Miranda nodded in agreement with Brian. "I went easy on you, Peter."
She pretended to examine Peter's hair, then added, "I think I might have even missed more spots then I intended. It's much too long. Shall I get the scissors?"
It was then that she pulled a pair of sharp, gleaming scissors from her pocket. She smiled menially from the joy of harrassing Peter.

Peter thanked Brian, then turned to Miranda and put his hands on what little hair he had left. "Hey look, it's the Jonas brothers!'

Miranda raised her eyebrow and looked at Peter as if he were pathetic. "Really, Peter, did you think I'd fall for that sort of thing? Get real!"

Peter shrugged, not sure if he should run or stay still. "Why do you want me bald?"

"Really, Peter, you can be such a dolt!" Miranda rolled her eyes and showed her disgust plainly. "I enjoy it simply because you're terrified of even the thought of going bald! You have absolutely no back bone whatsoever," she taunted.

Peter yelled, "So What?" Then, walked away, frustrated. He was so sick of Miranda cutting off his hair, makign fun of his friends, making fun of him.

"Peter!" Jen yelled after him. She took a step forward to follow him, but then turned back to Miranda for an instant.
"Why can't you just grow up and be mature for once!"
Before Miranda could answer, Jen ran off after Peter and Miranda made no move to stop her or to follow.

Peter finaly made it to the other hall, when he heard footseps. QUickly, he turned and saw Jen. "I'm glad it's you." He gave her a hug.

Jen returned the hug warmly. "I wish she would just stop bothering us. She can be so..so aggravating!"

((OOC: NICE. Real nice - this huge kidnapping plot is suddenly over and fine the day after. No police inquiries, even after a bunch of junior-high kids jump an armed man. Is this how you guys get the thread back and active? I KNOW I was gone for a while, but doesn't that prove I had faith in you? I'm really sad right now. Not even angry anymore. ))))

"Miranda," muttered Ally to Stacey. "She's so annoying. And I thought she got suspended." Ally turned to her friend and scowled. "What's up with that? All of a sudden she comes back to fit this plot?" ( )

Stacey(Junior High Stacey) groaned, "I guess her suspension is up."

Peter said, "I just am glad Kayla is safe. How is she doing?"
Sadly, Jen answered, "She's very shaken and quiet."

Brian walked up to them and smile at Peter. " I don't mean to cut in but I HAVE to say this. I like you when you have Hair" he said with a chuckle "Not bald. You would look just weird"

"Kids!!" Came a gruff voice from down the hall.

They all turned to see an officer there. He bore the sign of being a sergant. "Your coming with me down to the station."

"But-" Brian began to protest.

"no But's son...you, you" he said pionting to Peter and Jen. "Come on. Sorry it's school time but we need you"

They saw another officer rounding up up the others kids down the hall as well.

Peter rubbed the hair on top of his head. "Thanks." When the police man said they were going to the station, Peter asked, "Why do you need us? I have soccer practice at 5." He didn't mean to sound rude, but he didn't want to miss practice.

"Um, I don't want to sound whiny, but, our teachers know about this, don't they And why are you taking us to the station during school hours?" Kayla asked. "Oh, wait, it's about when I was kidnapped yesterday, right? No one questioned me afterwards, and the police said I could go home. I didn't know why."

Diane couldn't believe what Stacey had been saying about her. Amanda looked upset. Diane touched her friend's arm. "You okay?"

The policeman said, "Well they shouldn't have." He led Kayla and Nicole out the school and headed to the police station.
