As much as I love Sergio Castellitto in Walden adaptation of Prince Caspian, and thought he really brought Miraz to life (unarguably one of Narnia's best villains), it's most likely we'll see another adaption of Prince Caspian from Netflix. Who do you think should play King Miraz?
"And this is the marvel of marvels, that he called me beloved."
(Emeth, The Last Battle)
The thing is Miraz is never actually described in the book, so he looks very different, and not just in the BBC and Walden adaptations (which have vastly different looking portrayals). For example, in the book’s illustration of the duel, he appears to be a clean-shaven white man, but on this cover from the 80’s (?) depicting the duel, he has a mustache and his ethnicity isn’t quite clear. So really, it ultimately comes down to acting ability.
