Peter said, "Oh, I see. Well, maybe you can come to one of my soccer games."
Jen nodded. "It would be great to see you there."

Justin notioced Ian was getting a little tired, so he said, "Okay you two. I'm sure he will if he feels like it. Let's let him go home and get some rest."

Peter said, "Wait! You gotta come to our church. Ditto Town Church of Christ!"

Ian looked at, him then shook his head. "No I don't go to church....sorry...." he tried to look away biting his lip. He felt sooooo un-comfortable.

Not knowing what to say next, Peter said, "Well, there was a time when I didn't either. No pressure or anything. Well, I won my soccer game tonight. You know what? I like to sing, also."
SUddenly, Justin put a hand over Peter's mouth. "Sorry, Ian. I really hope to see you again." Then, he walked over to his car.

Ian sighed as he watched them walk away. He wondered if he should have talked more...or staying quiet was the best thing. He knew they were nice. He felt a feeling hit the pit of his stomach and he sighed again. " I like to sing too." he said quietly too himself.

The next day at school, Peter rushed to one of the guys on his soccer team. "What an awesome game we played last night! You did great!"

THe boy turned to him and clamped Peter on the back. " Thanks Peter!! But what are you talking about ME for!?? You practically won the game for us!!" his friend said with a good natured laugh.

Peter thanked him. "It was fun."

Jen rushed to Peter and his friend, glad to see tehm both. "Guys, the game was awesome!"

Meanwhile, Amanda was watching the news, glad Kayla was found. Then, she went to the park with Diane. THere she saw a friend of theirs, and decided to say 'hi'.

Thier friend, Abigal, turned as she heard foot steps. "HI Guys!" she called walking up to them as well. "How is everything going lately!?? I heard about Kayla I'm so glad she's alright. I heard a bunch of boys from school and church rescued her"

Amanda gave Abigal a hug. "I'm so glad to see you! I'm glad she was rescued. I know Justin. Probably the other people there are our friends." She asked, "So, you have a boyfriend yet?"

Abigal chuckled. "No....not yet...." she said with a smile. "I'm actually engaged!!" she squeeled, jumpng up and down and showing the ring on her finger to them. AS they were all looking they heard a voice near and behind them.

"Hey mandy and Diane....." It was a mean voice, and definitly a girl.

Amanda felt her heart flutter at the fact her friend, Abigal was engaged. Hugging her friend, she said, "That's wonderful. Who is it?"
THen, the heard a mean voice, then turned to face the girl. "You can call me Amanda not Mandy."

In English class, Peter was talking to his soccer friend, Kayla, Jen and Nicole. "Looking forward to practice?"

His friend, Brian nodded. "Yeah I am. After the game we won I'm really hyped up for more." he whispered over to him not wanting to disterb the other students.

Just then, John sauntered to Peter and Brian. "Hey ladies."
Peter said, "We are not ladies."
John laughed, "Yeah, you kick like girls."
Peter glared at John. "We do not kick like girls. Not like I saw you kick any."

brian gave John a look and winked at Peter. "How about you grow up Johnny....we are better..." he said it not rudely but annoyed.

John drew back a punch, ready to punch Brian in the face, when Peter hit Jon's fist with a textbook, causing John to drop his hand.

Peter was sick of John treating him and his friends like dirt, and felt that was the perfect way to stop him.
