IDK I know that Lewis always ended his stories of how and where his characters ended up, like how Caspian and Ramandu's daughter were explianed that they got married and such. I reread SC recently and Lewis said that Jill and Eustace remained only friends. If there were to be a romance between them now I think that it would go against the stories like Suspian did.
IDK only if they will add a romance Jill/Tirian should and could be an acception. I'm not talking full blown or that they have to kiss but there are many easy ways to make Tirian's chilvirous attitude look more attracted towards Jill.
If they don't think of adding romance then I wont be upset.

Please, please, please, please don't put any romances into LB. It just doesn't belong at all. LB is a very dark and solemn book until everyone finally gets to Aslan's Country, and by that point in the actual movie over half the movie will be over. Any sudden romances (whether it be between Jill and Eustace or Jill and Tirian) just wouldn't fit, imo, in the first half where all of Narnia is ending and being taken over by the Calormenes when the heroes should be concerned with those things, not who they happen to like as more than a friend. And in the last half in Aslan's Country/New Narnia, while I'm not going to say (or deny) that it's a complete copy of the heaven described in the Bible, it still doesn't seem appropriate for any of the characters to suddenly go "Oh well, Narnia just ended, that's sad...hey, Eustace/Tirian/Lucy/Jill/etc., you're a nice person, I like you, let's get married." With the destruction of Narnia, the news that Queen Susan is no longer a friend of Narnia, and the joy and wonder of Aslan's Country/New Narnia, none of the characters should be thinking about a romance with any of the other characters.
And this is coming from someone who actually kind of likes the idea of Jill and Eustace as a romantic pairing.
I reread SC recently and Lewis said that Jill and Eustace remained only friends.
Could you post the quote that says that? It's been awhile since I read SC, so I don't remember reading that.

And Jill and Eustace were always friends
At the end of the second paragraph towards the end of the book.

Well, of course we know that Eustace and Jill were only friends, just by reading the next book, LB. They are still only friends in that book. And at the end of the book,
So it's pretty obvious they never became an "official" couple. The only thing that people can specualte about is if they "liked" eachother, or "wished" they were a couple.

Imagine how Eustace would feel about Ed and Jill
. A love triangle!

NO no no Fox, Walden: please don't do that! No love triangle! Are you saying Eustace likes Jill in the books??
I didn't see it. I don't disagree with the idea; I just didn't see it. Please explain?
Now this is interesting!
Well that is assuming Eustace does like Jill. I believed that they had little crushes on each other when I first read the books. Again I'd rather not see a romance as i mentioned in previous posts as it's too similar to Aravis/Cor and LB is not appropriate for a romance, but I can see why people interpret a romance between them.

I think there shouldn't be anything at all. Let the film makers get it out of their system with HHB and then please, no more romance. It's not the point of Narnia, and Narnia has so many other great themes wo adding silly romances.
Well now that it is 20th century fox doing narnia i think that it is less likely that they will have a romance then if it were still diseny
watch me on youtube doing narnia monologues

Thankfully. One less big worry. With Disney it was a bit more likely than 50% chance (Heh. A very rough estimate.)

I've alwas imagined that if any romance were to kick off in The Last Battle it would be between Tirian and Jill. The do give off positive attractedness energy, while I think Jill and Eustace give off strong friendship energy, they have a more brotherly and sisterly love even though they are not related but that's the vibe I got from them and they should only remain as best friends as CS lewis intended them to be.
Lucy is a pure heart and I look at her as if she only opens herself into a relaionship with Aslan and her family, no one else. If Tirian shows Lucy interest like Caspian showed Susan, it's another Suspian story so please no. He was only being curtious to a Queen of Old and I'm positive he only respects her if you saw Ester before you.

Yeah I agree with you. I voted there shouldn't be any romance, but if they include a little hint of something between those two, I wouldn't pull out my hair. But it'd be better without it in my opinion.
^ hahaha!! i find your video very amusing glumpuddle!!!

Emeth and Lucy? Really? What kind of poll options are these?
Anything involving Lucy is out. Developing a romance after the climax of the movie would be bad structure.
Tirian/Jill would come off as strange. Tirian is supposed to be far, far older than Jill.
Jill/Eustace, I guess I wouldn't die if they did that...I just hate how romances tend to get thrown in to movies when they don't need to be. There's no romance in the book, people! It's ok if the movie doesn't have any!
I wouldn't like any of those. I can't say that I have detected a romance between Jill and Tirian. I will look for it next time I read the books.

Jill is adult age in Last Battle! It's seven years after SC and Tirian is described in in his early 20's. I don't see the huge deal here. Seeing as Will poulter is turning 18 the actress playing Jill will probably be too and will look close to Tirian's age, another not so big deal.
