Fall has finally reached my area! It's so lovely. Everyone gets to look so cute in their coats and sweaters. x)
Life has been so lovely lately. I am more and more amazed by God's grace to me everyday!!

In what areas are you interested for a vocation eventually?

I'm not exactly sure yet, but I would really love to be a missionary. It's my childhood dream. But I'm still praying and waiting on the Lord's timing and guidance.
The apple crisp looks delicious! Honeycrisp apples are my favorite. Another great aspect of fall!!

It sounds like you're going through a tough time. I think I've had similar experiences. All I can say is, instead of focusing on the past, focus on the what's happening now, and all the joys and blessings of this moment. Your friend getting married, another having a baby...these are wonderful blessings! A thankful heart is a happy heart. I'll be praying for you!

*surfaces briefly from under a pile of words to grab some chocolate off the chocolate tree* I am, but ssssssssh! Don't tell anyone you saw me. I'm procrastinating instead of writing in my novel.

I'm doing NaNo too, and so far it's going pretty well! I'm taking a break right now to catch up on the forum and maybe even snag some of that chocolate for another burst of writing energy tonight.

Haha, Mel and gazer, I greatly admire you! How are those novels coming along? Almost finished?
I thought about doing it this year again, but I really don't have the time/motivation. Mostly motivation. Anyways, if I'm going to write a decent novel, I need more than one month. So to y'all who are doing it, more power to ya!
How was everyone's thanksgiving? Mine was lovely and full of turkey, family, and thankfulness.
I'm so excited for Christmas! Fires, hot chocolate, yummy treats, cool weather, pretty lights, Christmas music...I love it all! Does anyone have any special plans?

My NaNo is nowhere near finished, but that's not actually bad news, as I passed 50k words last evening. I really should go over to their website and verify my novel. Finishing it will give me something to do during downtimes in December, and more to do if winter decides to make an appearance here. I suspect it could be 100k if I give it the right treatment.

I really need more than a month to write a novel too; the fun part about NaNo is the push to get the ideas out there, into writing. My inner editor though is yearning to return; that can happen later.

Glad you had a good Thanksgiving! Mine was also a great time; the ice and snow held off until that evening, allowing trouble-free travel to a relatives' house. It's hard to believe November's almost over; before long Christmas will be upon us. I better get crackin' - there's plenty to do, between Christmas cards, gifts, and making plans for the day. It'll be fun!

Annnd I'm back. Sorry, kind of took a leave of absence for my new job and NaNo, (and no, I'm not gonna make 50k ) but I'm back now.

@pogginfan, I missed Thanksgiving entirely, because I work in a retail store and they decided to stay open on the holiday, Calormens that they are. But the leftovers were yummy!

Okay, so this idea has been stewing for a while, but I wanted to wait until after NaNo to bring it up. Is anyone interested in a ninja/samurai RP? I have a basic outline, if there's enough interest to justify it.

I came back and posted in the Cavern Tavern, sniffing around for an RP, but Ditto Town seems kinda...deserted. Is it just a seasonal thing? Or has it been dwindling for a while now? Kinda sad. While I never did post too much, I love the atmosphere here, and it's still the only RP forum I've found where you can have Jedi and elves and elementals in the same story xD Now I finally have an urge to RP, and no one's around!

Part of it may be due to the busy time of year, Captn. Peregrin, but we're planning a Christmas/Holiday RP party (something like last year's event). You're welcome to bring your characters and hang out/mingle with other members' characters in a very informal setting. Stay tuned!

Also, Capt. Peregrin, I have some ideas of where you could get plugged in. There are a few RPs that you could join, and I'd be happy to help you jump back into RPing since DT is so incredibly lonely at the moment. PM me if you want more details!
