I enjoy is music...all the others I'm just doing to complete my high school transcript.

Ruby, yes, we still have around 30 inches. I guess a couple inches have melted by now. But we're supposed to get more snow - a few inches - this afternoon. As if we didn't already have enough! 8-|

Aw, that's too bad!! Snow is nice and all, but it gets tiring very fast. And with 30 inches?? :-o You certainly don't need anymore!!

The first signs of spring are starting to show here...the suns coming out and our silver maples have buds on them!! :) I hope it stays warm.

Oh, you teach Irish Dance? :D I always wanted to take Irish Dance lessons.

Yeah, I'm teaching now, or trying to teach. :P My students are bitty kids with very short attention spans so it's hard to try and teach them seriously while at the same time keeping it fun and them active.

I highly recommend Irish Dance. It's so much fun! It can get really expensive, but I'd definitely say it's worth it. :)

I think it's common knowledge that people concerned about health eat things that everyone else considers gross. ;)) If you don't care about health, you can go ahead and get fat eating sugary stuff that doesn't taste good anyway. Fine, the whole argument is irrelevant. Does that mean you concede? ;)

That is very true, Aiden. Take my mother, for instance and her cooking. Actually, a lot of the things she cooks are really yummy...but sometimes I wonder what's inside our soup at dinner... /:)

Me? Concede? Never! But I have a way of subtly dropping arguments... ;) :P

'Course that doesn't make you right.

Perhaps we should start arguing about something that can actually be argued...I mean, arguments are completely fallacious when based off of nothing but mere opinions. We should argue about something more factual, like whether or not the sky is really blue... ;) :P

@Dani: Life's been pretty good for me. :) Other than some people not being able to mind their own business...*sigh* I really hate it when people try to play matchmaker with me. :p

Aw, that's no fun. Living in a large family, I understand how annoying it is to have people poking into your privacy a lot.

And I'm going to WinterJam Saturday! I'm really excited 'cause TAN's going to be there. :D

Oooh! Really? I'm not going until a week from this Thursday. I'm really excited about seeing Tenth Avenue North too!! I hear they have a new member in their band...I have to get him to sign my Bible too, though I really wish that Scott was going to be there so he could sign my Bible. The last TAN concert I went to, Scott wasn't there... :( And apparently he's not going to be at this one either.

Who's that in your avy? :-

It's Nicholas Nickleby, from the movie based off of Charles Dickens' book Nicholas Nickleby. I've never read the book, but I really liked the movie. My sisters have all read the book and I'm planning on to after finishing Oliver Twist. :)

I really like your avvy/sig by the way. Rising_Star is so talented and I love the show Merlin!! :D

*waves to JoJo* Oh! You got to watch Northanger Abbey? My sister was in a play based off the book. She played Catherine. :) I've never read the book though, or read the movie, but I really, really want to. :)

I have yet to see the new Emma movie adaption, though I really want to see that too... :)

That looks like all the catching up I've got for now!! :) Have a nice day everyone! :D

God bless!

*comes in "dancing" to TobyMac's song "Funky Jesus Music"* :p

RubyGamgee: I know! They usually cut out that guy she likes too, obviously since she's not in most, I can't remember his name at the moment :p . I agree about Dodger. I love him in that movie, Jack Wild is amazing! Although they do

Spoiler
change his character a bit and such, he's just too plain likable to complain! :p
I love the part when the street sweeper pushes him and Oliver off the stairs and Dodger fwacks him with his bread :p :)) !

I have yet to see the new Emma movie adaption, though I really want to see that too... :)

You should watch it, it's great :D

*wanders into the square listening to The Best Thing by Relient K*
Another song that always makes me smile!! :)

It used to make me smile until Matty T broke up with the girl he wrote it about...now it's makes me cry :(

Has anyone seen the movie Food, Inc. ? After watching it, it makes you think twice about what you feed your gut :p . I'm never gonna eat out again! I'll stick to my homemade kombucha and farm fresh vegetables and grass-fed meat, thank you very much. Actually, the movie won't impact my eating habits that much b/c I already have a personal vow to never eat at McDonalds again. I've kept it for about 7 years or so :D :p . Wendy's is my only downfall :p ...[/random rant]

Catch-up time! :D

Before I start,my sister just told me the strangest thing. She told me that last night she dreamed the she was stuck in High School Musical 3 and that it was complete torture. ;)) =))

@Jojo: Well,I didn't really have that much motivation. We're studying the Industrial Revolution in history(which, in my opinion, is rather boring. I prefer medieval history.), ans Spanish is absolute torture. I guess, I just wanted to make it to day 100(which was today! :) ) before my sisters. ;))

@Ali: You're not going to WinterJam?!? :-o No!!!!! :(( :(( :(( I'll be sure to tell you about it,but I wish you were going. :( I know you like Fireflight so I'll try to take a lot of pictures of them. ;) Still can't believe you're not going... :(

@PrinceCor: Why thank you! :)
You like Jane Austen books? I've only read Pride and Prejudice, but I loved it. I've been wanting to read Sense and Sensibility, and some others, but I haven't been to the library in ages. But hopefully, I'll be going sometime soon fot an english project.

