Good Mortereve everyone! *waves* I hope everyone is doing well! I am!
My family are planning a vacation for sometime in June- we hope to come down to the States for a horse event and to visit friends (who happen to live convienantly near the same city as the horse event or within a day's driving distance) and so far it all seems to be coming together!
I'm really excited- the last time I saw my friend was in May 2008 when we visited her family to see Prince Caspian on May 16th.
And my sister would get to meet her dear friend and pen pal.
So yeah!
Oh, and of course, I got a very cool new CD which I love! It's a tribute CD to my favourite actor/singer/etc, and he got to sing with many of the Country and Western greats of the early 1990s- such as Randy Travis and Clint Black. It's such a lovely album!
Anyways! It's great to see so many of the SquareOnions return! Ah yes! Loveliness in itself!
You seen to have such a fun character!
All the "Dramatic faint" stuff lol too funny!
Why, thank you! *sweeping bow*
Thanks! I can't believe it has not been a year for me yet on NW! It seems like it has been way longer! But anyway!..........................
...........................
Yes-- NarniaWeb is such a great place, isn't it?
I have never made really long posts
I usually like to just keep up with it and if I stay away too long I just say that I will not be able to catch up
But I guess I'm just being lazy
![]()
So, how far through Season 4 are you guys?
Quite good, thank you! I just finished some important things, so life will be less busy for a little while. How's life for you?
We just watched the episode where
I'm glad to hear that life will be a little bit less busy for you- good stuff! I'm pretty good, thanks! Excited for all the opportunities this year will bring, or rather, what the Lord will bring in this year, that are yet unknown to me.
Yes!!! So it isn't just me?
Oh, and hi, Fanny!![]()
No, it's not! And I am equally glad that I'm not alone either!!
Although at this moment I don't feel so, well, aimless, I have no doubt that it will come again.
Although I'm doing some things to remedy the situation, I'm actually considering a job somewhere in town, maybe washing dishes or working at a local restaurant that seems to be a nice place, and it's run by some Christian acquaintances of ours, so who knows!
I just hope it's the right thing.
And hello to you too!
So you're in a Cheaper by the Dozen play? Very neat!
I hope that goes well for you!
FF, hehe, my cough has actually been dragging on for a long time...this is the second week.
I'm doing okay, though. Getting off lots of schoolwork by being sick...and mostly lounging in bed resting or reading.
So, besides being sick, I've been having a pretty good time.
How are you doing?
It sounds like you're having a good time indeed! Now if only that cough would go away!
It is hard when the cough lasts long, even if the rest of you is feeling fine. This past summer I had a cough that lasted about four weeks or so (granted, it was a symptom of something else) but the cough was the worst of it... and it was a little bit annoying after a while.
@ Fanny. Life's been pretty good for me of late. Got to visit with my cousins again on Sunday as well as watched the second part of Emma.
I have the ACT test on Saturday morning, so I'm not looking forward to that, but besides that, all is well.
How about you?
What did you think of the second part of Emma? I'll be praying for you and the ACT test too- please let us know how it goes!
Life is good here with me, nothing too spectacular but that is perfectly fine with me....
*waves to Pebbles* Hurray! You're back! I've only seen the first National Treasure film, and aside from a couple things it was alright, but I don't find it as fantastic now as I did when I first watched it. I didn't like the fact Ben broke the law just as much as Ian did and didn't get punished in some way. Even if what each of them did was different, it's really no difference. They both broke the law set by higher authorities in some way, and therefore should have been made to pay in the appropriate way.
Hey all! It's me, long-lost Nellie, finally returning to the Town Square after a long time of not being here!
It's good to be back.
Yahoo! Nellie! *waves*
Djaq: Huge cong-a-rats on the 2 year anniversary and the 1000 posts! May you have many more- of both!
*sends a special hello back to Valia* Praying for you dear friend!
And now I should be off to do school work. But Dennie's hopeful wish that I would appear spurred me onto making this catch up. Cheers all!
Dear days of old, with the faces in the firelight,
Kind folks of old, you come again no more.
