*comes into the Square with a groan* Time to ketchup. I've been sick for the past couple days and spent most of my time resting in bed. When I wasn't resting, I was reading and too lazy to come and ketchup. We went to the doctor's and got some medicine, and I am feeling a bit better now. Well, I'll go ahead and ketchup, now...
NN95, no way, chocolate is delicious!
Anyway...how has school been going lately?
Ooh, wow, Ruby, did you end up getting that snowstorm/ice storm?
Oh, I've been doing okay, except I've been sick recently. At least when you're sick you get off most of your schoolwork.
PrinceCor, oh, you're supposed to be getting some sleet or rain? No fun.
Winter, I've mostly been rereading some of my favorite books - Eye of the Oracle by Bryan Davis and Princess Academy by Shannon Hale.

I just watched a movie that I have seen a bunch of times called "Saving Shiloh" (it's based on the book "Saving Shiloh" by Phyliss Reynolds Naylor)! have you seen that movie? if not, you should!it's really good and I love it!

Yeah green is pretty cool! But There was this certain blue that I made a scarf with that was so amazing! It's definitely my favorite!
Oh what is the story line about? (other than saving Shiloh ) Maybe I'll see it sometime!

Where have you been?
Oh, out on a walk in the snow...it really is lovely.
Well, don't forget you have Latin homework to finish. And a Biology exam to study for.
Yes, I know, Eru. But the world was too beautiful outside, I just had to take a walk!
Very well. But please hurry up! I'm getting impatient and very bored sitting and waiting for you...
As you may have already guessed, it snowed yesterday!! We got at least six and a half inches (my dad measured), which is very rare for us. We hardly ever get any snow in the winter! This year we've gotten two heavy snows!
We also celebrated my sister's birthday yesterday! I made her a chocolate cake, which fell. But it still tasted good.
And she opened all her presents and then we watched Chicken Run, which we haven't seen in ages. So, we had a fun day.
Enough about me, time for some catch up!!
Have you heard the Lazarus spiel...?
No, I don't believe I have. What is it?
You should eat healthy food, but much, much more food is more healthy than chocolate. And, chocolate isn't all healthy, it's still candy, after all. And, I've learned from experience that if you want to throw up at the very smell of something, you'll never grow to like it.
You're right. There is a lot of good healthy food out there...but it's only the really unhealthy food that is really good.
You're right, good (not referring to morals) is a matter of perspective. It's all an opinion. Nobody's right, nobody's wrong. Everybody has an opinion and is entitled to it. That said, chocolate is gross!
*sigh* Very well. I guess you're entitled to your opinion...but I'm entitled to disagree! Chocolate is yummy!!
How, true, I think that same thing could be said about every movie adaption.
I believe you're right, for the most part. Especially when it comes to movies today...like Pride and Prejudice, Lord of The Rings, Narnia, etc...
What sort of books do you like?
All kinds, really. Fantasy, fiction, historical fiction, classic literature,...a bit of SciFi and some mystery...any book that is written well with good (interesting) characters and a sturdy plot.
Lol, that's true. (Nor do I.
)
*hides*
Two of us? We're not both human. Either one of us or the other. (And it's I.
)
I think you're just delusional...
Yeah there is a lot of people on the forum! And some of them have similar names! So it does get confusing!
lol
Yep! My Mom and Dad were just getting used to it when My brothers and sister started to move along! and then when they got used to that Grandkids started comingA lot of birthdays to remember!
*chuckles* Keeping up with all the birthdays is the hardest part. I still wonder at how my grandmother does it...I suppose I'll understand one day though.
Right now I'm in the second season but I know why you don't like the last one
You see I was at my brothers house and they were watching it (that's where I first heard about it) and I believe they were watching the third season..........................Silence.....................
Yeah, I have a lot of issues with the third season. But I love the second season. Who's your favorite character so far?
Any time!
Hmm very odd
Well sometimes computers are just annoying and that was one of them
................
@ Ruby. Sorry to hear about you losing your first post...
That always makes one feel so great. *sarcasm*
Yeah, losing my post absolutely made my day... *sarcasm*
Yesterday was sunny and now today it's overcast. I think everything is suppose to clear up by Sunday, so hopefully it will stick to that plan.
That's good to hear! *chuckles* Weather has a way of straying from its plan...and messing up your own. Turns out we got like seven inches of snow yesterday!
Ooh, wow, Ruby, did you end up getting that snowstorm/ice storm?
Oh, I've been doing okay, except I've been sick recently. At least when you're sick you get off most of your schoolwork.
*sigh* Yep. Though I'm happy because it turned out to be more snow than ice...beautiful! We got like seven inches of it though, which is really rare. Last winter we didn't get any snow at all!!
Haha! Yes, there are always some "bright sides" to being sick. But all the same, being sick really isn't that fun...I hope you get better soon!!
And that's all I have time for...like I said earlier, I have a lot of homework to finish.
God bless, all!