@WinterStar: Oh,I've heard of that show! I've only seen regular NCIS. Is NCIS Los Angeles any good? :) BTW,sorry I got mixed up. That girl's hair reminded me of Gwen for some reason. Haha, you're telling me! Me and my sis love it! She's always like,"Poor Merlin!" Now that you mention it,I remember you having it. Hehe, sorry for confusing you. I'm actually debating on changing it to the one Rising_Star used to have that said "a prophecy tells of Mordred and Morgana united in evil" I love the effects she used on it! :x

@Dani: Well,my family aren't the ones teasing me,but it's still rather annoying. :p
I was actually originally going to WJ this Thursday, but one of our group leaders has parent-teacher conferences on Friday,so we decided to go to the one that's three hours away. 8-|
That's cool about getting them to sign your Bible! The "new member" is Ruben Juarez and he's been playing bass in Scott's place. I'm not really sure if he's an official member though 'cause he's not on the new album's cover...
I've never heard of that book. Is it any good?
Oh,isn't she? I adore her Merlin graphics! They're amazing! Thanks,btw. :)
Oh,goody! :D Do you watch Merlin on NBC? Me and my sis have been watching it via youtube. We're almost done with the first season.

I haven't watched a single Olympic event. I feel like such a traitor. :p BTW,am I the only one that thinks of Percy Jackson even time I hear the word "Olympian"? :p

I haven't watched anything either, so don't feel too guilty :p . I also think of PJ, and I happen to be reading the book at the moment too... :D

@Ali: I loooove the PJ books! :D I own them all. Which one are you on? :)

I just saw a local newspaper advertising WinterJam. It had the captions mixed up. Under TAN's picture it said,"Newsboys" and under the Newsboys it said,"Tenth Avenue North." ;)) =))

*bounds into the Square, panting* Quick, quick ketchup. My little brother is waiting for me to get off the computer... *groan*

Winter, that happens to me sometimes too! My mom usually goes to the library while I'm doing piano lessons. Sometimes I manage to convince her to take me later in the week, though.

NN95: Hmm...that's true about Ian and Mitch. I do love NT1, but I think I like 2 just a bit better...I love when they're at Buckingham Palace and all those scenes...

Lark, nuh-uh! I read your story and it's awesome! I love it, really. :D Will you be able to post more soon?

Jojo, how have you been doing lately? :) How is school going for you?

PrinceCor, wow, that is cold. What's worse than the cold is when it's windy, though. *shivers*
Thanks! City of Ember is one of my favorite movies. :) Have you read the book?

Ruby, I hope we get some more warm weather soon too! Though I don't think spring will show its face around here until some more of our snow melts. *sigh*
Ah, yeah, that can be hard trying to teach little kids. Have you taken regular ballet before?

Mortereve all!

We got about six inches of snow last night! :D

PrinceCor: I suppose it is a bit cheesier especially with

Spoiler
some of the added action scenes like the stone table thing. I do like the car chase though... :)
. But it's still an enjoyable movie :D

I don't think that's necessarily a cheesy scene. I mean, obviously none of it would ever happen, but it could.

Believe you me, it wasn't hard to guess.
(Aiden, Aiden, when will you learn? I can!)

Oh yes it was!
(There's nothing to learn. It is you who needs to learn. You can't.)

Thank you, I'm quite proud of the way I put it, myself!

Ah, but modestly proud, correct?

That is very true, Aiden. Take my mother, for instance and her cooking. Actually, a lot of the things she cooks are really yummy...but sometimes I wonder what's inside our soup at dinner... /:)

Me? Concede? Never! But I have a way of subtly dropping arguments... ;) :P

Lol! Is she concerned about healthy food? Just never watch her cook. :P

Well, I have a way of stubbornly dropping arguments. But, since you shall never concede and it is pointless to argue longer, we shall call it a truce. My one consolation will be always knowing I was right. :P

Perhaps we should start arguing about something that can actually be argued...I mean, arguments are completely fallacious when based off of nothing but mere opinions. We should argue about something more factual, like whether or not the sky is really blue... ;) :P

In other words, it's pointless to argue about subjective truth, so we should argue objective truth? Maybe we should argue the definition of truth.

NN95: Hmm...that's true about Ian and Mitch. I do love NT1, but I think I like 2 just a bit better...I love when they're at Buckingham Palace and all those scenes...

Yeah, for me, Ian is so much better that I like 1 better. But there are a lot of scenes in 2 that are better. I completely understand liking 2 better! I just hope 3 is as good.

I'm off. Mortereve all!

NCIS LA is pretty good, it's got kind of a lighter note to it, sorta more springy (like bouncy, not the season). I can see how you could get them mixed up when it's all blurred like that. :) It's not your fault I can't remember changing my sig! :P

Winter, that happens to me sometimes too! My mom usually goes to the library while I'm doing piano lessons. Sometimes I manage to convince her to take me later in the week, though.

My mom usually goes during my algebra class or biology class. My piano lesson's too short for her to really go anywhere. :p

Oh yes it was!
(There's nothing to learn. It is you who needs to learn. You can't.)