(Robert Louis Stevenson)
Mortereve all!
Oatmeal cookies, NN? *tries to remember where she had the best oatmeal cookie, so she can find some for the next occasion a cookie is needed* I don't usually like sugar cookies myself. Most of the ones I've had were bland...
Yes, oatmeal are the best. And I prefer crunchy rather than soft. How kind. Eh, true, sugar cookies are often bland. I still like them, sometimes. I'm really not much of a cookie person at all.
@ NN. Yes, even a few inches is a lot.
*refers NN to what he said to Lucy*
Well, I'm glad you don't mind listening to my rambles on the subject.
Ooh, Hmm.... I'm not sure if that would be possible.
Pretty much my favorites are as follows:
1. Alien: Complete Edition
2. The Dark Knight
3. LotR: Complete Recordings (all)
4. An American Tail 2
5. Toss up between The Fly/The Fly II (2-disc set), Star Trek II (complete score) and Once Upon a Time in the West (hey, I may not have it yet, but it's still in my favorites.
)
So, in a way pretty much my "Top Ten Soundtrack Albums" list that's on my blog.

![]()
Ah, I see. *reads what Bennett said to Lucy* Oh, you get cold, and freezing rain/sleet but no snow? That's too bad.
Not at all! Ok, so those are your top five favorites as a group, or are those listed in order (like, is Alien your absolute favorite, or just one of the ones in your top five favorites?)
You have all of the complete recordings of LotR? That must have cost a lot! And, I completely understand one of your favs being one you don't have yet. That's the same way with me.
She did; I did; I am. Uh, yeah.
And I posted without a single nudge from Nellie, 'though the fact that she visited the Square again sure spurred me to as well. (Thanks for the welcome back, NN.
) Btw, are you still doing that editing of your youth group's newsletter? And ... are you graduating from high school this year?!
Haha, well I'm glad she did and you did. You're welcome. And, yes, in fact I'm designing each issue now. Quite fun! In fact, I just received a couple of e-mails with articles to put together. Thanks for the reminder to get working on that.
I'll PM you about the last part.
NN95, the reading part of literature is fun. The analyzing the story part is...okay.
What kind of books have you had to read for literature?
Well, I actually get a book with the course that has a bunch of short stories in it of all genres. The annoying thing is that when they have me read a book, it's an abridged version that they put into this whole compilation. Grr!
Ti'ana!!!!!! It's been waaay too long since you've posted.
Hey, Aiden! What's up?
Hullo, hullo, Dennie. Nothing much is up. School, piano, play practice, church... the normal routine every week. How about you?
lol, PA, I suppose those are good reasons not to catch up on 100 pages, but don't you think you could devote a couple weeks to read our months and months of posting? Kidding. Anyway, glad you're back.
It's interesting reading about your book, BTW. I'm assuming the guys in your av/sig are depicting the characters in your story. Whom are those pictures of?
We just watched the episode where
SpoilerMax and 99 get married. What did you think of that episode?
I'm glad to hear that life will be a little bit less busy for you- good stuff! I'm pretty good, thanks! Excited for all the opportunities this year will bring, or rather, what the Lord will bring in this year, that are yet unknown to me.

Ah, I see. That's not too far in, is it? Like maybe only the sixth or seventh episode? Or am I remembered incorrectly? Anyway, I enjoyed that episode, as recall.
Yes, quite a relief. Glad to hear it! Yes, that is always exciting, isn't it.
I didn't like the fact Ben broke the law just as much as Ian did and didn't get punished in some way.
You know, you're right. The movies encourage the saying "The end justifies the means." But as long as you realize that what these people are doing is wrong, the rest is alright.
Well, I'm off. Mort'reve all!

Ack! So a few days ago my oldest sister decides that she wants to be an over seas missionary/teacher. Over seas? I knew she wasn't planning on coming home after graduation, but I didn't know she was going over seas?! I only wish I could go with her...
