In fact about half of the story was completed. It was finished through animation.

The story is available on DVD. There also is an older version, which was released on VHS, which was later released on DVD and is also still available. Tom Baker filled in the incomplete portions of the story.

I wonder how many people here remember the series of six Doctor Who stories known as The Key to Time. It was a story arc that lasted a whole season and starred Tom Baker as the Doctor and Mary Tamm as his companion Romana. I watched the entire season recently and found it very enjoyable. If you are a Doctor Who fan and have never seen this series or it has been a long time since you last watched it I encourage you to watch it for its fine acting and wonderful stories. It is still available on DVD, and the set I have owned for about fifteen years still works fine.

I am listening to the audio drama The Bounty of Ceres. Peter Purves plays the first Doctor. He plays the role very well and reminds you much of William Hartnell as he should. He also plays the role of Steven Taylor, which he also performed on the television series. The audio transports you back into the 1960’s even though it was made about only ten years ago. If you have never heard Dr. Who audio dramas and are a fan of the television series I would certainly recommend them especially to fans of the classic Dr. Who. :)

I am listening to the CD now. I also liked the television episode Ghost Light, which was one of the best ghost stories on Doctor Who. As I remember there were also several ghost stories on the audio dramas including Ghost Walk with the fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. They are all haunting adventures. :)

It has William Russell and Maureen O’Brien, two actors which were in the classic series. Russell played the Doctor and Ian Chesterton. Maureen O’Brien played Vicki and Barbara. It is more of an historical adventure than science fiction, but it is intriguing all the same. History buffs should like the audio drama. I am listening to it now and find it very enjoyable.

I would tend to agree with him and prefer the old classic series over the new one. I love the old fashioned quality of the classic series.

Right now I am listening to The Anachronauts, which is an audio story based on the stories of the first Doctor. Purves plays both the first Doctor and Steven Taylor, and Sara Kingdom is played by Jean Marsh, who passed away a few years ago. It would have made a great episode of the original series. It is a fine time travel adventure. I love the antique vintage quality that the story recaptures. :)
