Yes. I suppose. There`s a lot of spoliers and theories floating around. Its all speculation at this point.Although I heard about a spoiler that makes it appear as though the relationship will be low key. Also I was thinking in regards to the fact that there are so many other major plot elements in the movie. The Caspian and Lilliandil relationship maybe downplayed in light of everything else. There is a lot going on in this movie. Perhaps more than any other Narnia film thus far. I just wonder how film makers will fit this element into such a action packed and theme laden movie. Taking pacing into account I wonder how they can fit anything in of consequence without slowing such an adventurous movie down.

I really think you people are making a mountain out of a molehill. Ed says no when a beautiful girl offers to become less pretty and people are thinking that there will be a huge deal over it. Calm down, in all the other pictures with them Ed is always off to the side and Caspian is the one closest to her.
And also why is everybody saying that he shouts "No", they both say it in a normal voice.
By the way I think I would probably say no too, why wouldn't you say no, should you say yes and lie?

^^ Don't worry. I don't think people are as freaked out as they may sound (I'm not). We just like to discuss all the possibilities, and try to get as much information as we can from the footage that has been released. :) All just part of pre-movie excitement. :D

Saying "No" like that wouldn't mean anything (just like you said) if it hapenned in real life. But everything that's put into a movie, is put in by the filmmakers for some purpose. And the point is, what purpose was this part put in, unless they wanted to point out that Edmund liked Lilliandil too?

Or they just want to have an awkward moment in the movie where people can chuckle.

I`m not really bothered by Edmund and Caspian saying "No" . I`m hoping for a few more scenes with Lilliandil and Caspian interaction though. All my silly little rants are centered around interests toward Caspian and Lilliandil development. Even if they didn`t have any other scenes I would still enjoy the movie anyway. I`ve never seen a Narnia film I didn`t like thus far.

Comic relief/moment?

I think it is giving a clue that Edmund has also grown up a lot and is interested in girls too. Just as Lucy has begun to grow up and is concerned about her looks and being admired.

If Edmund was unmoved by a beautiful young woman it would suggest he was not growing up as much.... as he doesn't look much different from the last film, we need to see some indicators that he has changed a bit.

There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.

yeah...I don't think the scene serves anything other than the two purposes above.

Exactly. That's one of the only justifications I can see for this scene. Skandar/Edmund was already very tall in PC, and he hasn't grown that much height-wise. Now I'm sure he's grown up personality-wise as well, but that might not come through as much in his acting. They do need some indicators that he's grown up a little bit since the last film. If him being interested in girls is the way they chose to do that, then so be it.

I still don't think this will be a big deal. ;))

I'd be more worried about global warming than a Edaspiandill triangle.

As a Voyage of the Dawn Treader purist, I am going to be a grumpy old git about this. [-( This is totally unnecessary and I don't like it. There is no purpose to it. Just like there was no purpose to Susan and Caspian. It wasn't funny to me, just annoying. Just another way to make this film exactly like every other film out there and rip out it's soul.

I'd be more worried about global warming than a Edaspiandill triangle.

I'd second that, especially with what we're hearing from people who've seen the movie (and the fact that we've had a green Christmas 3 times in the last 4 years, which never used to happen :-o , but that's besides the point ;) ) But my understanding is that it plays a very miniscule role in the film.

If the leaked script is any indicator (and judging by the amount of stuff that survived from it into the final movie) there is also bound to be Lucy in that triangle (for Caspian), so make that a Edmund - Lilliandil - Caspian - Lucy "Quad-angle".

Although by this point I probably wouldn't mind anyway.
