Burg: Day 7
"Well, with the way you moaned over it, either it did or you have some other issues going on," Xandria crossed her arms. "You were just looking for a fight, weren't you? And now you're mad 'cause you can't 'cause I'm a girl."

"I'll be honest, I've done enough fighting in the past couple of days. I guess I've been on edge, so you gonna give me your name or what?"
If you ain't first, you're last.
Burg: Day 7
"Yeah, what's the or what?" Xandria sneered.

"The 'or what' means that I'll be buying you a drink without knowing your name first and that would just be weird."
If you ain't first, you're last.

Xandria made a face and began imitating Jason's voice.
"Tell me your name or I'll feel awkward forcing you to have drinks with me," she said, scrunching her face back into her neck, then rolled her eyes and stopped imitating him. "Because chicks always have drinks with rude tough guys."

"Woah, hold up a second." He said as he smirked just a bit, "so I'm a tough guy now. What any guy who thinks that you are cute is suddenly a big jerk? What do I gotta say, please?"
If you ain't first, you're last.

"Well, that could be a start," Xandria said. "Maybe, you know, that and sorry."

Jason sighed, "are you always this much work? Look, if it'll get me your name I'll say sorry. So, I apologize for bumping into you. Next time, I'll look where I'm going. There, happy now?"
If you ain't first, you're last.

Xandria studied him for a minute, then decided that a truce at halfway was the best she was going to be able to get.
"Xandria," she finally said. "That's my name. Now, are you happy?"

"Yes I am, thank you. Now how about we talk about saying please over a drink, there is an old tavern across the way and I think they have their own still. Come on, it'll be fun. You do remember what fun is, right?"
If you ain't first, you're last.

"I don't go drinking with strangers," Xandria said, brushing past him. She paused a few feet passed him and turned slightly. "But you could always walk with me while I do my shopping. If you're really good, you might be able to convince me to take a rain cheque on those drinks."
She winked, then sauntered on.

Jason mulled the thought over in his a head a few times before promptly deciding that the mob bosses could wait a few more hours. "So what's your story," he asked, having caught up to her.
"Everyone seems to have one these days."
If you ain't first, you're last.
Burg: Day 7
"It's probably not a very interesting one compared to some," Xandria said, stopping at a stand and inspecting the oranges. She studied Jason as she sniffed one, then shrugged. "The building I was in collapsed. Well, not collapsed collapsed. It sort of caved in halfway. Worst harm was a bunch of glass in my arm, so nothing exciting. What's yours?"

"I was in Diabolis when this mess started and well, whatever you do don't head south. It's a wasteland down there. If you think this is bad, think twice. I had to fight my way out of a city wide riot just to get out out. It was a mess. So excuse me if I was a bit jumpy back there."

"Oh?" Xandria studied him for a moment, then began inspecting the other fruits. "What was it like? How did you get out?"
She thought for a moment.
"That's quite a far journey, and my understand were all the mechanical stuff had failed. How did you get here so quick? Are you part of the military?"
