Justin took this in. She was right. That would be uncomfortable. "What were you doing when Karver found you?"

Micah adjusted himself in his seat, not sure of how to explain it to her. So, he typed: No. I'm not much of a football player. Sighing, he knew that was not completely a lie. He never had time to play football before, so why would he make the team?
"What kind of sports do you like?" Grace typed. "I like bowling, if you can call that a sport... "
((OOC: I used a smiley face because since they're chatting it's probably realistic... Grace smiles a lot in "real life".))

Ian laughed "Far from it!" he dried his hands after finishing up "No, just a recent acquainted friend" he noticed Micah had his cell phone out, and when not talking to him he was vigorously pounding the keys, apparently texting "Who are you talking to?" Ian asked

Brian nodded "I think I remember him vaguely." he played with the menu which had been put before them "I can tell your glad he's back. You haven't been this happy in awhile"

Richard's curiosity sparked as the young man explained he was just back from Ronia. "I had a son who went to Ronia" he mumbled then rested his elbows on the encounter "Five-thirty works for me."

Cassandra James watched as her Mother absentmindedly made breakfast. Her cell phone was pressed to her ear and she chatted curtly to the person on the other end. Her Mom was forever busy. She never seemed to have time for her lonely 7 year old daughter. Always gone to her job, or too busy to talk. All day little Cassandra would spend at a babysitter. Then at mid-night or sometime after, her single parent would come to pick her up.
One single egg was then flopped onto her plate and she was ordered to eat quickly.
"I have to be at your babysitters in 10 minutes so eat that fast Cassandra!" her Mother barked and returned to her call
Cassandra felt one small tear drip down her face, then she stuffed the hard boiled egg into her mouth. She hated eating fast, but it was always this way. "I'm down Mommy"

Tim left the kitchen, sandwiches in hand, and went out to the garage, where he had parked his car. He waited, pacing back and forth, for his friends to arrive. He wanted to be out looking for Melisha now... why had she run? He knew that his father was terrible to her, he almost wanted to punch his father every day... but run away? it wasn't like her.
He paused for a moment, and tapped his foot, getting impatient. He heard a car coming and he looked outside.

"Good, see you then" Nate said to Richard, then turned and walked out the door, he hurried over to Chilies where he was going to meet up with Peter. As you can tell Nate had grown up a lot since he left Ditto Town, he had to. The war had harded him, made him stronger, yet in many ways weaker.
Either way he was changed, for better or for worse, and he wasn't sure that Pete would like the new Nathaniel Green, oh well. That would be his problem, not Nate's. Nate opened the door to the restaraunt and walked in, there was Peter, sitting in a booth next to who must be Brian. Nate waved and walked over.
If you ain't first, you're last.
Micah sighed. "Some girl who wondered why I havent been in school since the second day of school. She also moved here from the place I ran away from. She keeps asking what's wrong with me and asked if I would try out for any sports like my life can ever be normal. I have an abusive dad who is sending out people to kill me, I stole for a living, got beaten if I refused to steal and now some girl from my dad's town noticed me? What do I do? She asked me if I liked sports. It's not like I have anytime for those!"

Peter smiled, "Well, it is kind of hard when some guy reminds your of your past and then some girl tells your new friends that you cry over hair."
He noticed Nate walking in, something seemed wrong with his leg. He was limping and Peter noticed why when Nate got there. Half one of his legs was prothsteic. He gave his friend a man hug. "Hey. Glad you're back." He was sure Nate remembered Brian, but introduced him just in case. "So, what all you do in Ronia?"

Nate tried to resist the hug, when he found he couldn't he just tolerated the hug, "Hello Brian" he said and shook his hand, as he sat down Peter asked him what had happened in Ronia "War happened" he replied, flinching.
If you ain't first, you're last.
Peter took in Nate's flinching. He had warned him not to go to war, but it was too late now. "You're a hero for the country now. Get military discounts. You've gotta be at least excited about that." He knew it was no use being optimistic, like how was that gonna make up for a missing leg? He looked at the menu. Finally, a waiteer came up, asking them what they would like to drink.

Sighing, Micah responded to Grace via internet, "I don't have time for sports. Never did."

Nate replied to the waitress "I'll take a Dr. Pepper" he said, that was one thing that haddn't changed, his love of Dr. Pepper "Yeah, thats about all I'm excited about as of now, I got a couple thousand bucks in benifits" he said with a slight grin "That will buy me a truck and stock in a gas station" he said grinning even more.
If you ain't first, you're last.
Peter was glad to see his friend smiled again. "I'll have water wiht no lemon," he saisd to the waitress. Then, he turned to Nate. "What kind of truck ya gonna buy?"

Sighing, Micah responded to Grace via internet, "I don't have time for sports. Never did."
"That's too bad..." Grace responded. "You should come to some of the football games when the season starts! Although, do you like sports at all? I mean, like... well... I'd love to talk with you sometime! Maybe we could figure out a day, or time... whatever... I'm not making much since am I? LOL! Oh well. All I'm tryin' to say is I'd love to meet you somewhere, sometime."

When the waitress came around Brian ordered a Pepsi. After that he listened to the conversation between Nate and Peter. He felt so out of place and like he wasn't supposed to be there. Nate had been Peter's best friend at one time, now he was back and he felt like he shouldn't be there. But he didn't leave for fear of being rude. He just staid....and listened. Nate had shook his hand and said hi when he came in, and Brian had responded with a nod and hello.

Ian shrugged "Well....tell her something. I'm sure she has no ties to your Dad so she's probably fine"

Micah bit his lip. Maybe Ian was right. Maybe she had no ties to his dad. He responded, "A football game would be a great way for us to meet." He wanted to add, "Because I never got to enjoy highschool before and might as well enjoy what's left of it," but decided it would be best left unsaid.

Peter turned to Brian, as if he knew Brian felt out of place. "So, watcha gonna order to eat?"

"Alright then!" Grace typed. "Since I'm a cheerleader we won't be able to sit together, but we could hang out after the game, and talk about it! It'll be fun! We could get a soda or something, I'll buy! There's a lot of benches around the school, so we wouldn't have to worry about not having a place to sit. Sound fun?!

Johnny smacked his face. "Dang. I always get sidetracked. I used to blame it on me being a musician and all that. But I guess I have no excuses now." He sighed. "Back to business then?"
"I don't know what kind of sound she likes," Johnny said. "Personally, I think you can't go wrong with a Gibson or a Fender. But that might be because I have a friend who's PR for the Gibsons, so every conversation turns into a sales pitch for them. But really, Gibsons and Rics have stood the test of time." He demonstrated by grabbing one of his own guitars and strumming an off-key chord.

Ally heaved a sigh and launched herself off Stacey's bed. "So, we gonna look for Logan, or what?"

"Bo-o-oss," Alec sang into the phone. "I have some information. Do you want it, or would you rather leave everything to my fantastic judgement?"
