Peter felt so hungry, he could just faint. He whispered, "Justin, can you get me something to eat?"
Justin put an arm around his little cousin, and said, "If they are not done in two minutes, I will ask them if we can go get something."
Peter mumbled, "Okay."

Amanda picked up a buttercup and put it behind Abigal's ear. " You should wear a flower in your hair for the wedding."

Abigal smiled. "Maybe I will....oh...speaking of wedding I'd love it if you helped me pick out the flowers!!"

The Chief walked up to Justin, who, to him, seemed the oldest. " You guys can go now I think....but be where we can locate you if we need you alright?"

Amanda looked at Diane, then at Abigal. "Can Diane help too."

Justin obediently agreed, then took everyone out to eat, then back to school.
Peter got back just in time to see Brian in the hall. "Hey, I'm back."

" Of course she can! any friends of yours is a friend of mine!" Abigal said happily

"You got here right in time!! We were just starting Peter." Brian trotted to him. "Almost missed it. How was the police station?" Brian seemed curious and wanted to know.

Peter was relieved to get to practice on time and huddled next to his friend. "Torture. I can't believe they actually thought I would plan to get my own friend kidnapped." He rolled his eyes. "They kidnapper was trying to kill them, so I got the kidnapper's gun and told him to let them go."

Brian nodded. "How could they ever believe that you kidnapped Kayla" he shook his head. " That's silly..."

"Boys come on it's time to practice!!!!" The coach called them over.

Peter rushed to the group, waiting to see if it was his turn to kick the ball first, or if he was on defense. "ready."

Amanda asked, "Have you been dress shopping yet?"

Coach looked over. " Peter your turn to kick the ball first!" he called out.

Brian smiled over at Peter. "You get to go first this time!"

"No...I haven't yet..I'm planning on it soon" Abigal said.

Excited, Peter kicked the ball with all his might, causing it to near the goal. Then, he rushed to the ball, ready to kick it in, trying to slide past other players.

Amanda said, "My friend, June wore a real pretty dress to the wedding." She shook her head sadly. "She died this past winter."

" Oh I'm so sorry..." Abigal said, with a sad face. " Well....i'll go dress shopping soon if you want to come. i'll have a few of my lady friends with me. But your both welcome"

John came up from his side though, and dived in front of him, kicking it away. Brian saw it. " HEY JOHN!!! NO FARE!!"

Amanda thanked her. "Maybe Saturday?"

Peter felt the force of John's steal against his feet, but was able to knock the ball away, passing it to brian who was wide open.

Brian got it and steered away from John and toward the goal. He was about to kick it again, when John came in and tripped him taking the ball away from him. Brian fell and hit his chin on the floor.

"Saturday it is" Abigal said.

Peter saw all this and rushed towards the coach. "John tripped Brian. Shouldn't that be a foul?"

"Sounds like fun! I can't wait," Diane said with a smile. "I love dress shopping." She tucked a strand of brown hair behind her ear. "What time do you want to meet? We could get lunch together first and then go shopping."

Lyn was waiting for Peter to come home from soccer practice, because she felt she woudl die of boredom. She decided to venture down to the mailbox, excited to see mail for Peter and herself. She rushed inside the house, quickly opening her letter. It read:
Dear Lyneya, I’m sending you this letter because I need to tell you something, with every passing day I spend over here, as I watch men die right and left, waiting for the bullet that has my name on it. I realize I’m dying inside, without seeing you… I don’t know how long I’ll last Lyn; it’s bad enough; the pressures of war, the pressure of hearing bullets wiz over your head and the scream of dying men, those things are hard enough to bare without the pressures of not seeing you, knowing I may never see you again… Lyneya, the truth is… I love you… I’ve got a sneaky feeling you feel the same about me but the truth is; we may never see each other again…So if word comes that I’m dead, don’t be to surprised.

She felt a glow in her heart at his confession and a suprise he knew exactly how she felt. She really missed him and found him an awesome boy. Still, she felt scared for him, that he would die or not come back the same. She didn't know whether to cry or jump up and down, squealing with joy.

The coach told John it was a foul, causing John to sulk.

When Peter got home to Nate's house, Lyn told him she got a letter form Nate and he had one too. Excited, he quickly took the letter, thanked Lyn and opened it.
“Hey Pete, sorry I haven’t been writing, we’ve been quite busy around here, I got promoted to Sergeant after I saved one of the Captains in battle, we stormed the beaches of Ronia fighting for every inch, I am now sitting barely one hundred yards from the beach edge and we’ve been fighting for five days now… Levi is currently sitting next to me, covering me with fire from his M-14… He’s been assigned as chaplain of our battalion… I’m considering giving my live to Christ… Its just I mean he took away so much from me and Kevin that we could never take back… I don’t know… It’s just- oh shoot I got too go we are moving again.
Peter smiled at the nicknamed Nate gave him, then wrote back.

So, Levi is chaplain, huh? Well, I am glad you want to give your life to Christ. In Ephesians, the Bible talks about being under one Lord one Faith one Baptism and Mark 16:16 Jesus said, "Whoever believes in Me and is Baptized will be saved, whoever doesn't believe will be condemned." If Baptism was not a requirement for Salvation, He would not have said whoever believes and is Baptised. I get that you probably have minimal water right now. So, if you truly want to follow Christ, the Holy Spirit will protect you. But when you can, get Baptized if you truly want to give your life to Him and truly believe He died for your sins, rose form the dead and is the Son of God. Hey, I met a friend on the soccer team named Brian. He is pretty cool and very good at soccer. I bet you will be delighted to hear I am considering trying out for football this fall. I know what you're thinking. Me? The guy who always fusses over his lack of hair? Well, I am going to try out for that, then basketball. Did I tell you Kayla was kidnapped? Your brother was helpful with us finding her. He got on the computer and located her for us. So, we rescued her and met this dude named Ian who was also helping. I can not wait for Justin's baby to be born. I'm going to teach him about God, music and sports! Well, I am happy for you being promoted to Sergeant. I still miss you alot.