Anyway, one of my younger brothers just informed me that he's brilliant, after reassembling a broken nerf gun using worn out balloons. *chuckles*
I apologize for not getting on sooner, but my life has gotten rather complicated within the past week. And I still don't think that I've got it all figured out, but ah well. Here I am with another catch up post!
Yeah I do wonder how Grandmothers keep up with everyone!
Maybe they have special powers. Or maybe they're just amazing that way...
I am loving the Second also!
Oh dear I'm not sureI like Much a lot! He is so funny! If I had to pick I would probably go with Much. How about you? who is your favorite?
It is hard to decide. The Second Season is so good! And all the characters are really good too. The only one I ever got fed up with was Little John, because his hair looked like a rat's nest. But I think, if I had to chose, I would go with Will Scarlett. He's so clever and does so many useful things with his skills, not to mention he's hilarious. But all the characters are hilarious (especially Much
).
Have fun with the second season!
It is indeed amazing! And I quite agree- any Dickens quite well done is really good indeed!
Speaking of Dickens, I've been trying to read more of him lately, beginning with Oliver Twist. I read the children's version several years ago and know the story, but I've never read the entire book...
Aww! Maybe someday you can come up to where I live, then you'll have a normal-ish winter!
If it wasn't normal, it would at least be fun!!
You're absolutely right.
So, your point of chocolate being healthy only hurt your argument.
That depends on whether you're referring to the sugar saturated chocolate candy or the natural cocoa. We always make our hot chocolate out of cocoa powder. It tastes better that way (and is healthy). But the sugary chocolate is yummy too, despite its unhealthiness...
You're right, you're entitled to disagree, but that doesn't make my opinion wrong and yours right. That also in no way means you can change my opinion.
*sigh* I give up...
Ah, I see. Same here. Except, unfortunately, I haven't ever read any SciFi, which I've been meaning too for a while. I imagine I would enjoy it quite a bit. Anyway, I'm not an expert on books, so, sorry I can't give you any ideas.
Lol, that's okay. I've only read a little SciFi. It's definitely not my favorite genre of books. It really depends on the author in the end...
Now that you describe it, I have heard of Lazarus before. My computer doesn't have it though. It's really old and I'm afraid it'll die if I try and update anything on it...I'll have to talk to my dad the computer whiz of our family.
Ruby, ooh, seven inches? Snow is always so pretty, the way it sparkles on the ground. Of course though, when it starts to melt and there's just little splotches of snow left here and there...not so pretty.
We never get a ton of snow either! This year, though, we have had a TON. We got snow twice in Dec. and two or three times back in January.
It was probably the prettiest snow fall I have ever seen. It was silent with no heavy wind and it was thick with beautiful large flakes of snow. And if you went outside the silence would ring in your ears, because not a single person was driving on the high way!
Wow! That is a lot of snow! We're lucky if we get snow once in a winter.
Thank you! We went to the doctor's again yesterday, and she got a different kind of medicine for me...hopefully it'll help this time!
That's good. I hope the medications helped. Colds are no fun at all.
Destined!!! So good to see you on the forum! How have you been lately? I love your signature of Wall-E. So cute!
@ Ruby. I'm sure it did.
For a while I kept losing my posts on the old forum...
Losing posts is definitely no fun. And it is very frustrating. My posts always take such a long time to write...I hate losing them! Anyway, how has life been treating you these days?
*waves to Winter* It's been a long time since I saw you, hasn't it?
*waves to Meltintalle* How are you doing?
Hurrah for Djaq who now has 1000 posts!!!
Is that...johobbit??? *hugs* We've all really missed you on the square!
Valia!!! Good to see you on the Square! How has school been?
*waves to Tiana, stargazer, and Princess Anna* So fun to have you all back on the square!!
And now I really must be running!! I hope you all have a lovely day!

Hello SquareOnions! I hope y'all have had a pleasant day thus far.
NG, I loved Riley! They were such good actors. Especially Ri. I love that one scene when the evil guy (Forgot his name... ) was pointing the gun at Riley and said, "Don't speak again!" And Riley replied, "Okay."