Good Mortereve everyone! I hope that everything has been going well for each one of you SquareOnions who I am mightly greatful and blessed to know.
Life has been good for me, mainly routine stuff but I don't really mind in the least.
I just found out tho that my favourite professional team just traded away almost all of my favourite players. *sniffs* Yes, we, er, the team, get a couple really good players back, but I liked the ones they traded. Maybe I'm just sentimental.... ah well.... change to my favourite sports team is always hard...and of course I want the best, but ah! how hard this life is! *dramatic faint* And yes, that was the not yet popular "Lament of the Sentimental Sports Fan".
Anyways. *stops looking goofy*
*Waves Frantically at Fanny*
*waves back* How are you Ben?
Congarats on achieving Fanatic hood, by the way!
FF, I had just a cough. My little brother caught it a couple weeks ago, and then about a week ago I started coughing too...I am feeling much better today, though, and coughing less.
Oh good! And how are you feeling now? All better I hope! How is life in general going for you?
Just a guess. Yeah, there are four names on each episode, and I'm pretty sure they're the same people each time, as opposed to the previous seasons where there were all different writers. Later on in Season 4, they just put two of the four names up. I have a feeling the other two of them are like directors or producers just helping with the script, but not really writing anything. Purely speculation.
Yes, indeed. Especially after a whole season of them...
Yes, indeed.
Ah yes, indeed.
How is life for you?
That's exactly the version I saw! Amazing, isn't it? Well, anything Dickens (done properly) is amazing.
It is indeed amazing! And I quite agree- any Dickens quite well done is really good indeed!
What a great theme for 2010! It's definitely one I'm trying to apply in my life more...
I do hope you are most successful in applying it!
Sometimes I wish we had a normal winter...just once. *sigh*
Aww! Maybe someday you can come up to where I live, then you'll have a normal-ish winter!
Side note: When I glanced at the rest of your post and saw "The Lovely Bella", I misread it as "The Lovely Bones" for a spilt second.

*laughs* Ha ha!
How is life for you?
*waves back at Queen Susan*
My week was a good one, I thank you.
The twins are both sick now, and that is causing them to not sleep well, so my sister and brother-in-law don't get much sleep either, but I think that Julia is getting better now... I haven't heard from my sister in a couple of days.
How have you been lately?
Are you feeling any better now? I hope so! And of course I hope the twins are better now, it's never fun when little children, or anyone really, get sick! I have been pretty good, thanks! Enjoying life I guess!
You explained that very well.
How lovely that you will be finishing this year! Congratulations! I don't mean to pry and I'm sure that many people ask you this question, but...What do you want to do after you graduate?
Oh phooey! Your question isn't prying in the least! (And you're only the third or fourth person to ask me that, so no worries! )
Thanks! I'm excited about what God will bring along, but I hope that I can be patient until it does. At present I'm not at all sure exactly what I want to do, although I have a general idea- I'd like to help people somehow, which is general indeed! I'm thinking maybe working with poor or homeless people, but I'm not sure. I feel like the typical aimless middle child at present, actually.
I do have several more specific ideas but I'm not at all sure if they are actually practical and attainable, all of them are along the lines of helping people. I think the ones that appeal to me most are ones such as being a missionary- whether it's overseas or right here in North America, or something along the lines helping give justice and mercy and freedom to those oppressed (physical and hopefully spiritual freedom as well) and working to help my country be a better place- even if it's just touching one life at a time.
Anyways! If I may, do you have any ideas of what you'd like to get into occupation/future wise?
Very random but I just found out Nickel Creek recorded a Cowboy-ish CD when they were younger, which you probably already know, which featured Sons of the Pioneers/Roy Rogers/Gene Autry songs! Hah, very cool! (You see, I'm a fan of the Sons of the Pioneers, Roy Rogers and Gene Autry, so I think that's very very cool)
Fanny:
LOL, the description you just gave defines my pattern of thinking to a T. ^.^ Sometimes I'll just randomly say something and most likely it was to Ella, and I've left her rather confused mostly because it only made sense in my mind (like things always make sense in dreams.), or because she wasn't there for or I didn't tell her about the thoughts behind it. Ahah!
Hurray! You know what I mean! Or rather, I didn't confuse you any! We must think in very much similar ways! Yes indeed! I think one of the only "problems" about being more introverted is that I do so much of my thinking and working through things internally and only present them to the world when they are quite perfected and I'm satisfied that it does cause problems. Ah well...
Mhm, we must find some dance teachers... Jojo, you say, knows how to dance? Oh, right! I say we could tell her, and you? And then perhaps we might get dancing lessons and be freed of our bondage in the land of those who can not dance.
![]()
![]()
Yes! I'm sure she can keep our secret and would be most patient with us as we learn to dance, eh? And then next time we watch a Fred Astaire or Gene Kelly movie we can simply get up and dance around when they do or when we get that urge. (Honestly, sometimes my siblings and I mention that we get this really odd feeling that we could just get up and start dancing but we...just...can't... and that probably sounds really really really odd...)
Thank-you!
I do hope I enjoy the rest, however long it takes me to read it.
I think that not reading for a time span of about two weeks really dulled my reading skills a little, but they're sharpening and comprehending everything now.

Oh good! How goes it?
've heard quite alot about War and Peace, I take you would recommend it?
(Ditto, the 1800's are a favourite time of history here, too.
It's a hard choice between the late 1700's and early 1900's but...ah. I think I can say I like them all the same.
Yes, I recall the War of 1812 being rather interesting when I learnt about it last year; I do need to refresh my memory on it, however.
Yes, with likable characters, that does make everything nicer.
Oh yes! I would definitely recommend War and Peace, it is a longer book but it is a good story!
Haha, yes! To be honest I love history in general, from the late 1700s at least to the early 1900s especially.
Well...I dare say this is long enough and so now I shall depart. Cheers all!

No, I don't believe I have. What is it?
Allow me to quote Lady Liln.
Lazarus is the newest, most total awesome, new add on for Firefox. You simply go to this page, and hit the big green button (in FF, obviously, it won't do anything for IE). It will add it to your FF, and then prompt you to restart FF (close the browser and then reopen it, save any posts being worked on before you let it restart). You will now have Lazarus, able to recover those posts you lose to the accidental closing of a tab, or unintentional refresh/backspace. No longer will you have to recreate a three page worthy post. In other words, get it now!
You're right. There is a lot of good healthy food out there...but it's only the really unhealthy food that is really good.
