Apparently we keep getting news about Caspian being guided by a blue star. My guess is that it may be Lillaindill.
But if thats the case, that may mean she could get several appearances before Ramandu's Island shows up.
Do you guys think that she will appear before the island in the film. And maybe a better question: SHOULD she appear before Ramandu's Island in the film?
Winter Is Coming
I think the possibility that she WILL have an appearance or two is very probable, judging from the "blue star" deal. Although, I'm not sure what kind of appearance. It could be the blue star is just seen in the night sky, or maybe Caspian will dream about her. They could even have her voice tell them where to go, like a GPS (although I hope they don't!).
As for whether she SHOULD... I'm torn. I think if she doesn't have an appearance, it will add to the mystery of her character (I still think she should be mysterious, even if she has a name now). But it could help the storyline to have her appear beforehand, instead of having Lilliandil randomly pop up on the island and fall in love with Caspian.
Either way, it could add or take away from the story. I'm undecided at this point.

I think that she just might appear before Ramandu's Island. It seems as though many of the clues from the leaked script about RD is coming true, so Caspian could in fact have a dream about her before meeting Lilliandil.
I don't have a problem with it if it goes in this direction because it leads in their romantic story.

In the leaked script, a blue Star is guiding the Dawn Treader, which in the end turns out to be Lilliandil. Caspian also frequently dreams of her during the course of the adventure.
^^ any idea if any of that made it to the actual movie?

Yes agree with you Reepi! That is exactly what I was thinking about the whole time. Obviously the crew and director wanted to keep this segment into the movie.
I really hope that i'm not the only one who like this idea. I think it would be perfect. Let alone I hope that the dreams that Caspian may end up having of Lilliandil comes from Aslan putting RD there in his head and that they are actual visions instead of RD giving them to him. It would be weird and wrong if Lilliandil is giving Caspian these dreams/visions and telling other people for Caspian to follow her only for the sake to meet the king and having him fall in love with her over that time instead of letting it happen naturally. Love should be destiny.

Yes but as much as I hate to say this; in the book it was hard for Caspian to find a Queen for an entire three years yet he still courted many women before meeting RD. Either he was a very shallow man or he was once broken hearted. I know people with broken hearts will have hard times finding some one or even dating some one for a long time because they get paranoid that those things might happen again to them. Either RD reminds him of a past love or she helped him get over it. He might of been in love with her all along and the dreams of RD may have already been happening in his childhood. The painful part to say is; or he probably knows for a fact that he is over Susan but there is something so mild that isn't letting go of him until RD came along and he is now madly in love with Lilliandil.

It sounds like she might appear before Ramandu's Island, but I hope she doesn't. If the romance is drawn out over most of the movie it will take away screen time from other things. I like Caspian/RD (I know, I know, Lilliandil), but I don't think it needs to take up a lot of time.

Where do you get that idea? Caspian didn't court anyone in the books. Unless you're thinking of this part: "--And unhorsed many knights," repeated Drinian with a grin. "We thought the Duke would have been pleased if the King's Majesty would have married his daughter, but nothing came of that--." "Squints, and has freckles," said Caspian. VDT On Board the Dawn Treader. I admit it's a bit shallow of Caspian to reject the girl because she squints, but he didn't do that to several girls. And he didn't have time to court anyone during those three years, he was busy repairing the kingdom, building up the navy, and fighting the northern giants.
There was a passage somewhere in the VDT book that had said so that I remembered. I think something in the Narrowhaven parts not the part about the Duke of Galma's daughter.
Yes within three years he could have been told to court a few, it doesn't mean that any of them were his girlfriends, but three years is a long time, he had to of been brought a few women between those years to find a queen.

If Caspian is having dreams about Lilliandil it would make sense if she appeared on the island where dreams come true. I am under the impression that all dreams are reality there not just nightmares, correct me if I'm wrong please.
^^ in the book, Rhoop tells the crew on the ship that the island is where nightmares come true. he says that it's not just dreams, but their "worst nightmares"
I hope that helps

No matter what you have been told, the material in the so-called "leaked script" is not going to be seen in this film.
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
^ Coracle we have already seen some clues that does lead to some of the things told from the leaked script. Sure they might change a few things from it and take out a few things but some of the material will probably remain.
I think we will come across Lilliandil before the island she appears on. As for the Dark Island it was described by Rhoop that the island is not where your desires come true but your worst nightmares.