Aunty Jo, it just wouldn't be the Square if we didn't have familiar faces, but it also wouldn't be the Square if there weren't knew ones to welcome into this weird batch of people.
Are you sure, NN95/Micah/NN/Nut, ( ) my dad said the second wasn't as good as the first. But I'll see when I watch it.
Cor, you should watch it soon. It's the best version of P&P I've ever seen. But how many versions are there? I've only seen two versions.
*You're trying to keep Cor inline? I was thinking Cor needed to keep you inline*
Ti'ana (Sorry, couldn't resist calling you by your old username)! It feels like we're having a SquareOnion reunion. How have you been?
DTR, they're making a third one? Thats neat! And that obviously means the second one was good and I need to go watch it.
Greetings F2! I agree with everything you said. And something else I wasn't very fond of was the... unrealistic adventure scenes. It was just so fake, instead putting me at the edge of my seat it was making me laugh out loud.
Edit: *waves to RubyGamgee* Hello! I absolutely love your avvy and sig. That movie was really good.
Well, I might go shopping today, or I may not. But either way, Farewell to all!

*is excited for DTR's Cheaper by the Dozen play* Love that book! How are the practices going?
DTR asks a good question about Vern, PrinceCor: exactly how big is he now? It's been ages since we've asked.
I always drizzle a thick chocolate-y sauce over my cream puffs, and then sprinkle icing sugar on top of that, but yes, I have had them with no chocolate as well. Both ways are better than delicious. A few girlfriends and I are having a DVD night tomorrow evening and I'm making cream puffs for that. Not that we need them ... we do want them, though. For movies we're planning to watch The Boy in the Striped Pajamas and Valkyrie—two WWII films: one fictional; one not, but both extremely moving, especially in their respective final ten minutes.
Hope you slept well, PA!
Fanny, how very exciting about your family vacation in June! A reunion for you and a special meeting for your sister and her penpal. Hurrah for meeting and spending time with other NarniaWebbers!
"Get Smart"? A friend gave me Season 5 for Christmas because I have fond memories of rushing home from school as a child to watch it with my brother every weekday. Don Adams was hilarious as Max, and I also liked what's-his-name as the Chief.
*nods* Coughs are so annoying, especially when they wake one up at night.
I actually purchased all the LotR Complete Recordings the day each was released. I'd been saving up for quite awhile. Thankfully they released almost a year apart.
They are my all-time favourite film scores. We have a five-disc CD player and one of the LotR many CDs is always on there: between the theatrical recordings and the Complete, there are *counts* 13 discs. *bliss*
Cool about the group newsletter, NN, and that you're designing each issue. Thanks for your PM.
Now, with all these 'old-time SquareOnions' posting again, we have to nab Aravanna to get back on here. And Lady_Liln, peterpevensie, Sonny and lysander... nor has Robby/nl101 been on here for awhile, has he?
It was probably the prettiest snow fall I have ever seen. It was silent with no heavy wind and it was thick with beautiful large flakes of snow. And if you went outside the silence would ring in your ears
I love that kind of snow. Narnian snow, I call it. Great to 'see' you again too, Ruby.
*scoots off to PM Aravanna to get back on here, if she can find the time*;)
Aha, I see Pebbles just posted whilst I was writing this up. Good mortereve to you. I also like Riley the best in National Treasure. He's just way too funny!

Mortereve, one and all! Oops, I meant to do my catch-up yesterday, even though I felt very like a Krispey Kreme Donut all day, and I'll tell you why I felt so sticky and fat I was glazed over with a 101.2 fever, and I was far too warm!! So, I sat down anyway to write a post, and pretty soon I keeled over and slept for two hours, then watched Mary Poppins while prostrate on the couch. After a fitful night, I think I'm slightly better; I mean, my fever's only at 100 now. Now where's that cool cloth for my face...?
