Pam snickered, "I'm wearing that dress to the dance and she will not wear the same dress as me!" Deep down, Pam really wanted Ryan and wondered why he would spend time with somone as annoying as Miley.

Miley started to get images of her hair being pulled out and thought she should just take the dress back. Still, she already bought the dress and it looked good on her. "How dare you talk about Peter like that!"

Chrissa took a step closer to Pam, her eyes blazing. "It doesn't matter if you wear the same dress. Miley just bought it, and it's perfect for her. Now leave her alone OR ELSE."

"Or else what?" Pam snickered.

MIley was still reeling from the comment about her cousin. "Let it go."

Pam laughed. "FIne, you can wear the dress if you give up Ryan."

MIley exclaimed, "What?!"

Chrissa saw a movement behind Pam. Her eyes widened as she realized it was Ryan walking up to them.

"Hey girls," Ryan said, walking up. He saw the threatening scowl on Pam's face as she glared at Miley. Alarmed and surprised, he said, "What's going on?"

Pam picked up a strand of Miley's hair, then let it down. Miley shivered. Pam chuckled. "Nothing. Just saying hi to my special friend." With that, she scampered off. WHen Pam was out of sight, Miley said, "Maybe I should wear a different dress."

Chrissa squeezed Miley's hand. "No, wear the one you bought. Pam can't do anything to you. I'll make sure of that."

"What's going on?" Ryan repeated, looking confused.

Miley said, "I can't go to the dance." She walked closer ot the cash register. What good does it do to be optimistic? Look at what happened to my cousin." She could feel her body shake.

Nate walked past, did a double take and saw the destress on Mileys face. "What happened!?" he asked.

"You have to go to the dance," Chrissa said firmly. "Miley, you have to. You can't just give up. I'll be there. I'll make sure you're fine."

Ryan touched Miley's shoulder gently. "Hey, are you okay?"

Miley looked at the younger boy, who was really great friends with Peter. "Pam is going to pull my hair out if I wear the dress to teh dance. Then, told me I would have to give up Ryan if I wnated to wear it without her doingthat." Then, she glanced at RYan. "How can I be okay?"

Ryan gave Miley a hug. How could Pam be so mean? "You wear the dress. Everything will be all right."

"You'll be fine Miley don't worry" Nate walked away. He turned on his cell and called Justin.

Miley felt her heart rate go up. Somehow, they were not comforting her. "What are you going to do if I'm in the bathroom the same time as her and she decides to pull it out there?"

Justin was waitign for Brad to get ready to talk to teh newspaper guy, when he recieved a call from Nate. THinking somethign was wrong with Peter, he answered, "Hello?"

Jen nodded, her eyes sparkling. "I'd love to do a skit! I suppose this means I won the competition if you can't think of any comebacks..." she looked over at Peter expectantly.

Peter groaned. "Do I have to admit to defeat?" He took the wadded up paper, then smoothed it out. "WHat would the bullies do if we did a skit?"
