Hmm. Interesting question. Here's my thoughts regarding some of the popular opinions.

Tirian/Jill- I think there's too much of an age difference. Tirian is described as between twenty and twenty-five, and Jill is around thirteen. When I saw this option I was like "What?? Why would anyone want that?"

Lucy/Tirian- my personal favourite. Tirian does seem to have an instant attraction to Lucy.

Lucy/Emeth- Lucy says twice of Emeth "I liked him." romance? simple peer-to-peer friendship? Make your choice.

Here's what I want: Nothing big, nothing obvious, maybe just a few subtle shy eye contacts between Lucy and Tirian and a quick shot of them walking together. That's it.

That's where you are wrong about Jill's age. In the time line seven years went by on earth between Silver Chair and Last Battle. That would make Jill 16 or 17 which is an adult age in the UK. And it looks to be that 8 people want a Jill and Tirian. That's more then anyone else in this poll.

I'm surprised that people even want a Lucy and Tirian, can you say "Suspian all over again?' Lucy is a well respected prophet. It would be like you seeing Jesus walk on water towards you. He is standing up for her when she was interrupted. And he trys to make the dwarfs to believe what she was trying to say. It's like he is trying to be a Disciple for her, it doesn't mean he wants to be romantically involved with her! And that is very much all that they do. Lucy is with her friend Tumnus and Aslan and Tirian is with Jill in Aslan's Country. There is nothing going on between Tirian and Lucy. You may want to read the book again.

If you want romance watch something ELSE.

just throwing somthing out there. but if there were to be a romance i think it should be Jill and edmund because throughout the book jill is always worried about the other back in their world and if there was a romance between the two it would show jills worrie and it would only be a mild one because they would have had to be already together and edmund isn't in most of LB so it would not be to distracting.

but anyways i voted that there should be no romance because it would go to far from c.s lewis original thought of Narnia.

I voted no romance because in Left Behind it seemed odd, like "Buck, I know the world is ending and every moment is torture, but I want to share in the torture with you, not all alone. For the short time we have, anyway." LB seems the same situation, pretty much.

Plus, C. S. Lewis didn't put it in.

Jill and Edmund! Wow, never thought of that. Film-makers might just do it, too. I wouldn't mind. It's just when people get all smoochy... But romance...I mean, people get married in real life! Edill or Jimund might be nice.

^^^^ I really wouldn't mind a Jill + Edmund relationship, as long as there isn't many bold hints to it. Maybe if it was just subtle hints it would be alright! Besides that I'm not really sure because C.S Lewis didn't put it in the book so I'm not really sure how they would develope it! Haha I love the names as well : Jimund and Edill!

But what would be the point of a Jill-Edmund relationship? Ed is several years older then her and besides there is nothing whatsoever to hint that in the books.

The Chronicles of Narnia are not romance novels and the movies do not need dumb teen romance in them to lame the story up.