How is everyone here? Much better than I am, I hope. It snowed here again yesterday. Our yard was finally visible, and I was enjoying the "Warmth of the Sun" (great Beach Boys song), but now we have several more inches of powdered sugar. It was like living in a snowglobe yesterday. =]
We had our weekend plans canceled last week due to weather, and our weekend plans this week are on the blink too, due to sickness. I've been in an Alvin the Chipmunks "Bad Day" kick lately -- 'cause we've had some bad days!
Queen Susan, I know, it's sad that we don't talk as much here as we used to; (my fault entirely for being gone so much!) Yes, updates (an all those notifications, lol) on FB are nice for keeping more in touch. But, do allow me to ask how you're doing?
Narnia Girl, how are you these days? Anything new or especially exciting going on? I'm doing fine in all ways except health right now.
Nutty! Hey man, how's it going? Yeah, no kidding; cold-snaps are "cool". Oh wow, I can't blame you for enjoying your "cheater's way" of surviving the power outage.
My Grandparents were staying with us when we had no power, which wasn't good, since Grandma was going to have hip surgery that week....not so fond memories, I guess. =]
*whispers*: Chocolate is GUTE! (Jack Sparrow imitation of "Rum is GUTE!") LOL!
Hey Ruby-dude! How are you?
I see that you can't imagine a life without headaches? Neither can I ~ I get headaches every single day, but I don't know if it's anything of my doing or if it's just hereditary, 'cause my Mom has had headaches daily since she was 17. I can definitely feel for ya.
Prince Cor, I'm afraid you're mistaken; The Beach Boys songs have nothing to do with "Dude" language. The Beach Boys songs were inspired by my writing assignment, in which I wrote about music and how great it is; Mom read it and said "Oh boy, that reminds me of the Beach Boys' song "Add some Music to Your Day", so I listened to that one, then every other song that they've done. I love 'em, lol! Now that you mention my inner-surfer, I think I might just get in touch with it!!
Anyway, how's it doing?
Vern! I'm so sorry I failed to mention you...It's nothing personal, ok?
*thanks Poggin for agreeing with her against NN that chocolate is just too good to have room to be bad*
*Waves to Libby, Mel, and Ben*
Jo!! How in the world are ya? =] I hope you're doing very, very well!!
Bella! (I have missed calling you that! )
I'm doing vell tanks! How's vou zes days? I can well imagine how those gloves would cure boredom symptoms ... I have no fun gloves like that, so I'm resigned to finding other amusements. Vell, sincet yo' accent was clearer 'n a crystal ball, I s'pthose I picked-ed up on it a wee bit. I've been doing a lot of writing lately and studying, and lots of house/vet cleaning for other people too. And what's been keeping you busy lately, eh? You must tell me ALL about Winter Retreat!!
Dearest Fanny, whose avatar I just heart! , I am slightly unsure how to take your poetic statement...is this to mean that you dislike with the utmost repulsion having to admit when I'm right? Or simply that you're gifted with fancy words and similes? =]
Hi Winter! Oh, that is sad that you only got to go skating four times...I've only been skating once this winter, but I want to go again very soon. It does create fond memories, doesn't it. How are you doing these days? How's school and stuff?
Djaq, well, Miss Lissa's home by now, but it was perfectly horrid without her! She was gone two full weeks. I never want to do that again! Except that she might be gone for a month (over March, I think) nannying for some friends of ours who are getting ready to welcome a new baby sister into their family. Not only would I miss her, I'd be a little jealous too.
(It's the family with whom we spent New Year's, so you can imagine that I'd be slightly envious...)
"And the vestry, as I am told, is excessively damp."
Why of course I will pardon you; That is, if you allow me to call you "The fairest of them all!" OK, I see now! All the best to you as you prepare for the acquiring of your permit.
You Rebel! Let's take this outside! Be quick about it too; I haven't got all day.
I miss Dame of Narnia around the Square too.
Destined!! I have missed you! How are you? Do trot 'round again soon!
And PELS!! Hello to you too, how've you been? (Besides missed, by me!) =D Yes, I've seen both National Treasure movies--love them both, but I think the first one is my favorite. Which did you like better?
Valia, m'dear! Terrific, absolutely terrific to see you! How have you been?!
s to Princess Anna!
