answer to Question- I think Jill in the beginning of silver chair she should show her heart of gold only in her face but then it starts to show in her body movement and what she says later in the silver chair.

I think that Jill should be self conscious (she's always teased and made fun of) and that she's bossy and snappy and very defensive to cover up, not let people get to close. But as she learns to trust Eustace and Puddleglum she begins to show her heart of gold. First, like you said, only in her face. Then she can relax more with her posture and facial expressions and in what she says to Eustace and others. What do you think about that?

I think that is a really good assessment of how Jill should be. The question is, will the SC script and direction bring that out in whomever they cast, assuming they pick the right actress?

But really...I was thinking about how's she;s been bullied. Now, I've never been bullied, but I am defensive on a few subjects, like my acting (nobody's made fun of me, but I think I imagined that they do, so I'm defensive on that) Point being, she is made fun of, it's realistic for her to be defensive about it. Like when Eustace comes around the corner and she's crying (on another note, I think it should be a "silent cry", because she doesn't want the bullies to hear her "blubbing" and come bully her more) I think she should suddenly start wiping her eyes and try to be tough.

I think Jill Pole should have kinda of a golden hair or dirty blond and hazel eyes, or brown eyes! She should have like 12 right now, since they film SC in 2013.

I Agree! That´s something they should do!

How do you think Jill should carry herself? I think she should have very little self-confidence (except for when she's showing off) and sort of slouch; when she shows off she is proud. And later she learns to have a healthy amount of self-respect, but never looks down on people. She should carry herself to reflect these changes in her.

I'd agree to that on most accounts, but I really don't quite know what to expect since I haven't read the book recently. I think she definitely gains more confindence, but one thing I remember her going through is forgettting and missing the steps Aslan gives her. I think that's a vital part of Jill's character arch when she lets the idea of going to Harfang slip over her better judgement and thoughts of the mission. And when Aslan talks to her later, I hope we see her misery and humiliation when she realizes she failed on remembering and doing the steps.

I think Jill could be like a " show off " that thinks she knows it all. Maybe at the end she becomes a ess of a show off and more of a friendly girl. What do you guys think about the casting people casting an american girl, not a UK girl, maybe they could change her being bullied because of her last name, to beng bullied for coming from the US and not having an accent! I agree with how Jill should act more like a show off but I think Jill should remain British. I think it would be fair if casting calls were in both England and America for the role of Jill because so many girls wants to play her and most American actresses can do British accents and I hope an American can live out their narnian dream with playing a Narnia character.
