Okay, I definatly think Lucy is better in LWW. She was my favorite character in that movie, and my LEAST favorite character in PC.

In PC she tried to be all innocent and cute, but instead came across as annoying. Because she would ruin every serious moment by trying to be all giggily and smiling with kid like innocence in order to remind the the children of the audience that everything is alright.

I hated how after saving Trumpkin with the coridal she's all smiling and trying to be cute, when the death of 100+ Narnians should be something to mourn over. Not that she shouldnt be happy that Trumpkin lived, but I think she should have just given a brief smile in an attempt to lighten the mood instead of actually being a happy person once Trumpkin lived.

She had a similar reaction after the battle of Beruna 2, when Reepicheep was saved and when she says "do you see him now?" to Trumpkin.

And the way she would stare at "cute" creatures like Reephicheep or the centaur kid, or the way she was hugging and crying on Peter when the bear died....its just didnt work.

Acting cute worked when Lucy looked like a little girl. She was great in LWW. But in PC she just looked and sounded too old to be acting like a 8 year old. Which is frustrating, because all of the other characters (as well as the audience) matured while she kept dragging the tone back to kiddieness.

That is a hard decision but I think I liked her in PC. She is always the first to see Aslan but in this one I like how she even sees him in her dream and she believed in him the whole time!! But I also liked her in LWW for mostly the same reason as everyone else, she was more innocent!!! Anyway I thought she did great in both movies!!
