"Your welcome buddie, thanks for the whistle, I was going to get you a whig... but I figured" he joked with a smile, he ducked as a soccer ball flew towards his head which then smashed into the tree behind him causing a balb to fall off the tree "NOO" Nate joked and dove for the bulb and caught it. He started laughing.

Peter put his hands over his mouth and laughed, after Nate caught the ball from the tree. "Yah, you deserve it. I would so blame the bulb falling off on you if it broke," he joked back. "Hey, let's go to Jen's and get her presents to her."

A few mintues later, they arrived at Jen's house. Freezing, Peter rang the doorbell.

"I've got it, mom!" Jen called as she rushed to answer the door. She jogged to open it for she knew it was cold outside.
"Peter, Nate! Come in before you catch a cold." Jen giggled at their bright red noises. "Cold outside, isn't it?"

Peter laughed, but embraced his arms around her in a hug. "But you keep me warm." He handed a small bag with a pink ribbon to her. "This is for you."

Jen looked at the wrapped object in her hands and untied the ribbon. "Nice wrapping job, Peter," she teased him. The pulled of the paper and, to her delight, the book 'Pride and Prejiduce' had been hidden beneath it.
"Oh, thanks so much! I love this book!" She hugged Peter and slipped his own present from her into his hands. "Here."

Peter was relieved she liked the present. He tore through the paper at first. When he realized he was being too hasty, he blushed. "Sorry." He pried the gift open more gently. It was a sword that said, "Eustace." He gave Jen a hug and smiled. "Thanks!"

Jen grabbed Peter's hand and started leading him and Nate towards the kitchen. "Come say hello to my mom before she accuses you two of being rude! Do you guys want some hot chocolate?"

Peter's dark eyes sparkled, as he skimpered after Jen towards the kitchen. "Hi Mrs. Pole." He ws relieved she no longer hated him, but still felt eh was on eggshells at times.

"Hello, Peter." Unbelievable as it sounds, Mrs. Pole smiled at him and Nate. "Nate, how are you and your family?"
Jen smiled.

While Nate was talking with Mrs. Pole, Peter showed Jen out the window. The trees were painted with snow, as the kids that lived behind then were building a snowman.

The doorbell rang at Kayla's house, startling Kayla, who was in her room reading a new book she'd gotten for Christmas. "I got it Mom!" she shouted, and fairly flew down the stairs and over to the door. She grasped the door handle and flung open the door. "Miley!" She gave her friend a big hug and then pulled her inside. "Come on in, it's freezing out there. You must be cold."

Miey giggled. "How did you guess?" She gave Kayla a hug. "How's Ashley, by the way? I haven't seen her for a long time!"

"Their fine" Nate said, He avoided talking about Kevin...

Chuck and Kevin were tracking a car the leader of the middle states mafia was using. This guy was able to act like a buisness man so he owned a limo, however Chuck knew how this guy had been made: They made a sucsesful hit on Kevin's family. He hadn't told the younger man that yet for fear he would go up in flame, for now all they had to do was nab this guy; get him to talk and go after the rest.

Behind him, Peter heard a teasing voice, "How did we guess you would be here?"
He whirled around, "Hey! Justin! Maralyn! Hi!" He rushed to the two of them and gave him a hug.

Justin put his arms around Peter, messing with his curls, which were a little past the top of his neck. He was happy when his younger cousin hugged him back also. Then, Justin pulled awway. "Thought I would give Maralyn a copy of Pride and prejudice myself."

Peter jokingly put his hand on his chest. "All because you saw me getting a copy for Jen? Why, I feel like such an inspiration."

Maralyn walked over to Nate, while Peter and Jusitn were doing their usual expressions of love through bantering. SHe preferred how Justin showed his love towards her, getting her that book. He had told her all about seeing Pete rlook through it, but was okay wiht Justin not looking through the book when he bought it for her. The thought of guys reading her romance books came across as a little silly. THen again, Justin's younger cousin was pretty good at being that and she wouldn't have him any other way. "Hey, Nate. Merry Christmas." She handed him a gift of freshly baked cookies. "I made them this morning."

Jen came up to Maralyn and gave her a hug, careful not to bump the cookies off the plate, or the plate from her hand. "Baking again, Maralyn? What is it this time? I've heard pregnancies can make you eat strange things..." She looked at the cookies with a mock suspicious look.
"Hey, Nate! Merry Christmas!"
