Wrapped up my first waterfall run last night. I have a current total of 270 pearls (100 of those came from completing the assignment). I think I've found my groove in the new area. If I can alternate two waterfall runs, the first being a supplies collecting run and the second being the full run to the end, that seems to be a good way to do it. The Acres is great for passive play, whereas the Falls is much more active. 

Oh, and I also have both of the new tactical tomes. @Gymfan15, is there anything else to do with idea germs besides Prolific Printing Paper? Or maybe they'll come in handy in the next area?

I really like this pair of areas. They're nice and simple, but it's also well designed in terms of drops and being able to easily collect the supplies you need. So

A better way to get gold so I can buy some of the stuff I keep missing.

So much of supplies as a whole is dependent on how much you play. Even if you can't be active, but can keep yourself signed in, you'll make a lot of gold in the background. Obviously not everyone can do that, but I think that's why I have quite a bit stored up (not enough to finish that last Dragon trap though, unfortunately).

@fantasia Most likely Germs will be used for Paper farming and charm upgrades, but no harm in holding onto them until after the Cliffs come out because it's still not known if they'll be a use for them there (devs have been pretty cagey on that one). So I'm not going to spend any resources beyond what I need to finish up buying the traps.

Speaking of traps, I do have the first Hydro upgrade and I took a break from the area to do some mapping; but I'll be heading back soon to get the second and make sure I have a decent amount of surplus supplies for the Cliffs. I am wondering if the Cliffs are going to come out before LNY; I have a feeling it won't...which means, would supply farming be better in the event? Not sure!

Anyone having trouble getting set up on the app? Do you think the raffle will go away?

I heard today that Facebook are changing their whole gaming concepts, and games of the MouseHunt kind will be discontinued. So MouseHunt will be unavailable on Facebook, perhaps has already been closed down.

www.mousehuntgame.com is still available, though.

I play almost exclusively on Mousehunt.com and have since pretty much the beginning; I think I only used the FB site briefly. I have the app but I don't use it a ton; I'm just so used to the web interface that I don't feel as comfy in the app!

@starkat I've always been a little hit or miss with the mobile app; sometimes it sends me into an update loop. The devs have said that the vast majority of players have been on the web or mobile version of the game for a long time (i.e. the FB players is a very small group) and the raffle has stuck around so I wouldn't imagine that would go away.

Ah; I guess I didn't realize the raffle wasn't on the app. To be fair, I think I've only won twice in the...13 years I've been playing? So it's not like it's a great source of goods. 😀 

Saw the Rift Hailstone Singularity Base come up as rewards in the Great Winter Taiga. That ought to change up making a run through the Valor Rift. The usual pros and cons. Had I known the developers would drop this one at this time, I'd have waited a bit for it. Anyhoo. Trusting this finds everyone well.

The Conclusion Cliffs are out, and all of the mousely literary references are super fun (and I was hoping for a more overt C.S. Lewis reference); there is one "Gnawnian" reference that made me gasp with delight when I saw it. Looking forward to unlocking the art on that one. 😀 

I'm in Moussu Picchu, and i cannot raise the rain intensity for cheese or money. I have the "rainy" cheese, i have a Shadowy trap, i'm catching mice, is there something else i'm missing?? I had no issue getting the wind intensity up, but i've been hunting for at least two days with this setup, and my rain intensity is still zero.

@arin Hmm...make sure you're not accidentally using the base that freezes the intensity level? The LE Storm Condenser base will do that. I can't think of any other option in MP that would do that; considering you're catching mice.

ETA: Just peeked at your profile; yep that's the issue! Oops! 😀

Haha! It's useful if you are doing a lot of maps that require catching mice in certain zones and you don't want to keep babying your setup to turn things off/on again to stay in one level. But def not helpful if you're trying to increase intensity.

In other news, I'm working on my first Fantasy run in the Cliffs and should be completing the adventure to catch the Ultimate Mythweaver tomorrow. Then I'll reassess my current situation to see if I'm equipped to keep doing runs to farm Diamonds or if I need to go back to the Falls to do one or two more runs to gather supplies. I have a lot of Plot Hooks to play with at the moment, but I do NOT have a lot of Manchego and I will need some to crown the outside mice.
