*enters the Town Square listening to "Glorious Impossible" by the Gaither Vocal Band* I know, I haven't been around the past couple days. Our whole family is sick now. I STILL have that awful cough...I've had it now for two weeks...my medicine isn't helping at all. I also have a runny nose, now, which I caught yesterday...no fun.
Our whole family went to the doctor's yesterday, all five of us. It was so funny. In the morning my mom called the doctor's and said, "Hello, um, I'm calling to schedule appointments for five people..." We actually got off school yesterday too (YAY!) since everyone was sick and we had to go to the doctor's. I mostly rested in bed...and got lots of free time to read. Hehe.
Well I guess Mom will probably make us do at least some schoolwork today. Oh well.
On to ketchup, now.
*waves back to Benjamin* How's it going?
Ruby, ooh, seven inches? Snow is always so pretty, the way it sparkles on the ground. Of course though, when it starts to melt and there's just little splotches of snow left here and there...not so pretty.
We never get a ton of snow either! This year, though, we have had a TON. We got snow twice in Dec. and two or three times back in January.
Thank you! We went to the doctor's again yesterday, and she got a different kind of medicine for me...hopefully it'll help this time!
FF, hehe, my cough has actually been dragging on for a long time...this is the second week. I'm doing okay, though. Getting off lots of schoolwork by being sick...and mostly lounging in bed resting or reading.
So, besides being sick, I've been having a pretty good time.
How are you doing?
NN95, school has gone pretty well, though I haven't done much lately, what with being sick and all. Though I have gotten back into the swing of it after Christmas break and all. And we still have about half of the school year left to go...
*squeals* D-T-R!! It's wonderful to see you around again - how have you been?
Well, my sister is eyeing me with a look that says she would like to get on the computer, sooo...guess I'm off!

Hullo, Libby. I'm doing great, thanks! How are you? You've been talking about movies lately... have you see the National Treasure movies? Seems like something you would like.
Thanks I will!
Well It's been a while for some of them but others I saw in Colorado in August, so it's been a while since some of them. But others its been almost two years! So that Will be fun to see them again!
Hope you do.
Oh, I understand. I love visiting distant family
What is Lazarus? I have heard some people talk about it on here but I never knew what it was............

Glad to hear that, and sorry you're still feeling sick. We tried to take Christmas break right at the halfway point, so now that I'm a month into school, I have a month less than half of school left.

*The Prince and Royal Dragon enter the Square discussing the strange weather patterns in Archenland*
Mortereve all! Well, the weather can't seem to make up it's mind down here. Sunday was beautiful clear skies, Monday started out clear but became overcast in the afternoon and today is very dreary outside.
Looks like Sherlock Holmes England, actually....
Anyway, time for catching-up:
--------------------------
@ Winter. I'm doing well, thank you! Trying to stay warm since we keep getting colder temps... *needs a shivering emoticon* How are you and yours?
@ Lucy. We got some sleet on Saturday as well as dropping temps all day. Sunday was great though! Clear blue skies and in the high 50's.
@ Ruby. I'm sure it did. For a while I kept losing my posts on the old forum...
Yes, it does seem to have a mind of it's own most of the time.... 7 inches?! Wow! Should I extend "congrats" or mourn for the fact you got so much snow?
@ Fanny. Life's been pretty good for me of late. Got to visit with my cousins again on Sunday as well as watched the second part of Emma. I have the ACT test on Saturday morning, so I'm not looking forward to that, but besides that, all is well.
How about you?
@ NN. *chuckles* That seems to be your specialty, no? Don't worry, I don't expect most people to have heard about those scores.
Not quite hundreds.... *goes and checks* Exactly 41 albums (not counting the individual discs).
It's taken me several years just to get that many, though...
*peers over at the strangely familiar figure who has entered the Square....*
Could that be.... Destined!!!!
Tis grand to see you stop by the Square!
*Fair greetings, miss Destined! Your presences here has been missed along with Jo's and Betsie's. I trust all is well for you? *
----------------------------------
Well, I think that gets everything. Again, this is a relatively short post for me....
One last thing: As I mentioned this Saturday I will be taking the ACT test. I'm sure I'll do fine, but prayers would be most appreciated all the same.
Hope everyone has a good afternoon!

