Those pictures are beautiful!!! Georgie looks so mature and the dress and hair together look great!
I cant wait to see her in VDT!!!!
NW twin to Georgiefan! NW sib to 22!
avvie by AslansChild thank you!!!
Georgie looks so grown up in that long lace dress! I can't wait to see her in the Dawn Treader. I believe she was going for a more grown up Lucy, which I think is a great idea.
"She seemed invincible. The same woman who enchanted my childhood, enchanted my time on Doctor Who and enchanted generations who have watched her and fallen in love with her – just like I did." -David Tennant
I also loved Georgie's dress! Beautiful but modest. And at least she had a short white coat to keep her warm. Thanks for the pics, Kat!
About the Daily Mail interview...
Yes, Lirenel, I know she played young Jane Eyre in the 2006 version [the only one I like now]. But Georgie certainly isn't plain Jane anymore. What saddens me is that she thinks of herself that way.
I have confidence in my personality, because I think that if I talk to people hopefully they will like me, but I don’t have confidence in my body. . . .
Is there anyone special at school? Does she have a boyfriend?
‘Oh no, there is nothing like that. I am definitely viewed as the ugly duckling in my group. My girlfriends are all very attractive so nobody looks at me like that,’ she says with her customary self-deprecation.
It seems from this interview that Georgie's friends consider her an ‘ugly duckling’ because they’re all supposedly prettier = I don’t call them friends! Georgie’s comments on herself are more than humility. She has a poor self-image. I’ve noticed in recent interviews that she comments on others’ features that she admires – like hair, teeth, and clothing. In the KidzWorld interview, she said she didn’t even like her face. When I read this, I cried!
Pray God helps Georgie be content with herself, inside and out, and makes her feel beautiful, inside and out. Pray God helps Georgie discover true beauty – faith in Jesus.
I suppose lots of teens (girls in particular) get quite self-conscious and begin worrying about their appearance. But then you get older and you don't worry so much and you realise that appearance isn't what matters. It's the person inside.

I can see where you are coming from 220chrisTian. Totally. But it's obvious that Georgie realizes it's normal for all girls to be self-conscious at her age. Hollywood ruins many girls when they reach Georgie's age or so, yet the fact she knows clearly that what she feels is very normal means something.
The brown dress is beautiful! And, um... unique?
To me Georgie wasn't being so much down on her own looks as being self-deprecating...something that is refreshing this day and age. And it didn't sound like her friends were putting her down, more that Georgie herself thinks highly of her friends - and is reassuring them that, even though she's a famous actress, she thinks her friends have qualities that surpass her own. I joke self-deprecatingly with my friends all the time - including about my looks - but it's still just joking. I haven't read the other interviews, but perhaps she is not putting herself down but being humble.
It just sounds like Georgie knows that beauty isn't everything - though she is beautiful herself - and doesn't appreciate the focus everyone seems to have on how she looks.

Georgie's view of herself re: beauty...
Only time will tell if I’m right. Check out the blog post below on ‘true beauty’ – from the Christian Narnia devotional Aslan’s Meditations. I think that when God transforms Georgie he will use her beauty struggles so she can help others. Her weakness will become her strength.
Here's Georgie @ the Moet British Independent Film Awards. I'm not too sure about the dress, but I like the cute shoes.
You can find the rest of the pics here.
I kind of like the dress. I like the green on gray. But yes, the shoes are really cute!

Georgie suits this kind of short dress, it makes her look like a cute princess
The best is always the next.
New Georgie interview. She talks about her home life & is waiting to hear if she's been cast in (2) new potential films.
And a new interview with Liam, Georgie, Skandar & Will P. LOL @ the group hug. Oddly enough, Skandar's all for it & the other two are like "Meh."
Love the group hug (what a difference a few years makes for Skandar tolerating group hugs LOL) and the Georgie interview thanks Kat!

Thanks for the links, Kat - and the brief descriptions! I knew about the Jake the Movie Guy interview but didn't report it on AC yesterday. I'm glad Skandar likes hugs. LOL.
2 potential films: wonder what they are, and Georgie's casting roles if she gets one or both of them? Genre, please?
And did you notice that Georgie said her premiere dress "picked" her? LOL.
Oh, poor Georgie... she acted on stage and boys threw things at her? *Tries not to laugh*
I have no idea what films she is talking about. Some of us must have heard of the first one, the big Hollywood shoot, only don't know Georgie has auditioned! That thought is going to drive me crazy. Hope she gets a part, though.
