Years? Will poulter is 9 years older then 8 and 4 years older then 13. No way I want Tirian older. Some one who was born between the years 1985-1991

I think f-k meant that in this year(2010) the actor should be around the age of 8-13. Because they are making the movies so slow, when it comes to the time when the last battle is made the guy will be 20-25. lol it was kind of a joke.

Oh. lol! I was about to say since Will Poulter was born in 1993, the production would have to cast some one for Tirian about 3 years older then him or at least looks it.

I have a feeling that these movie will move along quicker now that TCON are with a different production company now so hopefully 20th Century Fox will cooperate more professionally with Walden Media then Disney did. That way if VTD does great at box office these movies will start coming out one by one each year or two but filming would start every year back to back. i hope this happens that way they wouldn't have to cast someone too much older. I still have a feeling though that they'll get someone born between the years 1986-1991.

I have settled who I want for Tirian a LONG time ago. Jamie Bell. He's 24 now, I think, putting him in his early 30s when LB comes out. He's been in several films (King Kong, Jumper, Defiance), but I don't think he gets a whole lot of recognition. He has quite a charisma that automatically attaches to viewer to him (not just me, several people have noticed this), and his excellent performance as Asael in Defiance convinced me he's perfect for Tirian.

Jamie Bell would be perfect for the role. Too bad he's becoming a big star star now and isn't really too unknown. I hope the actor who plays him has done some movies and a few people know him. Not completely unknown.

Liberty Hoffman posted some guy on my Rilian forum named Rafi Gavron who was in "Inkheart" he was made to look mid eastern in the movie, but in some pictures he doesn't look it and has brown hair and lighter skin. He's good enough to look like a Telmarine.

Jamie Bell looks like he would be PERFECT, ChristProclamer! He fits my idea of Tirian wonderfully. I definitely think he's on my list of choices now.

Rafi Gavron is also not bad, Damsel. He wasn't quite what I'm picturing but I think he could still do a good job. He's on my list of potential actors too.

I've got another suggestion. What about Andrew James Allen? He's the exact vision of Tirian and I think he would do great in the role. What do you guys think?

He even looks like he can be related to both Ben Barnes and Laura Brent. He could pass as Rilian too I guess but he's got Tirian written all over him.

I agree Damsel^ Andrew James Allen is a very perfect candidate for Tirian. I know exactly what you mean by him being the vision for him because when I saw those pictures of him and him act in that Johnny sequel on Disney Channel (even though he played a mean role ) his looks matches the description and while has few dark features he's still soft looking. I love that he is mentioned because I'm going to start rooting for Andrew now! He looks like he was made to play the role too and he's still relatively unknown to except a couple of people around the world.