I had a sudden urge to say hello! And this time I really might stay and try to keep up with the flying pages of the good ol' Town Square!
So... to start a conversation... yesterday I watched National Treasure 1 and today I plan on watching the second. Have any of you seen it?
See y'all around!

Mortereve all! Well, I'm feeling a little better this morning - I'm not coughing as much. I don't know if I'm really getting well, though. This sickness has had its ups and downs, lol. We got some snow yesterday, around six inches, and it's snowing some more right now.
Thanks, NN95. What's your favorite subject?
I'm doing all right, Benjamin. Glad to see some snow this morning. It looks so pretty outside.
PrinceCor, wow! High 50's back on Sunday? I envy you. That kind of weather would be so nice around here - it's snowing right now.
Pebbles! *hugs* Good to see you around! Oh, you saw National Treasure? That's one of my favorite movies!
I haven't seen the second one yet, though - we put a hold on it at the library.

In my opinion, you should extend congrats, and... 7 inches all that much.

lol, I start to think I know something about this sort of thing, then all I have to do is talk to you and realize I really know hardly anything. Wow, that's quite a collection. Do you have mostly well-known stuff or more obscure stuff?
Pebbles, good to see you stop by!
So... to start a conversation... yesterday I watched National Treasure 1 and today I plan on watching the second. Have any of you seen it?
That's fantastic. Was that a first time watching those? I think just about everybody in the Square is a fan of those movies.
See ya, Ben! Have a good trip!
Thanks, NN95. What's your favorite subject?
Well, my favorite subject often changes from year to year. This year it's science. What's yours?

Hey all! It's me, long-lost Nellie, finally returning to the Town Square after a long time of not being here! It's good to be back.
How is everyone doing? I'm doing pretty well. We just got some snow last night so that looks pretty on the ground. I'm just sitting here at my brother's computer typing and eating Sour Patch Kids. Yum!
So... to start a conversation... yesterday I watched National Treasure 1 and today I plan on watching the second. Have any of you seen it?
Yes, I've seen both of them and really like them! They're really exciting stories presented in a relatively clean way. Good stuff!
Well, I should be off. Bye everyone!

NG, yes I've seen National Treasure. I like it, though some of the intense scenes are rather... fake. But I liked it. I hope you get to watch it soon! I haven't yet seen the second one, though we may watch it tomorrow.
NN95, I think I remember seeing a piece of the first one a looong time ago. But this was the first time I watched it all the way through.
Nellie of Narnia, I love it how they are relatively clean. And exciting, in a rather... unrealistic way. (Oh, and aren't you Aunty Jo's daughter? )
Speaking of snow, the other day we got 10 inches and in some places up to a foot. This was really not normal for the state I live in.

Nice to see you about the Square, Nellie! I've also watched the National Treasure movies and enjoyed them. It's fun to see familiar sights in the second one (Mount Rushmore and Sylvan Lake).
We've plenty of snow here, and I'm happy to share! We got about 5 inches of fresh snow over the last couple of days,so we have a couple of feet on the ground now. I don't think highs here will hit the 50s for at least a month...
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
Hello all! *Waves*
That's true I guess I'm not that calm
But if you knew me in person I'm actually pretty calm, but I can get in those crazy moods!
lol, can't we all? I would not say that I'm calm, but I know how to be calm when I need to...
Winter, I've mostly been rereading some of my favorite books - Eye of the Oracle by Bryan Davis and Princess Academy by Shannon Hale.
Ah, I've read both of those. I quite liked Princess Academy but am not fond of Bryan Davis's books. At least, I think I've read Eye of the Oracle I lost track of the second series.
Oh yes you did! Even if not, you obviously held me to some standards, which I have apparently not lived up to.
[/useless argument]
(You brought it on yourself.![]()
)
Did not! Ok, so yes. I did hold you up to a standard and you did not measure up, but that doesn't mean i thought you were perfect!
(Hmmph! Did not! )
Hey, now there's a thought!
It's a genius idea!
*Waves to Destined!*
@ Winter. I'm doing well, thank you!
Trying to stay warm since we keep getting colder temps... *needs a shivering emoticon* How are you and yours?
That's good. Oh, is the cold front moving in for you, then? It's pretty much moved out for us.
Although, it's apparently suppossed to be followed by a much smaller cold front.
We're all pretty good here, enjoying the lovely warmth.
See y'all!