It really wasn't.
(I so can!)

Ah, but modestly proud, correct?

Yes, quite modestly proud!

See y'all!

NarniaNut95: I guess it's not necesarily cheesy, but since it is unlikely and all, it is kinda cheesy. The

Spoiler
collapsing stairs in the first movie were much more realistic, and thus, not really cheesy.

Well, seeing how I love puzzles and stuff, I love the idea that everyone has to work together to balance themselves on a moving floor... Besides, the collapsing stairs, if I remember what part you're referring to, was an accident. The stairs weren't supposed to collapse. But the moving floor was set up specifically as a trap by whomever owned the City of Gold. [/ramble] Anyway, it's all a matter of opinion.

Wow, only two people have posted since I was on yesterday! :-o

Good morning :)

Today my mom is gonna go on a date with my dad to go see the new Celine Dion movie. I was unable to convince them to let me go with them and watch Percy Jackson but they said maybe later :| :(( I want to go!! :p

NN95: I suppose you're right, I forgot it was a delibrate trap, and not just a slab of rock coicidentally balanced on more rock. I haven't seen the movie in a while :p

I know, it's been pretty empty and silent around here. I kept on checking in yesterday and no one was one but me :( :p

*pokes her hobbity head in and waves cheerily*

Back from the gorgeous snowy north, and wanting to live there so badly!

Speaking of snow, PrinceCor, so glad you got some snow. :D/

NN/Aiden, we did see Avatar in 3D, 'though I'm not a big 3D person (would prefer to see it without those bulky glasses :p).

I'm so glad I will actually have been a fan of the book [The Hobbit] before the movie as opposed to afterwards, which was the case with LotR. You'll be remembered as the one that got me into Tolkien's books. :D

Yes. :D And I feel very humbled and honoured. :D

Queen Susan, we do try to see Val and her family every month or so: sometimes it's a bit longer; sometimes shorter. It's rather unusual to think we hadn't even met them yet three years ago now. In fact, I had just joined the forum, so hadn't even connected with Val yet. So cool that our friendship arose from NarniaWeb. :)

I've never heard of "Catch Phrase", but we do have "Apples to Apples". One of our favourite games is Dutch Blitz!

If I remember correctly, Vern was in a little shop that I stopped at. He was looking for a new home, so I bought him from the store owner and now here we are.

Ahh, so that's how it all began. I'm surprised I never asked you about Vern's history before. It sounds funny to say that Vern was in a little shop, when he's sooo large now. ;))

I'll have to put some pictures up here later to show you the enormous amounts of candy they scattered around the table.

Did you, by any chance, borrow some from the Square's chocolate tree? ;)) I'd love to see the pics, btw.

I really enjoyed reading the unabridged Les Mis, but can appreciate that his lengthy diversions into various topics sometimes act as a distraction to the main plot itself. I found myself skimming here and there.

I do encourage whoever was asking (pogginfan, possibly?) to read Les Mis. I, too, did some skimming here and there in some rambling parts, but the story, itself, is awesomely amazing, and has the potential to change one's life. Really.

I read The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and The Silmarillion during the summer of '08 when I was 12.

Wow, very impressive! :D

Winter, do tell MeadowMaid how much we miss her on the Square. And I haven't forgotten I "owe" her a PM. :)

My sister, JMoon is moving out Sunday!! As in, leaving our home, hours away!! :( I don't know what I'm going to do without her...

:( Awww, that's sad. Did she get a job in a different town/city? and God's peace to you both. Thankfully for computers, keeping in touch is at the touch of a finger now. Still, it's not the same as being together.

I missed Vern's birthday?! :-o Well, it's treat time! Notice, NN, that there are vanilla, as well as chocolate, cuppycakes here. :D (Actually, I think the vanilla ones may be caramel: I do hope that's all right.) And pardon the bride and groom on top: just pretend they're, uh, Prince Caspian and Ramandu's Daughter. ;))

*enters singing "O Canada"*

Hmm, that tune sounds familiar. ;)

I like watching the medal ceremonies no matter whose national anthem is played.

Ditto. There is something so stirring and wonderfully moving about a country's national anthem.

Hurrah for more snow, NN/Aiden. :D And you too, stargazer', receiving a foot more in a week!

Heehee, I see we're still discussing the National Treasure movies off and on ... as well as NN's and Winter's modestly proudness. ;))

*waves to everyone else: PA, Fanny, GtG, Narnia Girl, Pebbles, and Jojo*

Glad you had fun johobbit, although I can't imagine why you'd want to live up north, where I am :p . I hate snow ;;) . Those look like yummy cupcakes :D

So I'm going out soon, might be getting my hair cut :D . It's been ages and instead of just getting a regular trim, I might cut my hair really short. I don't know, but I want something new :D

I'm 'up north' compared to many forum members, too. I wonder if you're even more up north than am I? ;;)

Just got my hair cut the other day ... more a trim than an all-out cut, though. It's still shoulder length, of brunette/auburn-tinges tone, and curls gently out at the tips. (Not quite as much as Mary Tyler Moore, whose hair really swooooped out at the tips. /:) Fun and talented actress, though.)
