We woke up to a lovely layer of white this morning, on April 7. Spring has been trying to arrive some days, but winter keeps making a come-back.
My husband, who left for work extra-early this morning, texted me, "Watching the snow blow in from the north. A veritable blizzard!" We won't have to shovel, but the roads look slick, with the now-white countryside a beautiful picture. Cold, too. -8C / 17.6F, with the windchill around -15C / 5F. The temp today is only going up to 0C—bang on freezing!
Starting on Thursday, we are to reach double digits (Celsius), with some days rain (especially on Friday); other days have a mix of sun and clouds. We are expecting comfortable temperatures at night, in the single digits, so my long, brisk walks can continue for awhile yet.
My early spring bulbs (snowdrops and crocuses) began to appear a couple of weeks ago during a couple of warmer days, then they froze in place until the temps warm up again.
The birds and plants must be quite confused. The busy birds sure are devouring the seeds in our bird feeders.
EDIT: I popped into town this morning to do a few errands, and, sure enough, the roads were slippery in spots, but with not many cars out, the drive was okay going in, as I took careful care. At times mini squalls were coming down, looking gorgeous against all the tall, thick evergreens on my route. If only this were at the beginning of winter, instead of the tail end.
We still have our winter tires on, which helps a great deal in unexpected winter weather! We know of folk who, at the first sign of spring, change their tires to summer ones, and then regret it again and again when the snow keeps returning.

I have noticed that it seems to be a running gag in the winter months that you and I are reporting roughly the same weather conditions in this thread except you're excited about it and I'm annoyed about it

Here we go
After a few damp, grey days, with drizzle and gloom, we're expecting 24 degrees (c75 F) this afternoon. Might even get a bit of gardening done.
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
