If there is going to be an explanation of this, some of my characters would love to be around to hear it . Of course, they are already in the next morning after the events in question, so they may have to get it second hand after the first discussion.

Abby's RESET post (the real one!) will come sometime this week, I think. Then I might fast-forward to sunset and a discussion between Abby and Erik in which he theorizes on what's happened
leuth, this might be a great chance for a little collaboration. Maybe Rose and Toby go to the Emporium to see what's going on, and the discussion can go from there? PM me if you're interested (but no pressure to do so, and no immediate rush).
(And perhaps this could tie into your interaction with Enna's character as well, if that's agreeable with both of you).
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
Haha, stargazer. I have to admit, when I first read
leuth: I like how you incorporated Rose's dreaming into all of this--very cool! (Can't imagine the headache your characters must have right now, though! XD)
Just posted the "real world" version of Ryana and Kirane's conversation. That was intended as a one-off post, so I can jump back into the "bad reality" any time we want.

I didn't mean to drop off so randomly. My life's kind of exploded schedule wise the last couple of weeks. Hopefully I'll get to post again before June. I'll try and get caught up on all the recent posts as soon as I can.
And so my "mini-arc" ends. Hopefully, there will be some more discussion at the Emporium, but we will need to collaborate on those segments

And... we're back.
My characters are available for collaboration.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
This is so much fun to watch!! (Okay, so I'm participating, too, but... you know what I mean. )
Okay, I've got a question which might apply more to people who have been around since at least story 5. Basically, my next segment (for now) is starting with Kirane asking Ryana more questions about the town's history, and I realized a problem. Ryana pretty much only got involved after the Organization tried to take over the town, so she wasn't involved in the discussions/battles/etc. when certain details (e.g., the Fountain of Youth, how many people used to work for the Organization, etc.) were revealed. So, how much do we want to say is common knowledge for Dittopians, and how much might a member of the Patrol know compared to others?
(To clarify--I'm not planning to go into extensive detail in this post, but an idea of how much Phoenix Archer should know would really help. )

Depending on how the "explanations" work out, I may have one more interesting post in my dream arc. I still am not sure how this is resolved, or if it is resolved.

I think it's fair to say that, as a member of the Patrol, Ryana would be privvy to some of the details of battles that happened before her arrival. But I suspect most of her information would be strategic rather than historical - for example, local landmarks that have been of interest to the Organization in the past (like the Fountain), battle tactics that have worked (or not worked), and so on - rather than focusing too much on the details of of those battles. Make sense?

So I'm inclined to skip ahead until dusk (the night before Toby and Rose head for the Emporium) so Abby can grill Erik about what he knows.
But before that, Erica and her brother are still visiting. Aravanna, you're welcome to write about how all this looks from their perspective.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
Thanks for your thoughts, stargazer!
I don't really have much to add right now, except.... I was re-reading Ditto Story 7, and I happened to come across a certain old post. Erik, Iaffn and Angharad are trying to get in touch with Aria, while she's still on the StarSeeker somewhere in deep space. So, Aria's trying to figure out what emergency prompted the call. I kid you not, this is what she said:
"What’s up? Did the Emporium blow? Is somebody dead?"
...Oh, the irony.

Good find, Rya!
I really didn't have that in mind when I wrote that segment, though now that you mention it, I do recall that bit.
Ironic indeed.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
Someone reading the whole series from scratch would be convinced that someone had a planned it from the beginning and had planted it in as "deep sleeper" foreshadowing.

I love the Ditto Story. Have I ever mentioned that?
Seriously, even the plotting going on in the Library is a fun read! I love Sonny's idea for connecting the two realities. If that actually happens, Rya, I'd love to continue our collaboration and see what Phoenix Archer does in that situation (and how poor Alex gets out of his fix.)
Leuth, I enjoyed your contributions. They were very clever. And would it be all right for my characters to be present at the Emporium when this all gets discussed?
I'm going to go ahead and try to put a post up tonight in the "good" reality and wrap up Erica, Alex, Val, and Ember's plot.
Oh, and Rya, that is an exceptional find. Maybe JillPole knows the future.

As would I; I have been trying to figure out how they'd get out of this, now that the bad reality is sticking around (instead of poofing into non-existence). I'll PM you.

Leuth, I'm beginning to believe your theory, since I remember finding another one of those ironic quotes earlier. Sadly, I can't remember what it was or which story....
I'm not sure if it was Cymru or JP who wrote that line (it was a Cymru segment but Aria who said it), but either way, I'm beginning to wonder if we should tell them. Problem being, of course, there's no way to do that without mentioning that, y'know, we blew up the Emporium and killed Erik and Abby.... (But they got better.)
EDIT: Posted this before I checked the story for updates. Love your latest post, Ara; I loved how you incorporated Erica's "memories" into the rest of it. (Also, that ending was just perfect. I don't know if I should call it foreshadowing or what, but it simultaneously made me chuckle and want to give alternate Erica a hug....)

Varna hasn't said a word through all this - I've decided it's because she's in London and won't know about it until she's back, which is probably when everything is back to normal.
I need to find the book where I wrote down the beginning of her journey to England and to London. Now, where did I put it?
