Nate ignored Peter and Justin and just kept looking passivly at the tv with out taking his eyes off it. He was sitting on the otherside of the room in a chair, he kept himself away from the rest of the people.

Miley rolled her eyes at Peter and Justin, then shook her head. "Between the two of you, I don't know who's crazier." Then, she noticed that Nate was sitting alone and seemed kind of down. She walked over to him and asked, "What's wrong?"

Amanda teased Peter and Justin, "I do have breakable stuff in here, you know."
Peter laughed, "Ooh Justin! You're gonna get it now!"
Justin laughed, "You started it and I know your ticklish spot!"
Peter squirmed. "Uh-oh." Then, he pointed at the TV. "Look!"
Justin turned to look at the TV. "Yay! Edmund broke the White Witch! There's a reason he is my favorite character! Ooh his brother got OWNED!"
Peter laughed. "Didn't want to say his name or it will be confused with mine, huh?"
Justin smirked at his cousin. "Whatever you say, Eustace."
Peter said, "Yah, that's my name and don't wear it out!"
Justin teased, "I thought your name is Peter."
Peter bounced on the couch. "It is! I'm just not like Peter Pevensie. I'm the most like Eustace."
Justin said, "Wait until we watch Voyage of Dawn Treader and Eustace has spit coming out of his mouth."
Peter threw a pillow at Justin. "Eew!"
Justin caught the pillow and sat on it. "Be quiet, Eustace."
Peter teased, "I thought Edmund was the quiet one."
Justin snorted. "My point exactly."

Miley said to Nate, "You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to." She put a comforting hand on Nate's shoulder. "I'm here for you if you need me."

Chrissa snickered as she watched Justin and Peter tease each other and play around. They were having so much fun! She was glad. This was great that everyone could get together and have fun like this.

Diane walked over to Maralyn and sat in the chair next to her. Diane's eyes sparkled as she gazed at everyone's faces. This party was truly a success. She turned to Maralyn. "So, I bet you are excited about the baby girl! Rachel Grace is a beautiful name. Who came up with it, you or Justin?"

Kayla sat quietly, thinking. This really was a great day so far, except...except for the fact that Nicole hadn't come to the party. She couldn't believe it. Nicole was their friend. Nicole may be upset at Peter and Jen, but did she have to not come to the party? Kayla tuned all thoughts of Nicole out of her mind. This was going to be a wonderful day with all her friends. Almost all of her friends.

Kayla stood up and walked over to Jen. "This is so much fun. Christmas is my favorite holiday ever," she told her friend.

Maralyn smiled. "Justin came up with the name." She rubbed her stomach. He's going to be a great dad." She was glad that Diane was a friend now. She looked over at her husband and Peter, who were still bantering something about Eustace being a better swordfighter than Edmund. She turned back to her friend. "Something is telling me those two will be in competition over who does better at changing her diaper."

Diane was unable to restrain the giggle that burst from her mouth. She clapped a hand over her mouth and glanced at Peter and Justin teasing each other. A twinkle lit her eyes. "I know what you mean."

Justin joined his wife and Diane. "Make sure not to allow that kid to have too much chocolate," he joked. He turned to Peter, who was dancing and singing to "The Call", then laughed. "Oh my gosh." He could barely contain himself when Peter started imatating the instruments as well.

Miley jokingly threw a pillow at Peter. "Darn it. I missed."

Diane was cracking up. She applauded when Peter finished singing "The Call." "Oh man! That was great, Peter," she teased him.

Peter jokingly bowed, "Thankyou!"
Miley teased, "But I wanted to see The Kiss! Why?!"
Peter laughed, and tossed the pillow in Miley's direction, accidentally hitting Nate. "Sorry!"

Amanda went into the kitchen to putt the food on big plates and bowls for people to choose from. She wasn't very good at hsopitatlity. Her idea of a good meal was a microwave frozen dinner and she did not set silverware in the proper way she was taught, being the black sheep of the family. Still, this was something special. She also could not have done it without Justin and Maralyn's help. Marayln actually made the turkey and Justin sliced it before they brought it over. She did cook everything else, so at least she could be given some credit. She called out, "Okay, everybody! Come in here quickly! We need to pray before we eat!" Before the last few people could come in, Amanda started saying the blessing and kept it short and sweet. She did not trust others to say it, because they would go on and on and the food would get cold and she'd be passing out from hunger by then. That didn't go for just her friends but for friends and family. She pointed at the bowls. "I have soup and chili. I have green beans. There is no butter or salt on them, so if you want that, there is some on the table. Maralyn baked the turkey and Justin sliced it. I made everything else."

Peter picked up the butter and teased, "Did you make this "I Can't Believe it's Not Butter'?"
Amanda laughed. "Except that. I did make the bread. Got instructions online."
Peter moved towards the bread and picked it up. "Awesome. I gotta try it."
He put the bread on his plate and got lots of turkey. Hey, it's protein. He figured it would help the rest of his hair grow back more quickly. He grabbed a dressing ball and some potatoes. Then he put a little pumpkin pie on his other plate.

Miley helped herself to dainty portions of meat, potatoes, and green beans. She proved her similarity to her cousin by getting the pumkin pie at the same time as everyone else. However, she did not have quite as big portions as he did. She took her seat next to her cousin, who seemed to be savoring every bite. "Is it good."
Peter answered, "Very. Amanda and Maralyn are good cooks. Justin did a good job slicing it."
Peter got up to microwave his pumpkin pie then sat down and gobbled it. "Yummy! Alb-I mean mom never would have known how to cook like this! She doesn't even host the parties."
Miley laughed. "Between you and me, you can call her Alberta if you want."
Peter sighed. "Yeah, she's not much of a mother."
Miley kissed her cousin on the cheek. "At least you have us."
Peter gave her a hug with one arm. "Thanks."

Amanda sat next to Chloe and Nate. "Do you like the food?"

Chloe swallowed her bite of food before answering. "Are you kidding?" she asked, reaching for her glass of iced tea and sipping some. "This is delicious! You're a great cook."

Amanda laughed. "Thanks. I guess I better cook like this more often."

Peter turned to Jen. "So, who is better at pillow fighting, be honest, me or Jusitn?"

Chloe poked Amanda. "Definitely! You should have told us sooner about this hidden talent of cooking." She flipped her hair off her shoulder and gave Amanda a mischievous grin.

Kayla ate her food eagerly. It was delicious, and as each minute went by, she found herself forgetting about Nicole and just relishing the time she had with her friends. She glanced at Miley, who was sitting next to her. "How has school been going?" She grimaced. "Are there any awful bullies like Larry and Miranda?"

Miley answered, "Well, there is this Pam girl. She told me that I either get rid of the dress I bought for the dance or dump Ryan or else she will," Her voice lowered to a whisper into Kay's ear, "Or else she will pull my hair out at the dance like Mr. Pole did to Peter. She called him a brat."
Peter saw teh girls whispering and asked, "What are you whispering about?"

Kayla's head jerked up. She glanced at Miley, not sure if her friend wanted everyone to know about how Pam had threatened her. "Just talking about a bully named Pam in high school." She lowered her head and turned back to Miley. "That's awful!" she breathed. "Bullies are so heartless."

Jen's curiousity got the better of her and she couldn't resist asking Peter what Kayla had said.
"I hope everything's alright?" she added. "I don't want to sound nosy, but..." She just shrugged and let the end of the sentence hanging, knowing Peter would know what she meant.

Peter rolled his eyes. "Luckily, we have to deal wiht another bully once we get in highschool. Her name is Pam."