Dear Lady A, many gracious thanks for your gracing us with your presence!
Just a little FYI: The new Masterpiece "Emma" is absolutely phenomenal!!!!!!
And, since I don't feel good again, I am going to go away now. Have a pleasant afternoon, everyone, and I'll be back before next year...

Wow, lots of reading to do here. I'll just add a few comments before going out to do battle with the snow again.
Some friends have DVDs of Get Smart, and quotes occasionally sneak into our conversation. ("Missed it by that much!")
Beach Boys fans will note a shout-out to their favorite band in the season 3 finale of Lost:
We're lucky if we get snow once in a winter.
We seem to be getting it once a day. But how about that huge storm hitting the eastern US? Areas around Washington DC - where they rarely get any snow to speak of - could get up to 28 inches. Impressive!
Now that you describe it, I have heard of Lazarus before. My computer doesn't have it though. It's really old and I'm afraid it'll die if I try and update anything on it...I'll have to talk to my dad the computer whiz of our family.
It's an add-on to the Mozilla Firefox browser...it won't work if you're using Internet Explorer. I lost a few posts back in the days before I had it as well.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
*staggers into the Square with a moan* I hate spelling tests...
But guess what - I finally saw National Treasure 2! At last. It was really good! Even better than the first!!!
Wow, the Square has really been flying these past couple days! Guess I'd better get on with ketchup.
Tiana!! You haven't been around in AGES! It's great to see you.
Johobbit, yeah, it was really cool seeing Michael English in concert! I also got my picture with him, which was really exciting. Have you heard of the GVB's newest CD yet? They came out with a new CD called Better Day back in January.
Thanks! It's snowing right now, and it's so pretty outside...
Thanks, D-T-R! Yeah, coughs are no fun. I'm feeling tons better today though - that medicine is finally starting to kick in.
PA, glad your hand's feeling better! I'll keep you in my prayers.
Yeah, writing books can be hard sometimes. I know what you mean about having trouble finding the proper words or wording in chapters - that happens to me all the time! Hope you'll be able to get some more writing done soon.
FF, hehe yeah, I must admit that I've been having a good time despite being sick.
I'm feeling much better now though - barely coughing at all. Yeah, the cough part is horrid, it hurts your chest so bad after you've been coughing for a while.
Ahh, I see, NN95. Back a couple years ago in school, I had a book with a bunch of short stories for literature too. It was kinda annoying.
Btw, I saw NT2 today! I loved it!
Ruby, ooh, that sounds like a pretty snowfall! It's snowing outside right now for us - the snow looks so pretty as it's falling!
Anyway, how are you doing?
Pebbles, yeah, I agree! I think the bad guy's name was...Ian, if I remember correctly. Yeah! The guy who played Riley was so awesome!! I love Abigail Chase too...her spunky attitude is so funny.
Jojo, aw, I'm sorry you're sick. I was sick for a while back in January - it's no fun. Hope you feel better!
Whew. The Square is really moving nowadays!

Yes, I'm looking forward to the summer. There are sooo many things that I want to do this summer, things that I can't do now because I have too much school.
jo! Nice to "see" you again too! The snowfall definitely reminded me of Narnia. It was perfect, covered everything, and just kept falling as if it had been falling for one hundred years...*sigh* I almost wish that it was still snowing.
Lucky, NG! I'm doing great these days! Life is just going, sometimes faster and smoother at times, sometimes dull and slow. I'm looking forward to summer. How about you? Everything going well?
Yes! It's always so nice to look out the window and see the snow. My desk is an especially nice spot in the house, because it's in the Family Room where the wood stove is. My brothers and my dad always keep a beautiful fire in the wood stove, so the Family Room is wonderfully cozy in the winter.
Poor Winter doesn't have anything but an existential fire to keep her warm.
Jojo! Dude! What's up? I'm doing really well these days. My life is about to get a bit crazy though. Turns out, after I quit Irish Dance lessons, I'll be starting a dance class of my own with little four and five year old girls. Should be interesting. I'm looking forward to it.
