Bridget nodded, but when Maralyn mentioned he was available, she blushed and said, "Oh, well...I'm sure he'll find a nice girl."

"No worries, man," Logan said when Peter warned him about Stacey, and Ally's influence over her. "I can take care of myself. Thanks for the tip, though."

Emmy looked up when Peter asked what was wrong, and saw that he and the others were approaching. "Nothing's wrong," she replied, and then realized what it must look like, her and Brian sitting alone together. Her eyes darted as she tried to explain. "I just don't like crowds, that's all," she said quickly, feeling embarrassed. She turned her eyes downward, straightening the hem of her skirt out of nervous habit.

"Emmy's just a fun-ruiner," Logan chuckled, "She always ditches right when the fun starts." He grinned, having fun at his twin sister's expense.

Emmy shot a frustrated glare at him. "I am not, Logan," she protested quietly.

Logan shrugged, "Yeah, whatever." He sat down next to her, situating himself between her and Brian. "But seriously, Emmers, you need to learn to hang out with better company." He didn't specifically gesture to or even look at Brian when he said this, but he hoped the subtle jab would be recognized by the other boy. Logan and Emmy may not have the greatest relationship, but she was still his sister, and he didn't like the idea of her and Brian being friendly.

Maralyn said, "Well, Justin and I were interuppting you two. He seemed prety intersted, so I thought maybe we interrupted. Justin just really wanted to see his older brother." Awkward.

Peter was glad Logan forgave him, but wished he would stop making fun of Emmy and Brian. "How about we go to the mall?"

Bridget waved a hand. "Oh, no, it's fine. We had only just finished introducing ourselves."

Maralyn said, "Oh, okay. Well, Johnny might get upset with Justin and I for interuppting though, so why don't we go back to where the men are?"

Stacey eyes teh worn out jeans, looking at the price tag. She gasped, "Forty dollars?"

Bridget nodded. "Okay. Lead the way."

Sydney chuckled. "Heh, that's why I rarely shop here..."

Stacey ripped off the price tag. "Wadday say we walk out of here? Stuff is so overpriced."

When the two fo them got towards the men, Maralyn fingered Justin's short hair, glad it reached his shoulders. It reminded her of a man from teh olden days, but he was so honorable he may as well be.

Sydney stared at Stacey. "You're just kidding, right?"

She wasn't but something told her she wanted to be Syd's friend and didn't want her to think badly of her. So, she put the jeans down, along with the tag. "Let's keep looking around here. THere's gotta be some stuff on sale."

Sydney was relieved when Stacey set the jeans down. They moved toward a different clothing rack. Sydney pulled a pair of jeans of the rack and held them out to Stacey. "These are similar and a lot cheaper."

Bridget stood next to Johnny, observing the baby in his arms. She looked at Justin and Maralyn, "You two have been blessed with such a precious gift."

She extended her hand toward Justin. "Hi, I'm Bridget. Maralyn told me who you are."

Stacey fingered the worn out jeans, trying to think of a new shirt she would buy with them. She looked at the size, then said, "They might work. Let's find a shirt to go with them. You buying anything?"

Justin smiled, "Hey." He still was not completely comfortable with strangers over the age of 18, but pushed that aside. He chuckled at himself, figuring it was about time he was since he was 23. It wasn't that he was afraid of him, he just was a little on edge due to his past and the crazy stuff that happened over the past year. "So...what you and Johnny up to?"

Logan nodded, "Yeah, sounds great to me. Haven't checked out the Ditto Town mall yet."

Emmy stood from the bench. "No thanks. I think I'll head home."

"There she goes again," Logan said, "like I said, fun-ruiner."

"I'm not ruining anyone's fun," she retorted. "You guys go ahead; I just want to go home now." She was tired of Logan picking on her, and she didn't want to go to the mall just to get more of it there. Besides, she didn't like socializing, and going to the skate park was already enough for her for one day.

Logan sighed and turned to the others, clearly annoyed at his sister's behavior. "Alright, let's go then. She doesn't have to have fun if she doesn't want to."

"It's not like that," Emmy protested, feeling her face heat up with anger and embarrassment. She looked like she was going to say something else to her brother, but she turned away with a huff. "I'll see you guys tomorrow," She managed to say to the others, and after a hasty good-bye wave, she turned and began to leave. He's right; there is something wrong with me, she thought, but she didn't want to go to the mall and pretend like she was having fun anymore. She was too upset now; no going back.

"I don't know why she gets like that," Logan remarked as he watched her walk away, feeling just a little bit sorry for her. He looked to the others. "I could probably convince her to come, if you guys want me to..."

Jen shook her head. "I'll handle it." She rushed over to Emmy's side. "Hey, don't let your brother get to you. My siblings and I say stuff to each other all the time, doesn't mean it's true. Why don't you come with us to the mall? Maybe we can find some good books and CDs."

Declan examined the jeans that Sydney was holding up. He then shook his head, "Naw, they're not my type. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing those things."

~~~~~~~~~~~~
As Syre made his way towards the mall, he passed the Skate park. Ha! Skateboarders. Syre thought, then as he had every intention on moving on, he noticed a couple of people hanging out at the park. So changing his mind from going to the Mall he approached. "Yo! what's up?"
Sydney laughed at Declan. "That's a good thing, I think."
Sydney shrugged at Stacey, setting down the shirt she had in her hands. "Not from here, no."
~~~~~~~~~~~

"We weren't really up to anything." Bridget looked at Johnny, a slight smile on her face. "We had actually just met when you guys walked up."

"I do have a favor to ask, though. I know, we just met, but I need a couple of guys to help me with something." Bridget flipped her hair behind her shoulder and said, "My sister and I just moved here, and we've got a lot of boxes in the back of my truck. Would you two mind helping me bring them into my house?"
