Nate struggled not to laugh, his freind could be ever so weird some times, and those times seemed to get closer and closer together, now that Nate himself had seen that what used to be importent to himself seemed now like petty problems... Not worth anything compared to the horror of war "I see"
If you ain't first, you're last.
Peter chuckled, as he took another bite of his food. "Glad you can see! Guess who's trying out for basketball in a few weeks?"

Stacey giggled. "He could afford to gain some weight." As they reached Logan's house, Stacey rang the doorbell."

Justin put his hands in the air. "Okay. Fine. Just wanted to know what was going on."

"Um, you?" Nate said sighing, this was only another reminder that he could no longer participate in sports anymore. “So, what position are you want to play?" he asked, with a grin.
If you ain't first, you're last.
Peter thought about this for a minute. "Whatever they give me! I wasn't able to try out last year so I m eager to do anything this year!

Justin put his hands in the air. "Okay. Fine. Just wanted to know what was going on."
Karver said nothing, but merely glared at him. She hung up the phone, stood up, and motioned at the guard.
The guard, with an angry look, took Karver by the arm and began to drag her back to her cell, leaving Justin alone with his questions.

Maralyn reluctantly answered the door, leaving the upset Weydon in the hall. But the site that met her at the door step was nothing as she expected. A little girl, no older then 8 and no younger then 6, stood there fervently wiping her cheeks from crystal tears. Was this the young girl she was to baby sit to day? Kneeling down, she wiped her cheeks with her shirt and put loving hands around her shoulders "You must be Cassandra. What's wrong dear?"
Cassy looked into the woman's gentle eyes and shook her head "Nothing, I-I just am going to miss Mommy today"
"Awww.....that's okay" Maralyn ushered her in "Before you know it she'll be back to pick you up. But, you will have a play mate" she took her over to where Weydon was "Weydon, this is Cassandra."

Weydon stared at the little girl who had just entered the house. She wasn't quite sure what to think of her. At first, Weydon had been determined not to like her, because she had interrupted her conversation with Maralyn. But the fact that the little girl was crying had softened her a little.
"Hi," Weydon said.

Elizabeth Glassard wandered aimlessly down the street, she was out for a walk after a difficult day of rehearsing for a play that she was hoping to get a part for, the income would be really helpful right now considering that her land agency was collecting rent soon.
Elizabeth started to quote lines in her head and then stopped and made herself relax chill, she thought, or you'll lose the part before you even try out for it. She decided to go home and spend a long evening reading a good book and eating ice cream, she chuckled to herself yeah, that Ice cream aughta help we chill. the thought lit her face with what might look like an almost whimsical smile to an unsuspecting passerby. maybe I'll sing to a few tunes on my radio for a bit as well. The evening was starting to sound almost fun.

Amanda had also spent a difficult day rehearsing for a play at the same college Elizabeth attended. She was wlaking in the park, remembering the old days of hangign out with Miley, Chloe and their friends when she noticed Elizabeth was there also. She rushed to Elizabeth and greeted her. "Hey! How's it going?"

Justin decided to pay Ian a visit at his house. When he got there, he rang the doorbell.

Micah resisted the urge to jump out of his skin, when he heard the doorbell ring. He really wanted to hide under the table, but Ian told him there was no need to. He nervously looked towards the door, then at Ian. "Are you sure I don't need to hide? What if they located me? I should have known better than to get on my email!"

To Eliza's surprise, when she next looked up from her musings it was to see Amanda fast-walking towards her and offering a cheerful greeting.
"Oh, you know, the same old stuff. I'm a bit tired at the moment because I was rehearsing for the school play, but I think I'll be able to pull it off," She offered up a grin and then "Hey, I was thinking about spending some time at home reading and eating Ice Cream this evening, but if you like, you could join me and we'll rent a movie!"
Matthew 6:26 "Look at the birds of the air... ...your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?"
Smiling, Amanda said, "That sounds like fun. I would love to join you."

"Well, come on then!" said Eliza, and with that she looped her arm through Amanda's and started off towards the movie store.

Cassandra stared at the other girl. She looked about her age, but the expression on her face was peculiar. "Hello" she said shyly as she fidgeted. "I'm Cassandra. But you can call me Cassy if you want"

"Hi Cassy," Weydon answered. She saw the girl's shyness -- and the girl's tears -- and for the first time in her life, perhaps, Weydon felt compassion and kindness toward someone other than herself. She didn't meet many people her own age. And those she did meet were generally happy and satisfied -- something Weydon could not relate to at all. But here was a girl like herself -- a girl who knew the meaning of misery and pain.
"It's alright," she told Cassy. "Do you want to go up to my room? Or maybe we could ask Maralyn to get you a snack? Whatever will make you feel better." Weydon smiled. Smiles looked so odd and out-of place on her always-miserable face. It had been so long since she had smiled. Too long.

When Amanda got to the movie store, she picked up "The Proposal." "I've been wanting to see this. Never got a chance to."
