Declan high-fived Logan, but he glanced to see what Logan was looking at, and saw Brian. Must be trying to prove something to him.
Declan wiped the sweat from his forehead, and continued to play. As he ran by Logan, he shouted out, "Dude! This game is epic."
"Lot's of Planets have a North!" ~ The Doctor
It was only mere minutes later, but seemed like hours to Brian, that he shot up in they air and shoved the ball down into the hoop; completing another point for his team, and pulling them ahead of Logan and Declan's scoring spree. He glanced over to the score board, where Jen had faithfully and accurately wrote the scores. It read '6 to 5'. Six was their score, and five was Logan's and Declan's. He beamed and hyped himself up for another run for the ball, when there was a shout and Peter motioned to his watch. Is it over already!? he wondered in astonishment, glancing up to see the large clock that hung over the double exit doors to the gym. Indeed, it read there game was over. Meaning they won!!! He jumped in the air, shooting his fist up with a cry of victory "Yes! We won!" he gave Peter a high five and turned to Logan and stuck out his hand. Though pride glowed inside from beating the arrogant boy, he wanted to be a good sport. "Nice game" he said waiting for him to shake his hand. He wondered if Emmy had seen their victory, and what she thought of his skill in the game. He wished to stare up at the bleachers, but chose not to, not wishing to make her uncomfortable. He waited patiently for Logan to extend his hand as well. Or will he?....

Brandon grunted and stumbled, falling into the wooden backed chair that greeted his aching spine. He watched as the officer sat down calmly, staring at him with brown eyes. Though Brandon's green one's were an unwavering gaze, he kept them diverted from they face of the police man. The bullet, still lodged and uncared for in his side, hurt and kept him from twisting to sit in a normal position. He gasped for breath, and turned to finally look the worker of the law, in the eye "And what of my side, officer? Are you going to lock my up with no attendance?" His witty tone would not help his case, but he couldn't help but lace it with disgust. "Of all people, I thought you would be the most considerate of people's health, since normally you like to put someone in a cell only when he is supreme condition" he tossed his wet bangs from his face with a jerk and swish of his head. For this I have no words, but those of hate.. he thought poetically

Rain began pouring, pitter patter, plop plop, on Melisha's head and shoulders. She groaned and covered her hair with her pack, looking around at the streets and sidewalk. There were no spreading trees near her, and the bench she had stopped to rest on was out in the open. When a wave of thunder rumbled above, and a crack of lightening sounded, she quickly hurried away from the cast iron bench and toward a cluster of downtown buildings. Their paint was peeling, and their windows were cracked or broken, but they were at least shelter from the storm. When she arrived at the back door of the first, her hand found the slick handle and she turned it, rushing inside through the space that opened into the dark interior. When she slammed the door behind her, she faced the darkness and sucked in a breath, wondering if this had not been the best idea. "He-hello?" she stuttered, barely in a whisper, seeing the flickering of light reflecting against a pillar; coming down from the low ceiling. She took a few baby steps forward, and gulped hearing no answer to her pleading greeting. She would have run then, if she did not hear the urgent cry of a woman. Faint, but incredibly painful and urgent. She bit her lip, and wondered who this was...and presently...what was happening to her? What is this place?? she wondered in alarm, barely able to see her own fingers. "Please....if anyone is there...answer me!" she ordered, and shakily inched forward. There was suddenly a scuffle of feet ahead and she almost screamed diving to the side and hiding in the darkest corner of the room. Two figures approached where she had been standing, clad in dark clothing, they were tall and looked menacing. She buried her face into her arms and cried silently, hoping they did not see her quavering form. Who are these men? Why have they come? Did they hear me calling? Who is that crying that I hear? What are they going to do when they find me? she sobbed into her arms wondering about all of these things, and praying to God that the figures would pass, as ghosts. There was a sudden eruption of a voice, close to her and she jumped scrambling to get away from it. "Who are you!?" it growled meanly and she felt a hand grasp her arm...

Susan heard the resounding knock of the knocker on her door, and dropped her spoon with a plop and splash into her soup. She swallowed the broth and meat she had been chewing and stood, composing herself for a minute in a long mirror that stood in her dining room. She could see, even in the dim fire light, the red stains from her crying and she cursed her family for making her so upset. Snatching a wool cloak from an over stuffed chair, she put it around herself hiding the upper bodice of the gown she was wearing. When she arrived at the oak door, she opened it slowly looking out with wide eyes at the drenched and shivering man

Ian almost gasped at the beauty of the woman before him. He tried to shut his gaping mouth but barely could as he stuttered "Hello Ma’am...may I come in? I need shelter from the storm" he said, trying to think of any possible excuse for him to enter her home. This was certainly the woman from his dreams...but she was far prettier in life then in his sleep
Maralyn smirked at her husband and rose feebly from the bed. A wave of weakness washed over her and she sunk for a minute, and was suddenly supported fully by Justin's arms. She smiled over at him, then kissed his hand before holding Sarah to herself and going to the door. "Let's go home now..." she said quietly and slipped her pink into the hand of her baby's

Peter excitedly rushed to his girlfriend, gretting her with a hug. "That was awesome!" Then, he noticed Emmy. "Hey, what's your name?"