Aw, I'm sorry that you get head aches too. They're really no fun, but I guess it's not so bad when you're used to them. Do your head aches have anything to do with your eyesight? Or do you just get head aches? I know a lot of people who get head aches when they read because they have slightly bad eye sight.
Well, I'll be hopping off now!
God bless, everyone!

Awww, Jojo, so sorry to hear you're ill. Hurrah, though, for Mary Poppins and the Beach Boys when one is sick. And you get headaches most every day? Oh my! That's rather unpleasant. More
Beach Boys reference on LOST, 'gazer? Those LOST writers delve into almost every area and wangle so many references into the show, don't they? (Not that I've ever seen it. Well, actually, I watched a tad of one of the first ever episodes, and didn't really care for it so haven't tried again. I'm thinking I might enjoy it more as it progresses.)
*is in love with Lazarus* It was Lady_Liln who poked me about it (formerly ~LadyLiln~: she's now minus the Squiggles, who are vacationing in Italy, I think it is, last I heard). I wonder when L_L has last been on the Square. I think I'll poke her too.

*Ahem! I heard that. Doesn't sound at all very Princely of you.....
*
Well, we'll talk. My people will get in-touch with your people.
*Cor, we don't have "people".*
I know that and you know that, but it would sound very strange in court.
*Oh great, there you go quoting Bob Hope movies again.... *
Yes, well... ahem... *The Prince and Dragon take their respective seats by the fountain*
Mortereve all! I thought I better do a catch-up post this evening before too much happened in the Square. Tis nice to see so many missed SquareOnions finally coming out of the woodwork.
This will probably be my last post in the Square until sometime tomorrow, seeing as how the ACT test is in the morning. Anyway, catching-up:
------------------------
@ Lady A. *is amused by his mothers post* Vern, do you know anything about that strange shadowy figure that seems to plague Lady A and KingLune?
*Hmm? Shadowy figure? I have no clue what you're talking about....
*
Sure....
@ Jo. Hmm, I have an even better one.... the Eldar. Is that more to your liking?
*is glad that Jo likes his and Vern's exchanges*
@ Tiana. Glad to see you around again!!!
I trust all is well for you?
@ Destined (who finally decided to stop by the Square ). Heh, all my 41 albums are soundtracks.
I do have a few "Best of" albums by rock/pop groups.
Not yet. It should clear by tomorrow afternoon, hopefully. *crosses fingers*
You may ask, if you so like. Let me see.... Kiki's Delivery Service, My Neighbors the... can't remember the full title
and Whispers of the Heart. All the original Japanese versions, of course.
*As I have missed talking with you as well. Yes, actually. 2 feet and a few inches. I now reach slightly above Cor's shoulder in height.*
In other words, Vern is now 8 feet long.
The Fauns? I really don't know....
No, actually they work at a little cafe near the border of Archenland and Narnia. Just a little ways away from the Bulgy Bears Cracker Barrel.
@ Fanny. It was good.... but too short. I was hoping it would be longer than just an hour. *sigh* Still, it was good.
Thank you, Fanny. I'll be sure to post how they go tomorrow afternoon. Glad to hear all is well with you.
@ NN. Yeah, that's about the gist of it. We always get the promise of snow, but never snow except for the blizzard of 93.
Pretty much in order of my favorite on down. Granted, that lineup could change within the next month... or week... or few days. If I had written the list a year ago, I would have put the CR as number one, but after getting more soundtracks, they have gone down on my top 5 list. Their still amazing works, though.
Aye, it took me several years to get all 3. I bought TTT, then FotR and finally RotK. RotK kept going "out of stock" from the two websites I buy from. Finally got my hands on it, though.
@ Ruby. Life is going pretty well here. Will be doing better after taking the ACT's tomorrow morning. Finally getting that behind me.
@ Jo, again. *points to what he said to Destined about Vern's size*
@ Jojo. O.K, whatev.... I'm doing well. Did you ever get the Email I sent you?
*Ah well, I suppose I can look over it this time. Glad to see you again!
