It would be really awkward if they liked each other

I don't think it's bad that Eustace and Jill liked eachother, as long as was a close-friend type of like. I aslo want to see the two argue a lot and slowly get along better as it goes on.

There are a lot of good suggestions on here, but I would really prefer Jill to be played by an unknown or very new actress (kinda like how Will Poulter had been in only one or two [relatively] small movies before VDT).

Jill Pole has to be someone who can act fierce but in their face show insecurity. They should also have a British accent even if it is not that strong. They should also be able to cry in front of a camera and really show emotion. I also think she should have dirty blonde hair but definitely not pure blonde that would be too much. I also think blue eyes would be the best.

JillPoleFan565, I agree with you on everything except the hair colour, I think she should have reddish/brown hair that's not that dark... lighter than the Anna and Georgie's, but far darker than blonde.

I think along the lines of Camilla Power's hair colour would be good. She really needs to be a good actress though.

I think she should look fairly simple. She is supposed to look cute for the giants, but is at an age where she shouldn't look particularly cute. Cuteness is kind of lost around the age of 10 and it moves into beauty.

Well, the giants are kind of dumb , so maybe it will be okay if she acts sort of silly and cute, even though she's like, thirteen or so.

How old are you all thinking she should be? Will is 17 now, and he's had a massive growth spurt since VoDT filming; he is now about as tall as Ben if you see them standing together. He'll be close to 19 at the youngest when they film SC.

So, Jill...I'm hoping for a girl around 15/16, since any younger would look wierd alongside a getting-grown-up Will. I think they can de-age him to around 16, no?

I think that would work. I have a slight fear Will will grow to the height of the Ettinsmoor giants if they don't make SC in time.

I don't think her age matters that much. She just needs to look older/more mature. She also needs to be relatively tall. How tall is Will now, 5'10"-6'2"? As I said it doesn't matter the age as long as she looks and acts older!

Jill should probably just be shorter than Eustace, because he calls her small in the last battle, so around 5'6"

I doubt that'll be hard to do, because Will is way taller then he used to be! She does need to be shorter I think, but not too short so Eustace ends up towering over her!

BTW, I realized this: what if small could mean slim and light? (the reason she is mentioned as "small" is because she wasn't making much noise as they walked through the woods, and Eustace says "It's because she's so small". The lighter you are, the less noise you make, right? I've been called "small", and I'm rather tall, but slim.

I think Just as long as she is no taller then Georgie she is fine 5'6" is too tall even if will is 5'8"