"ah dude," Declan said, breathing heavily, "That was awesome. The tension between you two at those last few minutes was awesome, it was like the ending of Rocky when he was fighting Apollo Creed."
Declan shook his head in amazement as he thought about the game, "The only thing that would make it more Epic would be a great soundtrack song in the background."

Logan felt a familiar frustration boil up within as the game ended, that burned his mind and made his teeth clench tight. That shouldn't have happened... he thought, we were gonna win! Brian approached him and stretched out his hand. Logan wasn't feeling very sportsmanlike at all. He stared at Brian's hand with an arched brow, and then chuckled, swishing his hair in his signature style. "You guys got lucky. But sure, if you want to call that one fluke a good game... sure." He grinned falsely, and didn't take Brian's hand. He walked over to where Peter was and gave him a friendly slap on the shoulder. "Pete, you played great. Can't wait to be on a team with you. And Decks, my man! We may not have won, but we rocked, huh?" He intentionally said nothing about Brian's skill, even though he had seen first hand that he was a very good basketball player. It was at this point that he noticed the new girl standing there. He swished his hair and nodded to her. "Hey, how's it going?" he said in a casual tone that didn't really seem to care; his mind was a bit preoccupied with the embarrassment of losing the game.
Emmy knew Logan was upset inside about losing, even if he was trying to hide it by playing it cool. In truth, she was glad he had lost. She was also glad Brian had won; he deserved it. She saw how Logan was trying to put him down, and it kind of angered her. Why does he have to be like that?

Peter grinned cheerfully. "Thanks. I am so excited for try-outs. You two did a good job."
He turned to Brian, "You did great. So, I gues that means we chose what we do tomorow?"
He chuckled about declan's suggestion of a soundtrack. "Hey Decks, do you like Narnia?"

Maya watched as the game finished and the guys walked over to where she and the other two girls were standing, getting nervous from all the questions directed from her.
Maya looked over to one of the boys who had come over to them. "I'm Brooklyn." She looked at the other boy. "Well..." She looked at the sopping wet clothes. "it could be better," she laughed, trying to ease the awkward silence.
"You, Will Scarlet, are strong, and true, and you fight for what you believe in. And that is why I love you."
Chloe hestitated at the door of the hospital, her hand froze in the position of knocking. She was an aunt! It was hard to believe. Even though she had nine months to think about it, she was still warming up to the idea. She had a little neice! Chloe smiled, and raised her hand to knock. Her hand hit air as the door swung open. Justin was standing in the doorway. A nurse was beside Maralyn, helping her into a wheelchair. The nurse placed a tiny bundle into Maralyn's arm.
Chloe entered the room. "Aww," she exclaimed as she marveled over the infant. Sarah was wrapped in a pink blanket, a hospital hat over her head. Her red face was peeking out from the blanket, her eyes closed in sleep. One tiny hand was curled up beside her fat cheek. "She's sleeping," Chloe stated the obvious as she brushed a finger over the baby's nose.

Miley came in behind Chloe, excited to see her new niece. "Oh Justin! Sh'es beautiful!"
She turned to ehr best friend. "I can't believe we are aunts now!"
Justin siad, "You are. Just hope if she gets a little cousin anytime soon it's from our older siblings." He gave Miley a smirk.
Miley laughed. "Oh, you!"

Maralyn leaned against the back of the wheelchair. She looked up at the nurse to say she was ready to go. The nurse began to push her out fo the room.
"It's totally exciting. We get to dress her in the cutest outfits. It's going so fun!" Chloe said to Miley.
The nurse pushed Maralyn out to her car. When they got there, Chloe opened the door for her sister and took the baby from her arms so she could get in more easily.

"She's too little to protest," Chloe laughed.
Maralyn put on her seat belt. "Oh, Justin. I forgot those flowers from my aunt. I wanted to bring them home." She turned around in her seat. "Miley, I think that piece goes right into there." She gestured as to how the baby car seat fastened in.

Justin said, "Hold on, I'lll go get them." He rushed inside to get the flowers and came out with them.
Meanwhile, Miley helped put the baby seat in correctly. ONce they were all in the car, Miley said, "Peter made some new friends at school today."

As Justin walked into the hospital, a black van pulled up beside Maralyn's minivan. The side door slid open and a man wearing a ski mask jumped out. He opened the minivan driver's door and started the van with the keys that were in the ignition. Before anyone could react, he hit the gas and drove away.
The black van was waiting when Justin came back out. Two men jumped out and flanked him. They quickly pulled a bag over his head. The flowers dropped from his hands. Grabbing both of his arms, they pushed him into the van. The wheels screeched as they drove off.
"What are you doing!" Chloe demanded of the man in the front seat. He adjusted the mirror so he could better see her, but said nothing.
