Ooh I can`t wait to see! I`m sure she will look great! I agree that its important she does get out there. She seems wise enough to make good choices that will help her career though.

Maybe you all know this, but the dress Georgie wore to the royal London premiere was by Alberta Ferretti, so it's cool that now she gets to be in her fasion show!
Sounds great, dreamerr. I just hope Georgie's dress is more modest, normal, and prettier than Anna's....
About the film on Georgie's Spanish wiki... http://www.infibeam.com/Books/info/Mari ... 2936X.html
An unknown orphan well versed in the black arts is raised by a Celtic sect living in the highlands of Northeastern Spain in the sixth century. The orphan girl soon finds out she is of noble birth and she will be reclaimed at all costs by her own people--the Goths.
Maria Gudin has contributed to La Reina Sin Nombre as an author. Maria Gudin is a medical doctor who specializes in neurology.
Same info on the 2007 book's page on Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/reina-sin-nombre- ... 846662936X. What's the truth about this? I have no idea!

Quite honestly I doubt I can ever picture anyone else as Lucy. Miss Henley's performances have been outstanding. I only wish we saw Lucy again sooner than Horse and His Boy.

Agreed!! I feel the same way. And about the Spanish Wiki thing, I don't think it's true, because I think her agency would have put it on her resume on their site, and it's not there.
first welcome to Narrniaweb The Just King! Its very nice to have you here!
I completely agree with you, if in 50 years time they decide to remake Narnia I will feel so bad for the little they cast as Lucy because I'm scared that I will just compare her to Georgie the entire time! Georgie is definitally maginifcent as Lucy and a great find on Pippa Hall's part

Picking Will Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes, and Georgie Henley is probably the best decision Adamson made when filming Wardrobe, bar-none.

@The Just King: agreed!
Possible future film role: I can't find any information for Maria Gudin or her novel La Reina Sin Nombre on Wiki [English] OR on IMDb. That the book itself is being made into a movie sounds like a rumor to me.
My fear with Georgie is that just like Lucy, she’ll sacrifice personal beauty on the altar of fashion. She’ll desire to be (or be like) someone else. Fashion comes and goes. Beauty lasts forever. Sometimes fashion can enhance beauty. But more frequently it can ruin it. Most of Georgie’s fashion photoshoots have shown just how beautiful she is. But one or two I thought transformed a beautiful swan into an ugly duckling. This is what I mean by sacrificing beauty on the altar of fashion. And this is why I want the January 11 event to go well. It’s rare that an ordinary person (or actor) meets one queen in a lifetime, let alone two. That Georgie will meet two queens in the space of six weeks is almost unheard of. So this is an important event for her. I just don’t like the fashion world – period. I don’t like the whole runway bit. All it makes me think of is the 2008 movie The devil wears prada. This movie is all about making mountains out of molehills – giving one’s life to something that really is NOT important.
I think she'll be alright. After all, I doubt that she could play Lucy in 3 movies and not come out with some wisdom.

^Yeah, I slighty fear what direction Georgie might be going. But I don't think now's the time to worry. I'm not very impressed with the fashion world either, but it is fun every once in a while to dress up fancy. Not that putting yourself up over others is a good thing, but we don't know why she's doing this. And remember, she said herself she'd like to be in more movies, and it sounds like she's a smart person, so I doubt this is something we nead to freak out about anytime soon.
And Georgie can choose whatever she wants to do. All we can do is hope that she won't make mistakes that she'd regret later, and that she'll make wise decisions.
I highly doubt Georgie taking part in fashion photoshoots for magazines, or dressing up in couture for premieres and fancy events, is her sacrificing her life on the alter of fashion.Just because a magazine publishes a photoshoot that someone considers "ugly", doesn't mean that it is ugly. Such is art, and fashion. It's all in the eye of the beholder. Georgie might very well love the "ugly duckling" photoshoots that you find unattractive. Just like I might LOVE a dress that someone else would never wear!
And it's important to remember that a lot of fashion magazine's photoshoots are very "high fashion"--aka not the sort of wearable style you would see on regular people.
Anyway, enough on fashion.

However, discussion of the actors' beliefs and private lives is considered gossip and is thus highly inappropriate here. Posts that bash an actor for something he/she says in a news article or TV appearance are disrespectful and will be removed.
I was wondering if anyone has seen the Jane Eyre film/TV that Georgie played the part of young Jane in? I've heard good things about it, but never actually seen it...thoughts?

Oh, sorry Valiant_Lucy!
I haven't seen the Jane Eyre film that Georgie, but I imagine she did swell!