*
-------------------------
Whew! That was a long post. *yet, is very proud of it's length* Well, I better get off now. Need to go to bed early tonight so I can get up at 6:00 in the morning. Yay.....
*sarcasm*
I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday evening! Goodnight!
*Cor and Vern wave goodbye to all before exiting the Square*
Avvie by the great Djaq!

Ok, I'm baack!
(I would have sooner, but there was a new Smallville episode on tonight... a long one. Concerning the JSA! ) *sounds like SUCH a nerd right now*
And now, down to business...
First of all, I'm really sorry that I haven't been commenting much on what is going on with all of you! But sometimes, replying to things said to me is all I can handle. Sorry guys! But know that I find your stuff interesting, and you are in my thoughts and prayers! (oh, and I'm hoping and praying that those sickies among us would get well soon!!)
lol, PA, I suppose those are good reasons not to catch up on 100 pages, but don't you think you could devote a couple weeks to read our months and months of posting?
Kidding. Anyway, glad you're back.

Thanks! It's really good to be back! I've missed you guys.
(sorry, I might read them at some point... but you can forget me commenting on them. I can't even comment on stuff said NOW! )
It's interesting reading about your book, BTW. I'm assuming the guys in your av/sig are depicting the characters in your story. Whom are those pictures of?
They're actors from some of my fave movies (and shows) growing up, and I could really picture them as characters in my novel. By this time, I've stopped thinking of them as actors, and they've pretty much come to life in my head as these boys. So, they are: Tony, Matt, Charlie, Kev, and Riks. Nothing more, nothing less. Sorry.
Hope you slept well, PA!
I should say I did... I slept clear til around 5 or 6pm!
Remind me not to pull all-nighters (as I did the other night) following an already messed up bedtime schedule. Such a bad girl, I am. Didn't really get anything done today. (and as it turns out, I did NOT go right to bed after typing that post last night. Bad me, I know)
PA, glad your hand's feeling better! I'll keep you in my prayers.
Yeah, writing books can be hard sometimes.I know what you mean about having trouble finding the proper words or wording in chapters - that happens to me all the time! Hope you'll be able to get some more writing done soon.
Thanks! (for all of it!)
So, you're a writer too? I just hope mine turns out good enough that it can get published someday. But since starting this endeavour, I can certainly see why it takes authors so long to write their books!
*waves to those I didn't mention this time 'round*
Ugh, why did it have to take me hours to write this post? It's such a short one! Stupid distractions! (tv, snacks, etc, etc) See you all later!
*enters the Square humming "More Than Ever" by the GVB* Hello all! No ketchup post this time, just popping in to state the fact that we have over a foot of snow, and it is still snowing steadily even as I speak. We haven't had this much snow since back in December. Guess church will be canceled tomorrow...
Not doing much today, so I might pop back for a ketchup later today. Right now I think I'll go work on rereading River Secrets by Shannon Hale, so...mortereve!
*exits the Square humming "Friend Till the End" by the Isaacs*

*squeezes herself out of the woodwork yet again*
PrinceCor, all the best with your ACT test today! May you be calm and, for goodness' sake, don't let that dragon in the test room with you.
Do let us know how it went ...
"The Eldar" Oh my, that is a distinguished and beautiful title. I'm not sure I could live up to that. *imagines this hobbit as a beautiful Elf strolling through woodlands and gentle vales, contemplating the meaning of Elvish-y ... stuff*
Vern is now 8' long?! Wow, the last I remember (on the old Square), he was a mere 4'. Cool!
*would love to visit the Bulgy Bears Cracker Barrel or the Fauns' Café someday*
Glad you feel more rested now, PA. And just a reminder: don't pull all-nighters.
Oooh, Narnia Girl, a foot of snow and still falling? How I've missed that this winter. Enjoy and continue to keep safe. *imagines the pure beauty of that winter wonderland scene*
Good Saturday to all! I'm off to make my cream puffs for movie night tonight. We gals all come in our PJs, so it's quite cozy and comfy.
Until later ...
