I think the Russian fansite Georgie Henley Online is Simply Georgie's source. I agree: Georgie can't take a bad photo! And I apologize for my post, which was hours after yours. But when I tried to see your post it took me to the first page of this thread. And when I hit post reply, the latest posts were from Shastafan and Elanor. I don't know what was going on last night.

I wonder when new shoots of Ben, Skandar, and Will will show up. The Skandar fansites aren't on top of their game. They need serious updating. But I'm not the one to do it. If a new shoot appeared online, I don't think they'd research or find it!

Back to Georgie, how are we gonna "suspend our disbelief" and take that scene where Lucy recites the beauty spell seriously? No offense to Anna P's Susan, who is quite pretty, but Georgie's beautiful. I think of the entire cast, Georgie & Ben will be the ones to watch. They seem to show the most promise for maintaining successful acting careers post Narnia.

It's only going to be a couple of months before the movie comes out so promotion seems to be gearing up. Can't wait to see more pics/interviews from the rest of the cast.

I can't wait for more pics/interviews either! I want a Skandar/Georgie one. I don't think that exists yet. It didn't happen during LWW and PC promotion in 2005 and 2008, did it? I created the interviews playlist on AC's YouTube channel and what I'm describing doesn't exist.

I'd like to see an interview with Georgie and/or Skandar too! I'm glad we've seen interviews with Ben and Will, but there's been pratically nothing of Skandar and Georgie having an interview yet. How great it'd be to hear what they thought about some things and such! Well, at least we'll hear more interviews I hope soon!

Based on what I know of last time and the photography business, I'm guessing one image ranges from $50 (U.S.) on up. You're paying the photographer for the right to use their work and the photographer likely has to pay the company that she's selling the photos through so the fees pile up pretty quickly.

That's why we're being careful. If there's something that is public domain, that's fine to post in here. But typically if there is a watermark on the image, it's safe to say that someone, somewhere wants money for the right to republish that photo anywhere even on the internet.

I do agree. Those are some great photos. I suspect we'll start seeing more interviews about the time the movie comes out. Maybe before, but likely afterward. Probably whenever they start making the rounds to promote the movie. Right now they are probably being careful so not to leak any details.

I think Georgie & Ben have the most potential to make it as successful leads. They both have the looks & the acting chops, although I prefer Ben's other acting performances over his portrayal of Caspian. I think Will P. is more of a character actor & there are many successful character actors out there, so you might be right about his potential, too.

Aw, we've never had a Georgie/Skandar joint interview so I definitely wouldn't mind seeing one for "Dawn Treader," but I think they might pair her in joint interviews with Ben. They seem to have developed a friendly rapport if we're just going by photo assumption:

It's so ironic when the character of Susan is supposed to be the pretty one. Georgie was an adorably cute kid, but who knew she'd grow up so well?

She's certainly got the bone structure. She has great eyes & hair, too. A friend of mine visited the set when they were filming on the Gold Coast & he says Skandar stands about 5'-8", Ben's around 6'-0"+/- and Georgie's about 5'-4" to 5'-5" tall. If she keeps growing a few more inches, she probably will be tall enough to model one day.

Lucy is my absolute favorite character out of the movies...

...but I'm afraid she might not be in VDT.

That's fine. I am not watching for Lucy anyway and almost not even Edmund. I am looking forward to Eustace. That being said, I truly believe she was insecure adn jealous. I think she probably worried what her friends said about her and being prettier than Susan without the spellbook, but it showed what was really going on inside of her. If it wasn't truly her, then why did she need to repent? I mean I get thoughts in my head that aren't tryuly me or how I think or feel about something and I repent of them but...still...this is Lucy's momnet of flaws so to speak. I don't think Lewis intended for her to be a Mary-Sue, enchanted or not.
That being said, I still love ya, Riella. You're an awesomesauce writer and awesomesauce person.

I never said it wasn't her real feelings, I just said that I don't think her looks was something she had given too much thought, before the spell she read put the idea in her head. (As for eavesdropping on her friends to see what they thought of her, I think that's something anyone would do just out of curiosity)

Lucy needing to repent does not necessarily indicate that those thoughts were an ongoing problem. Every sin needs to be repented of, whether it was done only once, or many times. So even if that was the only time she committed those thoughts, she would still need to repent of them.

I didn't see anything in the book that showed signs that she thought about her looks all the time, or worrying if boys liked her or not, the way they are apparently portraying her in the movie. I actually don't see how she could spend much time worrying about it. It may be common for the average girl her age, but it is not common for a person who has come face-to-face with God, who has buried her face in Aslan's actual mane, has felt his actual presence beside her. I don't see how it's possible for anyone who's come that close to God to worry about much of anything, really -- let alone something as shallow (in comparison) as outward appearances.

Lucy has always been a sort of role model of what a Christian should be. She's the one who trusts Aslan most, she's the one Aslan almost always speaks to first, she's the one who is criticized by others when she decides to follow Aslan (the way Christians are persecuted in real life). Suddenly turning her into a typical teen who's self-conscious and worrying about boys is not a good choice of the filmmakers', in my opinion.
