Chrissa knew that Miley had preferred the pink dress. The red dress look very sweet on Miley, but it still irked Chrissa to know that Miley had been bullied into exchanging her dress because of Pam. "Okay. So, we're looking for a navy dress for me, right?"

Miley nodded. "Yeah. Let's get to the Eagle as soon as possible." SHe looked back sadly at the dress she returned. Still, it was worth keeping RYan and her hair.

Chrissa saw Miley glance back. Her friend was upset. Chrissa didn't know what to do. "Yeah, I bet the Eagle will have good clothes. And maybe Amanda will be there, and she can help us."

Miey shuddered and nodded.

Amanda was there, shopping with DIane. SHe had the day off, os she did some shopping herself. She turned and saw Miley with a sad, scared expression and Chrissa looking angry. She rusehd to the younger girls. "What's the matter?"

"Did you ever know a girl named Pam?" Chrissa asked. "Because she is the worst bully since Betsy!" she vented.

Diane fingered her hair, looking alarmed.

"She practically forced Miley to switch her pink dress for a different one, because Pam wanted to wear the pink dress," Chrissa ranted. "She said that if Miley didn't exchange, she would take away Ryan."

Miley blurted, "And she also threatened to pull out my hair!"

Amanda's eyes widened. How could someoen do that to someone as sweet as Miley? "I don't think I know her." She looked at Diane. "Do you?"

Diane shifted uneasily. Images and memories were flashing back. "Um, I think we were friends quite a few years ago." She swallowed. "When I was, well, you know, before I changed."

Amanda saw the uneasiness in her friend's face and put a hand on her back. "Maybe you can call her parents and tell them what she did."

When Justin and Kevin got to the mall, Justin said, "You go talk to the newspaper guy while I look for Miley, okay?"

"Yes si- er ok Justin" he said almost fazing into military mode, he shook his head as he walked toward the newspaper office.

Justin smirked, when kevin almost called him "sir." HEe was glad to have a loyal friend like that. He would have come in with him, but needed to help Miley. He looked around fractically, until he saw Miley at teh Eagle. He ignored the fact there were other people there, and called out, "Miley!"

Miley turned to see Justin, from where she was standing with her friends. She wondered why he looked so worried. He rushed to her and hugged her close as possible. Suprised, she hugged him back. Then, he pulled away and held onto her shoulders. "Miley, are you okay? Nate told me you got threatened! Is somebody trying to hurt you?"

He tried to calm down, as Miley explained everything that happened, but it cause his blood to boil up inside of him. He truned to Amanda, Diane and Chrissa. "You girls know her number? I'm calling Pam's parents."

Rusty leaned back in his recliner gloating over the newspaper article he had wirtten for the day. It sounded like a horror movie. One boy gets his hair pulled out by some pschyco and a girl almost gets taken back by abusive foster parents. Nothing like a little juice on a sunday morning. He wiped the sly grin off his face, when an angry looking young man came in his office.

Kevin put his hands on Rustys desk "I'd like to have a word with you mister, if you can spare me some of your time" he said with a snarl.

Rusty chuckled. "Go right ahead. Have a seat." He clasped his hands togehter on his desk, with this best politician smile. He wanted to be mayor, but no one voted for him. So, he was stuck with this job.

"No I'll stand thank you" said Kevin, he leaned slightly on his better leg. "I'm here to talk to you about to pictures you recently put in your newspaper and don't play innocent with me, I'v dealt with more politicians than you'v seen in your entire life and if I can out fox a president I can see right through you newspaper man"

With a smug grin, Mr. Rusty stood up, facing his opponent. He wanted to inform the poor kid that he ran for mayor, but decided against it. It would be better if he did not admit to losing. "Oh which one? That little boy who got his hair pulled out?" He laughed. "What is a little hair loss? How's he gonna deal when it's gone for good? Not take any more pictures?" He sighed, shaking his headc. "Or the girl who's abusive foster parents showed up? Well, maybe if the brat were better behaved, they would not have abused her!"

"Both" Said Kevin while pulling out his badge and a slip of paper which he began writing on "You are receiving this fine for breaking ordinance 1023 which clearly states that you may not publicly display any pictures of minors without they’re parents permission. If you wish to challenge this in court you may do so on February the fifteenth”
