Jen couldn't move,. She wanted to stay in and wait for Miley. Peter's soft whisper cam einto her ear. "Baby, she says we have to leave."
Jen stroked his muscular arm. "I know. You think Miley will get here soon enough to meet her niece?"
Peter sighed. "We have to text Justin. She can meet Weydon tomorrow. I hope to see Weydon for a little bit tomorrow anyway."

((OOC: Ooh, Peter's a ripped man now! =)) I always kind of imagined skinny-ish...))

-------

Susan's voice fell away from the connection and Johnny stared at the wall.

I know egg nog is the answer. That's what she'd told him right before the phone fell away and clattered. Egg nog? Johnny squinted his eyes shut and ignored the impending headache. It was the answer? But he hadn't even asked her his question yet!

Maybe she meant something else by those words. He reached for a half-filled sheet of loose paper and scribbled "egg nog is the answer". It didn't make any more sense on paper than it did aloud.

Johnny disconnected and dialed again.

(OOC: aww that's funny and sad at the same time Hummy- about your post not how you pictured Peter. Lol he was then he got muscular. You know turning fifteen does that to some people.)

Impatienly, Frank dialed Alec. He bellowed, "Why haven't you found the imbecile yet?"

(OOC: Sorry this took a while, I've got three midterms coming up, so I've been overrun with studying.)

Kahlynn blushed. She had completely forgotten the interview.

“Hmmm, how about this: What do you think the school should do to make the audience feel more comfortable during a game?”

She smiled; she didn’t think Ian meant to stare. At least she hoped he didn’t. Actually she would like to get to know these boys better. They seemed friendly, and she could use some friends.

Micah shivered in the cold. With a chuckle, he suggested, "Have a box for the audience to sit inside of as place where there's some heat. That's about it. I really don't know the game well enough."

Justin was able to find Miley taking a break. "Hey, you think you could leave early?"
Miley said, "You know the rules. What is it?"
Justin sighed. He got out his sett phone and sent her a text about Weydon.
Miley's mouth dropped. "No way! Wow, this is great. I'll come by tomorrow, okay?"

“Yeah, it would be great if they had a better heating system,” said Kahlynn. “Ok, only two more questions. First one is: Would you come back to see another game, and if so would you also come to one of a different sport, like floor hockey for example?” This interview really hadn’t been as bad as she thought it would.

Susan looked as her cellphone began to ding once more. She leaned over and strained to reach it. Finally her fingers grasped the cover, and she brought it to her ear "Hello?"

*******

No, Ian hadn't meant to stare. Her eyes were just pretty, and he found himself caught up in them for a minute before realizing how rude he was being, and looked away. She hadn't seemed to be too effected by it, and he sighed with relief. She went on with the interview. Micah answered her next question, then he assumed it was his turn and spoke up "Sure I'd come back. I like other sports so, yeah."

(OOC: let's assume Amanda moved to another town. "Who's Amanda?" My point exactly. She moved)

Micah waited for Ian to answer, after he finally did Micah asked, "Would you come to any other game? WHat's your favorite sport?" He wanted her to feel comfortable around them because he knew what it was like to be an oddball.

"What happened? You dropped the phone? Where are you? What's wrong? Did someone hurt you? Have you called the police?" Johnny's questions tripped over each other as Susan answered the phone for the second time. Finally he knocked his head against his keyboard and closed his eyes, to help him hear better. That is, if she did talk again...

------

"Frank!" Alec exclaimed, piling on the happiness in his voice. "I have found, uh...the target. His chat transcript says that he's moved in." Alec coughed. What if Frank actually killed Micah? Would that make him a murderer? "...moved in, with, ah...Boss, remember Ian?"

"Johnny please..." she began and trying to talk through tears. They were interrupting her will to speak. Running down her face, across her lips to drip down on her chest. "I've been diagnosed with cancer Johnny. Cancer. I'm dying"

This was not the Susan she had known yesterday. Where had the stubborn, headstrong, woman gone?

“Well…” Kahlynn though for a minute before she answered Micah’s question. “I’d say I’d definitely come to another game, although it would probably be for floor hockey. I don’t know why, but I always liked hockey. Maybe it’s because I love the snow. Hey do you guys want to hang out sometime tomorrow?” She had really wanted to make friends with these boys.

Frank let out an exasperated sigh. "That is my idiot brother's son. Tell me more."

"How about after school? We could all go hang out at the park. I won't have to be at work 'til much later." Kahlynn was actually feeling quite excited and not so shy. She suprised herself.
