Abigal looked thoughtful and nodded. "Saturday...how about 11:30. That way we have time for lunch and shopping and everything." she nodded with a smile. "I'm glad to have such good friends, thatm are willing to help me!" she smiled again.

Lyneya had to choke down many tears when she read Nate's letter, but there was also an indescribable joy. ((OOC: Even though she's fourteen...))

She looked over at Peter and saw him writing a reply to the letter he had gotten from Nate. Wondering if there was something Nate had written to Peter about himself that Nate had forgotten to write in her own letter, she asked,

"If you don't mind my asking, what did he say to you?"

Peter licked the envelope, Peter teased, "He wanted to give me his condolences on how I keep losing my hair." Then, he got more serious. "He was thinking abou tgiving his life to Christ and Levi is chaplain. I was such a jerk to Levi when he was here, wasn't I?"

"That's wonderful news!" Lyneya exclaimed. " I was so worried about him, going off to war without knowing where he'd go if he died."
She was quiet for a moment, then said, "Speaking of Levi, how's he doing?" At Peter's questioning glance, she added quickly, "I was just wondering."

Peter said, "Well he's being very protective of Nate. Maybe I should write him a letter?" He addressed Nate's envelope, waiting for an answer.

Lyneya was about to say that probably wasn't a good idea, but changed her mind. "If you think you should, Peter." Even though she tried not to show it, her voice had a hint of disapproval towards the idea.

Peter noticed her look and asked, "Why not?" He wanted to ask if she thought he was going to say anything too mean to Levi. "You know I'm sorry for the way I treated him."

Diane nodded. 11:30...yes, that would work well. "11:30 Saturday morning...yes, that's fine. Where do you want to meet for lunch? Is Chick-Fil-A okay?"

Peter and Lyn went over to Ryan's house, to see if eh wanted to go to the post office with them. Peter rang the doorbell, enjoying the crisp, clean air.

Chrissa opened the door. "Oh, hello, you two. Come on in." They entered and she closed the door behind them. "So what brings you here?"

Peter walked int o her house, and said, "I was wondering if maybe Ryan or you could take these to the post office." He handed her the letters form him and Lyn. "They are to Nate, so we can't send it from the mail box, since he is at war in Ronia. We can't drive yet, so maybe you can come with us?"

Chrissa checked her watch. "Actually, I have to head over to Ashley's right now. But Ryan isn't busy, and I'm sure he'd love to go with you." She turned and called, "Ryan!!" up the stairs.

Ryan hurried down the stairs. "Oh, hi Peter. Hi, Lyn."

"Can you drive them to the post office? They're sending letters to Nate," Chrissa explained.

"Sure, no prob." So Ryan, Peter, and Lyn, got into the car and headed to the post office.

"How's Nate doing these days?" Ryan asked as they waited for the light to turn green at a stoplight.

Peter grew quiet., "Well, he says bullets are buzzing by him as he's writing. I really hope he's okay. I really miss him and his teasing."

"I realy like chic-fa-la's food so that would be wonderful." she smiled. "a whole day out shopping with friends....that's awesome!" abigal seemed really happy over the prospect of shopping, marriage and everything.

Peter came to school the next day, to find out that Brian wasn't there. At practice coach came up.

"You have your work cut out for you Peter! Brian isn't here..." he said clapping him on the back.

That Saturday, Amanda was eating at Chik fil a with Diane and Abigal. "I just saw this really modest dress that was on sale that you would looke lovely in for the wedding. Only problem is, it is plain. If it fits, you think the three of us can make sequins on it or something?"
