[Closed] Casting by Accents?

I think in casting for LWW, they made it a point to cast only native English actors and actresses. :) They did this because they believed there was so much talent already in the British landmass, that they didn't need to fly in actors from other countries, etc.

However, now that there is a new studio and director, casting may go a bit differently. :D

I know that James McAvoy is Scottish, but I completely could not tell that from the movie. I think that if they need a British accent in certain rolls, they will find someone who has it/can fake it well enough. But it would probably take too long to cast someone who needs an accent and has to learn one.
